Pain res is definetly meta, DMS not really. I would rather take Corrupt.
DMS can work well on killers with mobility, but I really wouldn't use it on any killer unlike pain res. It's really not that good after last nerf anyway.
Thing is last good slowdown released after pain res was recently Turn back the clock, which is decent, but not really that good where I would use it over Pain res…
-
I would much rather prefer some chat wheel kinda like mobile had. That's simple, effective and can't really be abused.
I will turn off the voice chat in the moment it gets live. DBD doesn't have good community, it will almost never get used to anything useful.
Even with every other pvp game, voice chats are basically useless until you get to highest ranks, which we don't have in DBD, where all people want to win and know what they are doing. Otherwise it's not used at all, or used to trash talk.
-
That's terrible idea. That would feel so bad to play with.
Just make her unable to see survivor aura while charging the blink, that makes sure her counterplay is always viable to survivors.
-
I hate Kaneki a lot, he is by far my most hated killer in DBD history.
But he would be terrible as 110 killer imo.He is managable when pallets are not free downs anymore. Don't take me wrong, he is still very annoying, but at least I don't have need to surrender every game. (still limit how many times I want to play against him in one session tho)
-
Yeah, I have stopped using it on purpose, simply because the chase as survivor with WoO is not enjoyable for me.
Currently playing even without exhaustion perk, it's just more satisfying for me.Five moves ahead is way better than WoO anyway. Unless you really need constant guide on where to go.
-
Sadly not that much, simply because for some reason devs made it you can't put BP into disabled killer.
I am currently interested only in Legion to prestige, so didn't really have reason to grind.
Also I am not fan of the mode, which didn't help the situation. -

Using leaps to cut survivors off the resource from loop like wraith does (ofcourse wraith doesnt do it with some form of dash or leap but he does cut survivors off from resource) is harder than playing nurse it requires way more speed and accuracy.
Using his leaps for enraged vault isnt hard but its not that strong because survivors can just vault through ghoul back to other side when he is preforming that vault (1,5 seconds) which is kinda easy counter that doesnt require much brain from survivor side just obseravtion of killer with little experience.
Other than that ghoul is palying 115% speed in loops and can vault them but now he isnt so good in this as before so his skill of being good in chase is way higher than before.
Nurse needs to be more precise but isnt that hard to get used to because you use her power all the time, she cant be played without not using her power even with that meme addon that makes her 115% speed and her antiloop is way better than ghouls so unless the nurse isnt that good or you arent in good part of the map you will get hit annyways if she doesnt mess ups.
Using leaps to cut survivors off the resource from loop like wraith does (ofcourse wraith doesnt do it with some form of dash or leap but he does cut survivors off from resource) is harder than playing nurse it requires way more speed and accuracy.
Yeah, under "good" Ghoul I would expect them to do this too, I don't find it harder than what Blight needs to do…
But I am pretty sure average/bad Ghoul is going to have way better results than Nurse, simply because his skill floor is way lower than Nurse. It's not even close.
I agree Ghoul has quite high skill ceiling, issue is most players don't need to really reach it to have good results.
-
Not sure what they would have to put as reward to get people play ranked willingly. That would be such a sweat fest.
-
I don't even need Bot, just let me start it without a killer…
-
I don't think either of those should be 4.4 m/s
Wesker/Hillibily simply can't get same result as Blight after destroying pallet unless survivor keeps running in straight line…I hate Ghoul, but he shouldn't be 110 killer.
-
I would rather for such concept is created a new killer over messing with my main…
Mimic killer has an issue it's destined to be pure soloq/noob stomper.
-
Visually? Amazing
Gameplay? HellIt acts as not indoor map, but it's still hold W simulator.
-
Nurse has better counterplay than Ghoul, so I would say also skill issue.
Issue is Nurse can remove counterplay with perks, but so can Ghoul.I will take Nurse anyday over Ghoul. Nurse at least needs some skill to be good.
It's funny how you want to compare match with "good Nurse" and any Ghoul. If you compare with good Ghoul, who can actually use leap in loops, then there is not really much counterplay going on. -
Wesker, might be.
Rest is simply not difficult enough to be on such power level. -

Having to look back in chase is one of the few things that gave her depth and made her more than just a shi*t a drone type of killer.
I am just not in the camp of making her a mindless killer, so I 100% support that if you want to play her at a higher level you will have to adept to a more unique playstyle. That's the whole point of killer variety. A Unique learning curve, unique gameplay, and not just pressing m2 every so now and then randomlyMy issue is it's not really difficulty that's interesting in killers something to master, it's just annoying "extra step".
It would be fine, if increased "difficulty" meant higher effectivness, but outcome of this is about the same and worse overall. You have to do more for same result and you just get less stealth in early game (the time where stealth is most important) and in chase (less important, but can help).
-
Sure, but let's slow it down to Wesker speed and remove hindered.
Kaneki has free injury and one of best mobility powers in the game. There is not really reason why he needs vault in first place.Kinda funny how people forget his vault is still exactly same on windows. But oh no, he has to destroy pallets now…

Guess what, when you reach max drones, you also have to recall drones each time when you want to set one up. And don't start about the "trap" playstyle because you can hardly play this killer as a trap killer.
The main gameplay of Skullmerchant comes from throwing the drone down at a planned rotation angle (with foresight) to ensure that the survivor will run through it, and accelerate how often that happens through switching the direction, as well as double hits from the drone into m1's
The current mechanic adds to that by allowing you to recall a drone without creating a massive spottable zone around you, allowing you to quickly switch targets and get surprise hits on people, or even surprise the person you're chasinghttps://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4071360#Comment_4071360
That last part is one of the few things she has going for her. She needs work indeed, just not on that part
you also have to recall drones each time when you want to set one up.
No? I would simply recall 2-3 in zones I am not interested when I have time for it.
I didn't have to look back and forward during the chase/patrolling whenever I want undetectable.Right now you basically get same/worse result for more work.
There is no depth to it, it's just annoying. -

Did you just ignore the other suggestion I made which was:
"or even maybe some kind of tell that's not an aura (glowing) for survivors could go a long way."
Because you aren't really helping. You can talk about about SWF all you like, there is nothing not even a complimenting perk which tells solo Q survivors what locker you are inYeah, so let's reveal aura to survivors outside of your party.
Then the buff helps only soloQ, your primary group, and bully squads need to learn their comms.

That's just wrong, when I communicate with friends its easy to tell them what locker it is lol
The aura just makes it a tell or even maybe some kind of tell that's not an aura (glowing) for survivors could go a long way.
As I said they are just ideas, not solutions
Better come up with ideas than be like omg no.when I communicate with friends its easy to tell them what locker it is lol
Yeah, no. It's quite normal to fail at this, I have seen even comp players to have miss communication here.
It's not easy (depends on the map), but you need exactly 0 brain cells when you see yellow aura.Like sure, if they start to create a difference and show it only to people outside of your group, I would be fine with it, so it's actually aimed at soloQ.
-
That would be worst possible trade.
I think you have no idea how bad it would be for him to be 4.4. That's so much bigger nerf than just worse pallet vault.
It's pointless to return his vault, when you wouldn't catch survivors around most pallets anyway, if you would be 4.4.

This is the worst part of it.
I clicked legion, then clicked the bloodweb and clicked the + button right after.
Spent 4 million on trapper by accident, because it auto switched to him without me noticing.Yeah same here, luckily only one million on Chucky :D
Really annoying timing when we have mode for more BP, but I can't put prestige on killer I want. -
Yeah, I was finally happy she got better to play and they had to make her even worse than before for me…
Like she was strong enough she needed to be nerfed.
-
Last Stand as exhaustion would be obnoxious as hell, especially with Finesse.
Head on
Hell no, I never want to see headon get anywhere close to meta. That would be definetly bleed out material.
It wouldn't be soloQ perk, it would just become brainless easy SWF perk. -
or they could just fix their map hitboxes…
but hey, adding invisible walls around cliffs seemed to have priority.
-
With his changes, also nerfing his power would be rough.
His changes will be enough to drop his kill rate and pick rate, simply even before he was one of the most difficult killers, now he will be the most difficult killer.
Maybe they are planning something like this in second wave, after we see performance of those nerf.
For now I think changes on PTB are enough. -
It really annoys me I can't put BP into him…
-
Dredge not loosing distance might help a bit.
Unknown, Animatronic and Wesker have noticable buffs.
Demogorgon, better than nothing but his stealth is not big deal with how loud he is.
Ghost face, Bubba, Doctor won't really change much for them.
Skully is joke. -

How many more nerfs do you need? They removed his stupid scamper. That's enough.
They removed his stupid scamper.
He can still do it on windows. It's just worse on pallets, if survivor knows about it.
Change was enough I don't consider him instant surrender, but I definetly have him still on first spot for most annoying killer to play against.
-
Thing is I would rather they don't change old characters sound, so we don't have Steve situation again.
I really don't want my main ruined, because someone wanted voice lines.

my build is the wrong example for others, but i do what you do and its why I enjoy springtrap so much. I enjoy struggling with an end game build, running and chasing like a goofy carefree child and being happy to let people go but I have insurance in case I need whip out the belt at the exit gates.
do I lose a lot more by playing perkless? yup. but I sleep better at night this way. I stick to my philosophy of reciprocating vibes.
I was playing endgame Legion for a while and I have to stay, I was way more chill while playing.
There is no stress, even when gens are flying, I want to get into endgame anyway :D

AGAIN, I will say this again, because some people really struggle to comprehend this.
The point is not that specialist is better then fast track. I have outlined my reasons why I think so in this post, but that is an opinion.
What is a FACT and my actual point.
Fast track is not a unique perk. There are a bunch of different gen combos that survivors that can run which are more consistent and fast including combos that you apply permanent progress, and been part of the game for years and not been an issue.
NOTHING about Fast track is new, the ONLY REASON people are throwing a tantrum about this perk, is because of a few overdramatic youtubers trying to farm views.
Damn, that's some flawed logic if I ever seen one.
So buffing any slowdown perk to triple of it's value would be fine, because Undone exists.
Undone is actually best perk in the game, because it both regress and block the gen. We can ignore the way of getting tokens, because that's clearly not relevant… -
Just use perks against it, when you see it that much…
Killer is expected to bring slowdowns perks, but survivors still can't be bothered to use anti-tunneling perks.I personally don't care, if I get tunneled, mainly because it's rare. So I just use Babysitter to help my teammates in most of my builds...
You see slugging often? Use WGLF/Unbreakable
-
Yeah, just go watch some tutorials mate, no need to go on forum, when you lack basic knowledge of the game.
It doesn't have to be even comp DBD, you have so many good survivor content creators, then just try to copy them.

SWF gets that information immediately, even before the chase starts. Tying killer reveal to chase (or first hit, somewhere around there) is the optimal decision IMO.
Yeah, I think it's good idea to include it under that "survivor perks tab", but it definetly shouldn't be visible since start of the game.
I think start of the chase is best trigger, alternative would be survivor being inside TR.

I will say this again.
Because you are really struggling with this.
The point is not to argue that specialist is better then fast track. Is better to lose a hook state versus use time looting a chest? Wasting the few seconds to open a chest for an affect the killer has no control over versus one that is passive that killer does have some control over.
It's a subjective argument that has no definitive answer. I will say it again for you. While I would argue that specialist is better then fast track, it is not wrong for you to have the opinion that fast track is better then specialist.
My point
Is this perk, that has existed for years, you can run with the same build that everyone is running with fast track and get the same effect. This has existed for 2 years, and has never been issue. It is literally only right now being consider an issue to when running stakeout hyperfocus, which again you have been able to do for years.
Nothing about this is new. What is new, is some players are acting like the game is unplayable, when nothing has changed.
Is this perk, that has existed for years, you can run with the same build that everyone is running with fast track
Those two perks are not even close…. Specialist is trash perk.
It doesn't make you do gens faster, when you need to waste time on chests.Fast track let's you play exactly same as you would without it, but you just get extra gen progress during the game.
-
I usually suggest to killers to use builds, where you will not be at the mercy of survivors.
Always start strong and depends on how survivors play you can ease up a bit.I am always up for some shenanigans with survivors, I have a rule "if you make me laugh, you escape".
But truth is most survivors will not do it, quite the opposite. -
Well, I just worry with their code it will end with rush also being slower, which would be an issue.
Edit: Lilith confirmed his rush speed won't change, so should be fine.

Ghoul is the only killer I hate but he's still an m1 killer. No m1 killer should be 4.4 (HAG!!!!!!!!)
With your logic, Spirit is M1 killer and she is 4.4.
I don't think Ghoul should be 4.4, just that your reasoning is flawed.
-
I just want his detection to be constant range with addons increasing it, instead of connected to TR.
Legion would be way better, if you could use Oblivous/Undetectable perks. -

Hot take, Ghoul was never strong to begin with. He will never outcompete Dracula, Singularity, Blight or Nurse.
This is a mighty hot take. I don't at all agree with "Ghoul never being strong to begin with" This made me laugh quite a bit. However the second half I do agree with. Those other killers do outcompete him. (Dracula maybe)
Ghoul was never really top tier (maybe with kidnap tech), but he definetly is not weak killer. I would call him strong, just not S tier strong.
I will rather play against Nurse/Blight/Dracula/Henry/Billy any day over Ghoul tho. For me it's just difficulty vs effectiveness, I don't like when it's not balanced.

To be honest I don't really worry about that much cuz I run Ultimate Weapon and Darkness Revealed so survivors can't run away and hide from me.
It's not about hiding, issue is if you start a chase while survivor has 30 meters ahead of you, they can just hold W and get a good chase by default from that.
Then you have rock loops, where every 4,4 m/s killer is going to struggle. So you basically get faster down, because of only 6 knives needed, but it brought back classic struggles of slower killer.
-
That's not QoL…
If you struggle to get Blood fury active, play with Coupe, or some undetectable perk.

Kinda annoying is this might be the best head to combine with the torso…
-
It depends, Trickster is better at the point when he gets close to survivors, but if survivors play against him safe and prerun, then there is not much you can do to win that game.
It will be slightly better now when decay starts later, so you can try to get some long range shots…
-
I really like to play with Coupe, so I basically have some "power" even without Victor.

LOL B-tier is over nerfing apparently meanwhile D tier killers would dream of reaching b tier all these convos with you cannot be Fr my guy
I think we need to take into account the difficulty of the killer and I believe Blight to be either one of, or the most difficult killer in DBD. Making him 4,4 m/s would give him that spot for sure…
Simple killers to play just can't be high tier, often kinda by default with design of their power (lack of mobility), but it also creates situation, where effectivness don't match difficulty, which is an issue in my opinion.
We have seen it with many killers in past, latest was probably buffed Clown. It was annoying to play against him, yet he was still worse than Nurse/Blight.Same is when you have highly difficult killer with low effectiveness. We had this with overheat Billy. He was simply not worth put time into learning him.
I believe difficult killers should be strong, so player gets rewarded in putting effort into them. Why would I put hundreds of hours into a killer just to get mediocre results, that doesn't make sense.
-
I don't think his kit really needed vault in first place, so at least he is somewhat bearable to play against now.
You already have free injury and one of best mobility powers. Seems kinda too much to counter both hold W and safe loops. It's not like he is much worse imo. It works exactly same on windows, which you can't revault when every Ghoul uses Bamboozle/addon. So you just have to destroy some pallets, when survivors know to revault. I would say it's still worth a try to see, if survivor will revault or not.
Which means the ghoul is just a worse legion
lol, not even close. His mobility alone puts him above Legion even if you completely removed his vault.
-
I wouldn't want it to affect something in meaningful way really, because slippery meat builds are one of the most annoying builds to play against as killer.
But hey, something like rarity of items in chest wouldn't be that big deal and it would make sense.
