You did not play in the 4 year event? there was a very clear message from one of the devs saying "the chase music is loud so that the survivor has a chance to escape"
Why are you literally copied 1 question, that I have answered before in this suggestion?

@mentalpopcorn said:
The chase music literally exists to give the survivor a chance to stealth away. It functions as intended.
Your audio issues could be something as simple as the audio settings. Tons of people including myself have absolutely no issue with the audio. Also balanced landing isn't just about a quiet landing, it gives a burst of speed too.
So in conclusion. You're calling a mechanic that functions as intended as an "extra perk" and a bug that is probably just a problem with your audio settings "balanced landing"
Dude I'm a killer main and id have to have a gun pressed to my head to be this biased.
No, I'm not calling a game mechanic is an extra perk, I'm calling all these sound bugs an extra perk, they've been in game for SO long and the devs are probably not going to fix them, so why do need a loud ass chase music when its already too many chances to survivor to escape by muting their sounds? So many youtubers like Scott Jund , Otz, Truetalent , Jaee and ect. been talking and showing all these sound bugs, so I don't even know , how you can't find them in your games?

Title of your thread: "Remove the chase music from the killer side or make it less loud?"
Your answer: "You don't understand the main problem, I'm ok with loud chase music but only if the sounds wouldn't be so broken as now, this is just not fair."
If in your title you ask to remove the music or make it less noisy but later you say that loud chase music is not what bothers you then there is something that has no sense.
The answer is only one "the chase music is loud so that the survivor has a chance to escape"
Maybe you should ask the right question and specify a little more what is your problem if you want someone to answer something else
Loud chase music will bother me untill sounds not will be fixed, and they probably not going to be, and even if will be - they gonna broke them in 2 major updates like I said before. So why do we need a chase music on the killer side then when its literally impossible to hear something with this sound bug, too many "chances to survivor to escape" by hiding or not beeing able to mindgame them in any way. Ok , if there is would be a scenario where sounds are fixed I will not say anything against a loud chase music, because YOU CAN HEAR them , loud chase music doesn't mute all sounds, but right now its just unfair, loud chase music+sound bugs creates a huge imbalance.

Why can't you read literally one of my comments where I'm answering on the same thing what you said?

Devs have stated its meant to be like this to dampen the killers ability to hear

It is loud for a reason... :)
They keep adding something like breathing or other effects to the new killers, so right now its even more harder to hear anything, I would understand that move if sounds wouldn't be broken as hell.

@28_stabs said:
Devs force the music to hide footsteps even tho we have stridor.. :)
So should I run a stridor to just counter the bug? And if you didn't know stridor can't counter this bug, survivors are still silent.

Quentin of course

You should M2 and not get so caught up in a perk not activating because of that.
You got a down.
You’re making progress towards your objective.
I mean you want to heal against killers like these, because staying injured is a LOT dangerous, billy needs 2.5 seconds to chainsaw you, by this time you can juke him because you are not injured, not even gonna talk about oni or huntress. And yeah, some people are still healing against a legion, so mainly you just want to use their power and not m1, and that's unfair, like for me, when I'm playing huntress or billy I mainly trying to m2, because its more rewarding you then just a single m1, you're basically become a killer with no power while trying to activate these perks, and if you playing as 4.4 m/s killer then it becames even more horrible.

You’re not “throwing the game” if it strategically makes more sense to use M1 to activate the perk over using M2.
Geez, even billy players need to use their basic attack sometimes. They can’t M2 all the time.
So for example , if I'm using it on killers that usually use their m2 more than m1. Leatherface or Billy. I found the obsession in dead zone, what should I do? Chainsaw him or m1 to activate the perk? Same with legion or huntress.

You've already said it yourself. Slug Billy/Oni is the biggest reason. Just slap on whichever speed add-ons give you the fastest 4-man slug and OFF YA GO! Or Feral Frenzy applying Sloppy and taking even more time to mend and heal.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1467046#Comment_1467046
Blocking Slug Billy/Oni from doing some of these crazy things does also seem like a smarter idea, and the only real change that was done for the lower ranks was the Ruin rework, but it was also ineffectual at high ranks and was helping mask other problems with the game. I do agree that Surge does need some love, but the low rank excuse doesn't hold up considering it's locked behind the Stranger Things chapter. The single most expensive chapter. Not to mention that the survivor perks from that set were also pretty weak.
Dude, calm down. First, sloppy doesn't affect the mending time. Second. The oni and billy are the only one killers that are good at slugging(actually no, nurse is great too but it doesn't change anything) and you just want to get rid of slugging? I mean would you slug on killers like pig or freddy for the whole match? I don't think so. Slugging have been nerfed recently by adding the Soul guard, back in the days it took longer to heal almost fully recovered person , and now if you pick a survivor - the life bar is literally telling other survivors , that this survivor got picked up.

No, that’s not what mean.
I’m not saying some killers have unfair M2.
I’m saying (for example) why should Dark Devotion activate when billy downs the Obsession with his Chainsaw if Clown can’t activate Dark Devotion by throwing a bottle at the Obsession?
Not every killer has an M2 that is also an attack ability. Thus I’m saying it would be unfair to give some killers 2 ways to activate those perks, when other killers are restricted to only 1 way because their M2 isn’t an attack that injures survivors.
Well throwing a bottle at survivor is a lot easier then hit him with his chainsaw, seems logical for me, even if billy have no terror radius, you still can hear his chainsaw + it gonna work 1/4 of the time without nemessis. I don't think its unfair to have a 2 chanses to activate these perks on some killers, while some killers have only 1 way, some killers don't even have m2 power that helps them to get a hit, like for now its unfair because you can just throw a game trying to activate them with your m1 attacks while you could instadown with your m2 for example.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
It means every killer can use them, and no killer gets an unfair advantage if their M2 is and offensive ability vs the killers that don’t have an offensive M2.
What killers do have an unfair m2 in your opinion?

I highly doubt that Open Handed has any effect on Knock Out, since Open Handed applies to survivor perks, not killer perks.
A similar perk for killers would not be constistant. With BBQ or Knockout, you would want a shorter range. With Nurses, Deerstalker, Hangsmans, you would want a larger range. I think a perk which increases the time the aura is shown would be more useful (but still not apllicable for some, e.g. Nurses)
But nonetheless, such a "helper" perk which doesn't do something on its own is probably a bad idea for a killer perk. It is so much more important for killers to equip the right perks, and such a perk would effectievly sacrifice one slot for slightly better aura reading perks. You could use threee aura reading perks to get the most out of your helper perk. But then you wold lack perks for gen control and finishing chases. So as long as the aura-increasing perk does not have a powerful effect on it's own, I would rate it's usefulness on par with monstrous shrine, aka totally useless and garbage.
If you don't believe me, then be sure to check dbd wiki, and yeah, it is how exactly open handed works on survivor side(he can decrease the range of knock out and increase the range of survivor aura reading perks) , so why don't we have it on the killer side? Btw the empathy just turn off knock out completely if you didn't know.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Hmm... I mean is it necessary?
Most killer aura reading has a very large range, or unlimited but just on a timer.
I thought it would be great with the new knock out since ace's perk "open handed" increases the effect from 16 meters to 24 meters(a.k.a counter to knock out) , so the killer aura increasing perk would make knock out 8 meters

If I am the last Survivor, I have no chance at opening one of the gates to escape, the longer duration isn't the problem; the lights on the switch are.
So wasting a perk slot to just prevent last survivor to escape is op? What if survivor finds the hatch first? - wasted perk, what if they do all the gens and obsession opened the gate? - wasted perk(even if not the obsession opens the gate, 16 seconds isn't too much for that type of perk), what if you just kill them before the end game? - wasted perk slot. Key? - wasted perk. The last survivor is obsession? - wasted perk slot. Btw you only getting remeber me stacks with stupid m1 attacks only

Yeah, most of Legion's add-ons are either unusable or just bad.
The only good one's imo, are the FF extending add-ons, the Broken Pin, Defaced Smiley Pin and Iridescent Pin, and the Rulers. Everything else is either broken (Frank's Mixtape or Stab Wound Study) or useless (stun decreased/Killer Instinct Range Extenders)
Why do you think Franks mixtape is broken when its literally useless and takes a half of the game to just down someone with franks, and stab wound study is literally the worst legion addon

Do the purple and green blades stack in any capacity after the whole infinite-mending thing?
I haven't wanted to try it for multiple (obvious) reasons
Together they give you only 4 seconds, so that's not really worth it
-
I think legion needs 8 seconds fatique, because right now you can just abuse their power without any skill
-
"balance"

Its only works with activated traps unfortunately.

If your basing this idea around using your power against 1 person, canceling your power and chasing that 1 person for a M1...you have a point. FORTUNATELY good legions dont do that. You use your power against EVERYONE and then start M1ing abunch of injured ppl. Its still gonna be easier to down someone if you catch them injured as Legion than if you catch them uninjured as Bubba. If your out in the open or something than yes...the chainsaw is DANGEROUS, but the moment theres a window involved that chainsaw kinda loses out on its advantage. I'm speaking as someone who played BOTH killers very regularly. I tend to swap between 5 or 6 killers with both of these guys being high on that list, lol.
So what if I find just only one survivor and hit him with my FF while other survivors are not in my terror radius? I will suffer from 4 seconds fatique and then I need to chase him as m1 killer, or if I will decide to go to farthest gen where 2-3 survivors are working on the gen I will loose a lot of my time. I will lose a lot of my time in both situations. If I find 3-4 survivors close to each other, you right, I can give them hits, but if I find 3-4 survivors close to each other as bubba - I can just chansaw one of them(since it would be a lot easier in the future) and have a lot more pressure.
-
@Peanits said:
Legion can also vault windows and pallets while in frenzy, and you can lunge while in frenzy to cover those last few feet. The Cannibal cannot do any of those while chainsawing. If someone vaults a safe enough window, you're not hitting them.
That's true, but I can run bamboozle to counter the windows, or if we talking about a regular power without perks I can try to catch them with my speed at this window, or I can wait the entity blocker and then just chainsaw them when they are running at different loop since I'm moving at almost 5.3 m.s. Even if I hit survivor in frenzy and outplay unmindgameble window without bamboozle or an entity blocker I need to chase them as m1 killer, while they may can have dead hard and its takes a lot more time(if survivor is not a potato).
-
@LordGlint said:
Legion having tracking via killer instinct, slowdown via mending and being able to pressure multiple ppl with his chain hits is an advantage. Honestly these 2 arnt exactly comparable since they both bring very different things to the table.
What's the point of it, if I'm just m1 killer at loops? Mending time is not that great since its 12 seconds now and after you use your power you get a stun when you can do anything for 4 seconds, and you get use only of 8 seconds of survivor mend time.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Why play any killer when Nurse exists? Preference. Different powers fit different play styles.
Well nurse is a lot harder to play than bubba or legion
-
@Toybasher said:
Legion can rapidly wound everyone with his timer getting refreshed when deep wounding someone + he gets killer instinct on everyone in his TR who isn't deep-wounded after he gets that first injury in Frenzy.
Bubba can one shot faster and have a lot more pressure since even mending time is not that good nowadays, survivors can just do gens and be injured for all game vs legion

Imagine slugging as Bubba

Trail of Torment is pretty good as Freddy.
Its not, lol. Survivors still can hear your lullaby in dream.

Franks mixtape+Stab wound study is the best combo on legion! You don't even neet to run perks with these addons!
-
They are still bugged and there was no hotfix yesterday
-
The Legion addons are a bit sad too, there are 4 usefull addons and the others are trash or gives you such a small boost,so you don't even notice it.
-
Of course it does, I ran the killer for almost whole game and died at the end with 12k bp, while the better player - claudette had 25k bp because she was self-caring and doing totems , insta unhooking teammates and of course not doing gens LOL.

How long have you been playing and do you still enjoy DBD,TBH this was the deciding factor for me to stop playing all together. You have your favorite horror icon and survivor I assume these are your favorite characters, so do you ever get like tired of playing Freddy or Ash.
I've been playing for around 1 year and 1 month, I still enjoy playing dbd. When I started playing dbd I haven't seen any movies with freddy, bubba, myers and pig, and that was so freaking awesome to watch a movie where the main villian is killing everyone(specially Freddy, because he's very charismatic) and play him in dbd... I just can't convey this feeling. Tbh I enjoy playing as every survivor but solo players are so annoying these days and I play survivor less and less nowadays.

Freddy and Ash main

I love this game...

-NOOO, YOU CAN'T JUST HIT ME WHEN I'M ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WINDOW, BHVR CHANGED IT!

Short answer: No antiloop while survivor is injured and luck based power.
Long answer with explanation: I don't know why do people call him mid tier killer since you don't even have a collision in fatique, so you can't block windows and survivor can just vault it when you standing in front of it. Hitting survivor with deep wound gives nothing, 4 seconds fatique(nurse have a 3 seconds fatique) for non-lethal power, can't use your power at any time so if you miss one attack, you need 24 seconds to be able to get a first hit. Btw, if people don't heal and just do gens - you playing kinda like plague, but she has her corrupt fountain so she can use it for antiloop while legion have nothing. Why I'm calling their power luck based. Sometimes you just can't hit even 2 survivors in one use of frenzy, for example if you find only one survivor at the start - you have no pressure, old legion had an option to hit nearby survivors but it was kinda like a good bonus for not tunneling right of the start while he had a lot less punishing power(for himself) with easiest antiloop in the game.

Something really weird is happening. I saw more hackers in ONE month than in one year of playing this game.
