Just because they got cosmetics for the pig approved has nothing to do with the music. The music is licensed from a totally different source. Likely will never happen.

well and all the killers whining about ghostfaces fix? in your logic these werent nerfs, but bugfixs, arent them whining for the sake of whining too?
Those were most definitely nerfs. His logic is fine, yours is flawed.

Too bad your not in australia. Conducting business with australian consumers means they need to comply with australian consumer law, and the consumer is always entitled to a refund if a product is unsatisfactory
I think that needs to be kind of different for video games, to be honest. It opens way too many doors for things like "Oh, I don't like the ending. Played the whole game, though. Refund."

Killers think shack is an infinite in 2019.. OMEGALUL. I cannot believe my eyes.
@weirdkid5 and I are both survivor mains. It's an infinite cause I can run it as an infinite. Maybe you're just not good enough to, you obviously being at rank 15.

Tokens would work. Maybe a token system the way BBQ works. Each time you hook a survivor you get a token and you lose a token once you down a survivor while NOED is active?
Yeah. You would use up a token each time you hit someone. If you had 4 tokens, you can one hit 4 survivors. Could even throw a condition in there that dictates that if the survivor is already injured, a token isn't used when you down them.

In fact, a lot of people asked for a nerf and a condition. Funny requests, some of them. A condition to noed would work. Like, with EGC on now, why would NOED activate when no to a few gens are repaired? Shouldn't it changed to "when all generators are repaired" instead of when doors are powered? Or maybe something else, IDK
I don't care if it procs during EGC, I think noed should be token based, with certain things required from the killer to get said tokens. Each token could potentially represent a one hit down for a survivor.

Unfortunately in typical behavior fashion, they make promises they can’t keep.
Im sure most of us recall them saying back when the issue started that they will give those legacies back. But as usual it’s only talk. Just like they wanted to Aid killers against swf. Just letting us down as usual. Keep in mind these are the devs that destroyed Freddy and fix him a decade later. So don’t get any hopes up.
but here have a Ghostfsce that’s underwhelming! And a DS that doesn’t get affected by enduring.
The aiding killers against SWF - they've stared doing that, to be fair.

Both sides have been asking for unnecessary nerfs (DS and NOED).
Nobody is asking for a nerf to noed. Just a condition. It should be earned, not a free win for killers who sucked all game.

How do you run shack as a killer? Also, why do you believe its an infinite? Genuinely curious
Depends. If I see an SWF in the lobby, I equip bamboozle. Otherwise, just mind game it, don't respect the pallet, moonwalk etc. It's not terribly hard.
I believe it's an infinite because it is. Even at rank 1 I've run formidable killers to the point where they just go find someone else, all at the killer shack.

@Jdsgames said:
It simply isn't possible in logic.
You can't prove they had a specific cosmetic on a specific character unlocked. Without screenshots. However, what they can do is award ALL Legacy Items to Legacy Owners.
Ie Players that Unlocked Legacy Tier I would get all the Tier I Legacy Items. This way players that earned legacy benefit as well as those who lost. Nobody is gaining legacy items that doesn't deserve it which would be a fair handle. Then I would rightfully unban those accounts that tried getting their own legacy back since they shouldn't have been handled like that in the first place.
Actually you can. By the date of when the achievement was unlocked.
-
@PhantomMask20763 said:
Yeah, i think Legacy players who lost their Legacy should be given it back, its stupid that your hard work was just thrown down the drain.
It was a lot harder to get it back then, too. Think about that.
-
Restart your game. You didn't lose a pip. It's a visual bug.
-
I think the real kicker here is, people who have earned legacy and lost it due to the buggy nature of this game have been permanently banned for altering their save to bring it back, and nothing more than than. Not hacking items, or bloodpoints. Just giving their legacy back because their save file borked or whatever happens to DBD. Yet, the answer BHVR gives always seems to be "we cannot do it at this time"...no, if people can hack it in, you guys sure as hell can restore it to people who earned it.
I don't have legacy personally, I didn't earn it; but give the people who did their cheeto dust back.

wow pipping as a survivor? nevermind, discussion over, i'm talking to a seasoned professional
i'm not getting anything from you guys other than "actually shack IS an infinite" so no, i'm not going to say anything other than i'm pretty sure you guys just suck
We've both been over it and explained why it's considered an infinite. We've given examples backed up by logic. Literally all you've done is call us "bad" and say "nuh uh!", and block us when we play spirit. Shame. For shame.

Kills trapping killers as well as huntress too at red ranks.
I'd argue that those are just risks you take playing trapping killers. Not that OoO is very common anyway. Nor will it continue to BE common when the Ghostface craze is over and everyone goes back to their mains. It's not meta and it will never be meta, so it's not a huge problem for trapping killers or huntress.

@Paladin_Goo It's not really. It's easy to mindgame, and 115% killers can catch up fairly easily, enough to hit people through the window if they try vault it.

It isn't hard to rank up as killer at all because pretty much anybody can make it to any rank by just dedicating time into the game. The only thing that makes it more difficult is when people just disconnect or certain killers who do their job too well and in return don't get enough emblems for it.
That being said, the killer shack is not an infinite and there are a few tricks you can do at the killer shack to mindgame it. Once the god pallet is gone, the shack is a death sentence. The problem is just the fact that on certain maps (such as the coldwind maps as an example) you can end up with some really disgusting setups where you have a bunch of loops that are fine on their own but way too powerful when combined.
Overall though, I'm pretty neutral on the fast vault changes because I can understand why they were made as you had people who were still able to fast vault in places where it shouldn't have been possible though at the same time I also don't like that it takes away from a skillful action that better survivors could pull off. I'd still like to see where this goes with the upcoming map reworks.
The killer shack is an infinite, though. That's the thing.
-
@AetherBytes said:
@keenko He wants DS reworked, because it keeps triggering despite having already downed/hooked another survivor.
@Paladin_Goo not really. It can punish a killer simply because of a survivor being an idiot. It might be better for it to have a 15 second timer that doesn't count down in the TR of the killer.
No. Really, 60 seconds is fine. The idea the other fellow had about making it so if someone else gets hooked during that 60 seconds the DS goes away, that could be good. But downing the timer...to 15? Are you nuts? That would just make it worthless. That's like survivors asking for a 10 second stun when they hit DS. Killers would treat that the same way they do borrowed time. It'd be dribbling all over again. I get that DS is annoying, but stop trying to nerf it into the ground. It's in a good, much less annoying place.

@miaasma yep. some people think hiding in corners and waiting until their teammates die to get the hatch is a nice thing to do.
Nobody said anything about hiding in corners. You can be stealthy and get things done. It's risky, but that's literally what the game is supposed to be from a survivor standpoint. Survivors are not supposed to be dominant in chases. Get better.

even when they're against bad killer players who think shack is an infinite? interesting take
That's because it is an infinite. It's not even debatable. No matter how many times you spout your childish "nuh uh", it will always be true.
As well - I've achieved rank 1 killer many times, which is a lot harder than rank 1 survivor. Best not talk about being "bad" at anything, kiddo. That's an argument you have zero chance of winning. A circus monkey can get to rank 1 survivor. A demented one can get to rank 1 survivor with 3 of his friends.
Speaking of bad. I think i found your steam profile. Is it you that wrote "if you play spirit i probably blocked you"?
-
The fact is, the survivor should NEVER, EVER have the upper hand in a chase. When the killer knows where they are, they should always be in grave danger. That's what the game is supposed to be.

can't really take anything on this forum seriously anymore knowing how many people genuinely believe that shack is an infinite to be honest
it does contextualize a lot of these people's posts on other topics though
It really is an infinite though. People here, myself included have given you multiple reasons why, when you just continue to say "nuh uh, no it's not".
Adapt, get better. Life without infinites will take actual skill, but you can do it. Well, probably.
-
They are only bad for survivors who abused infinites before. Now there's a limit to how much they can abuse them. Get better.
@miaasma said:

I feel like they need to go back to that. Since it's so ridiculously easy to pip as a survivor these days.

The only major changes to Claudette's clothes were to prevent Blendetting, which everyone hates. Those had a reason. The others do not.

It's not object that needs nerfing. It's stealth killers (or rather, killers with no terror radius) that need to be made not to show on OoO. Myers, Pig (crouching) and Ghostface (in stealth mode).

Uhm, thinks they changed them to improve them, like Quentins face and giving more detail, it was more a positive thing then a negative thing, it's just hair they tried to make look better, not like they shaved the hair off and made them all bald.
Again, "improve" is purely subjective and your argument is irrelevant. They sell cosmetics based ENTIRELY, UNEQUIVOCALLY on what they look like. People buy them cause of how they look; because of that, they should be not changed. Period, end of story.
-
I kind of agree with this. It's so easy to get an adept survivor. No requirements other than escape. You don't even have to do gens, totems, evade etc. You just have to make it out somehow. To get an adept killer, you basically have to blow the entity.
-
@Carpemortum said:

Nerfs? Killers? Two very biased words.
But yes its different.
A cosmetic does not affect the gameplay mechanics and is sold PURELY for the look.
Balance changes are for the game state.
Exactly. If killers were all clones of one entity with the same ability, then it would be the same, but they aren't. They are unique, and directly effect the gameplay. Cosmetics however...exist soley to customize how your character looks, and should not be changed.
@Mushwin said:
They nerfed Legion, is my oint, the point been Legion was a paid Killer and was nerfed, and if it didn't affect the game play they wouldn't of nerfed Claudettes clothing, but they did becasuse of people complaining of her been a blednette. Of course nerfs affect the game play, Killers do in how they are nerfed and so are perks.
Legion was a broken killer. He needed a reevaluation. Did they overnerf him? Maybe, but a nerf needed to happen.
And we're not talking about Blendette's clothing. We're talking about cosmetics that were changed for no reason other than "why the hell not?".
-
I cant see any way to get the killer other than using actual, real, money... if so, This is the fist step in the Pay to Play direction.
You must be new.
-
Gets knocked out of stealth from pallets, detection range increased for survivors to break him out easier and weakened his add-ons.
Now - I'm not saying these nerfs were needed, but you're blowing these minute changes out of proportion. You are broken out of stealth, or supposed to be, when a survivor sees you. If they stun you in any way, they have definitely seen you.
As for the detection range, honestly, it was extremely inconsistent and needed to be tweaked anyway. I've had survivors stare right at me, middle of their screen, and from a couple meters away, and not be able to break me out.
That all being said, these changes weren't really necessary. Even if Ghosty stalks you to exposed, he's still just a loopable M1 killer. He's fun to mess around with but even in his current state I don't see why I would use him over Billy at high ranks. I'm survivor rank 4 right now and I'd say the amount of times I've been in a game where Ghostface gets more than a 3k is literally 40%.
-
@NoShinyPony said:
Why should it count as protection if the survivor is hooked?
This exactly. What are you protecting them from? Being hooked? Cause really you're just risking the chance of them being tunneled off hook. Get good and take the hit for them AFTER they are unhooked instead of bum rushing to the hook right in front of the killer.
-
@Mushwin said:
The hairs look fantastic, quit complaining about something that looks great! fair enough the clothes we buy and have bought are not the shades we want, but the devs did a great effort on the hair, do we have to really nit pick this much? the hair does look a lot better
What does and doesn't look great is purely subjective. The argument isn't whether or not it looks great. The argument is whether or not they should be taking money, selling something based entirely on it's look, and then changing the look after sale.
-
@Dehitay said:
If you liked them because they made survivors near invisible, then you liked them for the wrong reason. If you liked them cause of how they looked, then why would you want them to be nearly invisible if you want to look at them?
It's not just those. They changes things like Meg's bright red long hair as well.
-
I kind of agree with this. If you're going to sell cosmetics, they shouldn't change after sale. Make new ones if you want them to look different.

Yes. Some of us actually want to rank up and play with other players on our level.
Rank doesn't dictate skill these days, bud. Often times people good enough to be in red ranks sit in purple and green ranks. Why? Not necessarily to be gods, but more to have killer variety beyond nurse/billy/spirit.

3 or 5 seconds. Would like 5 too tbh :D that way it will actually punish tunnelers and not fair killers
The thing is, it's not always tunneling. If you get unhooked, and you and your savior both scatter away from the hook, and the killer has to pick between 2 different sets of scratch marks going in 2 different directions, and happens to pick the person he just unhooked...is that tunneling? The answer is no.
