Not giving credit for protection hits before unhooking. I hope this is a bug and not an actual decision to nerf this perk.

    This exactly. What are you protecting them from? Being hooked? Cause really you're just risking the chance of them being tunneled off hook. Get good and take the hit for them AFTER they are unhooked instead of bum rushing to the hook right in front of the killer.

    And someone is much better off getting tunneled than hitting phase 2 or dying just because a killer is camping.

    "Each time you perform a Safe Hook Rescue or take a hit to protect a Survivor, gain a 25 % stackable bonus to all Bloodpoint gains up to a maximum of 50/75/100 %."

    Regarding unhooking it counts only on safe unhooks, they changed that some while ago. So either it wasn't a safe unhook or BT doesn't count for that. But could just be a visual bug because BBQ has that too atm.

    They've definitely been safe unhooks.

    I'm hoping it's a visual bug.

    It has been working well on my end. I also use BT.
