well they are trying to improve chases for killer. its just that 10% pallet breaking speed is not doing a whole lot against experienced loopers. ideally killers shouldn't be breaking pallets in first place. they should be winning pallets using their ability. if the killer is designed to break pallets to win the game, then killer better be breaking pallets at record speeds. on-hit does weaken med-kits and endurence(second chance) perks for non-mobile/non-instant down but only if the killer uses Myer's perk.

chases are improving but it would be more useful if killer power's were stronger instead.

One of the purposes of DLC in DBD is to fix problems with perks as bandaids.

Clown gave killers Bamboozle even though he doesn't really need that perk at all due to his vault mechanic. Instead of fixing the possibility of unfair tiles we get that perk instead.

Instead of addressing the problem of gen speeds vs chases at high level play (which is the root cause of camping) they gave survivors an abusive anti camping perk.

It sounds like youre both insisting that they should change the game mechanics to give you a competitive edge over players who have spent considerable time and effort becoming more skilled than you.

  • No, im not as interested in this game anymore since the 6.1 patch. Besides theres already like a million perks on killer, i dont really need any more. And the survivor perks are all useless anyway so why bother spending money on any if it AND have to grind to unlock it all afterwards?

  • @ThatOneDemoPlayer said:

Zombies are already really bad, let them do something that isn't just situational information gathering

So the free gen pressure and anti-loop they provide isnt enough? Sad.

  • I stopped playing it. Once every other week i hop on to play with my friends but then Im quickly reminded of why I stopped playing and take another 2 week long break, minimum.

I have different friends who each have their own game they play to the exclusion of anything else. One group of friends plays dbd, another Fortnite and so on. No matter how crappy the experience can get some people just arent interested in moving on or trying something new because theyve already sunk a bunch of time into learning the mechanics of one game and already have a bunch of money invested in dlcs and cosmetics for that one game.

I play a lot of different games but no one i know seems to want to break their routines.

I thought dbd was fun before the patch, but in small doses, like a few matches a day tops. I thought the dead hard nerf would be the final change to make killer mains feel satisfied and like the game was fair. I didn't really care even though it was my favorite perk because i figured id just find a different build and get used to it. But then they released these patch notes nerfing ds again with all if these base kit killer buffs and 90 second gens. I was expecting all the survivor perks to change but all those basekit buffs killers got were pure BS.

Its like bhvr were like "you know what f it. Lets make all the changes to cater to killers that address everything theyve ever whined about ever and see if they still whine on the forums afterwards" . And here we are in 2022 with killer mains complaining about prove thyself and toolboxes while they run 4 slowdowns.

I refuse to play this game or buy anything for it until they patch out the mistakes they made in 6.1. I just come here from time to time to remember why i quit whenever my friends start a party chat to play dbd, and to see if anyone has found any consistently strong survivor builds, but so far none have.

  • I mean the fact that you can find tons of different killer streamers who post videos about 50 or even 100 win streak games on a variety of or all killers meanwhile the only survivor to ever post a long win streak was noob3 at like a 50+ win streak should say enough.

Dowsey did this video on the greatest moments in dbd and they were all killer win streaks with an honorable mention to noob at the end lol

Game's always favored killer but now its just easier than ever.

I remember sweating my balls off for a 4k back in 2020, now its straight up boring how easy it is.

  • Pain res, thana, dead mans switch, jolt, merciless storm, deadlock, corrupt intervention, ruin, undying.

Devour hope is also super annoying against killers that just proxy outside the 24 meters and get hook trades and tokens.

  • Youre right, they should make it a game mechanic where if a survivor tries to do a gen by themselves it gets blocked off so theyre forced to work on them together to compensate for you. Sounds perfectly fair and reasonable imo

  • So you got buffed chase potential (lower cooldowns on breaking pallets and pallet stuns, less time survivors get to sprint away after a hit, decreased timer on bloodlust) all survivor meta got nerfed to the ground, increased gen times by 12.5% per gen and you can still stack 4 slowdown perks if you want and youre complaining about prove thyself???

How about they add one extra gen and survivors start the match on the hook? Will that help?

  • Yeah I think so but 3ks shouldn't take as much serious effort and 2ks should be your average regardless of your strategy or killer. So for average/chill killers 2ks should be normal or frequent, and for good killers a 3k should be more frequent, and for sweaty competitive streamer killers with thousands of followers 4ks should be the most frequent outcome.

I was watching one of Sledge's videos talking about asyym balance (he streams Evil Dead) and he made some really good points. In an asymm, balance-wise, the 4 part of the 4v1 should be the ones that win if they all play perfectly. If you have both sides playing perfectly then it really should be the team of 4 that win, whether that means a victory in evil dead or a 3-4 escape in dbd. If both sides play perfectly and the killer/demon wins then it's a sign of gameplay imbalance skewed towards the killer. Part of the reasoning is that it takes far more skill to keep a team of 4 people perfectly coordinated (comms or not) whereas for the killer/demon they only have to worry about their own gameplay and mistakes and communication isn't an issue at all.

I think dbd was already pretty killer-sided pre 6.1.0. There's so many killer main streamers and just regular players who would get really high win streaks. I think the real issue was killes getting frustrated by how much more difficult their games were getting as they won more. The two roles have opposite learning curves. ie a baby survivor has a super hard time with tons of stuff to learn before they can start seeing their win rate improve but after they've put in time (like a ton of time) the game starts getting better winrate-wise whereas with killer they start out having a major advantage and with easy high winrates that dont require much skill but as time goes on they get to s point where suddenly they need to start mastering a ton of skills. Killers like to complain on this forum and elsewhere but despite their complaints I know most of them still win on average 50-65% of their matches. It's just that it's very challenging to consistently do that. Rather than look at their own skill as the issue as to why its so difficult many of them blame a game mechanic. Not long ago there were killers on this forum complaining about survivors being able to run without getting tired lol like yeah, let's add a stamina bar lmao The truth is that survivor is extremely hard at first and gets easier as you master tons of skills, and killer is super easy at first but gets harder.

I think killers should have a fair chance, FAIR chance, at 2king against survivors who play perfectly in every way, but in no way should they be able to comfortably 3 or 4k against those groups unless the survivors make a mistake that plays to the killers favor.

  • At high killer mmr you need to be good at chase, like all the things you listed that you started working on (moonwalking, situational awareness, how to run each of the map tiles based off your killer etc) but you should take a break for a day or two if you've been playing nonstop killer.

I found that (pre 6.1.0 patch) I would get mentally exhausted from looping mindgames as killer after playing it too much and so my winrate would go down because I'd know what I needed to do to win a chase but mentally I was too burned out to focus that hard.

You should also know when to change up your build. Any time I went into a match without a clear strategy for my killer power and build and addons Id do poorly. The same build will start to get old and eventually you start getting survivors who have caught on to whatever build you've been using. It's like the entity knows you've been using the same build or strategy for a while and sends you survivors who know how to counter it well lol Try different fun perk synergies out every once in a while. I used to main lots of different killers and I had different builds for each I'd swap out every once and a while.

I'm high mmr but low sweat, if that makes sense. It's not very rewarding to me personally to sweat it out for a 4k. I'm usually fine with a 2-3k because honestly 4ks arent super rewarding mmr-wise either. Like, why sweat your *** off so the mmr will give you an even sweatier match next time? I spent almost a year in that 4k mindset until I got burned out. But that's just my take. People will play how they want. Whatever.

  • I view the forums as a litmus test for what state the game is in. Forum helps me determine if it's bearable to play or not before reinstalling between breaks lol

If you're getting killed with only a thousand BP from a Tombstone Myers, at least two people on your team fed him like crazy because to get to T3 Myers with Tombstone, I think it takes two survivors to be fully sapped on Stalker Juice plus a fuzz of Stalker Juice from a third player (or maybe when I've gotten TBM, I didn't sap every last drop out of the two players I stalked and it does only take two people).

It's amazing how many survivors like to sit there and have a staring contest with Myers...

I think addons can have a significant impact on how much he needs to stalk, for sure.

It still sucks when you're not the person who fed him. I had a match like that where my teammate kited him to me and I was the one who got mori'd 1 or 2 gens into the match with only a few thousand points because they fed him to t3 apparently. He had the purple tombstone piece so he didn't need much juice.

For new players it probably sucks even more because the only way to know he has that addon is his posture while in t3. There's no icon that says you're able to be mori'd.

AFAIK it means they've been banned?

Okay, I've been seeing more of those lately haha good to know, thanks!

  • I'll never deflect the fact that I used dead hard every single match. It was a great perk. What made it great was that you could trigger it when you wanted to and it gave you a tiny bit of distance, because as much as crybaby killer mains want to convince you otherwise it's not easy to string together loops between tiles on the maps because the devs haven't historically been great at designing map tiles and because they spawn randomly aside from a few fixed structures in the map. Killers act like the map is designed so that a survivor can easily string together different tiles anywhere at all times but thats just not the reality. These maps are made by the same devs who didn't realize they had inadvertently created infinite loops on several of them and then had to go and patch those out. They're human and don't make perfect stuff but you have killers who seem to think they devised that on purpose.

I've seen streamers who somehow magically get map tiles that all spawn within distance of each other where you don't need to use an exhaustion perk to string them together but for people with less than 200 people in chat on their streams the tiles seem to spawn like they do for everyone else. Randomly. And sometimes you only get one pair that spawn close enough to each other to string them together without any kind of perk to help. Then your rando drops the strong pallet in one of them and you can't string them together anymore.

You could literally give me an exhaustion perk that only nudges me forward 2-3 feet but if I could use it when I want it to instead of being based off some obscure niche situation I could extend a chase for like 4 gens because most killers don't bother learning how to run map tiles.

I've ran killers for 2-3 gens before mostly just by running around the same pallet loop because they won't break the pallet when it's a strong loop. They literally just keep trying to chase me in circles and double back on it. You can't do that now because they bloodlust faster. So rather than expectin gthe killer to learn that they need to break the pallet on certain loops now they can just hold w until they catch up to you and get a free hit.

They could have gotten rid of the iframes and just made it a distance only perk and it would have been perfect. Or they could have nerfed it as they did and made one of the other exhaustion perks worth running but they didn't.

I'm really good at killer. I mained every single killer at some point with the exception of the two latest ones. I got bored with it but I learned how to run the map tiles, how to mind game, and how to moonwalk. I even taught a few killers how to moonwalk and mindgame loops while using their chainsaw as bubba. A lot of people didn't think you could even do that.

People want to try and shame people for using dead hard and I say thats BS. DH isnt the problem, your chase skills are weak.

But I can win either way, by camping and tunneling or playing like Otz. Killer dependent, of course. I just CHOOSE to face camp because that is what makes ME happy. I do not sweat at all, I actually am usually playing Fate Grand Order while I do it. Extremely easy. Once I was eating ice cream WHILE responding to a salty survivor who messaged me on PSN and still got a 4k. If that is not skill, I so not know what is...

I can win with trapper with no perks or addons or offerings and without interacting with a single survivor until 4 gens have been done.

I just take every single trap and place them all in one undisclosed location and then wait in said location. They all come to me like moths to a flame wondering if I'm AFK and one by one succumb to my oddly effective trap placement. Try and one up that!

Well said. Killers must expect 4k every game to consider it a win. I consider 2k a win when I play killer. Although its been 4k almost every match right now.

    Finally, someone cultured! Thank you!

  • I bought the chicken clown cosmetic solely for the joy it brings me to farm with survivors in it because it's a wonderful pun. I literally play chicken clown with no perks and just the party bottle addon and only go for direct hits on them with the yellow bottles. It makes me happy. I've odne it for years. I also play every PTB as said chicken clown to meme on twitch players. These things make me happy.

I refuse to quit because the devs are only interested in listening to balancing advice from sweat lord killer mains who wake up every morning and look themselves in the mirror and say to themselves "you HAVE to tunnel and camp to win!"

You dont have to tunnel and camp to win. If you do you just suck at the game. Also, you dont have to win every game. You dont have to play to win. You can play to have fun. Remember fun, Jimmy? You used to love having fun.

  • But then you're bringing 4 perks to counter something that takes zero effort from the killer plus it doesnt change slower gen speeds and overall more efficient killers in chase since they got buffed.

  • @Gamall said:

The sad side of this game is that if you want to achieve a victory as a killer (at high MMR) you necessarily have to camper and tunnel, otherwise you have to work twice as hard and you don't always succeed.

Some people even achieve streaks of 80-90 wins with camp and tunnel, I personally took 34 victory and 7 ties.

So you have to choice between a secure victory or an almost certain defeat if you play killer. The problem is that in soloq and at low levels it is a terrifying experience if you play survivor because you have literally no countermeasures and no helps.

The myth that you have to camp and tunnel to win is a lie. You have to get good just like survivors do. Killers act like survivor is this cakewalk but no one takes into consideration you have to master so much mechanical skill, memorize counters to dozens of different killers and their addons and perks, and memorize a couple dozen different maps and their common tile spawns and how to play them correctly. It's a high skill ceiling and it turns most people off from the game.

Killer used to be the same way. You had to learn to master your power and abilities, memorize map tiles and how to run them, learn how to keep track of survivors whereabouts and activities across the map, how to mind game at loops and when not to, how to moonwalk and hide your red stain. You had to learn how to cleverly synergize perks and addons.

Killers who say you have to camp and tunnel just want easy wins and have no interest in mastering any skill. Killers who say that depending on the context it makes sense to occasionally tunnel/camp are the ogs who know how to play or at least have some level of interest in becoming good.

  • Hey I might have been playing with you during that nemmy match on the game! I was a scoopy steve!

Yeah that nemesis straight up camped from the first hook and tunneled everyone the whole game! Like not even proxy camping just straight up laid down some tent stakes and a bedroll lol

man that sucked. Im quitting the game too. I just keep coming here to make sure it's not just me and with the hope I'll eventually start seeing killers crying about something on a thread so I can have some glimmer of hope that theres something, anything, that's strong against them now. But then again killers will complain about anything so its hard to sus out anything legit.

Like I've seen some bad patches in this game but this was like "Wow" bad lol

  • No its pure garbage.

I assure you the killer is cackling with delight at the stupid animation you get locked into right before they down you after easily waiting it out.

  • iT's A lEgIt StRaTeGy

  • All my rage quitters have been rage quitting when a killer with 3-4 slow down perks who camps at 5 gens has one of us dead at 2-5 gens so we've effectively lost anyways. I've had too many games where we get down to 2-3 gens and then it just becomes a complete stalemate on any gen progress until one survivor finally dies and then its purely hopeless.

You don't know if those rage quitters had already had several matches like that.

    I don't encourage it but I understand.

  • Because they don't want to mention that not only was dh nerfed but killers were made stronger in chase AND gen speeds got increased AND all the other survivor perks got changed into being even more situational and borderline useless.

I can loop without DH just fine. Looping without a reliable perk to help in chases AND having the killer literally faster at everything in chase AND making the main objective take longer while none of the killer meta got significantly reworked to balance any of that? Yeah let's pretend that even makes sense.

Im sorry but SB, lithe and balanced are garbage. Boons also got nerfed in this patch because gens take longer so the 14 seconds to bless a totem are really only giving a killer free gen pressure.

At this point you might as well play without any perks, there's no perk or combo of perks that are going to help in any way reliably.

  • @Seraphor said:

Survivors having a tantrum over losing DS and DH.

As someone who never used those perks anyway, my experience has barely changed, and at least the survivor queues are decent. Working my way through the survivor tome challenges now and it's no different from before besides slightly slower gens, which is mostly due to survivors refusing to actually do them!

I've encountered no campers, maybe the odd tunnel (on Spirit tried to tunnel me but failed), a few Thana's but no Legion or Plague yet. The patch has no drastically altered the game, it's still 99% the same as it was before, except now you can't artificially extend chases with DH for distance. Boo hoo.

Just adjust and adapt, go back to playing normally. Fed up of other survivors ruining the game for the rest of the team, and now it's grown to a scale that it's screwing with queues and matchmaking too. Get over yourselves.

They didnt just nerf dh and ds dude. They also gave killers increased gen time, faster cooldowns on m1 and pallet breaks, faster activation of bloodlust, and decreased distance for survivors after being hit. Killer is literal easy mode now.

Did you read what I posted? I literally said in that same paragraph that the reverse could happen now (killer players getting carried by the current status quo to a level not equal to their skill level).

It's almost as if people on this board hear what they want to hear and filter everything else out.

I didnt finish reading, ive just seen so many posts of people saying sUrViVoRs WeRe BeInG cArRiEd By PeRkS im just in full warpath mode.

But yeah they definitely are being carried hard right now (killers). If they wait the typical 3 months to 3 years that it takes for them to make balance changes their might not be much of a playerbase left and yes many killers would be in for a rude awakening. It would literally take one reasonably decent survivor perk to make them all cry that survivors are op again at this point.

Im guessing they plan to release a single such perk with the next chapter to help increase sales but i doubt many people will come back or stick around if they wait that long.

    That's interesting data, if accurate.

I always thought that as the skill level of the players involved got better, the game tilted more to the survivor side (i.e. if all players are beginners, the killer is likely dominating, whereas at high levels of play with coordinated teams/SWF's/outstanding solos, the survivors were likely dominating more often than not). With killers presumably doing very well at lower levels of play (and potentially having kill rates far higher than that 49% rate at those lower levels, leaving higher levels of play with even lower kill rates), it's understandable why changes were made if that kill rate WAS less than 50% across the board. The percentage you stated that might represent post-update numbers would seem higher than would be preferable, but I would be curious how that's being accrued across different MMR levels (i.e. are the "better' players having less trouble than their less "skilled" counterparts at survivor, and vice-versa for killer players?).

For the record, while I thought the game tilted in survivor players' favor prior to this update, I probably was in the minority in thinking it wasn't as far off from being balanced as I've seen a lot of people claim the game was. As of now, it feels like that gap was definitely bridged with this update -- how much that may or may not have pushed the game into "killer-sided" range remains to be seen over longer than just a couple of days we've had to draw conclusions thus far (my survivor experience and killer experience, frankly, hasn't been too much different than what it was prior to the update, just with minor differences, though those are only my experiences with it so far).

One could argue that a lot of survivor players were being hard-carried by either SWF pairings or perks (or both) to MMR ratings their skill didn't equate to -- this update could see the reverse occur, with a lot of killer players who might have the same thing happen to them now (which, if any tweaks are made in the future, could lead to some unpleasant matchmaking on their end).

You could argue that a lot of survivor players were being carried by perks or swf but then you wouldnt be taking into account the base kit buffs to killers like longer gen speeds, faster cooldowns on m1 and pallet breaking, faster activation of bloodlust, and decreased distance for survivors after being hit.

  • If you havent noticed these forums and the subreddit are very killer sided. They make up the minority of the playerbase but theyre the most vocal on the online part of the community and theyve historically made the forums pretty unwelcoming to other players.

Tbf like two years ago the game was heavily balanced towards survivor with the old DS and old keys/hatch, old maps with infinite loops but with each patch over the last 2-4 years theyve consistently given qol updates for killers.

Its gotten to a point where they need to stop catering to the minority of the playerbase because its simply bad business to alienate and piss off 70% of your customers.

Probably 70-80% of killers just want ez 4ks. For them a 2k is not a desirable outcome at all. Even a 3k isnt good enough for them. Many of them dont ever consider that they lost because they didnt play skillfully or because their strategy was poor. Its always going to be something in the mechanics of the game that needs to be addressed, not their own lack of skill.

Theres definitely sweaty survivor players but by far killers make up the majority of players who take the competitive aspect of the game far too seriously. Which is why a lot of survivors for a long time really didnt care about the incremental changes that were happening to buff killers and nerf survivors. The power creep has been slowly been going on for years but now its super obvious that the devs are only listening to that highly vocal minority to the exclusion of anything else. Mostly because theyre super toxic.

  • Just uninstall and play something else. Evil dead is more difficult as survivor in the way that games like elden ring are difficult but its definitely more balanced than this crap if you're looking for an asymm horror game.

In a 4v1 it takes more survivors to make a lobby than killers so any balance towards killers is really going to drive up their queue times more noticeably.

They cant continue to cater to the minority of players (killers) and expect a good return on dlc/cosmetic/rift pass sales. Give this patch time and $$$ will talk. Guaranteed.

  • Yep, they literally removed the only reliable (as in not just situational to the point of useless) survivor perk and the only perk that could extend chases and nerfed everything else into uselessness too. Even perks that may have been promising are garbage with how much they nerfed objective times and buffed killers.

Now you need to run 3-4 perks to get the the same value as having no perks at all before the patch.

Ive also uninstalled until they fix this garbage.

  • Still too survivor sided. Survivors need to spawn on hooks at the start of the match.

Survivors who dont like it can run slippery meat and/or play a luck offering.

  • There isn't from what I can tell. it used to be that 90% of survivor perks were purely situational. Now all of them are. The bonus you get from any perk or perk combos including boons only makes up for nerfs to survivors by a tiny fraction. Playing with perks now is like playing with no perks at all pre-patch.

Try a hatch/stealth build and hope you get hatch.

  • The best thing to do for now is uninstall and play something else.

  • They nerfed a perk that required literally one brain cell to counter.

Everyone used it because it was the only perk that could reliably extend chases.

Now theyve gutted it, nerfed survivors so they have no meta whatsoever and buffed killers across the board in chase and buffed camping and tunneling.

The new dh is garbage and so is just about every single survivor perk.

  • By patch 7.0 all survivors will spawn into the match on hooks. The game will progress only if one or more of them manages to 4% kobe off hook. Otherwise killer wins with 50k bps and survivors get a dc penalty afterwards.

If they manage to kobe none of their perks activate until everyone is off hook.

    Gens take 120 seconds base.

  • I predicted that stealth gen rushing would become the new meta since the patch discourages any interaction between killer and survivor.

Sounds like a snoozefest imo id rather play Fortnite

  • Its one of many crutch perks killers have.

Watch them cry for you even suggesting its a crutch.

  • I think it's useless.

It's not that tunneling or camping is being discouraged by the BT basekit, hardly the case at all, but so many other areas for survivor got gutted (chase potential, objective time) that it's better to focus on compensating in other areas where survivors got nerfed. Honestly the meta looks like just bring a gen rush build and hope for the best. There's nothing that really helps extend chase anymore and just getting all the gens done is a herculean task so gen rushing is really the only way to get an off chance of at least one person escaping.

There's zero incentive now for killers and survivors to interact so I'm guessing stealth builds with some gen rushing is going to be the new meta.

There's tons of perks that counter other perks in this game. That's how perks work.

there is nowhere in add-on that says you need crouch or stand-up. marking takes 5 seconds when not leaning and 2.5 seconds while leaning by default. the add-on reduces it to 4 seconds and 2 seconds respectively. not a bug. it is that fast.

I never said that about the addon.

  • @Crowman said:

Crouching has nothing to do with his mark speed. Leaning doubles the speed that Ghostface stalks from which turns 5 seconds of non-leaning into 2.5 seconds of leaning.

When I play killer I 100% know when a survivor is nearby and ready with a flashy. You'll pretty much always hear their footsteps in the distance as they position themselves for the save. You need to learn to sus them out and get them injured before attempting to pick up. If you know how to listen for which direction the flashy person is coming from you'll know how to angle yourself towards a wall to prevent the save. 9/10 times even if they manage to start the blind while you're picking up, unless they have the positioning and timing perfect 100% then you can disrupt it by holding up to look up while in the pickup animation and you'll look up and disrupt the blind before it can take full effect.

Yes, survivors can blind through walls with openings in them, even tiny ones. The killer shack isn't a safe wall to pick up facing. Deathslinger can shoot through the tiny cracks in the wall and hit survivors, trickster can hit survivors through them with his knives, and gf and myers can stalk through them. And that's not just shack walls, that's any wall that has a crack in it. You need to learn the map tiles. Survivors have to deal with BS from this stuff too, not just salty killers.

  • Yeah, I agree. Since they nerfed keys and nerfed the hatch if the killer closes the hatch and you're the last survivor left there's basically no point in trying to get a gate open, especially with no way out.

If they're not going to nerf no way out they should just make it so if the killer closes the hatch and you're the last survivor left then you just die right when the hatch gets closed. Then killers are happy because they get their easy 4k and you don't have to deal with any bs waste of time and can move on to the next match.

  • You need to know which map tiles to not even bother using the saw because some are enclosed walls with a narrow passage that leads to a pallet and on the other side have a vault. For those you need to know how to mind game and anticipate the survivors movements. It helps to know how to moonwalk around tiles to hide your red stain and mind game them.

Otherwise someone else mentioned using the saw to zone survivors, essentially forcing them to drop pallets or risk going down instantly to the saw. You also need to learn the timing for when a survivor can pallet stun you while youre running with the saw into a pallet loop. If you learn their movements you can let go of the joystick/w key at the right moment and instead of getting stunned youll saw the pallet. Good survivors know how to pallet stun LF when hes charging with the saw and they'll be taken by surprise if you know how to counter it.

Once you get the hang of mind gaming loops you can start to moonwalk to hid your red stain during a chainsaw sweep and keep the charges going and trick survivors into running right into you around loops and certain map tiles.

Once you get good with bubba you'll realize you don't really ever need to camp or tunnel with him, he can end chases faster than almost any other killer in the right hands.

The only perk that's necessary on him is bamboozle, for ending chases in the killer shack rapidly. If they go to shack, stay on their tail until they use the vault window, then follow and bamboozle will close it off. Stay on their tail. If they go for the side with the pallet you can charge the saw and force them to drop it, allowing you to destroy the god pallet quickly, or if they get greedy and go for the side without the pallet just start charging the saw right away and you get a sure insta-down.

  • Yeah it's super annoying because survivors have like 4 perks out of 107 that are on par with the ones on that list. 90% of survivor perks are just meme perks with extremely limited potential to set back the killer's main objective.
