This 100%
Go back to threads about last year aniversy and its people being like "just don't play it its a event mode" Moment it switches to being more survivor sided "WAH the devs are always catering to the survivor side while ignoring the killer role, how could the devs do this" while as survivors where told last year " just don't play the event"
You mean to tell me they made a unbalanced anniversary like they have last few years? Shocking
Only difference is its not the killer role benefiting.Actually basically every Killer main myself included wanted BHVR to remove the pallet break because it made chase unfun. But we also wanted them to maybe remove Party Pallets from being able to save since that was really obnoxious with even a 2 player combo.
There were some Killers who said things like this but honestly mostly everyone knew that it was a problem. I think the main thing though as well is that at least both sides got powers to play with, even if the Killer one was just objectively better. In this event Killers have basically nothing to do other than poison carts every once in a while. -
@GS117 said:
With the 10th anniversary event officially being out, it’s undeniable now. The game is survivor sided. Just from the fact of how they designed the event cements this as truth. Even just by reading the description, the event feels like the developers were sitting in a creative room, making up this amazing event, giving survivors all these amazing abilities to turn invisible and teleport and take a free hits and some intern went “hang on a second, what about killers?” and the room went silent as they all looked at each other, scratching their heads, and some guy just went “uhh idk give em poison or something”. I mean this event is just a spit in the face to killers. If the biggest event to celebrate the game being out for a DECADE is designed with nothing for killers in mind, what more proof do you need?
The game is not but the event very much is.

Well the poison bottle is useful to make survivors to stop moving almost entirely and you can throw that sucker half a map.
You should really try using the damn thing, it's impossible to control. Unless it's just bugged for me it's a super hard turn and genuinely impossible to use. Also it goes away during Dessert.
EDIT: Nvm someone told me I must have turn left bound to Q lmao -

Nice one Bhvr, I can't believe this actually got through the PTB.
I've expressed an opinion on this subject already, stating that the argument is to be made that it's a healthy change for the game, which is still technically true. However, it's not healthy in the sense of what DbD has been saying they're trying to do with the perk situation.
In this one update Bhvr have single handedly killed any & all potential build variety, they've destroyed not only the strong perks but made the weaker perks EVEN WORSE! Other than general speeds for survivors & haste for killers I don't think anything needed altering in this way, for anyone who says healing if you're a dedicated medic or just healing yourself fast you're not contributing to the gen speeds you're also likely to be more altruistic which is good for survivors. I'm not arguing on either side, it affects the part of the game which in my opinion needed encouragement not a reason to neglect certain perks instead. Killers will still get to stack regression perks & keep locking off gems, survivors however only have any form of strength in perks once they stack effects. So this overall nerfed survivors more than killers. That's just a fact.
I don't care which side got hit worse though I see which side benefits more but both sides lose in the worst regard. Build crafting is now redundant, build potential doesn't exist. Thanks to this update Bhvr (despite saying prior they wanted to make older or other perks more relevant) have made META ONLY a thing now.
You have no reason to use the lower end perks because there's just inherently better options. There's no reason to make a build to get insane speed on something because the effects are useless after 2 perks. Crazy numbers or funny stats are gone, just run the meta like everyone else. Same perks from every survivor & killer every game, annoying the hell out of each other & that's it.
There was a better, safer, healthier way to make this change. It also maybe could've & should've only affected certain variables. Not like this. Not only is it complicated & needlessly complex, it's hurting the game more than helping it at this point. I can't be the only one who understands that.
Yeah I agree, I think it has completely ruined any sort of fun builds you could do. I really hope they revert this change.
-
Yeah I don't really like the new voice tbh. His old one was iconic removing it was a very poor choice imo.
-
Also people HATE playing against both, so according to BHVR's own logic with Skull Merchant Ghoul should be nerfed into the dirt.

It requires thought and deliberation, unlike the old sh*t a drone and get some effects.
But… it doesn't… now all you do is recall a drone and instantly set it back up. It's tedious, that's all it is.
-
@AlwaysInAGoodShape said:
The undetectable drone on recall was an expert decision, and has added a lot of depth and strategy to her kit. I'm really glad that added it that way, but yes, newer Skull Merchants will need time to fully understand how powerful and strategic it is when used right
I have mained Skull Merchant since she released and I've been P100 for over a year. It's just a bad mechanic that makes her tedious and makes her actual setup playstyle a lot worse.

Half of the morons on here literally were in favor of it and if you give BHVR and inch of positive reception on a dogshit update they will push it through same thing happened with clown horrible update but some people who never played clown in their life said they liked it and it went through even though reverting it would be just number changes
Honestly a good point, I forgot about the terrible Clown changes since I didn't play during it.

I’d like to start a discussion about communication in Dead by Daylight.
Some people suggest adding full voice comms. I don’t agree with that. Full map-wide communication would fundamentally change balance and likely overbuff coordinated teams.
However, I do think the game would benefit from proximity voice chat.
Why proximity instead of full comms?
1️⃣ It helps solo queue without breaking balance
Communication would only be possible when survivors are physically near each other. That reduces the solo queue information gap without giving global awareness.2️⃣ It fits the horror theme
Survivors close together can whisper. Survivors across the map shouldn’t communicate telepathically. Proximity chat is more immersive and realistic than full comms.3️⃣ Killers should hear it too
If survivors talk near the killer, the killer hears them. That adds risk and strategy. Communication becomes a tradeoff, not a free advantage.4️⃣ It increases tension instead of reducing it
Hearing survivors panic nearby or trying to stay quiet to avoid detection would enhance the horror atmosphere rather than remove it.5️⃣ It doesn’t replace Discord
Coordinated SWFs will still use Discord. But most matches aren’t coordinated. Casual solo players shouldn’t have to join external voice platforms just to have basic teamwork.Right now, the gap between coordinated teams and solo queue creates inconsistent balance. Proximity chat could narrow that gap without overcorrecting.
Curious to hear both killer and survivor perspectives.
I don't want either
-
They don't need to change how Hatch works, they just need to make the achievements a 3k since that's a win for the Killer. Demanding a 4k is either A: requires you to slug which isn't fun or B: hope RNG is on your side.
-
Ain't no way bro is reporting people for playing the game with a method he doesn't like. Tunneling and Slugging are lame yeah but that's just pathetic.

this is completely wrong fillers were actually more safe before pallet density and they made them worse due to pallet density
Fillers aren’t meant to be unsafe either they never have been and majority of good players who play this game will agree unsafe 50 fillers are uninteresting and unhealthy !
It's far less interesting to have to kick every single pallet and have another one 2 feet away. And as I said, it's okay for the occasional very strong filler, but most should be either kinda bad or 50/50s. 50/50 fillers are some of the most fun in my personal opinion.
-
Most fillers are supposed to be unsafe. That was one of the main issues with the Pallet Density update was it made a ton of fillers safe. Most fillers should either be A: rather unsafe but still a resource you can use or B: a 50/50. Hence the name FILLERS, they're there to give you at least a resource to use to try and get to a powerful area or to a location with a good pallet.

I don't think Nurse players are the ones having problems learning how to play good here.
Nurse is basically braindead. She has a high skill floor that takes about 10-20 games to learn and an extremely low skill ceiling that once you get past that initial learning curve you just auto won games without even having to try because she's so OP.
-
@VibranToucan said:
For some perks, the wording is inconsistent or unclear. Some examples:
Hubris: "Whenever you are stunned by a Survivor (…)" does trigger on Deathslinger chain break.
Hex: Two can Play: "Anytime you are stunned or blinded by any Survivor (…) Survivors who stun or blind you (…)" does not trigger Deathslinger chain break.
-
Spirit Fury: "After you break 2 pallets (…)" does trigger on breaking a pallet with your power.
THWACK!!!: "When breaking a pallet or breakable wall (…)" does trigger on breaking a pallet with your power.
Game Afoot: "Damaging generators and breaking walls or pallets (…)" does not trigger on breaking a pallet with your power.
Imo the Hubris one has to be bugged. That definitely does not seem like it should work that way since you're being stunned by a Killer power (your own) not a Survivor.
As for the Pallet Breaking yeah I agree it would be nice to make sure the wording says "Break a pallet" as in any pallet anyway or "Perform the Break Pallet action" for non-power related perks. -
@Xyphus said:
Actually two things..
1st) If we Killer Mains always get what we want then the pallet density update never would've happened.
2nd) We were begging for a rollback! With even many of us saying that some maps should keep the new pallets (Haddonfield and Borgo for example). But no one.. Literally NO ONE asked for a rollback with a nerf on top! - I wanna see footage of all those otherwise claims that content creators wanted fewer pallets than before the first density update!
All of this has to be a bug, right? ..
There's absolutely no way that you have a rock with a pallet next to it.. And next to the pallet ABSOLUTELY ######### I N G NOTHING!
I love to play this game - but how? I feel totally ashamed to kill Survivors currently.. But if I don't I boost their escape rates and you might actually consider everything is fine..
So better don't play at all?
Yeah I agree, not a single Killer player was wanting a nerf, we were wanting a revert to an extremely Survivor sided change that made half the killer roster feel awful to play. Idk why people are blaming us for this when WE DIDN'T WANT THIS. We simply wanted a reversion of the Pallet Density update, and as OP said, with some exceptions like Haddonfield being the biggest one that NEEDED more pallets.

I am not happy with only 6 seconds of undetectable, before it was only 8 and that was already too short of a duration but now only 6? I’m sorry but at this point just revert her back to how she used to be but give her 5-6 drones instead of only the 4 she used to have.
Doing a buff nerf change on the only F tier killer to ever exist is wild.
-
@sizzlingmario4 said:
You might've missed it, but in an upcoming patch they are going to change the undetectable to activating when recalling a drone (instead of when deploying it) and change it back to 8 seconds
That would be a HUGE nerf if true and butcher her playstyle and incentive the boring "Put Drone at Pallet, recall when leave pallet" playstyle.
-
@KingOfDoom55 said:
With the changes to Survivors, I do agree that it is Survivor sided, however, nurse and blight need to be dropped down from their s tier rank, bc they have been there for FAR too long, I believe ghoul is more A tier now, but the auto aim is till an issue that could be nerfed a bit but decrease the pallet token cooldown to compensate for it, and making it not possible to grab attack ppl that are behind corners or walls that shouldn't allow it at all, then ghoul would be a solid A tier with ways to counter it, unlike blight (who basically had the kaneki situation the entire time, being able break pallets and stuns and hook and immediately get back into another chance, and nurse who can do all this and not be burdened by pallets or corners)
Completely agree. The S tier duo has been a huge problem for this game because it prevents them from being able to do actual killer buffs because of how it would affect the S-A tier killers.

this makes me wish BHVR would make dbd classic which is 1.0.0 of dbd it would show every entitled killer main that things weren’t better back then
the problem with that thought process is that it's essentially like saying "Oh you don't like being stabbed, well at least they didn't cut off your head like they used to in the past!" Both can be bad.

Pretty self explanatory with the title. With all these recent changes mainly serving to make killer gameplay more frustrating with giving survivors yet more chances after being downed with the Resolve feature, the "anti-slugging" (Which I am for just for the record) and of course the new unhooking protections.
Like some of this is good but a lot of this teeters on just caving to survivors who are "mad cuz bad" and killers should have some sort of mechanic buffs. One being is if gonna have all these methods for countering tunneling and slugging (which are basically part of killer strategies) than killers should at least have the ability to grab survivors unhooking others again. It was removed a few years ago as a form of anti-tunneling and stopping hook camping when there are plenty of other mechanics to prevent those issues now. Survivors already have increased chances to unhook themselves and now have more unhook protections. So rescuing a hooked survivor should at least still have some risk to it. Removing hook grabs was entirely unnecessary to begin with.
Nah Hook Grabs were cringe it's good they're gone. They just need to revert the Pallet Density update.
-
It wasn't but since the Pallet Density update and now the coming changes in 9.3.0 it's probably the most Survivor sided since infinites and insta blinds.

Everyone loves to hate on The Legion and say it makes 2v8 rigged/unfair. But hear me out, the real problem is Oni. No other killer can easily 1 hit down survivors in the same attack, (not counting hillbilly who is pretty balanced) I've had more games than I can count where Oni's weapon doesn't do a swing animation and he downs me without trying and he get his power way too easily for it to be fair. Yes the Legion made everyone need to mend and could give Oni his power but Oni already gets his power too easily. Yes Legion could use a nerf, maybe a smaller limit to how many uses to feral frenzy or something. But Oni overall needs a nerf more. ADD LEGION BACK IN 2V8 PLEASE!
Oni is kinda meh in 2v8 tbh. Legion was just disabled because Survivors didn't like playing against him. Legion was by far the most fun killer in 2v8 to play as.

Is it because they are hiding the fact that killer is underperforming in that mode, but they don't want to justify reasons to buff killer because they want more survivors playing it?
Most likely yes. This is one of those Fun > Performance game modes. It overwhelmingly favors Survivors but it's obviously more fun as Killer. They should not buff Killer as queue times are already dreadful now imagine if it was both strong and favored in the mode.

"Games never been killer sided." Yet at the same time killers are going on 600 game win streaks. lol What a joke. The real reality is the killers don't want to lose their easy wins and want all killers to be S tier. Sure lets buff all killers who aren't nurse, blight, krasue whatever so every match is miserable. As far as gen rushing goes do you know why most gen rush? Its because of fear. If a good huntress, blight, nurse finds you you're basically dead. Besides slugging which counters gen rushing is commonplace now. Literally almost every game I've played solo q when killers slug hard end up 4k. Hell slugging takes out most bully squads. Its that busted. Its a ######### show when you're not a swf. Slug, proxy camp the slug, wait for person to save slug that survivor repeat. Or tunnelling 1 survivor out at 5 gens: down survivor, proxycamp the hook, return to hook repeat. Maybe play solo q a bit before saying the games totally survivor sided.
The game isn't and has never been Killer sided. There are just overpowered Killers. And for the record I believe Nurse and Blight in particular need to be gutted at this point, they've been S tier since their releases and having 2 characters always be the best in every scenario is boring. 80% of the Killer roster is balanced or underpowered, and when playing them the game is either balanced or Survivor Sided.
-
@NotJared said:
Don't get me wrong, I'm happy the 'Kidnap Tech' was removed, but that was only a small corner of the Ghoul's oppressiveness.
Ghoul is absolutely miserable to face as a Survivor, and it would be very nice to see him changed.
Practically every other match I play, I get a Ghoul. 90% of those matches, a player gives up and kills themselves, or disconnects. Players are having so little fun playing against this killer that it is affecting my ability to enjoy playing the game.
I've been facing Ghouls since the 9.2.0 patch went live, and I can honestly say, the nerfs this recent patch weren't enough. More needs to be changed to make him feel less, frankly, "BS" to go against.
Leap Cancel Mid-Air Enables Cooldown Skipping:
Ghoul should not be able to cancel his leap while leaping. Currently, he can cancel a leap while mid-air, enabling him to skip the cooldown animation and this doesn't give Survivors with any time to get their footing back after he leaps directly to them.
This results in him being able to instantly catch up, cut off, and instantly hit Survivors between any tiles. It's quite honestly depressingly oppressive to play against. Ghoul should have to complete the leap and be required to go through the cooldown animation.
Auto-Target Needs To Go:
This is plain and simple. Point and click damage from a mile away should never have been a feature in this game. Remove the point and click functionality of this Killer, please.
Leap Slide Was Increased Too Much From Initial PTB:
The Ghoul's slide on Leaping is the main contributing factor to allowing him to position himself in undodgeable hits. I think a little bit of slide may be okay, but being able to guaranteed and effortlessly whip around the other side of any obstacle and instantly get a hit or leap cancel and cutoff is way too oppressive for how tuned it currently is.
These are my thoughts on what contributes to Ghoul's unfun-ness, not necessarily all of these points need to be removed at once but all of them together compound into a genuinely incredibly unfun time. I sincerely hope that the constant community complaints from the last 6 months are addressed soon and stronger nerf considerations are made soon.
Sadly he's like Blight, insanely popular. So BHVR won't be nerfing them in meaningful ways. Blight gets to be S tier for his entire existence and Ghoul will always be at minimum A tier.
-
@Star99er said:
Or at least a partial revert from the barrage of nerfs they got. They’re ineffective and don’t contribute to anything.
No, they need to be removed from the game. If they weren't nerfed to this state I would have never come back. It's a miserable game mechanic that's obnoxious but tolerable in an event but unplayable in base game. There's nothing less fun in games than not being able to see and not being able to move. Anything that does either shouldn't exist. Simple as that.

I saw a situation where "rpd" was censored. I guess because the system thought it was someone trying to game it to type yaknow. I also got "Meghead" censored in one of my personal own chats as well. The system is horrible. Idk why they don't do a manual one, have someone input all the slurs, and variants of slurs, ways to type them out in different ways etc. Because banning "#########" in a game where the characters themselves say it is the goofiest thing on the planet.

I play on the EU servers, probably mostly Frankfurt, since that is my closest server in West-EU. I am on 25-30 ping average. Im a 2016 player, so my memory has about 10000s of matches as experience here, this isn't just one or two bad days. But here is my experience playing against other ppl on this server:
At the very least Russia… Since they are such a massive portion of the player base in Europe (based on the names I see in my lobbies). Its so aggravating to play against these people due to their massive latency… often 150+ ms. Whether I play killer or Survivor, my Russian opponents will always be very VERY frustrating to play against due to latency issues.
And I have talked to these ppl directly, I know they aren't all malevolent… They just say "what am I supposed to do? This is our closest server", and I understand this. But they truly ruin the game for many ppl, especially when they play killer they ruin it for 4ppl per match. It's just unplayable and unacceptable.
The 2nd biggest population is Middle east for me, they literally don't care. I don't think I've had a single civil conversation out of them. They know they got this advantage and they don't care.
I even get South Africans on the EU servers… multiple times. Talked to them, Very nice ppl, can't say anything bad about them. BUT 250+ ping, Its just unplayable… but what are they supposed to do, right?
I've been a gamer my entire life pretty much (40+). I remember even in the early days of the internet becoming mainstream, even then people had 100 ping or lower on old tech modems, in some of the most popular early online games such as Quake and Counter-strike. So there is absolutely no reason that anyone in modern times should be playing at or playing against over 100 ping players, unless they are on VPN or playing cross continents…
So why are we forcing people to play like this? Can we not at least give them ONE server to lighten the load on other continents? Is it THAT expensive? Honest questions cause I truly don't know.
Thanks <3
There's a lot of LGBTQ stuff in this game so they wouldn't allow it. BHVR would have to block the flag charms in those regions if they put servers there. And probably also change any mention of LGBTQ in lore.

And even if he gets nerfed, people will continue DC'ing or continue getting tilted no matter what (Just like skull merchant)
No matter what happens, please don't make him another skull merchant or other forgotten killers. He is fun to play as and against. Others will comment and write a looong paragraph on how wrong I am and try to belittle me with fancy yet meaningless words but I do not care. If he needs to get nerfed just nerf or change his add-ons not his base-kit.
This is not Skull Merchant all over again. Skull Merchant was never S tier. She was at most B tier. Ghoul has quite literally 0 counterplay, I know some 5000 hour Survivor main will want to say "Erm ackshually he does you just have to learn how to use the jingle jangle fist my ######### tech" but Ghoul is genuinely insufferable. 0 counterplay, 0 fun for Survivors, 0 skill to use, SM got gutted just because people don't like playing against her, but Ghoul actually needs nerfs from a balance perspective, not just from a fun perspective.

That's my point. Why leave him in a state where he's so bad and useless in chase that he's not used?
What's the benefit in that?
Why are we even allowed to use him to start a chase, if the only thing he is ever good for is breaking pallets? What's the point of having a part of the kit exist that actively works against you, the Killer, because of how useless and bad it is in doing what it's supposed to do?
It's not like The Carnifex is the Survivor Downing Machine - I don't understand why we should be opposed to any sort of buff to a Guard that is already so harmless that people actively avoid using him.
Because the point of Knight is that each guard has something they're good at? Homogenized guards was a horrible design. Carnifex for breaking, Assassin for hits, Jailer for slowdown.

Slinger desperately needs an addon rework like Pyramid Head got.

@BoonRainDice said:
Why Clown, Knight has to be nerfed in some way when they are allready bit struggling compare to any A+ tier killer? Why Trapper sits still in bottom toilet tier for almost a decade?
Why Pyramid Head just gets direct buffs (very small nerfs) when he is allready great killer? Why Blight and Nurse, Kaneki just sits S tier without being nerfed?
I don't understand balance of killers in this game.
Seriously, the buff/nerf thing they do with lower tier killers drives me insane. At least Pig got actual just buffs this time around but it's so frustrating seeing weaker killers only get like half an addon made basekit at the cost of a nerf. Then it comes out to a net nerf because many people will still use the addon that was given half basekit so now they just got nerfed for no reason.
It's pretty obvious the Devs have a bit of a favoritism problem. Blight is clearly their golden boy, he's been overpowered since his release and they have done nothing about. They rework his addons and literally nothing changes, they even buffed some of them afterwards. Nurse is a flawed character design in general and will always be OP, even if she only had a single blink and moved at 4.2 she would still be strong. Kaneki is another flawed design, everything people complain about with characters like Legion or Skull Merchant for "Free injures" is 10 fold for Kaneki and are actually free injures. He has insane mobility and can traverse the map in seconds yet is still 4.6 (Just like Blight) and all 3 suffer from the problem with how gaining any distance against them feels completely pointless and even if you do manage to dodge their hit from their op powers you get to extend chase by like 5 seconds.
It's so frustrating to see characters that aren't even strong like Skull Merchant or Clown get completely gutted just because Survivors don't enjoy playing against them while the big 2 never get nerfed, and Kaneki makes it the big 3 and I doubt he'll be nerfed again even though he needs it.
-
This has been an issue for sooo many events. Even if you repair a gen to 99, if someone comes up and does the final 1% they get the 3500 points. It's so unbelievably lame. At the very least anyone who worked on the gen for idk like 5% should get the points from that gen when it pops.

I didn’t miss any point. You are asking for more handholding off mommy behavior.
And I explained about the add on, In question which you mentioned.
It gives haste to both the Killer and the Survivor so it can work against said killer.
It’s a 50/50 risk of an add on because of that.
Also I actually enjoy and play both sides, And again your comment about the Ghoul is funny to me.
As I’ve posted about the Ghoul before, You seem to favour one side and not balance.
The Ghoul is strong yes but can be rushed and countered if you and the team play smart.
As for the fact you saying he’s unfun to play against show’s the clear one sided survivor main opinion.I have to deal with Sabo teams, Flashlights, Gen Rush Squads etc.
Or the common a whole team with all 16 slots of nothing but second chance perks.
That might not be too fun but I use my head and counter it.
The ghoul is a strong killer we are allowed strong killers.
I have beaten The Ghoul in solo q many times, And played as.
But that doesn’t mean you’re automatically get to have fun to play against any Killer.
The Killer is meant to be feared and avoided.
As for you as a player to use your mind games, Sneaking and Gen efficiently to survive.
It’s an horror game.
It sounds like you’re wanting to bully the Killer and want the Killer to be weak like The Trapper or Clown.
So you can T bag and have your said fun it’s a 1 vs 4 the Killer is meant to have a slight edge.
We deserve more strong killer not just Nurse and Blight.
If you actually play both sides, You can outsmart and mind game as well outplay any Killer or Survivor.
That’s all I have to say good luck & Stop asking for more handholding.I am literally a Killer main. A Skull Merchant main to be specific with 70% of my playtime of 1500 hours on Killer. I'm pretty sure you're either misunderstanding things or being purposefully dense to ragebait.

Stop asking for handholding, It’s just like surviour mains that whine about the ghoul.
It’s on you if you can’t dodge his axe throws or aren’t observant of his doors when springtrap is insidious.
His haste add on works on survivors at the same time giving them haste if they run into it.
We are allowed new strong killers, Play both sides and you’ll vastly be able to mindgame better on eva side and improve if so.Goof luck!
Remember it’s a horror game.I think you misunderstood the entire point of my post. I said they nerfed the addons that were already mid and buffed the single addon that should never have been buffed. This has nothing to do with Springtrap's actual power or base kit strength.
Also the Ghoul is overpowered and unfun to play against so idk what you're on about there.

I do agree but I'm gonna be real I never understood why people say Midwich is killer sided. Even when I'm on Survivor it feels balanced. There's plenty of bad spots, but plenty of very strong spots too. I think the Farm Maps would be a better pick for a Killer sided realm. They used to be Survivor sided but now all but the one that has the Shack in the middle is Killer sided. Like the Thompson House is so unbelievably tiny and has like 0 pallets except in 1 single part of the map.

here's my stats from this morning (they update at 6 am eastern). Gabriel has never played in the anniversary, and Ada has only played in the anniversary. Ada's escape rate is 70%. clearly survivor sided.
Events are not factored into stats. Only the individual matches are saved. That's why you can have like me 1500 hours but only have around 400 played on the killer I've mained since her release which is also around when I started.

Stats from my last 30 days played. Top survivor hasn't played during the anniversary and has a 66% escape rate. Bottom survivor has only played during the anniversary event and has a 65% escape rate.
Not sure what anyone else's stats would suggest but found it interesting. No real difference for me.
No dude as a Killer main this event is 1000% Killer Sided. Remote Pallet Breaking alone makes this event Killer sided. It makes getting downs as Killer braindead easy. Then there's also the time saved and guaranteed Scourge Hooks with the remote hook. Like there is actually 0 way to argue that the event isn't Killer sided.

The whole point of map offerings was to go to a specific realm, whether you thought it gave you a benefit or you were just tired of getting the same five maps in rotation. Now you can use a map offering (with no one else using one or a sacrificial ward) and still end up on a totally different map. I've seen this happen multiple times. So if map offerings don't really work anymore, why have them in the game still? Why not just remove them?
They should have just removed them. I think they were too scared of the backlash they would get. Map offerings serve no purpose other than Survivors sending killers to Survivor sided maps and Killers sending Survivors to Killer sided maps. They were super unhealthy for the game and should just be removed, maybe even refund BP for them or something imo.
