Oh god, not another chapter.
-
Hillbilly only needs better addons like before, nothing too Crazy.
I agree that the overheat mechanic shouldn't have been added but is not a problem as many say. I still play Billy and the overheat doesn't affect my matches at all.
-
what's next? spirit? again?
-
Plot twist: NURSE is still the strongest killer in the game.
-
Não.
-
If it's in the game, it's for use.
-
let's hope eyrie has been reworked according to that screenshot of survivor's icons ( not confirmed though)
-
I loved the scene when that Raven was making funny noises 🥰. It was so poetic
-
Killers existing is the issue not a symptom
Aren't you tired of being tunneled and camped over and over?
The META is all about NURSE. DELETING HER WON'T SOLVE THE ISSUE, another killer Will replace her and you're back at the start of everything. People will still Go for BLIGHT and INSIDIOUS BUBBA because playing any other way is SIMPLY TREATED BY THE GAME AS WRONG AND BAD.......
-
No, DH is fine now.
-
The evil within
Jason
Candyman
Alien
Pennywise
Stranger things part 2
These are my wettest dreams...
-
I also have my doubts if the survivors icon will solve the problem of soloQ. It Will help veteran players but for someone who still has no idea about how the game works, l'm not so sure because you can't expect your teammates to play well.
New players are usually not good at looping, they don't know the value of Hook trade or when to take a hit for someone else. these are the actions that usually make a difference in a trial and not just information.
-
Definitely not. Making the game more difficult and boring Just because you are playing with your friends is not the right call.
-
Don't you dare touch my shadowborn!!!
And why Furtive Chase is still the same?
-
No
-
I can't believe this is going to be the first time I'm going to defend DH but here we go....
DH is fine.
-
No, Pinhead is fine and the box has counterplay, he doesn't need to be fixed, he needs torture.
-
Some changes are good, but i would prefer the dream world to have more effects on survivors. The dream world is useless if you're not being chased by Freddy.
-
Yeah, i've been using bite the bullet recently and i really enjoying this build: Overcome, lucky break, self care and bite the bullet. It's so fun to be a ninja.

I have been hearing "maps are bad" for years. I am not really sure what a balanced map would supposedly look like.
This is my conception of what a balanced map should look like:
a map where the killer can defend generators and put pressure on survivors and that also has strong loops not necessarily connected so the survivors can do something.
Coal tower and Chapel are a great examples. Both are small maps that killers don't need to run a marathon to get to a generator and manage to injure multiple survivors in a short time putting some pressure and both maps have strong main buildings as well as other loops to compensate for defense and pressure that the killer may have, making a fair map for both. But like i said, it's my conception.

I thought the new tiles were pretty nice. Spices things up on the maps and they and they aren't too challenging to face from my experience. Unless we are talking about Suffocation Pit but that middle zone has always had chain linking loops that make me want to cry.
yeah, the idea of putting new tiles is good but i'm starting to think it might not work on some maps. lmagine playing on azarov resting place with these new tiles, damn....

Survivors just had the base game tilted against them in the form of Killer recovery time and Speed Boost reduction. Adding a few more tiles seems like a gameplay move to try to even that field out.
I think it is worth experimenting with.
I understand what you are saying but what is the point of reducing recovery time and breaking pallets if the maps are going to get worse?
I also believe that these changes would not be necessary if the maps were balanced but it's BHVR we're talking about...
-
Honestly i miss facing Spirit 5 times in a day and now she so rare.
-
what? survivors already earn less bp than killers and you want to nerf even more?
Killers bp are fine and survivors bp should be buffed.
-
huuuh... because it's situational I think... maybe?
-
Good point, as l also have all p3 survivors and killers, l don't want the colors of the portraits to get mixed up.
-
I don't think so, this combo already exists and even so I've never seen anyone using it, maybe with the change of the STBFL but I think it's unlikely. The regression perks change wasn't that impactful.
-
The cannibal
Leatherface
Bubba
The king of camper
The insidious taster
The basement addict
And nurse...
-
Honestly if i'm carrying a survivor and the other 3 want body block to free the other and they all end up injured, l see that as an absolute win.
Body block is fine.
-
exactly, as much as the nerf Dead hard will receive may help some killers a little, the maps are still unbalanced.
There is nothing an m1 killer can do on a map like cowshed for example. A decent survivor can take a lot of time off the killer even without DH on a survivor sided map.
-
I can't wait to hook the killer 12 times in the trial
-
Why do my teammates let me enter the second stage of a hook even though sometimes the killer isn't camping?
These are questions we'll never know the answers.
-
Nemesis should only be nerfed if the Nurse is buffed, no exceptions.
-
YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES
I missed him so much, happy to have him back but sad to lose Maurice.
-
Ah sheeesh, here we go again.
why am l not surprised?
-
I remember when Yui went almost a whole year without receiving a cosmetic. Dark times.
-
I think it will probably be in the next mid-chapter.
They usually don't release significant game changes with new chapters/contents, so my guess is on some mid-chapter.

I still don't really agree that Dredge is like an Onryo 2.0. They both have a teleport ability that helps them traverse the map, but other than that, Dredge is pretty different compared to Onryo. Even their teleport abilities are fairly different.
But I do agree that she really needs some buffs. However, I would rather have them buff her map pressure and passive slowdown more, and not give her some form of anti-loop.
I agree, sadako doesn't necessarily need an anti-loop to be good.
Her problem is that she is basically bad at everything she does. Her teleport is bad, her stealth is bad and her slowdown is bad.
if she was good at the things she was supposed to do l think she would be a decent killer.
-
Even after 4 years playing DBD, l still don't know how premonition works.
-
Ok but where would you put Hawkins?
No Hawkins, no opinion. sorry
-
Main event should have a time of 45s just like the oni's blood fury and plague's corrupt purge.
I don't know if this is correct, but I remember hearing that the reason we can't use the main event whenever we want is to avoid a situation like myers for example. sometimes you stay the whole match without seeing him and when he appears, he activates tier 3 on you which is kinda unfair but like l said i don't know if this is true.
-
Don't forget to reduce his terror radius.

Except PH is more consistent than Artist imho. And also, he's way more fun to me.
I agree, even if the PH is great in loops, you can still try to make him miss the punishment of the damned.
if the artist puts a crow in the loop, there's nothing you can do but run.

As someone who plays artist a lot I think the best change she can get is to not allow crows to damage without you being swarmed first, makes the skill cap go up and not many people will drop her since she is not played a lot, obviously buff probably the cooldowns so that she can use them more often or something else.
this change would not solve anything, the artist would still be strong in loops.
Put a crow in the loop, even if the crow doesn't deal damage, the survivor would be marked, which means if you put the crow back in, the survivor would take damage, so he would still be forced out of the loop.

@Aneurysm said:
If you're only using birds for zoning and tracking then yeah that doesn't sound very interesting.
so how do you use crows in an interesting way?

I'd buy a certain Steve skin INSTANTLY if they added it. Fastest $15 spent of my life, istg
No spoilers, but if you know you know
I disagree.
BHVR should definitely do a Stranger Things chapter 2 (if possible) instead of just releasing cosmetics. I really want a map about STARCOURT to be released.
This is my wettest dream 😏.
-
You can't hunt a hunter my friend.
demogorgons will always be here!!
Now and forever, waiting in the back corners of the basement for the ideal prey.

Toy sword should also be base kit, it feels required on most loops.
I agree, it's funny how Victor manages to catch the survivors in some loops but is completely destroyed by a small rock or a tree.
-
If you're too stressed out about the game, I advise you to take a break and look for something else to do.
Do anything that is not Hockey related. l am sure you will feel better, it worked for me.
-
I break 100/100 pallets instantly in Gideon as a killer.
