Franklin's has never destroyed items as far as I know? Making someone drop a tiny dark key on the map while in a chase makes it very hard to find again. Also, killing them makes it impossible. 😂👍

They did. The thing is most of the items got so many charges that it takes a lot of hits to make it happen. The only time I've had a item get deleted by it is when I had one that was 99% used up. Every hit with the item in hand is 10% gone. You're unlikely to get hit that much with the item being held. Dropping the key doesn't really make it hard to find either. The maps despite what people say are pretty easy to see on and since just running around will put the icon up... Yeah eventually if you want the key you'll find it unless you got gold fish memory. The only people it's hard for is solo queue because someone else might pick up the key. An SWF will tell eachother where the key. That's not a guarantee it'll be found but you get the point. I don't mind keys though so I couldn't really care. I do think though if a key runs out of charges unlike the other items it should turn into a broken key. Pink key needs far less time too. It doesn't need anymore than 15s base. Want more? Put the add on.

... Um, Franklin's? 😂 Killers get amnesia rq when talking about their precious mori.

It don't destroy items anymore since they stay when their charges are used up. Not sure if charges effects the key though for opening hatch. Pink key though has way too many seconds.

  • If you lose on game all I have to say is yikes.

  • No I mean survivors got a huge advantage with the TPP camera since you can hide without having to reveal yourself. Even if killer had TPP that wouldn't be fixable. It'd just make it so killers could exploit the camera.

  • It's fine as is. The only place it's impossible to see survivors is the new map's bushes. Everywhere else you can see a survivor whether they are a p3 or not. The third person camera is a far bigger culprit of not being able to spot a survivor than a blendette.

yeah because...so many of those were worked out last time around right?

I didn't say they were. I said that's the reason companies do that. This company is known to do a terrible job at fixing issues all around with or without chapters bringing deadlines.

  • Delayed. The last one was delayed. Most companies have a space between them so they can work out any remaining issues they have.

Doctor is fine he can track really well but gets no help in chase he can stop vaults and pallet drops but it takes great timing so its skill based hes still a m1 killer

He has 115% speed he's not a defenseless baby at chase.

  • Imagine complaining about post nerf balanced landing and on this map no less lmao. You'd think if you were gonna make a complaint like this it'd be about the saloon building at least since it takes some time to get up there.

  • It's just preference and in the case of spirit more people are gonna play her since the rift requires her along with doctor.

    I enjoy playing Myers.

If Myers ever got a rework that made him the top tier killer I would still play Myers.

Is this because I'm "too bad to play killers that need actual skill"?

Nope its because I enjoy playing Myers.

Have I just blown your mind with this logic?

I mean... Not really. Plenty of survivors choose to not run meta perks because they like others or want to try new stuff/make it more challenging. It's an exception to the rule. Yeah people play how they want to play and sometimes that means picking something that's worse statistically. It don't however mean that the majority aren't opting for a low learning curve. That's why games are designed around that.

  • A live environment that doesn't have skill based matchmaking or ranking.

  • Killers don't have the same issue with BP as survivor and the add ons are far stronger than survivor gear even before the nerfs. Add on top of that BBQ which most killers run and there is zero struggle for BP even if you have a bad game. Survivor on the other hand whether or not you escape depends on other people, the odds are stacked against you much of the time and your equipment will only carry you so far. I can't say the same if I'm running pink add on spirit. Things were fine as they were for add ons. The add ons weren't the issue for survivors it was the base number on toolbox. The only add on that is questionable really is just the one that saves your key on death and I'm only saying that because I think items being saved should only be covered by a ward if you lost. It also creates duplicate keys.

  • Well it's not like there's a plus side to limited time clothing from years ago anyways. Having goals that can be worked toward does.

  • Are you a meme?

  • Seems interesting to me. I guess the background lore would be a leper or something.

  • Yikes people still beg for the old ruin lmao.

  • Killers got mori, fog(good for trapper/hag), less fog(good for stopping hiding), closer hooks, ward for keeping OP add ons, are able to separate survivors, map offerings to avoid getting sent to survivor sided maps, less chests(More useful since toolbox change).... They're not bad. Could there be more? Sure, there could be different ones for survivors too. That doesn't mean the existing ones are bad and if its a pissing contest between who has it worst for offerings the fact is killers got it better than survivors.

  • Letting people eventually earn legacy clothes would be a way to have more prestiging.

  • No they shouldn't. As a killer you're the equivalent(Used to be literal) of a host. If you don't got the willpower to finish a game as the host you shouldn't be playing killer at all. No need for me to add on a variety of other reasons why. That's more than enough from a game design standpoint. Want to leave? Click leave match and take the cooldown. Then settle for being as bad as a survivor that DCs.

Because survivors will do a gen and then hop into a locker when killer gets close. Then you are forced to eat the DS or let them do the gen. meanwhile they get a 5 second head start on a chase that could last another 30 seconds. Pair it with unbreakable and you can't even slug.

DS should be cancelled if you perform an action like doing a gen. If you go and do a gen, or heal another survivor, or do a totem, then you aren't getting tunneled.

Gen grab is avoidable just like vault grab is..... You just lunge. Locker DS needs addressing, yes. That isn't avoidable aside from going away. That specific one is used in situations that aren't tunneling most of the time.

Working on a gen disabling DS would be fine too out of principle but frankly it's avoidable for the reason I just said: Lunge.

  • I think it should be addressed. It's silly that doctor basically counters it like that. Instead of trying to hide behind "oh it probably wasn't actually tunneling", how about taking off the abusable part of DS which is working on a gen or hiding in a closet? Oh right, that'd make too much sense.

Lol you're literally mad at OP for no reason this entire forums is just cancerous for this type of ish worse than reddit, Also who gets mad at inclusion of gay/lesbian characters i've not recently heard of anything the majority of players don't care I mean half the playerbase know on apex legends that Gibralter is gay and they're fine with it.

Maybe it's because he had a stupid argument to begin with by basing it around being 'offended' rather than on priorities? No country is getting excluded and it's obnoxious to list 3 as some amazing distinction in a world with almost 200 countries. The whole 'offended' bit would only happen anyways if they either:

    1) Did an incredibly stupid backstory that shows they don't got the slightest clue about the culture. Or alternatively if they go focus on sexuality when it doesn't matter at all in this game.

    or

    2) They put some racist outfit.

In the OP he literally says there's survivors that aren't from the US/UK/Canada. There' 22 survivors. 5 aren't from the US/Canada/UK. For whatever reason he left out Adam. 7 other survivors are from movies/tv/games and their origins can't be changed for obvious reasons. So 10 survivors are unlicensed UK/US/Canadians. Suddenly the disparity seems less apparent. Then you can take into account some got immigrant backgrounds, different races, etc. further breaking it down.

Every racial group essentially is covered except for: - South Asian - Native American - Slav.

Also, how exactly is putting an Australian survivor really any better...? That's basically the same exact thing as having them be Americans, Canadians and British..... The difference is an accent smh.

I'd love to see survivors from other countries though like the ones I just said are left out or ones that are taken from different time periods instead of modern ones. The argument however that it is because people would be triggered is silly.

  • What tilts me is there is an obvious middle ground yet they can't see it. One that is balanced and also doesn't make sabotage OP.

  • In the remedial classes you took did they teach you two wrongs make a right?

  • @shalo said:

'grats. You bullied a rank 10 with 3 toolboxes and a key and you feel proud enough to make a thread about it.

    Woosh.

  • They'd of escaped regardless if they realized it was blood warden... It's a terrible perk. Literally all you got to do is just survive for a little longer. If it's not paired with NOED then that's almost never difficult to pull of. Some people will complain no matter what. When I had to do the key challenge I opened both gates and used my key on the hatch. If I wanted to go out the gate I could've done so. The gate wasn't too far away from the hatch so even if I got hit I could've made it out no matter what. Still the killer using ebony mori (He only caught one person so he mori'd them on the hatch lol...) moans about a key being used that I didn't need to begin with. A key that had no aura reading add ons and replaced me bringing in a flashlight, toolbox, or med kit. A key that has fairly high requirements if everyone doesn't die.

  • A small buff IMO could just be footsteps are more audible or noises in general. Kind of like Stridor but for survivor. That would make it more unique too.

  • Jesus you make it sound like you can't just chase them out. It's not the same as being body blocked in a room or getting camped four minutes during bleedout phase. You have a choice in the matter just like survivors got a choice to kill themselves on the hook if the killer just stands there head nodding, t bagging and hitting their body. People are dicks on the internet. Get over it.

  • I wouldn't spend a penny. Disregarding balance issues, matchmaking, terrible game design choices (hitboxes) and garbage servers.... They DO NOT FIX ######### BUGS. Not even gamebreaking ones. I see the same bugs happen now that I seen when I first started playing this game. It's inexcusable.

  • @Rey_512 said:

I don’t think people realize that this would be cumbersome on your storage. Recording the perspectives of 4 survivors for your post-game viewing seems like it would take up a lot space.

Does “Theater Mode” auto delete previous game footage when you start a new one?

Does it save on DBD’s servers or your own?

PUBG handles their version of this just fine.

Killers can tell the difference between good solos and SWFs by the timing of saves, team perks such as BT vs seeing solo perks such Bond or self-care and style of play such as the prevalence of body blocking and running past lockers with Janes in them.

Also when everyone is teabagging, they are probably on comms.

Killers can assume just like everyone else.

  • I can't relate. I love that map as killer and survivor. My only complaint about it is I wish there were more variety in totem placements because there are so many other places totems could spawn there.

  • Basically every battle pass system is a huge grind fest.

  • It just amazes me they can't quality control something that you literally only got to look at to see the problem. No need to look at stats to see the clipping on this one or in others. Charms clipping is another thing they messed up.

  • I mean you don't need to. Sometimes I do it and sometimes I don't. What tends to determine it is if I think there's a real chance of escape and how good the person that got played and whether or not the killer is being toxic. It's not surprising that when it's very easy to actually save the person and the killer don't even try to stop the unhook that people don't like it. That's the way I see it anyways. I'm not a dick or selfish.

I can't believe there was a point in time when I thought they were making the game better. They've just introduced a new plethora of bugs with dedicated servers and continue to not fix the problems that make players want to DC in the first place.

    They're taking lessons from Bluehole.

  • I'd rather people grow a backbone and let serious harassment get handled through reports.

  • @KStarW05 said:

So you have no problem against most killers but then any killer you face that is obviously really good is only really good because of their ping?

Your ignorance is showing. Perhaps you're simply not as good as you think you are and you're looking for an excuse to justify it.

Yes despite what you may think playing killers that can hit you through walls, 15+m away and so forth are not fun to play considering hit detection is client side. Fortunately it's 2020 and most killers got decent internet. The problem is made worse by terrible netcode/servers.

  • It's very true. The problem however is that this game doesn't do anything to stop a person with garbage internet from being essentially the host of a game. Even though dedicated is here the killer is still the GM. You can't have people with terrible connections being that. Solutions for that is having hard limits for what is acceptable when it comes to your ping/internet speed.

  • I stopped at reading "Waste time carrying survivors" as a penalization.

  • I think so, pretty helpful if you don't have headphones.

  • It don't need to be removed. It isn't that bad. House of pain's gotta be reworked on it cause the windows are strong there. I would like for there to be a second basement location too.

Except - you created that argument out of nowhere. The whole conversation has always been about rarity, both in use and bloodweb. You created the "one takes more work" narrative. So no - no winnable argument. Run along now.

Mori's require a full chase, a hook, and then another full chase, and they don't count towards any objective. Keys do go towards objective. It's a trade off. Let's not pretend generators are hard.

    Nice try.

    I mean, camping is camping.

You're also implying that mori's are so darn common. If they are so common, how come killers have hoards of them? Spoilers: It's not because they use them all the time.

Mori's largely go unused unless you're in yellow/brown ranks, where the novelty for baby killers and mori's is still there. "Let's not pretend" they are common enough to be a problem. Killers don't use them because you get significantly less objective and bloodpoints; and if they really are that common (which they aren't, period), then don't worry, they are nullifying ranks soon anyway. So if you get mori'd, you lose nothing.

This isn't a winnable argument for you, bud.

I never said they were common. I said that the difficulty curb with them isn't some high difficulty challenge to achieve which you did nothing to argue against. So yes, that there is a winnable argument bud.

Another "full chase"... Haha, you're implying they don't get slugged after unhook. Yeah gens need a look too. Lets not pretend that mori after an unhook is hard either.

  • Add on nerf was pretty pointless when you take into account most survivors die rather than escape.

  • Still waiting on the moronic oval hitboxes to be changed into decent ones like damn near every other pvp game.

  • Breakout is very situational and when people try to use it its usually the wrong situation. I seen one person that used it amazingly well during first tome. Stopped like 4 basement hooks.

  • You don't gotta do it in a single game.

  • No they should just make it so there is a ping lock and the only way to bypass it is SWF. VPN will still bypass but that's not really on DBD unless some data centers are worse than others.
