just some insurance after ruin pop up...
usually I go with perk like that or change ruin into corrupt intervention or hex huntress lullaby ... to make it works
Whatever works for you I guess, I’ll admit it would catch me off guard seeing overcharge after Ruin was destroyed.

I’m more looking at the fact he is pairing ruin with overcharge...

If you don't want to be tunneled, slot anti-tunneling perks... like DS.
I'm really confused as to your point. Why should people benefit from a perk existing without actually slotting the perk?
Ok, let's say I go into a match without DS as I feel like I can use other perks instead. Straight into the match and the killer sees that I don't have it and he can tunnel me easily as I can't stun him.
This would make DS used even more than it is now because of this scenario.
-
No offence, but this is a horrible idea.
First of all, this would mean the killer would know which survivors they can tunnel without being struck by Decisive Strike.
Other than that, this doesn't remove the main problem of DS, which is what you can do in those 60 seconds. Yes, you know the guy playing very aggressively has decisive strike, but what is that going to change?
Personally I'd be against this change as it only encourages tunneling more which is what the opposite of this perk encourages.
-
i know that he has low map pressure so generally if everyone sticks in gens you can counter him but what i mean is like how do you counter him in chase?
That’s his whole deal. He is extremely strong in the chase, and a good one will always come out on top, but he is poor at everything else.
Best bet are fakes at windows, but even then that might not be enough against a good one, hence why rushing gens are your best bet.
-
With certain add ons he can become OP. Otherwise no.
-
Like batax, personally I’m fine with the perk. It’s a risk reward perk, sometimes you have to destroy ruin 4 times and sometimes you’ll get hex undying first and that’ll be that.
-
So I just play the way I always do then?
-
I might get a bit of stick for this, but I personally don’t see a problem with the two of them being used together. Usually it isn’t too much of an issue to me.
-
If I don't go down to phase two then yes, I will. I don't recall the name of the achievement but there is one for getting off the hook by yourself a ton of times.
-
I'd say I see a disconnect every 10 games or so, and all I really play is solo survivor. Its annoying yes, but up until we see some sort of system put in place and not removed we just have to deal with it unfortunately.
-
Post game...?

Favourites to go against:
1. Spirit
2. Nurse
3. Hillbilly
Favourites to play as:
1. Legion
2. Billy
3. Oni/Only Totem Spirit
-
1. Freddy
2. Pyramid Head
3. Hag
-
If you type a word like {BAD WORD} it'll appear like that.
-
This would most likely lead to that survivor focusing on getting into a chase with the killer aswell as body blocking for other survivors, while also practically guaranteeing an escape if an exit gate is open.

Because you probably don't live in europe. We have a very big country where 100% of killers are campers/tunneler. 6/10 matches
I'm Irish mate, and I'd say closer to 1/10 than 6/10.
-
Rocket League or a ton of different mobile games.
-
Well no one is gonna force you to use it. Personally I don't use it as I don't find a huge use for it as it doesn't match my playstyle, but if you want to use it its more than fine.
-
Of course moris do need a nerf, although that nerf would encourage both tunneling off of second hook, and would be kinda useless.
A much better change would be once you've hooked each survivor once you can start to mori survivors.
Personally, I do think they're overpowered, but I think there are still some stronger things out there.
-
As a Legion main this sounds extremely good! I'd love to see most of these changes (I think the 3 second Cooldown with the missed attack could be a bit to oppressive but it could be tested in a PTB). The add ons all sound mostly great with better changes definitely making Legion much stronger.
My one problem is that many survivors already don't enjoy facing Legion so this could end negatively due to such. Other than that though I think this would be great! Well done dude.

Its about the lunge distance, its not about the model.
when the killer starts lunging and can go 5 meter with his lunge then there is something wrong, keep in mind you also have the aim aissist (hit detection), the hitbox of survivors what is the double size of the actualy model of the survivor and then you have the lovely Dedicated server, Bloodlust etc.
and a killer shouldnt have so many advantages in a chase.
lunging from the pallet all way trough behind the window is not fair.
but yeah "main" players will never accept something what isnt in their favor why am i even trying to have a fair game.
and honestly i cant understand how you can even say "i dont see the problem" that is just sad.
The lung distance is completely fine, and I've found it to be that way in the year and a bit I've played.
Additionally, as we are talking about "mains" if I wanted things to be in my sides favour so badly, the killer wouldn't even get a hook throughout the match.

Yes, but that's taking up all their time.
They can't fix bugs and do all that at the same time.
Well then you have to question how they're using their resources.
-
And yet they've been able to do so many things normally as if we weren't in quarantine such as creating chapters and making cosmetics.
-
I'd agree for Freddy, as unless you're not asleep there is no way to counter this, however I think BT is fine the way it is for the rest of the cast.
-
I genuinely don't see the problem here. If that was any other killer it would look completely normal.
-
I've never really been big on swf while I do infact enjoy solo queue. There are the frustrating games, but it feels much more like a challenge and the way the game was meant to be played.

It's exactly the same, you slug 4min. a guy if he don't DC so you can get your 4k easily
How about we give the killer s full kit of second chance perks to help him out bad situations then? Its exactly the same as survivors 🤷♂️
-
This sounds way too overpowered. And slugging for the 4k is much, much different to this.
-
Hawkins is too strong for most killers
Moris encourage tunneling and need a change to do otherwuse
Freddy needs a nerf to his snares
NoeD needs a slight change (stronger if the killer played well while weaker if they played poorly)

The comparison has no logic and its really sad that even players like ScottJund or Otz empower this nonsense by comparing two completely different situations, just because its trendy. That really hurts their reputation. Who cares if some biased people on forums want to nerf another perk, while ignoring all relevant information in regards of the perks usage. And if you want to compare trhem, how about giving pop the DS-Rant-Treatment? Just make pop deactivate after doing any actions besides whats its used for? Thats the logic all of you apply, and its nonsense.
Here's the difference, Pop rewards you for playing well, DS rewards you for playing poorly.
-
I'm more of a 50 50 player, and the main thing I want changed is less perks that are second chance and more perks that reward you for playing well. This would include slight changes to DS, Unbreakable and the like which reward you for playing negatively.
Keys, along with moris, also need a change, although I'm unsure as to what for keys.
The early game thing that the devs have talked about briefly I'd like to see implemented soon.
Any maps that are more than about 10-15% from the 2k average should be reworked. This includes maps that are beneficial to killers.
Survivors making mistakes should somewhat be more punishing.
-
Rest in Piece Dan, you were an amazing guy, both as someone to play with online or to hang with in real life.
You knew how to make people smile with ease and you don't deserve all the ######### you've gone through. Thanks for everything over the past few years.
-
I hate FNAF with a passion, for multiple reasons, and although it wouldn't be near enough to make me quit, it would definitely effect my experience.
-
Definitely need a way to get tokens back, although I think safe unhooks is the wrong way to go (as if they had BBQ it would always be lose one gain one which would practically allow infinite) but definitely some sort of way to do so.
-
Nah n is better.
-
I'm with @arcnkd here. That 60 second timer is really abusable if you know how to use it. If the killer gets a down and hook on a different survivor, the survivor with DS can get cocky and go for a save because if the killer grabs them then DS activates, and if they don't get the grab then they get away for free.
Additionally, this perk does infact need a nerf. A perk shouldn't be able to have that big of an effect on the game, how it would be nerfed, idk. But it is a perk that does need a change.
-
Jeff is amazing.
-
Or we can continue to complain about clearly over powered perks like No Mither and Iron Grasp!
/s
-
Well if you rely on a perk to do well it's a crutch. I use Iron Will, Spinechill and Whispers way too much and can barely play without them, making them a crutch perk to me. To some people (like myself) DS isn't a crutch perk simply because they don't rely on it constantly or even use it at all.
So, to sum it all up, just because it's a crutch perk to a certain player, doesn't necessarily mean it's overpowered.
-
I was playing Cannibal, during a chase, a Blendette went around a corner and tried to hide in a tight space hard to see in. There was a second Blendette who was already hiding there. Needless to say, they got downed fairly easily.

Thats not how the alarm clocks work. You can wake up at any of them, but only the farthest one is highlighted.
Then people with knowledge from either earlier in the game or just knowing the spawns in general could just go right for the closest one.

I guess for the same reasons why killers stand on the hatch and wait for the last survivor just to close it in front of them. Like you said, BM. People will always find a way to be toxic, no matter if you were "nice" or not. It's not a survivor/killer thing, it's a human being thing.
As mentioned, some killers do it as a strategy so the survivor will have a harder time with escaping through the exit gates.

Nova you've hurt my feelings :'(
How could you Diss Daddy Dorito like that?
-
I genuinely enjoy solo queue as survivor in most situations as long as it isn't someone camping, tunneling or playing Pyramid Head.
-
Welcome to the forums! I'm fairly new myself but glad we have more.
Second of all, tunneling is focusing on one survivor instead of the other three, which doesn't apply if it's been a long period of time before you've gone for said survivor, the saved survivor tried to abuse a perk like BT or DS, or the survivors made a poor save.
-
Windows of Opportunity is an amazing solo perk as it allows you to see if your team mates have abused the good pallets as well as gives you a good idea of what loop variant you're going into.
-
Iron Will kicks in instantly upon getting injured and helps straight away in a chase and allows you to be cocky while staying injured on a gen.
Self care doesn't kick in instantly and provides no advantage in a chase, and leaves it as a risk staying on a gen.
Inner Strength requires you to find a totem earlier in the game and then being able to sneak into a locker, yet again meaning it provides little to no use in the chase unless you either play extremely well or use a build focused around getting into lockers.
So, I'd reccomend Iron Will.
-
I'll be honest, if you're boyfriend was more focused on DBD and the forums than the real world, that's a bit of an issue which will most likely reoccur within the future once he finds another game.
