I barely play killer....this one game had today (one of my daily's was with pig) I put a trap on this guys head.
Everyone made it out except one guy, I got my daily of sneak attaching them or whatever, and this one guy just sat at the exit gate teabagging. I got a message over ps4 saying git gud....and as he was baiting me to hit him...the trap went off...
I enjoyed it

After rank 13 on PS4, every other game I play is against a Myers, no joke.
Same.

I can tell you from my experience today, they are ALL playing ps4 rank 8-13

Best thing? I dont think I have one, maybe not being a complete waste of skin some matches and actually getting something accomplished before I'm killed?

In my first game I learned two things.
Firstly, that running through grass to find a bear trap that I saw the Trapper put in that general area is a bad idea.
Secondly, just because it says "Attempt Escape" you shouldn't, as I tried 3 times and then died as I wasn't prepared to struggle.
The attempt escape thing....my god how many of my first games that is what I tried as I was always the first one hooked.
It wasnt until I saw someone unhook someone else that I even realized that was an option.

Speaking for someone who plays casually in the noob ranks. Ruin actually helps me with skill checks.
I've played more recently with the tome thing, and honestly because of all the ruin that I run into I've gotten better at skill checks.
So yes, ruin sucks those first hundred times you run into it, but it's actually just teaching players to be better at skill checks.

Only 46 more levels to go...

God, so much this. ^^^ It was nice to have something new to do with the challenges. This huge wait time between each Tome is just... it highlights how bad the grind is.
There's no reason to have the Tomes be released more than one week apart. Most games would just release them all at once and let players decide their own pace, because there's really no reason to time-gate everything. But two and even three weeks between Tomes? That gives players a lot of time... in which they can think about just how not fun needing 8k XP per Rift Fragment is. Oops.
Worse is that completing all the Tome challenges doesn't complete the Rift. It should've been designed so that if players completed every single challenge, it would complete the Rift, and earning Rift Fragments with XP is just there to help players when they're unable to complete some of the challenges. That would be more fun and more reasonable than what we got.
Maybe in the future they can work out length of tomes by difficulty. So maybe give us more time with the tomes as they get harder? Like from what I understand we will have the same amount of time with the fourth as with the first....but the first will never close, cause I'm sure you can go back and do them whenever.
Anyways...I just enjoyed the challenges as well...and now I'm just waiting

I believe a decent number are starting to depip since the reset is almost a week away.
Personally ive gone past my usual rank comfort zone (9) and from that point its not just harder for myself to play killer (im not that great) but it also becomes much less enjoyable due to the 6 levels above/under rule.
Means i get to play with low ranked reds. Which often times just feels like they run circles around me when it comes to the difference in skill level. And some times its not just the obvious skill gap, but the bm and toxicity that makes me resort to meme games where i dont necessarily kill anyone or am actively trying to sacrifice anyone. Just want to depip back to a rank where the game is not only fun but adequately challenging.
Thanks. That actually makes sense.

You can heal yourself and it counts towards the challenge. Just saying in case you get more survivors like that.
-
So, I cant remember when exactly I got the game, I only play it casually and for events if they peak my interest.
I remember some event where the community as a whole had goals to achieve, to unlock skins, do they still do those?
-
It counts when you just sacrifice them as well.....ask my level 1 freddy
-
I dont think I have that many hours. But I'm not that great either lol.
Especially if I'm a killer, where the survivors let me know by consistently tea bagging at exit gates or hatch.
-
As a casual player I am enjoying them.
I do understand that it creating matches where people run for totems or chests, but it's still fun for me.
-
Kill/Sacrifice all 4 for me. If I didnt have it selected because I was trying a different one, it would happen. If I had it selected, everyone brought their toolboxes.
The one I did think I would have more of a problem with was the trapper one.
I dont even know how it happened. But I wasnt going to argue with it telling me it was completed.
-
You can do the others, it doesnt lock you out if you do all the survivor ones first and then go back for killer ones, or vice versa.
-
Friendly teabagging?
Is that a real thing?

I had a bad loop of 2 survivor dailies in a row (I do play one a day for them but still do more killer) so I feel you :D
I dont mind them, most of the time. It's just the one I guess I suck at lol, like the chainsaw. I don't think I've ever hit anyone with anyone's chainsaw. Or hag traps, blinks, to be honest I guess i justbsuck as killer haha

@S_Panda said:
Perhaps if you 'own' more killers than survivors you will, but I'd like to assume it goes "chicken or fish" before asking how it's cooked.
Imm assuming I own about the same. The only dlc I dont have is the strangers things one.
-
So what do the levels mean? So if I miraculously complete every single challenge from tome 1 to 4, I would still have to play a few extra games to get all the stuff?
I'm not complaining, just honestly curious how it all works. It's a little confusing to me.
-
By cpu I meant xp. I was just hurriedly typing as I was being chased lol

Read this and just picturing a Bubba who's having a hard time figuring out the purpose of a chainsaw.
Then you might have played against me recently lol

"M1" is referring to the button killers use to attack on PC. (This analogy works on consoles too if you just say "R2" but its typically just referred to as "M1" also. Just like how a console player may say "AFK" even though they are not using a keyboard.
What the reference to "M1 Killer" means is a killer who doesn't have a power that is effective in a chase. For example Plague has her vomit that causes a build up of damage on a survivor until they become injured (it also prevents healing aside form using a "cleansing fountain" found in the map) so if no one heals then Plagues power becomes useless because everyone is already hurt and her power no longer helps he in the chase, and she only has "M1" to attack.
Another example would be Wraith. His bell allows him to turn invisible but it doesn't actually cause any harm to the survivors meaning he has to uncloak and use "M1" to hurt them, thus making him a "M1 Killer".
Hillbilly can use his power (chainsaw) to down survivors and can also use it as a threat (pretend to charge up) to confuse survivors into making a wrong move. He can also use his power to gain lost ground on survivors he is chasing making his power useful and allowing him to harm survivors in a chase without relying only on "M1".
Thank you for clarifying that
-
Is removing the auric cells an option for them?
-
So I'm new(ish) or maybe the better term is casual?
Either way, what does M1 mean? I've seen it used a few times and have no idea what it is referring too.
Just to be more of an idiot, do you mean cleanse like a totem, or cleanse like when you wash your face in those fountains?
-
So ummm....is there an easy killer to get 4 kills with fir the challenge? I get close as the pug, but one always manages to get away.
I'm guessing I'll just keep plugging away at it
-
I've seen on here that sacrifices count. I think I saw that disconnects do too.
-
I'm sure they are just easy to rope the casual player like me into doing them.
It worked.
-
So would I be safe to assume once the double bliodpoints thing is over...it will be quicker? I guess I'm wondering what the normal queue time is.
-
Pretty sure you have to go through the exit gates. I got it the other day and escaped through them.
-
Thanks. That actually explains everything for me.Jack11803 said:Bloodpoints cap is a million. That only gets ONE PERSON to level 35. Inheriting perks requires level 40, and there’s to people. Not to mention having to go through about 200 levels for prestige if you want to main them, not counting the other 200 for perks when they’re prestige 3

Yes, OR Laurie died and her daughter was then stalked in Parts 4, 5, and 6. OR she was never Myers' sister and it just goes from the original to the newest one coming.
Or Myers and Laurie are part of a trailer trash family and you watch Rob Zombie's movies. -
There is also the Laurie Strode that died between the 2nd and 4th Halloween movies which gave way Parts 4, 5, and 6.
Halloween has basically become a choose your own adventure movie franchise.
