58% is cutting it way too close 😳
I can't believe so many people wanted the blue haired girl, I wonder what their reasoning is?
It can't be the heterochromia, because all of the proposed characters have that. 🤔
Well I guess the elderly lady technically doesn't, but she does have two different eyes colors.
I believe thats cataracts.

At some point you have to see how the killer is playing. While there are ways of speeding up repairs, solo repairing a gen is like watch paint dry. I swear at some points the bar doesn't move for nearly 5 seconds.
-
I would be surprised if you said anything new that hasn't been suggested over the last 9 years. That or you will be pitching a completely different game to us.
-
Don't know, was on the Steam forums long before this was created. Same boat though, 5k hours and not playing as much as the first 2k.
-
Depends which side you give it to.
-
Why do we always talk about tunneling as though it's the first time it's ever happen or that it is some how worse this time? It's the same ideas over and over again ignoring the feedback over and over again.
-
Why is it always a spider? How about a rat or snake.
-
That would be taking away a qualityof life feature. Many survivors spend time selecting perks and items during this time.
It would also suck if
- Waiting for a queue while messing around with perks or another survivors and get thrown in a lobby with no perks.
- Have to lock in and do nothing while waiting for an available lobby.
-
If I could get the Devs to forget and stop breaking my main with pointless changes and bugs, I would be so happy.

I chose old lady because I figured the cute blue hair would win. 😆 This is a surprise.

Well, to be entirely fair, we're not talking about a game that's very fair to begin with or even properly "organized". When the game was more chaotic, entitlement certainly existed but it didn't manifest the way that it does now. I think in many ways, going next was the Survivor variant of camping/tunneling/slugging or 3-genning (when it was more aggressive). They're ways of exerting control over the trial that fall outside of fair play. The only real difference post-anti-go next is that one side is not allowed to do that while the other still is. While you have your anecdotal evidence that trials were ruined by giving up, I have my own that trials were and still are ruined by Killers tunneling at 5 gens. Except the former is bad and the latter somehow isn't (both by BHVR's and the community at large's examples). 2025 sought to address going next and camping/tunneling/slugging and only addressed one. To me that's pretty cut and dry.
Now we can agree to disagree on that front, but my ultimate stance is that this one-sided balancing is not good for the game.
If we are going to end on, DBD is unbalanced so we should just have a free for all, then there's no point to the conversation.
Anyone who is not freshly new, knows what they are signing up for before pressing ready. The die has been cast and outside cheaters and exploits, the player has agreed to play the match knowing how it could play out.

I like the double standard on this topic :D
So abbandon works if the following is in play:
- All Survivors are on the ground or hooked (game doesn´t recognize if someone could pick themself up/unhook themself or a boon is there)
- Survivors get picked up 2 times (the actual game point why this happend doesn´t count)
- You are the last Survivor in the match (I don´t know if this is a bug but I could abbandon my last games running to the opend gate
- No Gen was completed for 10 Minutes
Reasons which I read on this forum why survivors should be allowed to leave a match:
- Game feels unwinnable
- Getting a specific Killer
- Getting a specific map
- Getting a Killer 2 or more times in a row
- Killers which cause Phobia like Clown or Plaque
- Teammates are trash at looping
- Someone reached 2 hook stage
- Someone has a Ping over 50
Reasons Killer want to abbandon
- Bully squads
- Outmatched
- Gates are open and all Survivors are waiting to tbag the Killer
From all these topics I see only one which could be argued with why you should be allowed to leave the game, since the game is most likely over and this is the Gates thing for the Killer side but in all Forum Posts about these I read the following. "No You could still get a Kill so there is no reason to abbandon." Yeah… in OPs discussion. The Killer could still lose the chased survivor and he goes for an unhook or the pick up. All gens get done and you escape.
These are the same storys just from the other side. So… I don´t get the "You could still archive something excuse." Just be honest.
The Killer wants to get his 4k as long as it may take while the survivors don´t want to miss out to rub their victory into the Killers face.
It's bad when both sides do it. Back when matches were hosted by killers, yhe killer DCing was just as criticised.
As for this
Gates are open and all Survivors are waiting to tbag the Killer
It was in responce to this to keep all things equal
All Survivors are on the ground or hooked (game doesn´t recognize if someone could pick themself up/unhook themself or a boon is there)

No offense, but I like that so much better than the person intentionally letting the killer kill them because they want out.
Same result.

I still kind of feel bad for instigating that whole conversation.
But like, BHVR shouldn't have been doing anything with NFTs in the first place.
NFTs are one of the things I'm glad no one talks about anymore.
Sad thing about this list are names we don't see around here anymore. Hope they moved onto better games.

just like survivors don’t face ghoul every game, killers aren’t facing 4 man gen rushing swfs every game. We remember the bad games more because of negativity bias. Killers don’t have it that bad and survivors don’t have it that bad. Are there edge causes that are stupid and unbalanced? Yes. But it goes for both sides.
Yes, it does. I don't make the claim every match is a depip squad. Certainly many years ago it could feel that way and arguably was. But today's DBD is not like that.
Everyone's perspective starts when they first start playing. My experiece from 9 years ago and all the changes since then will be different than someone with only three months of play time. To someone with a hundred hours, sure some survivors will seem like a bully squads. To me they are nothing more than trying a little too hard to be impressive.
Don't blame a survivor for trying to survive.
Don't blame a killer for killing.
-
They don't actual face them every match, it's just an easy post to make because to dismiss it just gains you ridicule. Out of the three, Ghoul is the one I see more often but not as much as people make out. Think the most killers I've seen are Huntress, Pinhead, Knight, Mastermind, and Ghostface.

It happens to me all the time; nothing will remedy that issue. If a Survivor wants to leave, they literally go. Some actions include: AFK, throw a tantrum, burn pallets, make noise, sandbag, etc. Or my fave when The Killer has Awakened Awareness and the Survivor isn't wiggling. Idle Crows do nothing for Survivors, but help The Killer. What can I do if someone has a murder of crows on them? Nothing. The real issue is that no one wants to discuss the why; it's always about more punishment, which clearly isn't working.
"Clearly not working" is when they disable it and survivors quit on a dime more often. It does have an affect just not against those that shouldn't be booting the game to begin with.

How better to nerf a killer by comparing it to the strongest killer.

The one already dead won't care. The other two know the game is over anyway with one dead and one downed at four gens. (I assume that's what OP meant by "4 gens down"?) So yeah, OP isn't upset that they were "the first one hooked" because they weren't the first one hooked.
My response was geared to the statement.
Because the devs are only concerned with The Killer's experience and time!
-
Face the same killers over and over is what drives people to complain about them not being fun. That's why new chapter killers get many post about OP or tired of seeing them every match. Strong killers or fun to play killers are always at the top of players hate list. But no matter if it's an S-tier or F-tier, some one is going to be upset with them.
-
Best not hang around here. It will corrupt you.
-
049 could be added, but better off as a plague skin.
-
Yeah, its a hot take.

Because the devs are only concerned with The Killer's experience and time! Everything they do is from The Killer's perspective and consideration. The bulk of changes for the past year have been solely about The Killer, so this is really no different.
How about the experience of the three survivors left to do 5 gens because someone was upset to be the first one hooked?
-

I know the feature is there to stop people from going next, but with 4 gens down, one dead, one downed, and one in chase. Im on my first hook. Allow me to try to 3%, the game is almost over why am I still blocked from trying to unhook?
If its almost over you can hang on for a little longer.
-
Either its a fun killer that everyone wants to play. Thus, survivors will post <new kill> every match complaints. Or its a meh killer and everyone switches back to their normal mains after getting the achievements.
-
It just needs to go back to the way it was. Pointless nerf, imo.
-
Any buff that actually makes them stronger will be met with backlash. Survivors don't really care about weak killers being stronger. Just strong killers being weaker.

After the "fix", the nurse is even worse than before. Did the devs not prove what they fix before is goes live?
Yes my thoughts exactly. After seeing the patch notes I thought things would be better. But no, even with 60ms ping I'm seeing rubberbanding as before it would only of been when I was above 100ms.

It’s clear that DC penalties are still not harsh enough
They should to be queued with each other until they learn how to play with others.
-
0.25 is fine and you should be happy to have it.
It used to be the case where regression would stop once it hits a quarter segment. ie kick a gen at 80% it will stop at 75% requiring another kick to continue to 50%.
-
When Netflix decides to pull their licence again new players can just play Dracula.
-
I voted for the large head as well.
-
If they outline killswitch requirements then when something happens outside those that requires the use, people would just complain. If you get complaints both ways why place limits or obligations on yourself?
-
Asking for a spider is practically a meme at this point.
-
The term interactive seems to mean many hoops needs to be cleared to injure a survivor.
-
I didn't have any issues with the old version. Maybe it was the issue with hiding and not doing anything on purpose that caused the changed. In which case their are better ways in solving that issue.
-
I'm not sure what we should be testing. The new flashlight class?

No such thing in my teammates in eu region and most of them braindead console players at mid-high mmr and killers always p100 against us sweating like no tomorrow tunneling from the start so annoying
I don't believe that's an argument you want to be making. Why should we be handholding incompetence? Braindead teammates should not be used to shackle the killer.
The crux of you issue is latency not the killer. EU servers service many counties which many are very far away from eachother. High latency will always have negitive affects on online gaming because it's not possible for two players to see the same game state as the other.
This video does a good job explaining it. You can start at 1:28

We doing S+ now?
Hate to break it to you but this game isn't balanced on the top tier. Releasing a strong killer doesn't suddenly make survivors better at escaping M1 killers. You talk about pallet density without knowing how dense pallets really were. Survivors had pallets within pebble distance which each of them being safe. What you have to deal with now is a fraction of what it was when Nurse and Billy were the only "viable killers".
Bully squads have lost much of their tools. Yes, survivors can still torment low skilled killers. But this isn't the grade based match making it once was where you can lower your rank on a dime.
At some point it needs to be asked, "is this a skill issue?"
-
Too late. With the license gone changes become very difficult.
-
They are on break. You will need to wait until next year.
Stop tunneling this topic. They are already testing ways to "fix" it.
-
Yes its a thing but also can be legit. Survivors can block the prompt and can stand behind you blocking the animation from playing.
When its a cheat, most of the time, you will freeze in place after pressing space to hook. The survivor will continue to wiggle and break free.

The perk is fine the killer is the one that's broken
In terms of impact to the player base, removing the perk over a killer is the better choice.

The problem is the killer itself not the perk it only makes sense to Killswitch Dracula
When it's between a killer and a perk, the perk should be the first to go.

Tryhards don't want competitive. They want to steamroll the other side. They will take the path of least resistance and play against casuals. Casual mode will not be kumbaya everyone plays nicely, it will be competitive mode #2.
