It might sound stupid ... But can we get ping system like Apex Legends has? You can ping that here is generator, i need healing, killer is there etc. etc. Pings would not spawn on a map, and can be obstructed by environment ... I mean. As others said, without good info for solo survivors, game cant be balanced around SFW and gen rushing. Because solo survivors dont have as much of an advantege.
Or simply add in-game voice chat or normal chat? Would work too? With chat message shortucts?
Way too much info for survivors, this can be abused by swf as vocally describing an area is quite difficult but pinging a location will make it way too easy. You can easily ping hex totems too which is a straight nerf to killers

This is actually not a bad idea.
You can start of by making these perks baseline:
Survivor: Bond, Empathy, Kindred
Killer: NoEd, Ruin
Change like this would help solo survivors work on par with SWF teams, and Killer gets perks that force the "secondary objective" and slow the game down.
That means Dwight, Claudette and Hag need new perks.
-
As a survivor main, I couldn't care less with I lost an item
-
Doing a second objective is a get idea for players who already know how to play the game. The problem with a second objective is that new players already struggle with doing gens and chases. Giving another objective will make it extremely harder for beginners, especially during Rank Reset.

What is your proposal?

Another killer greedy for kills

Before you do gens, know your surroundings first, is there a loop near by? Window escape? Pallet?

If we can get 2 survivors, could we get 2 killers in the future?

You've given me an interesting suggestion

What?! They didn't have any of that when I went to MGM Studios! They didn't even have the Terminator scene back then T_T
All we got was E.T., King Kong, Jaws (which ruined everyone's cameras), and Back to the Future, which was a movie not a ride.
You got the wrong theme park my friend xD You went to Universal Studios, MGM has Indiana Jones, Aliens, Twilight Zone, Rock n Roller etc.

That sounds weird, doesn't it? Why does Disney own Predator? I mean, I get it from a business perspective but imagine hugging a friendly Predator at Disney World.
They used to be a children/family company, but now they're just as money hungry as every other predatory business. It's sad.
Fox owns Predator, Disney owns Fox. I think that would be jokes a kid hugging a Predator xD Maybe not a Magic Kingdom but MGM studio has a Alien Ride
-
Just give everyone in the game minimum black pip and extra bloodpoints.

That doesn't affect what the Devs can and cannot get.
Behaviour would have to negotiate with Disney to get Predator BUT if this new predator game is a success (Don't think it would) that license is either not sharing or going to cost a lot which I don't think behaviour would pay.

Increasing Gen times is a nerf to Solo Survivors. Let's find a way to buff solo survivors first before we change the game-plan.

Steve has become a fan favourite, even though in Season 1 he's a high school teen bully but later in the series he becomes a protecting older brother who has a good relationship with the kids. I would of prefer Johnathon and Nancy, maybe they could add him later.

@DudeDelicious Stranger Things has no horror in it whatsoever though. It has gore, and maybe the occasional jumpscare, but it's a kid's show. I watched horror as a child. I had nightmares of Jason Voorhees chasing me in a field of corn(funny how we have a corn field in DBD). I had nightmares of Freddy and Michael Myers and Chucky terrified me. I have friends whose 3-5 year olds watch Stranger things with them and aren't the least bit scared.
I get what you're saying, in my eyes Horror is something scary like Nightmare on Elm Street, IT, Halloween, The Ring etc. But nowadays Horror is vastly big, did you know Jaws is a horror? Don't Breathe? A Quiet Place? Crawl? The films I listed aren't scary whatsoever but are listed as Horror. If you look at IMDB the genre for Stranger Things are Drama, Fantasy, Horror.

They hang out at a villain pub of course!

I would of prefer Johnathon and Nancy, could of had a love perk that works together.

Alright, people have been talking about NOED for years, and ever since it became a hex a foolproof way to counter it was to cleanse all totems. What if I told you, you don't have to cleanse all totems?
It's actually really simple. Think about it this way, there are 5 totems on the map. Perhaps 2-3 of those totems are well hidden. The solution is, to cleanse any totems you see that aren't out in the open. Totems in places like cornfields are basically beacons, and don't get me started on that one in the Asylum. If you leave those totems and return to them after all gens are done, you and your team have a chance to spot it and cleanse it without having to waste 80 seconds cleansing all other totems. Not to mention, more points!
The idea is that if you leave out the more visible totems while noting their location and cleansing the not-so-well-hidden totems, your chances of NOED spawning at one of those totems increases. The more people doing this the more likely NOED will be spotted. It doesn't take that much effort to note totem locations. And simply cleansing one well hidden totem can up your chances of finding noed drastically.
Work smart, not hard!
I didn't know there are 5 totems per map, that's actually very useful information, thanks!

What, like when MoM was way too strong or OoO
Killers explain too:
DS, MoM, Borrowed Time, SWF, toxic survivors, keys, gen rush etc.
Survivor or killer, everyone explains
-
There's nothing wrong with "Gen Rushing" If a killer is chasing A, it's expected for B, C and D to do gens.
-
There are counter play to it, try expanding your loop plays
-
Dunno, people just can't adapt

We'll Make It! Botany Knowledge, Dead Hard and Bond

Love playing as: Billy and Spirit
Hate playing as: Doctor
Love facing against: Billy, Nurse and Spirit

so do you think it's a balanced perk? to entrust the game of survivors on an RNG factor?
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/627912#Comment_627912
no, but whenever the killer has Ruin it is never a fun game, and if you find it right away, the killer quit
It's very balance, the purpose of the Perk is to extend the game and it does that well. It's quite easy to find them, if you can't find them do gens and practice your hex checks.

Well I know you aren't responding to me. But to make it specifically clear, I personally just want the footsteps of running survivors to be a bit louder, like they were before the Legion's update. I fully agree that walking or crouching survivors footsteps shouldn't make any sound. Stealth should be as effective as it is right now.
I'm fine with running being louder but walking should not make any noises. Maybe in particular environments but majority of the time it shouldn't make noises.
-
50 is too little, in a month they can only get 1500 shards, not even enough for a weekly shrine.
I like the idea, but perhaps they could do this as rank rewards instead.
Rank 1 4000
Rank 2 3000
Rank 3 2000
Rank 4 1000
Rank 5-8 750
Rank 9 -12 500
-
Spirit, unless she has prayer beads

Is it possible to get around quicker? Do you have to lung to get around or can you casually walk around?

Again, moving your feet makes sound. I have no problem being stealthy as survivor, you just need to start hiding as soon as he approaches.
Hearing a survivor's footsteps will negate any stealth. Hiding behind a tree means nothing if the killer can hear you walk away. Defeats the purpose of stealth.
Let me extend it, if YOU yourself were hiding against a REAL killer, you would walk around as quiet as possible so the killer can not hear you. Have you ever considered that all these survivors in the game are doing that exact same thing?
If I had to meet you half way, possibly make the running audio louder or particular environment triggers an audio queue. BUT the killer already has tons of information like scratch marks, trail of bloods, breathing, grunting, even perks help on hunting etc.

It's common sense.... people make sounds when walking. It's pretty ridiculous that killer usually can't hear them now.
Can you explain to me how a survivor can be stealthy if a killer can hear a their footsteps?
Scenario: Trapper is coming towards me, I'm behind a tree, Trapper walks past, I walk around a tree, Trapper hears my footsteps and turns around......
