Again, i'm in the EU. I dont see anyone being "hot garbage" on here. I've been getting way better teams in crossplay off and mostly going against really good nurses and blights.
I'm talking about EU, because it's the server I'm on? I made a comment about EU killers being good.
Like so far EU is the only region I see people saying that has shorter survivor ques at some point. So clearly somethings up over there.
As for what it is, be it trash survivors, good killers, or people feelings. Who knows. Maybe you just have more casuals.

Ok and I'm playing in another region, and so are many others, where that's not the case.
So either the killers in EU are better or the survivors are trash, or some cultural difference is driving people to play killer more. Or its just more people there feel like it.
There's no proof for any of these and I don't understand why you're defending it so hard. You made a baseless claim, I though you were joking because it was ridiculous so I joined in. You said you weren't and I just pointed out there's no proof for your claim and either one would explain the supposed extra killers over there.
Like did I hurt your ego or something? Are you a survivor main?
On the "I don't see it" front:
You won't feel like they're garbage because you're used to it so your threshold for skill would be lower. If your surrounded by trash all the time eventually you get accustomed to the smell and thinks its normal. Same thing happens with games and skill levels.

I'm speaking from experience yes, since EU killers seem to do just fine and q times for survivors are instant.
Are you in the EU to be saying everyone here is bad?
I do have backing, since.... I'm in the EU.... so.... I have EU experience?
But you're making a blanket statement on all killers outside the Eu to say they are worse, so have you played in every region?
Killers in EU could just as easily be doing fine because the survivors are hot garbage, like I said both work.

You're not guaranteed something for just jumping in. You either need a killer to hit you or escape with it on. If a killer can't catch one escaping they are doing something very wrong.
Playing killer I got them all on day one. I don't know, maybe now we are a bit into this event some killers are now having trouble getting survivors who still need to get the rewards. Personally, I'm still getting at least one person during chase who is using them.
I do agree they should have done something that both killer and survivor could initiate.
If the killer hits you or you escape you get it. Its guaranteed unless you jump out yourself.
"Playing killer I got them all on day one."
Not the point.
"I do agree they should have done something that both killer and survivor could initiate."
Then we agree.

nah, EU survivors are so trash killers have it easier there.

she's unbalanced.
A number of people think she should be just because she's on the harder side to play. I somewhat disagree with that sentiment because it completely ignores the other side playing the game.
She should be a little unbalanced, I don't think it should be to the degree it is now where you pretty much just win if you play her well. You should be rewarded for learning her but not to the extent your opponent has no chance of winning, if not close to it.

How so? Survivors have to be hit while in the snowman to get rewards. They just can't jump out again to get it. Sure they can leave with the snowman on but a killer can easily stop that.
if the survivors choose not to enter a snowman, the killer has no way to get the cosmetic. They need survivors to play along to even try and get anything. Meanwhile as survivor you just jump in and you're guaranteed something unless you choose to forfeit it.
They clearly only thought of the survivor side while designing the event gameplay, but what else is new.

I don't want a 5th second chance perk on each survivor. Survivors gain 4 perks and killer gains 1, when survivor perks are already stronger, no thank you. As already established, killer perks clash a lot as well and survivors don't.
This'll just exacerbate the power gap between killer and survivor imo.
-
Not necessarily but the chase music is too damn loud compared to the rest of the game, I'm always concerned I'm going to blast my eardrums out once it starts playing.
By extension it also covers up survivor sounds, so survivors don't need to be louder the chase music just needs to be quieter/adjustable. Also can we change killer sounds that sound like survivors breathing/footsteps? I don't need to hear my own breath as Legion and think it was a survivor thank you.
-
Hag - crouching every time you need to save anyone and chases are non-existent because either there's a trap where you're running or she leaves you. Traps are just a free hit usually and leaving should be obvious why. Camp queen as well.
Freddy - Lullaby is annoying, clocks are a chore, not getting clocks leaves you at a disadvantage and ensures said annoying lullaby. The sleep timer is too short for having to go across the map to get rid of it every time and it getting slowed if you use someone else. Even if you wake up he just puts you back to sleep with a slap anyway.
Myers - His TR is the size of his big toe and no one likes to get no skill one-shot because he 99'd and appeared around a corner because said TR. A camping Myers in tier 3 ensures stage 2 as both timers are 60 seconds base-kit, let alone with add-ons. Certain add-ons make him even more annoying and debatably OP (tuff, tombstone).

If gen speeds are the problem then we should increase the time it takes to complete them. Which is a terrible idea.
The weakest part of the game is solo q. Increasing gen speeds just hurts them even more, without balancing the top level of play. If gen speeds are changed then gen perks will also need looked at.
Decreasing the map size or giving them better mobility to traverse the map will help a lot, without killing solo q.
I don't see how that doesn't also hurt solo q.
Both achieve the same effect, make the killer be able to keep up with gen speeds. Either by making the gens take longer to match the killers slower pace, or making the map smaller to increase the killers pace.
I don't think making gens take longer is a "terrible idea" when most players, afaik, want longer matches. Making maps smaller will leave games short and just help killers keep up.
I don't care which route they take as long as they fix it, but both are a problem and both solutions will hurt solo q.
-
Respectfully disagree. I still dislike her just a little less than before.

@CashelP14 said:
Generator speed isn't the problem. Maps size + lack of mobility is the problem.
Why not both?
The two are tied together, maps are too much for how fast gens are and vice versa.
One or the other needs to be changed to match.
-
Its not either or, its both.
Maps aren't designed for the gen speeds and gen speeds are too fast for maps.
One or the other needs to get changed to match up.

No, throwing the whole game by depleting all pallets just to survivor extra 15 seconds is not a counter.
40-70 seconds - maybe for the first chase, but once there are no pallets on the map - it's 10-15 seconds at most.
If you're using all the pallets in the first chase you're doing it wrong unless that chase is going to last the whole game or the vast majority of it. Like I said you don't just drop every pallet you see. If you try to wait for an anti-loop killer at a loop, you'll have to predrop that pallet immediately and you'll probably get hit anyway and do the same at the very next loop.
You save more time by making them have to play catchup to get into their effective range as much as possible then you use a pallet, thus actually stretching out your resources as much as you can.
But yes, a bad survivor will just predrop every single pallet and use them all up, but we shouldn't balance around bad survivors.

And I simply do not agree because we shouldn't be looking at one section of players.
A good survivor, will (or ideally should) go against a good killer. You won't necessarily have games with a killer that already struggles being played against a good set of survivors.
I don't agree about survivors being the power role either, to be quite honest.
We shouldn't be looking at one section of players, so we also can't screw over the games where there's good players just for the bad ones. Ideally we'd be making changes to help the bad players without making the good ones stronger or at least minimizing how much stronger they get. Adding even more resources would be way too much of a buff when that's already a problem with the current amount once you get to just a decent level.
Yes good survivors should be against good killers, and the the killer usually loses because survivor is stronger. That's a problem as well.
Its widely known and agreed that survivors are stronger than the killer once they know what they're doing and weaker when they don't. There's way too much evidence to say otherwise especially ever since SBMM got put into the game.
The problem with the "killer that struggles" is that it encompasses the vast majority of the killer cast. Every killer outside of Nurse, Spirit, Blight, and arguably 1 or 2 more, are just not viable due to resource amount and time to down compared to gen speeds. That's way too much of the cast that just falls behind.
You can't really fix people not playing correctly and being worse as a result without screwing the other side. The most you can do is try to give them more tools to play better, like a ping/callout system or something. Throwing resources at just one side is just going to screw over killers even harder.
I understand you're frustrated about not being able to loop the new killers, but likewise killers are frustrated that loops and safe pallets are still too strong and plentiful. Throwing more resources in just isn't the solution as far as I can see. Yes it'd be better for the survivors, but killer would be made even more miserable of an experience than it already is.

The same logic can be used against you. All you have to do is hold W and press M1..
If you want a legit response, dont downplay the other side first.
"If you want a legit response, dont downplay the other side first."
This I agree with
" All you have to do is hold W and press M1.."
This isn't viable against good survivors unfortunately, adding more resources would just exacerbate the problem unless you somehow make it only usable against anti-loop killers specifically. Even then you'd have killers who have anti-loop but still loses due to gen speeds and map size, so you'd be making killers who already don't usually win against a team that knows what to do even worse.
Most maps are still currently too big and/or have to many resources for the vast majority of the killer roster. Survivors are still the power role, they don't need more resources at this time.
Maps were reworked to take out literal infinites, but they also have a boatload of safe pallets and windows as well as structures you can loop for a very long time to the point its better to just not even attempt to as killer. So they still aren't where they need to be to start considering making them even stronger.

Predrop pallets meaning getting rid of all pallets within the first chase? Good idea, sounds like a cool counter.
Hold W? Yeah, running in a straight line from a 4.6 m/s killer and going down in 15-20 seconds sounds like a counter too. That's how all rank 20's played back when ranks were a thing.
I didn't say it was "cool" but that's the counter. I don't think anyone likes it. Also I don't mean mindlessly drop them, you can pick and choose when its appropriate.
its a lot more than 10-20 seconds, you're looking at 40-70 depending on most killers. Not sure about exact time on the new one because new but its better than trying to loop an anti-loop killer.
Killers can't down in time to keep up with gens by doing so.

What do you do against a killer you can't loop? It's not like there is any other mechanic in the game that can keep you from dying as a survivor.
Hold W and predrop pallets. Basically you just leave loops and try to waste as much time as possible for your team to do gens by running straight as possible and putting obstacles between the killer and you, which at this time is windows and pallets.

Well thank you for showing me a video about the new killer. I mean we will forget about all the other killers in the game, and the amount of people who play the game and actually loop.
But it's nice to know what sort of person you are. You make me proud to be me and know the people I know.
I could quote every comment that said that you are wrong, but that would just be a waste of time.
I know, I will speak to the wall instead and have a better conversation.
Bruh that video talked about how strong W key was as well and how its about to get stronger, along with all the other post and the other videos (first and last in particular break it down) I shared that are exclusively about W holding in the game at large being a meta strategy. It affect the vast majority of the killer cast way more than the new one. Any killer that's not Nurse, Blight, Artist, Spirit, and arguably 1 or 2 more Struggle with it.
But no you want to nit pick at some of the surrounding content and pretend the rest didn't happen. Like ah yes, all of that is about the new killer, even the majority of it that's from before she even existed and doesn't mention her.
"the amount of people who play the game and actually loop"
Yes people like to loop, how does that change how strong running forward is? Especially against anti-loop killers. Whose ignoring them? Why are you ignoring them? If you want to try an loop the killer than go ahead, but don't try to make the argument that's all you can possibly do when you have a strong alternative. You might not like it but its there. If a killer is specifically an anti-loop killer than you're just shooting yourself in the foot by trying to loop them.
"But it's nice to know what sort of person you are."
What does that even mean? Yes I'm trying to educate you on the meta and the game. I guess that's bad now. Better leave people like you just spouting incorrect nonsense and not even open a dialog because how dare anyone insinuate their multiple uniformed statements possibly be incorrect.
"Holding 'w' is not an option" incorrect
"looping was intended as the way to escape" incorrect. Would have been better were that true, but its not. By extension the whole perspective argument was incorrect since it had a faulty basis.
"holding 'w' is and option, after looping" mostly (2/3) incorrect and also contradicting you original point, you can hold W before, after, or without looping depending on the situation.
"I could quote every comment that said that you are wrong, but that would just be a waste of time."
I literally sent you multiple threads with a bunch of different people saying you're wrong on the first page alone and from the title post. Not just 2 from this 1 thread, but speaking of this thread here are some that mention it specifically:
"Because that's really most of the problem with the hold "w" meta." First page.
A little below my latest response and 3 above from yours someone else said " All you have to do is hold shift, W and A or D" and how its too strong unless they are playing Nurse, making M1 killers just unviable.

Maybe a perk that prevents special abilities from going through walls and windows. Because that's really most of the problem with the hold "w" meta. It's better to run in a straight line from certain killers. You have Nemesis, Pyramid Head, Nurse, Cenobite and the New Killer where they completely ignore loops.
@T0thLewis said:
I've been playing a lot of Killer and I have to tell you that while I'm having the time of my life with Nurse trashing almost everytime, I want to strangle myself whenever I try to play an M1 killer. Hag, Nurse, Spirit, Blight, even Billy with Brutal Strength, Enduring can somewhat deny loops for survivors, but I try to play anything else and unless I bring a loop-denying build, I have no chance with M1 killers at all. It's just absolutely frustrating to play anything else other than Nurse, Blight or Hag right now. Hell even Huntress can be bad sometimes, because she slows down to the walking pace of a snail when she readies her hatchet.
And this is all because survivors rely too much on looping as it is a braindead tactic basically. All you have to do is hold #########, W and A or D and wait for the right moment to press E to dab forward like a cringy kid and drop a pallet to then tbag in front of the killer. Majority of the survivors have no brain capacity when it comes to making intriguing builds.
You're covering your eyes and choosing to be ignorant and unreasonably stubborn at this point. You're ignoring the vast majority of the post. Over the conversation all together you have been strawmaning and eventually just devolving into trying to discredit my character instead of my argument.
Rough order of the conversation in a "you // me" format:
- W isn't an option and looping was intended from the beginning // it is an option, a quite strong one at that and looping was not intended but its how people started playing due to the map design
- ok W is an option but only after looping, the killer is too fast and they don't need to turn, and go watch youtube and you'll see // actually you can do it at other times even without looping, the speed difference isn't big enough to counter it, they do slow down when they turn and the youtubers have stated they know its strong (thats actually how I found out js)
- I'm giving up, so many people have said you're wrong // actually it was only 2 including you afaik and here, I'll give you a bunch of supporting evidence including from youtube and the forums. If you want to bring up numbers, please look at that amount of people who actually agree with me. Please educate yourself on the topic.
- I cherry picked one part of one thing you sent me and pretended that was the whole thing, you're such a bad person for telling me I'm wrong and trying to show me how, my friends just let me be wrong and uneducated you should do the same. I will now insult you // this post
People do not like the hold W meta, its boring and unskillful for both sides. But yeah lets ignore the problem because some survivor players can't even run in a straight line right and die instantly.
Holding W is meta and is strong and is an option. Survivors don't need more resources since they have more than enough available to counter killers as well as alternatives. That doesn't mean you're going to like it, but they don't need it.
If you were just uniformed then that's one thing but you're actively ignoring information.
Heres another quick ~2 minuet video explaining it again.

Playing both killer and survivor, yes I get that killer is faster than survivors, but almost every game I run into sprint burst hold W people who run prove thyself and sprint burst to just sit on gens and then sprint burst to a safe pallet, even if that pallet is far away there is no way I can catch up to them. Even in chases I feel if survivors just hold w they can outrun killers for a good 8 seconds of free chase time until the killer m1's them and hey, free sprint burst and it just encourages them to hold w.
I am not saying survivors SHOULDNT run away at all, I am just saying this needs a balance check because if it has become the meta with 12-26 pallets also spawning all around the map then maybe the survivors base speed or killers base speed needs a touchup. Any ideas/comments/concerns on this? Lets discuss

“Most killers move faster than survivors, so running in a straight line will prove futile.” ~ Timestamp 3:01
Just thought it was funny that BHVR is either unaware or just wants to discredit the “Hold W” meta, where you can sometimes waste like 20-30 seconds of the killer’s time before they are close enough to initiate a chase.
@BenZ0 said:
I also feel that, survivors start to realize slowly by time that just running forward without looping is against most Killers just the smartest strategy. The problem with it is, it is a very boring strategy which removes all kind of skill play in the game but yet it is the most effective one.
But the big question is, how do you want to adress it? Scott Jund made the suggestion to just reduce the map size and reduce the basic M1 hit cooldown and ofc nerf Save the best for last to compensate that which is a good idea imo.
Dont know if that is really the best solution but I agree that this problem needs to be adressed before it is getting abused too often.
@johnmwarner said:
Now obviously there is a lot to be said for great loopers than can extend chases for 3-4-5 gens using jungle gyms and mind games... not trying to make that sound unimpressive or unnecessary.
But a great many players would be so much better just holding W and making distance as often as possible rather than waiting and trying to play every loop.
As killer I’ve often had players run me around a loop once, drop the pallet and take off when I break it. Even if they do nothing special this can waste huge amounts of time. If, IF IF your teammates are doing gens the killer can easily lose 2-3 gens and there are still plenty of pallets to play the rest of the game for everyone else.
Again, learning proper looping is essential to eventually get better but so many players would be better of running straight ahead rather than camping a pallet, eating a hit AND wasting a pallet, then standing there blinding the killer like their favorite streamers do.

I don't get your point. How is running straight with a faster killer behind you, watching you just run straight until you hit a wall, going to help you escape. Surly looping behind walls, jumping windows and using pallets to give you extra space will help better. I have played against "w" survivors, they don't take very long to catch, in you can have a couple before the first gen, however I have looped for 2 or three gens, before losing the killer. If you are a killer that loses to somebody running in straight line then you are not a good killer.
As to the perspective angle, I highly doubt that when the developers came up with the idea of the game, they sat down and thought "I know, we have all the first person shooters, a good game of hide and seek would be great", in that case why have gens, why have tool boxes and med kits, why hooks and why a horror them. You say loops was added, then the hide and seek would have been a very boring game, with just a big field. Spawn in, look over map, found you, next game.
Yes holding 'w' is and option, after looping and when you have made some space, to get to the next loop, to the next window or pallet or just when the killer has lost you.
I personally think you need to sit down with youtube, watch people like Ayrun, JRM, Otz, or the many other DBD Youtubers, as killer or survivor, see how many of them run in a straight line, see if they think that is a better idea.
If you are playing killer and losing people who run in a straight line then you are having a very bad day. If you are a survivor and your play is to run in a straight line then you are probably hit a lot.
As regards to the killer slowing down when switching directions, you just made my point. When you run in a straight line the killer is faster, as soon as the survivor takes a turn, the killer does not have to turn much, they slide, keeping up speed. Go to a loop and the killer is slower, they can't vault windows fast, the can't vault pallets, it takes time to break them or go round.
Because the killer is only 15% faster, so it takes long enough that by the time they get to you the gens are flying. I guess you're calling every streamer and high tier killer player "bad" lol.
The gens are the escape objective, the only thing they intended was for you to drop a pallet and keep running straight. It was poorly designed and thought out, but ask the devs not me.
Looping wasn't "added" its just a byproduct of map design.
" see if they think that is a better idea."
At least a few of them have stated the strength of survivors running forward and just dropping pallets, so maybe you should watch more of their videos and pay more attention. I can link you a scott video if you want, his is the most recent I have viewed..
If the survivor turns a corner the killer also has to turn that corner, they don't turn less. They lose speed either way.
You use the vaults and pallets to keep running forward. It is the meta for a reason. If you care enough search it up yourself about the "hold W" meta. You'll find more info than I can give in 1 thread.

If you lose to someone walking in a straight line when you are faster and have ranged abilities, that is *definitely* a you problem.
Or was this a half-brained attempt to get people to try doing this so you get easy downs? The only time you want to do that is when Legion just frenzy hit someone behind you. You want to just outrun his frenzy. Aside from that, you might as well stand still and go down, cause you're only buying like 10 seconds.
I'm not attempting to get people to do this they already are. Again this is the meta, if you don't know that you're simply uniformed and don't know what you're talking about.
Do you want a video link explaining it more are should I not even bother? You'd probably be better off just searching up the "hold W" yourself because you're clearly not listening to me.

Holding 'w' is not an option for two reasons, the killer is faster and the killer does not have to turn to avoid obstacles, the simply slide sideways. By the nature of the way the game was built, with killer in first person and survivor in third, looping was intended as the way to escape. Loops help the survivor because they have a bigger picture of the surroundings, the killer does not. Survivors can turn and see where they are going before they turn, killers can only see forward. By adding killers who can kill loops, it is changing the games dynamics.
"looping was intended as the way to escape"
Looping was never intended to be part of the game. It came along due to the bad map design. The perspective difference is there because they intended the game to be closer to hide and seek. By the way, killer also slows down for a moment when switching directions.
Holding W is definitely an option. Killer takes too long to catch up, again its literally the meta right now.

The topic is not about killers you can "hold w" against. Which, by the way, is not how you run from someone. You end up strafing a lot as you look behind you constantly. If you lose to someone holding W exclusively, that's definitely a "you" problem.
Ahem. Anyway. The topic is about getting things to interact with the ranged killers. Getting lucky wiggling back and forth to avoid a ranged attack doesn't make you feel like you're skilled, and often just let's the killer catch up to M1. The concern is on ranged killers in general. Fixing terrain so you can't shoot through walls (pyramid head aside) would be a good first step.
I gave you a solution to your problem, holding W in a straight line is literally the meta right now, so that is how you run from someone. The best counter play available to this killer and other anti-loop killers is to leave loops and hold W. If they are anti-loop then stop trying to loop, that doesn't make them unbeatable. Good survivors beat them just fine, so no survivors don't "need" more defenses, the ones they have are more than enough if played correctly.
The Highest tier players in the game are losing to holding W, so no its not a "me" problem lol. If using the meta strat on the stronger side you still can't win against killers, that's a you problem not a problem with the survivors defenses.

Are you saying they are not being held hostage because they can suicide? That is pretty dark, Mr. Penguin.
lol, well yes.
Their other option is to wait for their death.
In a funny way, that kinda fits lore wise.
As far as I'm concerned the only viable solution is to rework the way hooks and hook states operate in a way that disincentives camping without screwing over the killer. That's a lot of hard work so BHVR won't do it.
Throwing an idea out there, a pool of shared team hooks that once depleted all the survivors get sacrificed ala EGC animation, 6-8 hooks and killer wins, you don't have hook states anymore, you can always be saved as long as your team has hooks remaining. 99% of perks don't need to be reworked as no perk requires dead survivors except sole survivor afaik. Killer is pushed to go after others without losing the option of defending from saves and doesn't get punished for not tunneling. Pushes teamwork from survivors.
But nothing like that is ever happening sadly. Very very sadly.

You aren't holding the game hostage, but you are quite literally holding the survivor hostage. Rofl. Like, you can't argue against that.
Their game will end naturally so they're not hostage. Its not more complicated than that.
Does it suck: yes
Is it held hostage: no
Should we work on fixing it: yes

I didn't say to add more pallets, I said that survivors need a new feature in the game to protect themselves specifically against these anti-loop/range killers
Hold w and slam gens, that's already in the game and survivors are already doing it. They are winning games, they don't "need" anything more.
If you just don't like it that's a different convo.

You can't unhook yourself if the killer is standing in front of you facecamping, which is the situation we're discussing. If you have DS, there's an 11.5% chance you can kobe and make it away from the hook. There's an 88.5% chance you kill 60 of the 120 seconds your death would have brought your team to do gens and escape unharmed, guaranteeing the facecamper will catch someone else before the game ends.
There's no agency but to die sooner or die later. I think the issue here is that you're conflating 'held hostage' with the specific terminology meant as a reportable offense, where you leave someone in a position where they can only disconnect. That's not the only meaning of the term. Again, semantics.
No the issue is that you're trying to stretch the meaning onto other things that don't count. In DBD "holding the game/player hostage" is a reportable offense that has a specific definition, hence all the people saying that's not holding the game hostage. The survivors game will naturally eventually end, so its not holding the game hostage. Use a different term.

What if you want to call the attention of a team mate or distract the killer to make them chase you or lose someone from sight for a bit
That's what emotes are for.

Its better than the old system.
That being said it still needs a lot of work.

I wouldn't have listed them if they each didn't have a totem I couldn't snuff today. Which I sent in another ticket. Which my last 24 tickets have just been totems Killer's can't reach on different maps.
Why are you going so far as to lie to defend boon totems?
cleanse =/= snuff
cleanse a hex: the survivor getting rid of the killer perk
snuff a boon: the killer temporarily getting rid of a survivor perk
They're saying when a survivor cannot get to the totem the map gets disabled, but when a killer can't the map stays up. They're not defending boons, they're trying to point out double standards favoring survivors similar to your original post.
-
For fun and BP, that's about it. If you don't have fun doing it there's basically no point to.
Winning in the least amount of hooks possible will always be better than going for 12 if you just go for the win only, but it won't necessarily be 4 every time.
-
I think we should really push survivors to cleanse totems more. I see the blame placed on a perk that has counterplay because people are refusing to do the counterplay. The problem seems to be the players not the perk. We pushed people to focus gens, run the same few perks and hold w, I think we can push them into doing totems more. Its not like survivors are lacking the time either.
I can't say "yeah solo players can't do it" when they aren't even trying to. I run small game a lot and I'm really tired of finding the last totem in clear view right next to a gen one of my teammates did.
However, an idea I can still get behind is like, when the last gen pops you get a token for each remaining dull totem. Every time you instadown a survivor the perk loses 1 token, that way even doing a few dulls on your own you can weaken the perk. 2 instadonws instead of an unlimited amount for doing 3 totems is a significant change. 5 instadowns is still strong as well if they do none. It still keeps the idea of making survivors care about dull totems. Could maybe remove the hex status as well.

I DO care and its personal! Im competitive so i dont want to lose at all. Your telling me that 2k is a win and im saying and will keep saying that its not, its a draw!
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2593239#Comment_2593239
Its really not. You should be getting at least 2 kills on average if your good at the game or 2-3 on average if your really good. I want alot of hooks, as a matter of fact i want 12 hooks a game which is a perfect game! Thats me, im super competitive!
A 2K is a draw, I never said it was a win. I specifically said it was 3+ for it to be considered a win.

What are you talking about? I MAIN KILLER LOL, #########! 2k is NOT A WIN for the final time, your being delusional. In your own world 2k is a win but in reality 2k is half of 4k and is thus a draw!!! 2K means you went even or drew even with them period! Im not replying to you after this because its pointless and dumb at this point...

What you think (that 4k is only a win) works in your own personal world/mind but is nor reality nor facts! 3k or 4k is a win and THATS FACTS! Your statement is an opinion based off your own win/loss conditions which i 100% dont agree with.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2583056#Comment_2583056
Yeah but everyone is different. While i dont disagree with them on that you cant say that win conditions arent a thing anymore because there are draws and status etc (brutal, ruthless, merciless) if these things didnt matter at all they wouldnt be in the game.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2583070#Comment_2583070
What? lol whatever, Killer is not horrible its just that the game is in survivors favor. If playing killer was a "lost" then every game would have 4 escapes... So moving along
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2583266#Comment_2583266
There is a loss condition, its called 3 or 4 escapes! Call it ego but everyone has an ego and dont tell me we dont. If you live in this world you have an ego, if you play certain games you have a ego, theres nothing wrong with it/that its only a problem when you take your ego to put others down or make them feel bad in one way or another thus the egotistical people, egoist, toxic people, big ass ego's etc. Theres nothing wrong with setting wi/loss conditions for yourself because it just means you have expectations when you play and or are competitive!
I didn't say they don't matter, they're just not win conditions. Maybe a personal goal for the player, but not a win is all.
Before we didn't have one defined so everyone had their own. Now we do so that's the win condition.
Like in a fighting game, the objective is to defeat the opponent. If you say "well my goal is to get them at least to half and pull of a 16 hit combo", that's great for you if you do, but that's not a "win condition" for the game.
Honestly at the end of the day, go for whatever makes you happy. If you have fun just raking up blood points or w.e. and you don't care if you technically "lost" by doing so then do it.

I'm not low on mmr im am about to get iredescent in a couple levels
Your MMR is not your grade, you have no way to see your MMR afaik. If your teammates are consistently that bad its most likely low mmr, but we have no way to check.
-
The Devs already said in the Q&A that a win is just kills and escapes with 3+ kills being a win for the killer and every survivor winning individually if they escape.
Different individual win conditions aren't really a thing anymore imo, they said what a win is in their game.

Myers is like Doctor. He's low tier for sure, and heavily reliant on specific perks, but he can shine in the right circumstances.
Hillbilly isn't exactly weak - he's just super, super janky to play. Even moreso than Oni, pre-rework Bubba and Blight.
Myers on the Lower half sure, but not near the bottom.
As for Hillbilly, janky yes I agree, but I've seen people put him in like, D tier or call him trash now and I'm just like wat.

If they use their power well, it’s not a lose lose situation.
If you play against their power well, it's not a lose lose situation.
At least not all or even most of the time.
It doesn't matter how well the killer uses his power, it will always have a visual indicator, sound cue, restricted movement, short range, startup, a delay, and a cooldown whether you fire it or not. None of this is affected by the killers skill and these are what give the power counterplay in situations.
Play against him like huntress or Clown, predrop the pallet before he's in range. Just like Huntress, at a certain range they're probably going to hit you if you animation lock yourself. You can actually dodge his shots better since it tells you where its going before it even starts traveling and only has 8m range. You can waste a lot of their time if they go for power hits and you're across a pallet or window already.
Pallet greed will get you hit, do not greed the loop or pallet. Try to avoid vaulting if they're within range if you can and mind game if he's already close.
At a certain point every killer will hit you eventually and put you in a lose lose. You just do what you can to minimize how often those situations happen. That doesn't mean every killer is too much, he still struggles against any decent-good team.
