How long have you been playing this game, OP?
-
The other addons aren't really worth using still.
And it's stupid how you get less cooldown using the new chewedpen/addressbook combo
-
On your environment indicator point, I wish the environment decayed near PH.
-
Gutting one of the weakest killers in the game. rip
-
Just don't sweat
-
So you were watching old videos of Blight's release?
Blight was ######### terrible on release. Why don't we roll back all the changes and fixes they've made for him and see if you still think he's a strong killer.

Question: I haven't tried this challenge yet, but the instructions make it sound like you just need the killer to drop a survivor while you have Power Struggle equipped. Does the survivor who gets dropped have to be you?
No. Just have the perk equipped and pallet/flashlight save someone.

have you spent time playing him? remember when spirit , blight, and twins where considered bad at first. take the actual time to learn the killer. everyone is so fast to judge.
@calem said:
Remember when Blight was released and everyone called him "bad"? Just give it some time
Hate it when people say "remember blight/twins at release?".
Twins and Blight were terrible at release.
Twins was literally broken and unplayable. A million viktor bugs. A million viktor counters. Literally none of her perks worked.
Blight, almost the same. You'd collide on every ######### thing from three foot away and when you actually wanted to collide on something, you'd slide right ######### past it. Issues with not being able to use his rush, his POV being lower than even hag's despite being tall as #########, etc.
Pinhead imo is ok. A bit on the weaker side. Games can last a long time because of the chain hunts but his chases can take a lot of time due to what was mentioned in OP. Use your power? Oh you were standing still while the survivor was running away. Hit your power? Oh, the chains are ######### broken in less than a second and now the survivor is even further away than before you used your power.
-
Deadlock. Slows down gen progression and could herd the survivors into 3genning(or herd them away from 3genning if they were 3genning themselves alreadY? lol)
-
People don't play this as a horror game.
-
One killer vs Four Survivors. The Killer needs more advantages to prepare with.
Killers are all unique and rely on their unique powers. Survivors not. This makes killers very easy to counter.
- ie, back before it was patched out and people used programs to see what killer the killer was playing so they can set up beforehand to counter the killer. No [BAD WORD] fun or fair at all at all.
People wouldn't be dodging SWFs if the game was balanced around SWFs
and the Killer is the killer. The killer is literally stalking the survivors at the campfire in the main menu. Makes sense the killer would be aware of things beforehand.

So, let me get this straight:
tunneling, camping and slugging are perfectly legit and fair tactics, but saboing the hook, body blocking, flashlight and pallet saves, ds, power struggle, flip flop etc are not?
Amazing lack of reading comprehension

You're doing it wrong

I think you missed the part where it LITERALLY doesn't work for a lot of players, I'm on last gen console and tried to use DH after unlocking it teachable only to find out it freezes my entire game if I do, so that perk when straight in the bin for me lol. Sprint burst is king
That's not an issue with the perk's power but the game itself. The perk is literally one of if not the best in the game. Just because the game has performance issues doesn't mean the perk is incredibly strong, especially those people not experiencing the performance issues.
-
"what the #########?"
and
"god dammit"
because that's what I mutter to myself whenever I see them stuck and have to go kill them.
-
???
-
Think I've only ever interacted with the zombies twice as survivor.
Once, on Bedham I was rounding the school building and about to use the loop at the car but then noticed a zombie there. I instead kept running and hopped the fence.
And then one time as a survivor on a cornfield map I think. Me and another survivor were trying to finish up a gen. A zombie wandered by and I distracted the zombie away and the teammate popped the gen.
Otherwise it's like they literally don't exist.
On the otherhand...
I've played a lot of Nemesis during the event because I was leveling him and had a bunch of cakes on him. Almost every game at least once, I had to go kill a zombie who was just staring at a wall or nothing for extended amounts of time.
-
Zombies are getting dumber and dumber.
-
Yeah Kate and Yui got completely fooooooooked with their model updates. Don't think I've played a single match since the update.

I run kindred, decisive strike, dead hard or sprint burst, and borrowed time because I am that desperate. I am tired of losing in the game and in real life. If you are struggling with looping at there are tons of videos on how to improve on that aspect. I think I'm just "special" because its seems like anyone who has played for a year or more can reach red ranks. Something is clearly wrong with me
Take off dead hard, decisive strike, borrowed time, and sprint burst and learn how to play without those perks.
The best way of improving is recording your games and disecting where you ######### up. Also posting for us to see to help point out the things you are ######### up on.

The only change he need is windup time period. And if only for like 0,5-0,75 seconds, but his quickscope is simply stupid.
So making an already weak killer even weaker?
-
Yeah there are pre allocated spots for the hatches to spawn. You just gotta remember them all and then patrol them when needed.
-
Kate and Yui got ruined.
Feng can be fixed with a little work.
-
Don't worry about stalking all the time. Mixing the hit and run with the stalking is good.

As soon as I was unhooked, I ran to the other side of the map. Once there I didn't hear a terror radius so I figured I was safe to heal, but then Ghostface appeared out of nowhere around the corner and downed me. The killer just made sure that he got out of sight from the other survivors, activated his power, and just followed what was left of my scratch marks and blood trail.
Maybe he was wondering around and saw your scratch marks and followed them.
Maybe he was wondering around and heard you healing and downed you.
How are you so sure that the Ghostface was just tunnelling you?

Come to find out they were tracking me the whole time. It was a Ghostface so I never heard the terror radius so I thought it was in the clear to heal, but lo and behold I wasn't. And since healing yourself doesn't do anything to benefit the team and isn't considered an objective, I think DS should at least guarantee you that.
How do you know that they were tracking you the whole time?
-
I really can't believe how many people there are with like thousands of hours of only one role.
-
@SweetTerror said:

I've had instances where I'll go clear across the other side of the map, start to heal myself, only to find out that the killer was tracking me the whole time and down me. And because I started the healing process, DS deactivated.
I don't know, I just thought that maybe it could allow survivors to do that much. But if it's still considered too powerful to let that pass then ok I guess.
Were they tracking you the whole time or did they just run into you again?
-
Yeah this thread seems less like bait and moreso someone who just doesn't know how to play
-
More perks like NOED, Devour Hope, Blood Warden
Things that really makes people ######### their pants like those perks when they proc.
-
Start with and play whichever one resonates the most with you.
-
Yeah Hysteria is pretty good. Probably my favorite Perk from the Resident Evil chapter.
-
Just get good

Okay. It's temporary and we all know it. Not sure why you felt this was necessary.
There are many "temporary" things in dbd that have been here for year+.

You can be a fan of horror w/ anxiety, stop gatekeeping ty
What
I'm saying anxiety is something you should be experiencing with horror
-
Almost as if it's a horror game or something
-
Incredibly annoying when you're Nemesis and they non-stop get stuck on ######### or stand there and do nothing.
-
Being able to put this perk to use means your teammates are all dying.

really play with your food is bad? i would think that increased movement speed for just losing a chase would be really strong
I only use PWYF on my Tombstone Myers.
-
Zombies were made too stupid for the release.
-
People hate how he looks. lol
Pharmacy really is a great alternative to self-care.
Wake-Up is pretty powerful and can often mean the difference between getting out alive or not but it's a perk that will only see use at the very end of the game.
For awhile I ran a late-game build with Spine Chill, Wake Up, Hope. No Killer was beating me in the 1v1 with powered gates. lol
-
It's too bad we can do nothing about it.
They've already patted themselves on the back after extending the event for everyone but those people who can't play the event.
Good job BHVR!
-
Biggest Tip?
Don't Die.
-
Like a year ago I did some stats(kept track of perks/killer/killrates) in 100 of my solo red rank survivor games.
Coulrophobia, Cruel Limits, Fire Up, Gearhead, Hangman's Trick, Hex: Retribution, Hex: The Third Seal, Lightborn, Mad Grit, Overwhelming Presence, Predator, Surge, Territorial Imperative, and Zanshin Tactics
Those perks got no play time in any of those 100 games. Pretty obvious why those perks saw no play.
-
Against good survivors it's a bad strategy.
Tunnelling is good when the survivors are bad or there's one bad survivor with 3 good survivors. You tunnel out the bad one and leave the 3 good ones at a disadvantage.
Now if all 4 are good, whoever you are tunnelling is gonna loop you too efficiently, you might not even be able to get them on death hook by the time the survs get all gens done.
But as we know, most survivor players are complete ######### at the game.
-
It's because all the survivor mains are trying to farm cakes and BP as killer for the event. lol
-
When the events are over. Everyone, like you, is playing killer for BP and hoarding cakes.

I gave another option, no comment on that? Also, you're always welcome to open the gate yourself as killer.
The fact you even offered that is enough to disregard everything else.
-
Oh yes... let's have a killer perk that activates as the Survivors are literally running out the gate.
-
Definitely needs to be reduced and then the cooldown addons nerfed a bit in compensation. This will allow more flexibility/variety with Ghostface addon usage instead of double cooldown addons being his best kit.
He definitely needs another buff somewhere, too. It's too easy for good teams to just constantly knock you out of stealth and then loop you for days as you have nothing else to help you in chases.
