instead of complaining here, try using your eyes in the lobby, they can be seen
Not most of the time. Survivors cosmetics also cover them up!
-
Meg would turn into the best survivor possibly. Even tho it's only 3% it already messes a little with loop times.
While Bubba would become the greatest slugger.
-
Doesn't it open it every minute to max 6 rank diffrence if you're not finding a match in a long time? Don't quote me on that.
-
They don't do that because the Entity™ doesn't allow them to. Or something like that?
Except Ash. But Ash is Ash.
-
That's a pretty cool idea in general tbh.

Pair it with Lullaby and it will demolish newer players, the reason it got nerfed in the first place or nevermind scratch what I just said. Even without Lullaby it would destroy them. It's a freaking perk, it shouldn't assure you a win, and that at any rank.
I would still rate it 5/10 because the first effect paired with another smaller one would actually be a better compromise.
Atleast it would have to be paired with something to demolish newer players (While also being another hex)
But i could agree that 15% is a tad too much.
-
Then go play killer!
Or run unbreakable if you're slugged that often
-
I like it ... but also dislike it because it only goes on cooldown when you hit someone.
-
a) There would be the "best" survivor.
b) Identity V already kinda does it but imo they do it better.
-
@JacksonWise Tbh, people don't want to let go of old ruin because a) the gens speeds are super fast and b) old ruin was the best perk from stopping that.... unless it got destroyed in 10 seconds (which they didnt fix btw)
-
did also die on his first hook, which happened to be right after the last generator was powered. Jimmy receives an iridescent Lightbringer emblem, a gold Benevolent emblem, a bronze Unbroken emblem,
Nitpicky i know, but wouldn't that still grant our little Jimmy Silver Unbroken still?

The odds of something like that ever happening is unbelievably low. you would have to get unhooked in terror radius then get healed within 15 seconds then the killer would have to hit you 2 times in the remainder of that 15 seconds just to get BT to go off. On top of that you would already have to have some or all of your mettle of man stacks to take another hit. Balancing a perk around 1 in a million encounters is a really good way to have a bad perk.
Alrighty then.
Health State - Injured State - Styptic Agent - MoM - Dying State.
And still, i do think MoM Activating when Deep Wounded shouldn't happen. It maybe just be mine opinion but whatever.
-
No point in cooldown, how far would it go for, wouldn't you just be able to strafe it?
-
Every single game has become a game of find the totem and not get any gens done. It’s clearly way OP I just want to know if they are going to do something about it
Yes, they are changing it. No you didn't have to find it to get gens done.
-
No, because then you could have (in that order)
Health State - Injured State - Borrowed Time - Mettle of Man - Dying State.
That's a lot of states.

Easy counter to that.
3 gens maybe 4 poo within a few minutes, if you're lucky as killer it takes longer than 5 minutes.
So that's about 1 gen left.
Now as killer you simply won't hace any survivors dead in 5 minutes.
Cause search them, hit them 2 times (3 if they use the new insta heals), pick them up, walk to a hook and then hook them.
And than do that a couple of more times.
So there are 4 survivors left and 1 gen and say the new ruin is still up.
1 survivor will keep the kier busy and the other 3 rush the last gen.
Even if the killer go for the gen with the 3 survivors on it, he has to kick it to regress it and waisting his time doing that.
So the 3 are far away by then and working on a new gen.
He say guess the right gen they went to, you still have the solo one who tried to keep the killer busy.
He now just go and finish the gen the killer just kicked.
And by that i would say gg and game over for killer.
Now i played both sides at rank one for so long.
Decided last week to take a break from dbd and I'm glad i did tho when i saw this today
Im just saying how i think they think it's strong.
-
We don't know.
We have to wait till PTB Patch Notes
-
Now again I dont like to call it early but how would Hex ruin be stronger in the late game?
Probably because you have less gens to patrol and force survivors off so it gets more value (from technical view point, but from practical it may be less)

I'm sorry monto but no more slowing down the game "just a lil bit" I'm sorry but even with over 50 days played it's still hard to hit great skill checks with ruin, and considering all the nerds "op" survivor stuff has been getting this is a huge relief so at least we know the devs are trying to make the game feel less annoying for both sides.
It slows the game down just a little bit less.
-
Tbh, we should wait till tomorrow to see everything.
But from just seeing that change it doesn't look good when its still a hex

I never got to play as or against old legion but weren’t some of those buffs the reason they got hit hard in the first place. I do think they should be able to track blood and be able to see scratch marks as soon the cooldown effect starts and not at the tail end. His stun when leaving frenzy is so long that I lose the survivor I was chasing.
Nope. The 1st wave of changes were mostly because: You couldn't really to much when Legion hit you. He would follow you and down you eventually EVEN if it took a lot of time.

Care to give your opinion on how to buff him then or are you just going to leave it that.
Yes.
His "slowing down" ability should be made stronger back again. You could also give it skillchecks or make it kinda similiar to current Doc's - if you stop holding the button it resets.
His Cooldown should get reduced a tiny bit and maybe give him his tracking during FF (or only partially like only blood/only scratch marks) Another idea is to give him super reduced cooldown if he didn't hit anyone (althought that's one risky for obvious reasons) so it could be used for traversing more often.
-
This is not the way it should be buffed.
-
You should try asking them in pregame lobby if they could just 99 gens...
Or do SWF with 3 other people so they know what you're doing.
-
- They should remake how fast you can progress through the rift.
- They shouldn't add Shards (or atleast not that much) to Free Pass slots. (mostly because you can buy characters with those and its just not beneficial for them)
- And i agree with challenge changes.
-
I agree that the grind is/was a disaster. Im only tier 55 and i dont plan on playing 150+ games in 3 days.
They should've done some "last minute" changes so its possible to reach it without abandoning everything you loved but alas.
-
Nah not really.
They should just change their activation methods and some numbers and they would be pretty good perks.
-
Also know, they only need to die in the basement. You can get normal hooks till they death hooks.
-
Because 4/1.
Most survivor would pick survivor sided maps. And there's only one killer.
Unless ofc killers pick the map but then they're jsut gonna pick the killer sided ones.
-
Unless they can somehow "change" what Merciless means, it won't happen. Cause Sony >.>

In 10 match SWF killer close lobby 6 times.
Then just keep trying jeez.
Also do you mind mentioning me if you reply? I seriously don't want to look at this thread every day in case you replied

@slipttees said:
Entering the lobby all at once would prevent the killer from closing lobby.
SWF or not.
Why?
-
I don't know what you want tbh?

I am so tired of looking at the same recycled breaking pallet with double kick animation and the sound that is made during it! This drives me insane! Add more original animations like Nurse's one or Hag's to new killers you add to the game, and it would be cool if you would add new sounds for breaking pallet.
Spirit, Plague, Demogorgon and kinda-ish Oni's have pretty unique animations too,
-
@Hopesfall said:
I also love when the game yells at you "THRILL OF THE HUNT IS ACTIVE" like get the hell out, quit hand holding survivors
... It does that for every hex that affects them.
-
And also, once the killer is unlocked, it'd be nice if the offerings stopped showing up in the bloodweb altogether.
This SHOULD happen. I think it doesn't when you use the in-game store you buy them. Or its just random for some people that it doesn't activate.
-
Someone runs in with BT at the second they're hooked. That hook basically didnt exist and now they're both leaving. oof
-
Up the Ante is way too strong. Unless you meant only Great Skill check progression?
Vigil seems pointless.
This is not Happenning becomes a worse Vigil
Technician It doesn't matter at the end tbh.
Resilence, why not
Insidious aside from cooldown being way too high seems good
Territorial, basically the same as Vigil, aka almost useless
Monstrous becomes Territorial that has 10 second longer cd.
Conditioning looks like a weak idea with only that effect but would possibly become a perk.
Oh Hell No, i would reduce this a bit because Hope exists but its pretty good idea.
Time to Bounce cooould be annoying with a good SWF/survivors. But i think its okay
Help!!, change it to the general max range (128meters) and maybe give other survivors haste of 5/6/7%
Heavyweight, seems veeery bad. But still better than Boil Over
Good Fortune, still doesn't change that luck sucks!
Rage... why? Why not use Unrelenting instead?
Deft Slaughter, looks good. BUT i feel like it removes Lightborn from the game.
Exsanguiantion, This feels kinda bad. And i doubt it would be used ever.
Coverted Prey, omg that's overpowered. (yes, even tho its only for obsession. Because reminder obsession can change now)
I See You, it's a perk but almost at the same level as Im all Ears
Trepidation, becomes a counter for Vigil.... while Vigil is useless BECAUSE most status effects are pernament anyways. It would counter exhaustion mainly.
Hex: White Noise, pretty powerfull not gonna lie. Good thing it's a hex

@Kagari_Leha said:
dont see why it would be op. It takes 2 perks, they lose a stack every time they hit, and they will only have 1 purpose the whole game, and at a moment, you'll get that you just have to not stun them (if you dont get on the first change of obsession).
Well, yeah if you start just stunning them every ten seconds and they got noed on sure now it starts getting scary.
It's the usual combo formula: see Enduring + Spirit Fury.
-
No. I don't remember exact words but they reworked him for a reason.
And what would be the point to keep the old version alive? They would have to do buff and nerfs for that other version too.
-
@Snitz said:
True, there should be no challenges that force you to play a certain way or equip certain perks, they should all be able to be unlocked through normal play, things like hook 10 survivors, chase for a total of 6 minutes, for survivor heal 8 health states, finish 6 gens, all of these unlocked through multiple matches, of course.
But wouldn't that just get boring after a while? There's so much you can do with "general stuff in the game". See dailies for example.
The "unique" challenges should exist, but shouldn't be that opressive to complete.
-
Use Spine Chill instead if you have trouble against stealth killers. It works wonders trust me
-
Luck sucks*
Also no, luck doesn't affect boxes if i recall correctly
-
That would mess up with hitboxes tho.
-
Tbh if they were shadow versions of the other survivors (and were animated too) it wouldn't be that bad.
-
But dont forget to also nerf keys!
