Revert her endgame nerf. Also make combat straps and last will basekit, and make jigsaw box auras invisible to survivors.
-
I had an idea for how to make it better: make any basic attack work for it like it originally was, but increase the required number of hits.
-
Anyone remember when people said that they just needed to remove collision when phasing and then she'd be fine?
-
Do you seriously want to see the alien get pallet looped?
-
Outlast for me. I'd love to see Richard Trager as a killer.
-
Trapper - Off-brand Jason
Clown - Bad Choices

I can't find your psn ID. here's mine : Midori-21
-
Nurse, Spirit, Doctor, Freddy, Huntress.
-
I can't give you a good clown build but Oni, the best build I can think of for him is BBQ, Infectious Fright, Monitor & Abuse, and the last perk is optional. I usually use Pop Goes the Weasel, but Corrupt Intervention is a great alternative. Sloppy Butcher's a good pick as well.
-
I know this isn't really relevant, but I see you have discordance 3 on your wraith. Tip: never bring discordance past tier 1, because tier 1 discordance is best discordance. You'll get a notification of survivors working together every 8 seconds, which is much more frequent than 12 seconds.

Midori-21.
-
WAH! - Not_Queen
-
-
Discordance, Surveillance, Pop Goes The Weasel, Barbecue & Chili.
Never lost a game using this build.
-
Between those 3, definitely Hellraiser. Never cared for the Leprechaun, and Chucky is a doll. He's not scary, and he's way too short. "Oh no! The doll has a knife!" Just kick him.

Completely false!
@ValgeVari An in game report has to have been made, the chat logs are then checked. You can also send screenshots to Support https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us but the in game report is mandatory in all cases.
Oh, my bad. I was just speaking from personal experience but if the devs do actually care, cool.
-
You must be new here. The devs really don't care what people say in the chat after the game.
-
Bill can't get a crown. None of the licensed characters can use crowns.
-
There is a new candyman movie coming out, maybe that's why people are saying candyman's next.
-
I use BBQ, Hex; Ruin, Pop Goes the Weasel, and Surveillance. Never lost a game with this build on Freddy.
-
Does it matter?
-
"Leatherface is underrated and he has a point" - not really. Playing leatherface with his best perks and addons, and ONLY his best perks and addons, doesn't prove that he's underrated. It proves that all killers when using their best stuff can perform well, which isn't a new statement.

This perk and ds are mostly fine as they are now, but when you combine the two its not very fair at all.
One could say the same thing about iridescent head and infantry belt. Alone each one is fine, together it's ridiculous.

it's a meaningless change, it would be strong only with iri head (as it is now), otherwise it wouldn't be so strong, since it would incentive people to use hatchets and reward a good huntress.
Note how I said at the very beginning " I understand that Huntress doesn't NEED this change" I understand it could be meaningless, but that would also mean they could make this change and no bad come out of it, right?

Free hatchets, I'll take them but people will complain.
This is the DBD community we're talking about, where there's always complaining.
-
@YaiPa said:
the reason why huntress is trash it's not because she has to reload, rather her speed (which cause her to be still affected by infinites) and her map dependance (cause big hitboxes like Ormond's boulders or indoor).
Okay, I understand what you're saying. That doesn't mean this is a bad idea though, right? If it's not her issue it wouldn't make her too strong, right? Just a QOL change?
-
I use Surveillance, Barbecue & Chili, Pop Goes The Weasel, and Discordance. I only stalk if I know I actually have a chance to get the insta down, which honestly isn't often.
-
@OldHunterLight said:
It would make huntress way stronger, so I assume people will complain more about her but I do like the irri head change.
Don't people say that about every suggested change to a killer though?
-
I've wanted Trager as a killer for years now, I just don't know what his power would be.
Also an Outlast dlc would result in another indoor map, and we all love indoor maps, right?

Haha, funny joke.
I was confused by the discussion and starting post. Had no idea what to say.
-
Ok boomer.

All the hitboxes are the same, what causes hits to look so ridiculous with freddy are his height, latency, and the size of his weapon.

I don't believe this is what he needs, but i'm not sure what I would change about him.
Clown is my go to when I play killer. I've played more as him than I have as any other killer. Yet oddly enough I don't find him to be that fun to play as or go against. I guess his power just feels too bland and one dimensional to me. Maybe like @Blueberry said, have his gas do something to gens, or maybe instead of throwing a bottle, he could place one down that would act like a proximity mine.
One thing I would like to see, is maybe an addon or two to increase the velocity of thrown bottles.
Also I hate his two pink addons. Even though I said I don't believe he needs recharging bottles, maybe it could replace one of his ultra rares.
That's the problem with the majority of fan suggested changes to killers. "I don't think it's what he needs, but than again, I don't know what I'd do."
I do understand that an automatic recharge might not be what he needs, but that doesn't mean it would be a bad change, right?

If you walk up to a fire barrel or any fixture with fire and you're holding M2 (you have a bottle in your hand), Pressing the secondary ability button allows The Clown to morph that bottle into a Molotov Cocktail after like a 3 second animation. Pressing M1 to stash the bottle back in your pocket turns it back into a regular bottle (You can't just whip out a molotov whenever you want).
Kind of a joke idea but sounds cool lol
I also think he should start with 5 bottles.
Changing a tonic bottle into a molotov......I mean, it makes sense.

Everybody is going to tell you run Thanatophobia and (maybe) dying light, because survivors will be injured a lot so gen speed will be slower. It makes sense, but thanatophobia decreases generator and healing speeds, and survivors can't normally heal so they won't have that problem. If they cleanse, thanatophobia will do nothing for you. If they're focused on generators, they'll likely finish 1 or 2 before you can get everybody sick and actually get use out of thanatophobia. It's a mediocre build in my opinion. My current build is: Infectious Fright, Discordance, Monitor & Abuse, and Barbecue & Chili. Discordance and Monitor help with finding people at the start, which is good because the start of a plague match really determines the outcome; if you find 2 or 3 survivors really quick and puke on them, you'll probably win that game. If it takes you a while to find someone, you probably won't get everyone. Discordance and Monitor help a lot (in my experience) with this. Infectious Fright is good for plague as it can help you get more people sick very quickly, or down everyone with corrupt purge. And Barbecue just for the extra bloodpoints really. The auras are nice but they're not really necessary. Especially if you have the black incense addon and you can already see everybody vomiting all over the place.

I think that the automatic recharge is not needed
i mean, they could implement it, but i'm afraid he will be too strong
try to use the 2 extra bottles add on and the "longer duration" one and you'll see that you won't be that much dependant on reload time
It may not be needed, but that doesn't mean it's a bad change, does it? And I actually did use 2 extra bottles with extra duration yesterday at The Game, and killed everyone at red ranks. I understand that reload time might not be what causes the clown to not perform as well as other killers, I just figured getting bottles back while being able to traverse the map at the same time would be nice.

@CriminalMind_ITA said:
I'm using Clown these days and damn he feels good !!
I usually bring 1 or 2 extra bottles + longer effect duration
Honestly i think we're almost there
He just needs some small tweaks
Okay. What exactly are you saying in relation to the topic? Do you mean this change is more than he needs? Or that this could work or what?
-
Do you have an idea for what the power would be?

It’s five seconds.
Thats it.
And the only time Clown should be doing it is:
- at the end of a successful chase (at the down or after hooking)
- At a loop a survivor has stopped at and is clearly waiting at (or using it to trick survivors to run away from the loop in which case cancel the reload and hit them out in the open)
So they could just give him a 5 second recharge per bottle, that doesn't slow you down?

This.
The only players that have an issue with the current reload speed (ignoring the bug though) are players recklessly throwing too many bottles during a chase and running out before a down. Which shouldn’t be happening anyway. That’s not how you play Clown.
That's true. It's not really the reload speed that I have a problem with, it's the fact that you have to constantly stop and reload bottles, wasting time you could be using to patrol/find survivors.
-
Sam and Dean have taken down things far worse than the dbd killers, I really don't want to see them running away from killers they would fight in the show/
-
Thank you. I've been hesitant to bring this up for a while since the last time I suggested a buff everyone who commented shot it down. Glad to see it positively reviewed.
@[Deleted User] said:
That's actually a nice idea. And after reading the comments. @coppersly gave a really good point.
how about in addition to his current reload. make him regenerate 2 or 3 bottles after hitting a survivor.
so it punishes you if you waste all of your bottles. and kinda rewards you if you get a hit using your bottles.
your idea is amazing though. and can probably be the first step in reworking the clown.
-
@Elena said:
This would be a good buff, but I think I should change it up a bit.
Maybe every 10 seconds, Clown receives a new bottle.
Another feature I would love to have with Clown is a UI indicator of where your bottle is going to land when you throw it.
So 10 seconds for 1 bottle, making a full reload 40 seconds. Sounds good.
I really like the idea of an indicator for where the bottle lands. Kind of like giving the huntress a crosshair to see where hatchets will go.

For 1 bottle or total reload?
Good point. For 1 bottle 15 seconds is too much, total reload it's not enough. What do you propose?
-
@coppersly said:
It would have to be pretty slow ngl. We don't want it to devolve into just throwing them willy-nilly for ez zone control. The reload forces you to decide when is a good time to throw one.
How does 15 seconds sound?

(Back before the nurse rework) I play on PS4. One game I'll never forget is the first time I went to The Game with omegablink and destroyed everyone. What a beautiful match that was. Nobody expects a good nurse on ps4. It was a fun time all around.

I can honestly say that this has, for whatever reason, been the most toxic event ever. Both as a Survivor AND Killer. Absolutely ridiculous. Why?!
I don't know if it's the MOST toxic event so far. From what I remember the hallowed blight event was pretty toxic all around as well. As was outlined in Sir Rodion's "Halloween event in a nutshell" video.
-
Freddy: Discordance, Hex: Ruin, surveillance, Barbecue and Chili.
Nurse (before the nerf, when I was better) Monitor & Abuse, A Nurse's Calling, I'm All Ears, Barbecue & Chili.
Extra (only works on a few maps, namely rotten fields)
Deathslinger: Barbecue & Chili, A Nurse's Calling, Monitor & Abuse, Save The Best For Last.
-
I don't want fnaf in dbd, because I don't find it to be scary. But seeing as they can apparently add pretty much anyone to the game, be it movie, tv show or video game, I want to see richard trager from Outlast as a killer.
-
Okay I understand, you're unhappy with how Freddy is but can we leave the strong killers alone for now and focus on buffing/adjusting the not so strong killers?
