I typically call them by their normal names. Only a few rare exceptions:
wraith - ding dong killer
clown - guy with alcohol issues
-
It's an abusive relationship, honestly. The devs add a new chapter/patch and horrible bugs or other problems come from it, and we get mad about it and think about leaving dbd and the devs apologize for it and fix the problems and then they just do it again right after. And we keep coming back despite all the pain and suffering.

You seriously think that FNAF is more deserving of a chapter than Silent Hill? Silent Hill is an iconic horror franchise, well known by older fans and way scarier than FNAF.
-
Spine Chill - when the killer looks at you.
Premonition - when you look at the killer.
-
A licensed skin on a non-licensed character?
-
Play With Your Food, Nemesis, Spirit Fury, Enduring. Super aggressive build.
-
Lightweight - silence your footsteps/make them quieter.
Cruel Limits - make the range mapwide.
Mettle of Man -allow any hit to count towards the perk, but make the required amount of hits much higher. Like 8 instead of 3 for example.
Surge - each time you successfully down a survivor and activate the perk, you get a token; each time you get another token, the generators that surge blows up will be instantly regressed more than the previous surge activation. Like how save the best for last progressively makes your cool down on hits smaller, make the surge hits progressively more influential.
Any Means Necessary - decrease the pallet reset time by 1 or 2 seconds, and decrease the cooldown by 50 %.
Hex: Devour Hope - if the totem gets destroyed, you can still gain stacks and insta down people, but not mori them or vice versa.
Deja Vu - give it the same effect as the fuming mix tape legion add-on: when you finish a generator and the other ones are highlighted, you can determine which generators have been worked on/are close to being done and vice versa.
Hangman's Trick - increase the aura range.
I could add more probably but 8 seems good.
-
The Devs need to make this a skin after the dlc comes out.
-
In my opinion Nurse is still the strongest killer in the game, she's just a lot harder to play and the bugs don't make it any easier.
-
Richard Trager from Outlast. Others say they want Chris Walker, but Trager has a much cooler name and a lot more personality (IMO) than Chris Walker and I think they'd have more to work with for Trager.

I AM A SQUARE THEN. JASON WOULD HAVE BEEN SO MUCHCCHC BETTERR
Jason would be boring. He's just a big dude with a machete and some mommy issues.
Pyramid Head is the face of the silent hill franchise, one of the most loved games among horror game fans. I'm hyped for the new chapter.
-
what if a survivor hadn't been hooked all game and then got hooked at the end with this noed? Seems kind of ridiculous if it made the survivor die on their first hook. I'm pretty sure people would hate this versio. more than current noed.
-
Way too strong. It sounds like you took the abilities of spirit, wraith, Freddy, ghost face, hag, and doctor, and put it all together into one killer.
The invisibility part of his power is just the wraith's bell, but with old freddy's invisibility, ghost face's reveal mechanic, and Spirit's phase walking sound emission.
The TERROR part of his power is the exact same thing as the doctor's madness and the tentacles are the same as doctor's static blast.
The black marks part of his power is the same thing as hag's blackened catalyst, with slightly longer range, and freddy's 8 dream snares limit.
It sounds, and I mean this in the nicest of ways, like a very unoriginal idea.
-
They should make it so survivors can't see jigsaw machine auras (face mask add on basekit), that way they really have to look for them.
-
Remove the entire recharge mechanic, and rework certain addons accordingly.
-
I'm seeing a lot of people here say that Oni is bad on console because of low fps/optimization, which confuses me. I can do fine with Oni on console, he ahould definitely be higher on this list.
-
Great - Scalped Topknot (Oni)
Terrible - Long Guide Bar (Hillbilly)
-
If I see a survivor with a flashlight or get blinded.
-
I play mostly Oni on PS4. I do play other killers but I always have the most fun as Oni.
-
I'm a rank 2 killer and rank 4 survivor on ps4.
-
It takes a while to really "git gud" with killer. I started with Trapper and after a while switched to Nurse. Countless hours were spent practicing blinks, whiffing blink attacks, getting bullied by survivors etc. I would say just be patient and don't feel bad if you don't do well. I've been playing killer for two years now and I still make mistakes sometimes, but I never let it get to me. In the end, whats done is done, and there's no point brooding about it.
-
Strongest: Nurse
Weakest: Cannibal
-
No.
-
Insidious and No Mither.
-
As obvious bait as that is, I'll still respond.
No. Movement speeds are fine. As for your 4.2 and 4.5 idea...
Huntress's base speed is 4.4 meters per second, .4 meters faster than survivors. If the speeds were changed to Survivor 4.2 and killer 4.5, that would make every killer slower than huntress.
-
For survivor it's been just as easy as before if not easier. Bring in 2 generator perks, an exhaustion perk and a niche perk, and I do well 8/10 games.
Killer is just as frustrating as before. I stopped using ruin some time ago so the change is whatever, but that doesn't mean killer isn't anymore stressful.
-
I would move Myers down 1 and Oni up 1.
-
I use fixated and inner strength often, but other than that, no. I rarely see anyone using any of the stranger things characters.
-
It's not often I actually like a fanmade chapter, but I think you did a pretty good job so far with this chapter idea. Better than most of what the devs make anymore.
-
I can think of a few but this moment was the most memorable:
-fyi, this is on ps4-
Me and my friends were doing kyf, them vs me as ghost face, on Hawkins. I had just hooked and killed the second person, and as I started walking away I saw them healing with Nurse's Calling on the stairs. So I decided to activate my power, go up the other flight of stairs, and sneak up on them from upstairs as they were healing. I came down the stairs where they were and downed one of them, making them scream so loud that my brother sitting next to me heard them from my headset. Hearing them scream when I attacked was the most satisfying moment I've ever had in dbd.

Sprint Burst, Fixated, Poised, Stake Out (or) Spine Chill.
-
Ghost Face: Surveillance, Pop Goes The Weasel, Barbecue & Chili/A Nurse's Calling, Hex: Haunted Gorund.
Demogorgon: Enduring, Save The Best For Last, Hex: Devour Hope, Barbecue & Chili.
-
Nurse is still the strongest killer. The cooldown for her blinks is barely noticeable, and as long as you're accurate with your blinks, the nerf won't even matter. You'll still dominate survivors as long as you don't mess up your blinks. If you don't believe me go watch OhTofu's "New Nurse is Still Insanely Good" video.
-
Make it possible to down in feral frenzy again without add-ons, decrease the number of hits required, but don't change anything else.
-
No it's not. I just like to use it for the extra bloodpoints.
-
2 survivor builds:
Meta build: Dead Hard, Decisive Strike, Inner Strength/Adrenaline, and Borrowed Time.
Stealth build: Urban Evasion, Spine Chill, Iron Will, and Balanced Landing.
Killer builds (there's too many I'll just do 3)
Ghost Face Build - Discordance, Barbecue & Chili, A Nurse's Calling, Hex: Ruin.
Nurse Build - A Nurse's Calling, Barbecue & Chili, Monitor & Abuse, and Deerstalker.
Plague Build - Hex: Ruin/Pop Goes the Weasel, Monitor & Abuse, Thanatophobia/Dying Light, and Barbecue & Chili.
-
There seems to be no way to make some people happy. One of the things people have asked for is to give survivors more objectives, and that's exactly what the hallowed blight event did last year. And yet they get mad when it "distracts people from the main objective", even though that's because of the survivors, not the event itself. To stop this, the developers changed it from plants to the special generators, and everybody's complaining because they "Look ugly."
I wish they had just put the pustula flowers in again, because it was actually interesting and a cool addition to the game. But I'm not going to cry about it after the developers worked so hard to iron the update so it wouldn't have a lot of bugs.

Only stalk closer to the beginning of the match, because people will be on high alert later in the match/once they know you're ghost face, and fully stalking someone is nearly impossible. The only time to stalk late match is if the survivors you found are farther away and completely unaware. Just take advantage of having no terror radius or red stain, and use night shroud as much as possible. His power recovery add-ons are really helpful for this. Don't worry about them revealing you, because if they do outside of a chase it'll tell you where they are, and survivors often try to break you out while you're chasing them, which messes up how well they do in a chase, so catching them is easier. I recommend nurse's calling because it's easy to sneak up on people who are healing if you're using night shroud.
-
When the killer is using Ruin: if you hit a good skill check instead of a great skill check, and the gen slightly regresses, there's a period of time right after the skill check where the generator progress won't increase or decrease. However, you can still get a skill check during that time, which can mess you up. To deal with this, if you don't hit a great skill check, hop off the generator for a few seconds until the generator can progress.
Alternatively you can get good at hitting great skill checks.

Good lord why are people so impatient? They found problems with the update that they needed to fix. It's not uncommon for problems to come up. "This is so frustrating! They told us about all this cool new stuff they're going to give us, and you know what they're making us do? They're making us wait here, for a little while longer!" Oh really, what's going to happen next? Will you still get all that stuff, for free? Personally I think it's pretty cool that the devs are giving us all this stuff, again, for free. They delayed the update to fix problems and work on it more, and you people are whining about it. Would you rather have an update with problems so you can whine even more, or an update without as many problems so you can have fun playing. I'd go with the latter.
-
No, they don't owe us anything just because it got delayed. They're already giving us an event and the archives, plus more stuff in the future, is that not enough? They're a game making company, stuff happens. Sure it got delayed, but we're still going to get the mid-chapter patch and everything, just be patient.
-
Ghost Face: Barbecue & Chili
A Nurse's Calling
Hex: Ruin (or Pop Goes the Weasel)
Discordance (or Surveillance)
-
She's great when played right. If survivors cleanse and you get corrupt purge, you become omega huntress. If they don't cleanse, you always have a 1 hit down, and the survivors are much easier to find since they're so loud.
Also, I recommend using Monitor & Abuse on her, because if they don't cleanse you can sneak up on them and down them much faster.
-
Richard Trager.
-
The nerf isn't even that bad. If you're accurate with your blinks the nerf won't even matter. She's still the strongest killer, you just have to be more accurate and strategic with your blinks.
I understand why so many people are upset. I don't think they should've touched her basekit either, but crying about it in the forums isn't going to do anything. The devs are still going to make it official, regardless of how many people are against it.
-
I hope that they make the range add-ons decrease blink movement speed. I play nurse a lot and I've always said that the range add-ons need to be adjusted, since they don't just increase range, they also increase movement speed and technically charge speed.
-
yes. no more high rank survivors bullying low rank killers.
-
Myers. People seem to think that he's one of the strongest killers and it just baffles me. I mean sure his tier 3 is strong, but he can only do that so many times, and he's not that difficult to loop.
-
I was only able to participate in the bloodhunt for like 8 hours. I didn't get a chance the rest of the time so I only got like 400,000 bloodpoints.
