Just turn Laurie into a killer.
-
Dont quote me on this, but i vaguely remember reading somewhere that the Pig and Tapp cosmetics come out in the mid chapter patch? Ill try to find the place where i read it
-
the only problem i have with cosmetics is that there are some that are purple quality, but part of it is literally the same thing as a default cosmetic (like adams head in his wicked wares cosmetic.) other than that theyre fine.
-
yeah it does. Dead hard isnt op or anything, but after having someone dead hard for distance for the 2000037th time that day it can get a lil annoying lmao
-
I agree. Hope is dope so any buffs are happily accepted.

It's just the legion standard.
LOL youre right

For Legion Mend Bug, forums literally called for every one of them to be banned.
Same forum regarding WakeUp bug = "Nah, you cant ban someone for running a perk they didnt know!"
An exploit is an exploit, you are the one proving my point by treating killer exploiters different than WakeUp exploiters.
Yeah theres no double standard.
There isnt. When killers were abusing the tinkerer bug and sloppy butcher Wraith bug- nobody got banned (and if i remember correctly, survivors were asking for bans.) but yeah. There sure is a double standard.
-
Gotta test the changes to find out. He’ll be weaker yeah, but i have a feeling it wont be as bad as everyone is making it out to be.
-
Its not troubling per se, but after playing for a long time dead hard becomes annoying (though only when its used to close distance to a pallet.)
-
I prefer michael, but ghostface is a breath of fresh air so i really like his power too.
-
Agreed. As much as i love new content in the game, i feel as its just grown into quantity over quality at this point.

yet when the Leion Mend bug was found, devs made public post stating: "we will use internal data to see who runs it and ban them no need to report them"
double standard anyone?
That bug held the game hostage, wake up doesnt. Besides, killers werent banned for using Tinkerer at tier two and Sloppy Butcher (on wraith) when they were bugged. Theres no double standard.
-
Yes because when tinkerer and sloppy butcher on Wraith was bugged killers were definitely banned. Tinkerer gave an unfair advantage (just like wake up now) and the sloppy butcher bug ended up crashing the game at some point in the match, thats fair to survivors. Not saying its alright to abuse a bug (as its scummy no matter whose doing it), but survivors arent the only ones getting special treatment with abusing bugs.
-
Honestly alls they really need to do is make ghostface immune to aura reading perks/addons in night shroud, i think thatd fix the problem.
-
Id love to see something from The Evil Within- like Ruvik or boxhead or somebody
-
Ugh, i hate haddonfield so much. When people are using balanced landing on that map it just makes me wanna dc lmao.
-
My problem with this bug is not people abusing it, its how it even got bugged in the first place. Wake up (or anything even related to it) wasnt even touched in this patch, how tf did it even get broken??
-
Agreed for them both, except furtive chase is useless to me because alls it does is decrease your terror radius in a chase, and in a chase only. The only thing good with furtive chase i can see is using it on Michael, as itll give him a 2 meter terror radius with all stacks (which will be confusing on maps with a lot of walls, like Lerys) though its still not that good or worth putting all that effort it to have it go away when your obsession is killed.
-
Yes, having every survivor go down in less than 15 seconds>>> very fun gameplay 😍
-
Damn dude, i cant believe you pissed off a representative of microsoft. Dont get banned 😳
-
No prob! Hope this bug doesnt happen again to ya, its annoying. Happy hunting!
-
This idea sounds cool on paper, but this isnt a good solution to solve gen rushing. Adding this will actively punish survivors who dont run self care (which is such a boring perk to use to begin with), or a medkit. This will also make using thana and sloppy butcher the meta- and more anti healing builds will probably come out for both sides (though we’ll probably see better uses of autodidact)
-
legions dead lmao, but hes in a better place than being outright toxic to even use though.
-
This has happened to me too, its VERY annoying to do this. To fix it though, all you have to do is close dbd and then reopen it- that worked for me.

lol main playerbase ... without killers there is no game or dbd. this doesnt get fixed asap people will stop playing and killer population will decline
While this is true, it also takes 4 survivors to start a match, while only needing one killer. Banning many survivors for using a bugged perk (which might i add, is confusing and worrying in itself on how it was even bugged in the first place) would kill a lot of the games player base, which will make queues even longer. Killers are still obviously important, but survivors are too. Also, people weren't banned for abusing the tinkerer bug, or the wraith bug with sloppy butcher- so i have doubts that using wake up will result in a ban.
-
The sad thing about this is that this perk is even broken in this way. How spaghetti does a games code have to be to break a perk that wasn't even touched in this update. Its kind of worrying tbh.

It really is an infinite though. People here, myself included have given you multiple reasons why, when you just continue to say "nuh uh, no it's not".
Adapt, get better. Life without infinites will take actual skill, but you can do it. Well, probably.
How do you run shack as a killer? Also, why do you believe its an infinite? Genuinely curious

Because he understands the game? Meat Tree, killer shack, the mines at MacMillan, if you loop them literally the other way then you will still get a fast vault every time. All of these places are very easily looped if you’re semi-competent. You can’t be mad at killers needing to have these things. How are killers like Leatherface, Wraith, etc going to be able to stop you from looping them without these things helping them? Blocking off BS windows wouldn’t fix the problem. With RNG making maps, even if you did block off the simple ones, not having bloodlust, enduring, etc would make it impossible to stop some loops. Even as a killer main, who hardly plays survivor, I can loop these windows no problem.
TL;DR:
You can’t just block some windows and expect everything else to work out fine
Why are you acting like the fast vault on meat tree, while going the wrong way, is a common thing? Its one of the hardest fast vaults to get, and if you took the time to learn it (and get it every time) you deserve to get that vault every time. Also, these changes do absolutely nothing to fix the actual infinites in game- if anything this nerf gives survivors a reason to run infinites more, as these changes are so finicky when trying to fast vault with debris to the side of a window, or even just fast vault in general.

oh look, thats one of the things they are actually changing in his upcoming tweaks... It's almost like, they are actually paying attention to whats going on, and fixing things as needed? Thats weird.
oh i know, im just saying its annoying for that to be happening. Im glad theyre fixing it soon though

Yes please list all of the low skill HIGH reward killer perks
Noed, spirit fury, and rancor. Thats pretty much it, and they might not be op but theyre still no skill high reward.
-
Hes very fun to go against, i just hate how finicky it is to break him out of stealth- as i can look at him while chasing me but he just wont get broken out of it.
-
This is a deserved “nerf”, as its more of a bug fix. I went against him 5 times already (on console) and i stared at him many times, definitely over 2 seconds, and he didn't get broken out of stealth. He was also in the middle of my screen, and chasing me. The pallet stun kicking him out of stealth just makes sense- if you’re close enough to a survivor to be pallet stunned, they can definitely see you, so why shouldn't it kick you out?
-
There are some maps that the killer can still body block you and keep you hostage in the basement (when there is a doorframe to enter the basement, im pretty sure the basement in the Ironworks is one, i forget the others.)
-
Who cares, play however you wanna play. If you wanna camp, camp. If you wanna tunnel, tunnel. You bought the game with your own money, so do whats fun to you.
-
FEATURES & CONTENT Feature - Added the ability to rotate characters in the lobby. Content - Added a new Killer (The Ghost Face). BALANCE Audio adjustments:

Isn't about winning it's about having fun you see as the killer if you play well are pip you will find your self in purples ranks where survivors will run perks like DS, MoM... at the same time they will gen rush. So as the killer, you have to pick some other perks in order to make the game last a little longer. Survivors don't have this problem they can run no perk and still win the game even on red rank but when they put some of those perks you know you can lose the game for one perk. Tell me how fun is to lose the whole game not by a better survivor but from a perk?
Yes it can be infuriating to lose to a survivor with mettle, but that’s literally the only obsession perk that deserves a rework. Everything else is fine as is. Also, killers have perks and abilities that are very annoying as survivor (like Spirit, prayer beads, noed, irihead hatchets, insta saw billy, omega blink nurse, MYC hag with mint rag, etc. etc.) Those (other than iri head and nurse) dont take skill to use at all, and its very easy to 4k with stuff like that. And tbh, i dont really see your argument because it just sounds like you want easy 4ks every game you play.

Bamboozle should be a baseline mechanic.
How about we just fix broken structures instead of releasing a band aid fix in a perk?

So you don't play killer ok nice to know
erm... I actually play killer very frequently, and the weakest killers at that. Sorry you cant understand that i dont care about winning every game on something that i just want to have fun with.
-
She might be annoying to go against, but that doesnt mean she should be nerfed.

So you will leave at the end the survivor you hook to escape ?
Actually, i usually do lol. Just because i played poorly doesnt mean ill be salty and camp/tunnel the last survivor (as i really dont care if i get kills anyway.)

@Mew why is everyone saying that it rewards bad killer plays?!
Killer has still to find, chase and hit the survivors.
Killer is bad if he let the survivors get to endgame? So basically he's bad if he doesn't tunnel, and kills as fast as possible (mori).
Fast matches punish the killer pip wise.
So what is it now?
I never said the killer is bad just because end game was triggered, I'm saying that at a gameplay stance- the killer technically failed their job of sacrificing survivors. Also, most loops become laughably easy if you're a 115 speed killer (or well, nurse.) Noed is also just very frustrating and annoying to go against- because most bad killers can snowball into getting at least 1-3 kills with it (sometimes four.) Should noed be changed though? I don't think so, as even if the perk can be annoying, i find that it does have counters (even if they're boring ones.)
-
@Tsulan said:
@Vancold survivors wanted a secondary objective. They got totems. Which are totally optional and can remove a whole killer perk before it has even the chance to work.
A perk that is useless during the whole match and only works during the endgame and only when the survivors were to lazy to cleanse totems. A perk that reduces the amount of required hits by 50%.
Basically the killer version of Adrenaline.
I feel the reason people dislike NoED more is because it usually rewards bad play for killers, as they fail their objective but get a one shot for end game. With adrenaline, the survivors (usually) worked to stay alive the entire match, with one dead perk, so imo i think adrenaline is more fair.
-
But maybe... just hear me out... ds isnt problematic? Just dont tunnel?

That is a terrible idea. Survivors tend to make life miserable when they have too much fine control over a killer's movement or power. If wiggling is automatic you also run into issues on timing and speed.
Hm thats true, i guess i didnt think about that lol. Oh well tho, just an idea!
-
Maybe. Though i really like running and walking, id probably run into a wall as a killer is chasing me lol.
-
Swf is fine, maybe a tiny bit broken if theyre very coordinated, with all insta heals and mettle (which is VERY rare.) also, how do you know those survivors were swf in the match? They could just be solo survivors with good game sense, but ig a good team is just always swf lol.
-
Vigil: have all the buffs from the perk effect every survivor. Also make it so you can recover from exhaustion while sprinting, but with a 25/30/35% speed reduction (but only the person running it gets this buff.)
Wake Up: the door switch aura is revealed to all survivors, the person running wake up doesn’t have to be on the door. Also make it so if you're on an exit switch, someone running wake up in a 12 meter proximity will have your aura revealed to them/something to alert them that you have wake up. (Gate opening speeds are increased by 5/10/15%, but only for the person running this perk.)
