The real problem is that when you hit a survivor for the first time, they are going to take advantage of the speedboost and run away from the range of (as you have suggested) 30 meters.
-
Well, good luck doing it Chchchcheryl, because of what I've been seeing around this months, I have to say I'm very sad about all this thing of balance and new perks. I personally made two discussions sharing humble propositions and suggestions.
-
I'm sorry but you need to understand, that you should be paying attention in the perks that we have now. Because just adding more perks difficults the balance of the other 60 bad and garbage perks we currently have. :(
Perks like Small hunt and Montrous shrine are been in the game 4 years, wihout any changes.

JimbusCrimbus, what is TL and DR?
-
Complex and difficult to implement in the game. Also you need to explain a little more and better, for understand your idea.
-
That would be not so original, I personally thought in giving the dying teammate a +150% movement speed for 3 seconds, when you completely heal him. That way should be easier for him to escape just by running in the opposite direction. But don't worry I get your point, the perk is garbage. :(
-
Good ideas, nice. But the devs are never going to see this post, like always :(
-
Don't bully him, he is just a normal player with a opinion, stop treat him like that.
It's just a SUGGESTION, cmon.
And I also think that Legion needs some tweaks.
-
Para ALLCP, podrías ir a "Feedback and suggestions", yo también he hecho hace poco, un rework a Ghostface, si quieres puedes mirarlo. Pero está en inglés XD.
Se llama "GHOSTFACE REWORK", me llamo Masterninja.
-
Its a great idea. It should be an obligation for new players to do this tutorial.
-
I personally had maid a "Ghostface rework" in (feedback and suggestions) if do you want to see my idea. :)
-
Sunbreaker7 it's right, these kinds of perks need buffs.
-
TeabaggingGhostface, another thing you actually had read the entire post?
-
Answer me this please.
You like Ghostface, because you like his playstyle or he is a playable killer of your favourite movie?
Because, if it is the second one, dont you think that they could had put him a more special poder. It's very similar to Michael Myers.
-
Why are you arguing with thesuicidefox, he is right, this new mechanic is good and is not so bad for survivors.
-
It could be interesting if the devs came out with something similar.
-
You are not the only one who thinks that, I'm with you man. :)
I also think that devs could do it a lot better. It's a shame, over all this years to see the same ######### ######### since the beggining.
-
The changes are good, the clown only needs a (numbers buffs) for be better in game. :)
-
Well, you alright say it.
If they notice and realise what its happening.
XD
-
You need to know one thing very important, Psychobeastz.
When the game was released, at the beggining and until some years, the survivors had the ability to recover from the exhausted status effect (while running, at half speed). The exhausted add-ons of the clown and the Huntress in that period were totally fair and logic.
The recovery was changed in a patch for balance.
But now those add-ons are unfair and very strong, that is the problem right now. The devs need to reworked them and make his duration much shorter. (Clown = from 30 to 10 seconds and Huntress = from 60 to 20 and 30 to 10 seconds)
-
I don't know, this type of ideas are very risky, but it could be interesting to see this change and test it in the PTB.
I thought some times, that the perk diversion could be also a base-kit for all the survivors. Just for include a new mechanic in the survivor gameplay.
-
I'm just going to say... an interesting idea :)
-
I will buff him, increasing the undetectable staus effect, like +3 seconds, increase the radius of the killer instict from the portals +4 meters, increase a little bit the speed traveling in the upside down, etc...
-
Calm spirit would have a lot of value, with a buff and some changes to killer perks, for making survivors scream.
We have to check again, what counters: Freddy (bloodpools), clown (gas bottles), doctor (madness), Trapper (stepping on a trap), infectius fright, dragon grip, deathbound, etc ...
My changes: add a +9% of speed bonus in healing, searching chests, cleansing totems and opening exit gates. And put for example, that Blood Echo makes injured survivors also scream.
-
Yeah, you are right, that map sucks, there ins't a hill to activate the perk, and tree house idea is original. Or they could just eliminate that map.
Its a shame that this coment is not going to receive much views :(
-
I think almost all the maps need to be a mix of:
- One big main structure or a few small structures, (in the vicinity or in the center of the map).
- In the rest of empty space, open areas.
This way I think it could be (FINE), for all the killers: stealthy (Myers, Ghosface, Pig, Deathslinger, Wraith), also for who have good mobility (Hillbilly, Nurse, Blight, Oni) and the others who doesn't have mobilty (Clown, Hag, Trapper, Huntress, Leatherface).
-
The buff for mindbreaker: the effect stills works all the time that you are in the gen (delete the ######### 50%), when you stop working in the gen, the exhaustion lasts 10 seconds.
-
Hag, Deathslinger (he shoots instantly) and Legion (boring, a rework please).
-
Wall up: you gain the ability to improve the structures of pallets and breakable walls, when you are close press the ability button to reinforce during 5 seconds. When the killers tries to destroy a reinforce pallet, the breaking time will last 10% more and with a breakable wall will be 50% more. Cooldown of 50/40/30 seconds.
(You also can make this action with toolboxes: reinforce a pallet or a breakable wall requires 5 charges) The best toolboxes for this action are: Worn-Out Tools, Toolbox and Commodious Toolbox.
Counterattack: when the killer hits you, the perk activates during 20/25/30 seconds, in that time when you manage to stun the killer with a pallet, the stun will last 60% more.
Without fear: you and the killer can't see the aura of the other during the whole match. You don't hear the terror radius from any killer, but when you are in a radius of 16/18/20 meters from the killer your scratchmarks are 50% less visible. You can't suffer the Exposed status effect. The perk grants +100% more of bloodpoints in the audacity category.
-
I'm so exciteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed. :)
-
I have maked two post where I fix almost all the bad perks in the game (killers and survivors). You can check them out.
-
- Pennywise (IT)
- Slenderman
-
Do you want to say that dead by daylight can't never have a good balance on the perks?
What a pessimistic person you are.
-
And do you really think that I'm not going to do a another post, for killer perks.
The only thing that I just want is some variety, something that the developers cant do.
-
Well, neither of you use those perks all the time, I am right?
You only use the meta perks, because you are so boring. XD
38 perks of this list they are never played. And you really prefer the developers updates and chapters with this ######### perks?
-
Its a shame that you got just 36 views :(
-
I have maked personally two discussions talking about this very big problem, you need to see them: 1- (The developers are not thinking in the perks) 2- (Reworks and buffs for almost all the bad survivors perks)
AH! and for your Knowledge, there are in total 67 bad survivor and killer perks in the game.
-
Thanks all of you for the comments.
-
Pyramid head can do with his power 3 actions:
1- Put in the ground his rites of judgement
2- Hit survivors through walls with his strike
3- Send the tormented survivors into his cages.
The Blight can only dash and hit the survivors in the secon dash.
-
Listen, is obvius that the developers are doing their best, but they don't really demonstrate it.
For example: " oh my god, a new killer in the game, (The Blight), is so . . . is so . . . original? I don't think so. They could added him another ability apart from his single power, the rush. Look at pyramid head, the pig, the demogorgon, freddy krueger, michel myers . . . they are more interesting and complex to use, any of them is simple and boring.
Another example: I have to admit that the recent graphics an animations update is amazing, excellent, perfect. We don't need a new map with the completely reworked of (bhadam preeschool and the yamaoka estate). Congratulations, but since the beggining, the developers had been missing in all the chapters that they have done one thing very important, make good perks for survivors and killers, and they really need to buff them, because now in the game there are more of 40 perks from survivors and killers that are garbige and terrible.
-
A lot of survivors and killers perks need a buff, for be finally decent. I can't believe that the developers are not doing it, the game needs more variety in the perks that the players run.

Yes, but 6 secs turns traps to almost a freeish instadown. 4 seconds to hold a buttom. Then avoid a killer and then heal.
With that being said, i would also want a popped trap to have a skill check to pop it. Where if survs miss it they get trapped
I put 6 seconds in the trap for be able as a survivor to escape always (if the killer is far away), but in a persecution the trapper can always have the instadown. Is TOTAL FEAR for the survivor and for the killer.
-
You are right I suppose the perk could have another thing, if you have ideas for replace the effect about the scratchmarks I would glad to see them.
-
Thanks all of you for the comments, the 4th one i wanted to be like (No Mither) a handicap perk.
-
You are wrong, for the perk build (Slippery meat+Up the ante) and the purple offering of luck, the buff is great because grants a lot more of probability to escape from the hook by yourself.
4%(the based probability) + 24%(Up the ante buffed) + three extra attepts (Slippery meat) + tremendously increase of luck (purple offering of luck) = more than 60% of probability of succes
And for the other perks I just improved the numbers to make it easier for developers to make the change, you have to think and understand that for them it takes time to apply this type of changes to the game, and also almost all the bad perks just need these little buffs to really be useful.
-
Also I'm going to post another discussion with 4 invented perks, I'll be glad if you see it.
