your definition of fun is probably being part of a toxic SWF .
I play solo 100% of the time, try again buddy

SoloQ <<<<<<< Killer < 4 SWF in terms of fun. Killers in this forum are just crybabies that can't stand some challenge.
This right here is 100% facts.

The same reason why killers complain about DS+Unbreakable. Going against it 8 out of 10 games is boring.
Also imo the aura just shouldn't be a thing for undying, they should add it to thrill of the hunt instead

I'm done. You're actually dreaming if you think a killer will spare you if you got sandbagged. @ me when the community is completely kind and the game has been fully balanced and polished.
Also if you don't have evidence that this sandbagging was intentional bhvr can't do anything about it, so good luck trying to convince them. You're already fooling yourself if you think bhvr is going to read your complaints in general discussions and take immediate action.
I make threads here to share thoughts with the community, if I want to report I do so on the support page. I make my threads not with the intention of devs seeing it, again, this is a community forum.
-
@Ryan489x said:
As a killer if I see intentional sandbagging I'll go for the person doing it. as a survivor I really try not to do it. The only time I did it for real was when I was playing and a Bill did nothing but hide in a locker all game and I knew where.
sandbagging is BS. but if you're on a team at least try to get things done and work together, don't just hide all game and expect to get hatch.
No one was hiding all game. I explained it on the posts above.

I didn't expect you to forget the difference between a stupid game and real life when replying.
I do realize working with the killer is punishable. But do you really think a random killer is gonna let you go and give you a few bloodpoints to send you back to the campfire because a random survivor sandbagged you? Definitely not me. And if it happens to me as survivor, I don't expect them to do the same. Killer is already stressful as it is.
Unless you got concrete evidence of every sandbagging that has happened to you yet being intentional and the survivor and killer were accomplices then I'm not going to bother saying "yeah it really sucks that you were the most unfortunate survivor in the whole game, i hope they fix it asap"
Yes, because if I had evidence, the first person I'd send it to you, a random on the forums. Makes total sense.
You should have stopped typing after the "I do realize working with the killer is punishable". Everything else you added is just not adding anything to the discussion besides your snarky remarks.

Now you're making up things. I didn't say that I came here to make you salty, and that wasn't my intention anyways. I just replied with no direct negativity to anybody.
Let's see here: You say I need to learn about human decency and sportsmanship because I don't see sandbagging as a toxic thing. ??? Then you say this is not trivial because it's sandbagging. But you had made it trivial by taking me as rude irl because I didn't agree with your opinion. Or is game behavior and real life behavior the same to you?
Do you realize that working with the killer is bannable? Which was the whole point of the thread.... killers working with survivors to kill someone else.... and you come here and gloat about doing it... ? Were you expecting me to say something positive about your reply, give you some pat on the back or something?

If I meet a pallet peggy, I'm just going to let her throw them all down.
There was a great moment I had in the past several months where a Claudette was hook farming a Nea, so since I had tombstone piece Myers, I stalked off the Nea and tombstoned Claudette at the hook. It was a fun game overall.
Throwing all pallets isn't sandbagging though, it's just being wasteful imo

I didn't stalk your post history. I was in your post history. Aren't you the same guy who was lazy in spirit discussion and the guy who made the "solo survivor is not worth it". Yeah that's you. You do complain every single time I see you.
Anyways if you take me as brute because I said a few trivial things in the game then you do need to take time off.
So you came to my thread, because you are salty I didn't want to explain to you something in another thread... Makes total sense.
If you read this one, you'd notice that it is not about people saying "trivial things in the game". It's about killers working with survivors to sandbag their team mates.

If all you do is complain about solo survivor being bad, then just don't play the game. Simple. I realized solo is much more fun when you stop caring. Same with killer. If you really want it to be skillful, then you might use this time to git gud instead of complaining on the forums.
Seems like you're the one who needs to take some time off if you're here complaining about me ranting about solo Q (which is indeed an issue) and stalking my post history. Kinda odd.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Because it makes them salty when I hit a sandbagged survivor.
And if a survivor sandbags me, I get triggered and sandbag them as a revenge if I get the chance.
Sounds fine to me. Survival of the fittest. Last to die gets the hatch.
Seems like you need to learn human decency and sportsmanship.

@Dabihwow said:
The only time I will work with survivor is when I need a rift challenge or something but that's it
It's one thing to farm with survivors, it's another different thing to work with them to sandbag a team mate. I don't mind farming points.

Oh, not saying that this was the case. But it sounded a little bit like you were hiding in a locker at this point next to Hatch.
Anyway, you should have reported those two and maybe even checked their friends lists.
Nope, I was trying to finish a second gen at the time.
Edit: They weren't friends on steam, and I did report in game but it's useless without a recording.
-
Not the case. I did everything that was done that game, which wasn't much because the other 3 were useless.

Sounds like the Dwight was thinking that you did not do anything in game.
I did. only 1 gen done, that I did. I did 3 saves (1 suicided on hook, the other 2 kept farming each other like idiots). I got undying and ruin.

I go out of my way to kill sandbaggers unless its looks actually accidental.
I wish I got killers like you in my match. Just got this dwight following a bubba telling him where I was, he hooks me, hits me on hook, and gives the dwight the hatch. Gotta love it.
-
SWF is just as bad to solo survivors as it is for killer. earlier I got a zarina who snitched on me after i saved her, I got hooked and they all left me to die on first hook. Killers always cry about swf but then they help then against solo team mates... bruh

You clearly didn't read post if you think like that. Try actually reading instead of looking through
I just re-read it, and my opinion stands. Sure, by that logic, all the killers are the same if they don't use their power (besides killers that are slower).
You need to keep in mind they have powers though.

Did you read the post?
I did, and he was comparing spirit to m1 killers. A good example of a m1 killer is trapper, if you're being chased in a place that he doesn't have traps on. Meanwhile, I've never seen people complain about trapper, because you can actually see him and know what he is doing. Meanwhile, spirit can just stay still and you have no clue what is going on because there are no visual or sound cues.
I just don't see how both of them are comparable besides both having an m1 attack. The difference is, spirit can recover and phase, if trapper wants to use his ability he has to leave and get a trap.
-
So you're comparing spirit to trapper? Makes 0 sense mate.

She is one of the easiest killers to loop, almost as easy as nurse, my friend was complaining he can't loop spirit so he DCd when she was killer lol, but honestly after a few games against her it gets easy.
Are we playing the same game? Maybe if it's a rank 20 nurse she's easy to loop, but not an actual good nurse..

Tbh I quit this game 3 months ago and don't really know how those offerings work exactly. But I think it has something to do with hatch spawn locations?
If yes, then they seem like a bandaid for the endless discussions about the fairness of hatchspawns by giving up the offering slot for an advantage.
This way killer get not a random.but real advantage in this matter at the cost of not being able to mori or have influence on the map.
Survivors only real impactful offerings in my opinion where map offerings and they also can give them up to aquire the advantage for the hatch.
It is advantageous to people who camp hatch and swf with keys.
-
@burt0r said:
Seems like another episode of the devs philosophy to bandaid fix problems via perks/addons/offerings instead of do a real change.
It's not even a bandaid since it doesn't fix anything, it makes things worse for solo q.

What do you mean? You don't love going against a huntress with iri head + belt + ebony + her disgusting large hatchet hitboxes? smh

Killers have to put up with survivors who teabag after every pallet stun/drop... window.... strong loop
Click flashlights at random times.... Wait till the last second to leave after "winning"
So what a killer does some of that back at you... don't take it personally
Two bad behaviors doesn't equal a good one. That's what immaturity looks like.

I thought your point was that nurse requires skill which justifies her rewards but spirit doesn't which doesn't justify her rewards. This isn't your point? That's what you seemed to imply. And I'm saying nurse doesn't matter in a spirit discussion. If you're too lazy to explain it simply that tells me that even you don't know what you said.
"At least you need skill to play nurse ;/"
I know what I said, I just think if you didn't understand it how it was worded, you wont understand any other way, so it doesn't really matter. I think everyone else did tho.

and? Nurse is a completely different killer that only a few console players and pc players alike have the will to play. Spirit is a much easier version. I don't see why you would care about killer's skill as a survivor. You're going to die or live anyways. That is bad thinking and when behaviour listens to this we get 2.7.0 all over again. But it seems like they realized their fault in reworks, at least cannibal and doctor's reworks seem like it.
You clearly missed the whole point and tbh I'm too lazy to have to explain it simply.
-
As killer: Sprint burst. If the survivor actually knows what they're doing that is.
As survivor: Rancor. I usually don't use obsession perks, but am obsession a lot. It's really annoying to have a perfect game, not be downed or hooked once, and then suddenly get 1 shot and morid right away.
-
No.

I used to love using names like those and now it just doesn't work :(

At least you need skill to play nurse ;/

Considering they want killers to get 4 kills in a single match for the challenges, i don't think it's going anywhere.
If you can only get a 4k with a help of moris I think you need to practice more as killer. Of course you won't be getting a 4k every match, but never getting a 4k without a mori, isn't great.

A good survivor team will still win against a good killer with a mori (Nurse & Spirit excluded).

It needs Live testing because people play so differently on the PTB - plus there's also other things that can mess up the data on the PTB (for example any map changes that are also on the PTB). And to get the required data, regular matches need to be played with previous data to compare to.
Thank you for the clarification

Not a single person would play a PTB surrounded only by Bloodlust changes. This way, they can gather data from every platform, and not just PC. Everyone is acting like they're completely removing Bloodlust. This is going to last for two days.
Well if no one would play, why don't the QA team does it? Do they not have a team of testers?

Not going to happen I'm afraid, being here is my job - carrying this information is part of that job as is explaining why we're doing this experiment.
Then why isn't the testing done on the ptb? you know, Public TEST branch.... What is the PTB for if it isn't used for testing? Where is the QA team?

That's not what I said. I said if the killer is "always catching you because they are faster", you're bad at the game. Any experienced player, survivor or killer, knows this. Nice strawman. Argue with someone you can beat.
I have 3.6k hours and i'm a red ranked survivor but i'm not "experienced", try again
-
As a solo survivor no thank you.

So many things in this game worth complaining about and 4% imo isn't one of them

not even close, i just queued up as demon at 9:22 and it took me 8 seconds to find a full lobby.
Survivor did take 11 seconds, which is damn better than 1-2 minutes in the evenings.
It does take long for me, and I'm on PC EU. Just because your experience is different doesn't mean mine is like yours lol.

The words of someone who is bad at looping, and/or mind games.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1759800#Comment_1759800
I'm down for that. But then DS needs to deactivate when that survivor touches a gen/hex totem, and when someone is unhooked. It's impossible that you are being tunneled if any of those things are taking place.
If you disagree with me, you're bad at the game hurr durr

I'm afraid killers don't care if they have your permission or not lol :x

I took a long break from this game because the Tome just destroyed gameplay for me as a solo survivor. Hours and hours of playing and I couldn't get even one game where my teammates were actually trying to win. Nothing mattered but challenges. Now that the new level is available, I'm reminded again of how horrible this game is when you're literally the only person actually playing and not swarming every hook to get seven heals.
So, how do you put up with it? I feel like I'm just going to have to delete this game because with the Tome out, the game is never going to be the same.
If you get a legit answer for this let me know. Solo Q has been unbearable the last few months.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/207012/this-game-isnt-worth-for-solo-survivors
Its the same for me. Rank 1 but rank 10 or higher teammates urban evading around the map against ruin/undying Freddies or god huntresses. And occasionally 3 red rank teammates against a green rank killer. Matchmaking has been seriously busted the last few weeks. I can't remember the last time I had a long, fair match.
This wasn't even a good huntress. Only time she was able to hit me with an m2 was when I was hanging on the hook.
