Survs i switch.
I play less killers - i do some dailys.
-
I like this map.
Don´t understand the hate - nor for Hawkins - still sad it is gone.
-
Yes, everything that raises player satisfaction is good for the longer term. More happy players more recommendation, more sales...

I disagree. Maybe it's just my area but there has been a significant decrease in players, both survivor and killer. I mostly see the same people every time I play which was not the case before the RE chapter.
That may be an mmr thing. I play around 2 years now and have almost never seen a player twice this time.
-
There was an old viedo on YT with the console frames and they were around 60 fps back then.
Before the whole upgrades.
I don´t know if there is a new one but as i feel it, PS4 may be around 40-50 or so. It is overall relatively smooth for me but there are some slowdowns here and there. (and some stutter and freezes)
XBox i don´t know.
-
Ein Perk heißt Agitation/Erregung - damit ist der Killer schneller, wenn er einen Surv trägt. Ich glaub bis zu 18%.
-
It is good that there are some other useful perks.
But most people won´t run these nevertheless.
You only have 4 spots and there are some perks that are essential.
-
Yes, QoL feature.

When the five gens are done... but one survivor is hooked (in solo q). Do you go for the save?
When i'm the last survivor hooked, i'd rather have my teammates escape as three than giving the killer more kills for no reason. But they always go to save me... and then i feel obligated to do the same (what doesn't always end well).
No.
But very depending on the situation. If we tried to save at the end it very often results in death for everyone.
But sometimes i will try even if i know i will die.
But as stated here a lot - Killer camping, NOED, very far from gate - or open escape challenge (!) - then no.
-
And some still don´t get that most killers don´t camp for fun.
A lot camp because they can´t catch survs, maybe bacause they are too good for them. And you realize that fast as killer.
If you luckily get a down you defend that hook to try to get at least this one kill.
And if this is your only option you came to Bubba because he is the best Hook Defender.
I can confidently assume that most campers have been bullied by some SWF Groups before.
-
The forum would explode with crying survivors.
And Sluzzys Thread would have 10.000 comments..
-
Some moris are kinda hard. Clown and Ghostface, and even Myers when they punch his shoulder...
But more different moris would be cool.
-
Survivors sadly lost all fear of killers.
It is funny in another thread we had it that Myers and Bubba are the only real threatening killers left because people are really terrified to get Tombstoned or Basecamped. Here all of their toys don´t work - and that induces fear.. we desperately need more of that.
-
The omnipresent problem.
Trickster is strong and very very annoying against low to mid tier survs - getting weaker and weaker against mid to high tier survs...
I hate it that if you got caught in open field he just runs after you spamming knifes.
But i like his crazy laughs and looks overall.
-
Grabs work very rarely for me.
-
Not yet. I just hope it will be good.
-
They hate him because it is enough that the chains feel annoying and strong.
Sometimes i chain someone and get a hit.
The chain hunt is strong but i mostly i don´t get much value out of it because they solve the box imediately - and always at a wall or under a pallet or so, that i spawn in awkward places and can´t reach them...
What the actual outcome of the match is, is not so important i think.
Problem as always - too strong for low to mid survs - weak for mid to high survs.
-
You get most of this for free with the right teammates.
-
Here in Europe you have to play at evenings / nights to get the Swat groups.
In the lobby you can already see a lot.
P3 Outfits are good, especially Flashlights, i found very goofy outfits are often good players (often not that toxic)
Names are sometimes telling - something like GodGamer - Best_xyz - Toxic... (these are often bad players, but will celebrate the escape)
For me the annoying ones are often Nea, Meg, Feng and Ace, sometimes Claudette.
-
Sad - i want the snow back in the Lobby...
-
Just had games where i really thought if this Dwight could be a bot... his name was also Temp-........
And yes, DC should be a kill.
-
I really hope they rethink the whole thing, but i doubt it.
-
I find him annoying to go against. And as always - in low to mid MMR he can be quite hard.
The annoying thing is in open spaces he runs after you and spams his knifes and you can´t escape.
-
Yes, they should last a bit longer. But people already hate him.
-
I think they should simply lower the bloodweb prices. This would reduce the overall grind.
-
Yes, good idea.
-
No, they like him. He will likely even get more buffs.
-
You are completely right - Survivors really need to stop to run away from me. It is annoying.
-
Hm, i always save so many points that i can level them up to 10 and use their three perks to adept.

DBD was available as a free playstation plus game a few years ago. Anyone with a ps plus membership could add it to their game library to download at any time in the future. I imagine there were a ton of PS4 players who tried it not realizing what kind of game it even was and then stopped playing immediately after.
Ah - i didn´t know that. That may be a reason.
-
The idea of the survivors being really a bit different is good. Not only skins.

With how many free weekends DbD has had throughout its life, it's not all that surprising. Many, MANY one-time players just drop the game as soon as they realise it isn't for them. Yet they are still counted for the purposes of achievements.
It's also why every new achievement introduced is bound to be "rare" according to Steam.
Right. But on PS4 there are no free weekends. It is a pity you don´t have actual numbers behind these trophys.
But i thought the playerbase on PS4 is pretty big. Therefore these numbers seem very low.
Another one - get a character to level 25 - 29.4% have this - ONE char to level 25..
-
Last one reminds on Mouth of Sauron.

droping a pallet right next to a teammate when the killer is nowhere nearby, no its not.
Oh - ok, then no.
-
@Yatol said:
droping pallet and sliding on hit over and over, I will take the DC penalty.
That is probably a tome challenge. You have to vault 5 times while in chase.
-
Most annoying thing ever happened was on Hawkins. Teammate came around the corner where i was hooked. Hatch was spawned in front of me.
He ran past me and escaped through hatch without unhooking me. That was..... not nice.
Sandbaggin yes, and not dare to save of Hook when the killer clearly is chasing someone.

Insidious Basement Bubba is one of the few terrifying things about DBD. Certainly, as someone who sees Bubba take a survivor down into the basement, unless I actually see him roaming the map I am never going for that save.
In terms of countering, unless the rescuer has BT (and even then I've seen that fail with backwards-flailing Bubba) or simply pressuring gens to the point he feels he would rather not just have the 1k there is little else against a competent player, but the big issue is with the guy on the hook. That guy's game is over. It's extremely rare that I've been the victim of it, but it does suck.
You are right - for the hooked it sucks. But it only takes a few minutes and you are in the next game. Try to not go down first.
But as you describe it you are right - i think Bubba is actually terrifying because most survs know, that all their beloved rescue perks maybe will not save them this time.
Maybe Bubba is the only real threatening Killer left in DbD.
-
When i face him he is more often strong than bad.
His T3 screwd up many matches.
-
Mostly WGLF (Points), Self-Care (yes), Kindred and Sprint-Burst.
For challenges i switch.
-
If they are clearly weaker than me. If i get newbies i usually stop if i dominate and let them do stuff and get out.

Yep. Killers are in such a bad state right now... Almost impossible to win! 🙄
If you ask around i am sure you will find much more survs with 4 escapes...
-
Camping is not a real problem. It is Bubbas thing.
There are 25 other killers with other things.
Bubba is good at camping - everybody knows it, so no secret. You can adjust or maybe die.
You don´t play only against Bubbas.
The exact same argument could be made on some special surv perks. When you see them as killer you also have to adapt or maybe loose.
-
Woohoo!
-
Santa Clown is cool - also Krampus and Dwelf.
But i am really thinking - is it worth it. I don´t play these killers so often. And it is still 6 bucks and 11 for Krampus...
-
I can´t play him. I don´t get the steering thing.
-
I just played Doc on the Game. Got 16 pallets.
I need my the Game offerings now...
-
Again a fundamental debate - why should the last survivor have to escape?
If you are last and Hatch is closed it is bad luck. You most likely die.
Sometimes you maybe get super lucky search a chest and find a key or manage to open the gate somehow.
But if a killer got to this state he simply has won.
Go on to the next game.
-
For real - what should you do as killer?
If you get looped you realize quickly if the survs are too good for you. Should you try to catch one the whole game?
No, you switch.
And if by accident you down somebody you can also stay at the hook and try to get maybe 1k.
And even that is very uncertain unless you play Bubba who actually can punish bad unhooking.
Sadly many people who complain have never played killer against a too good team. Getting destoryed as killer is equally unfun.
-
Yep, example of this sounds so good in theory...
