Welp, guess I'll get used to it then, that's as good of a reason to not care about the lime green that I could have been given.
I might still change the green (I'm not a fan) I'd prefer a blue tbh for links...will see how I can play around with things to get the colours better next week.

Let me double check settings and see if anythings where it shouldn't be.
okay, couldn't see anything that was out of place but I refreshed all the image permissions just in case, let me know if it's changed anything.

problem with the old red was that as the background is dark it's super hard for colour blind people to see it :(

I don't moderate at all...I'm a Team Lead Community Management, so I'm in charge of coordinators and moderators etc and I work across all digital games.

We are aware of this issue, Matchmaking Incentives have been temporarily removed whilst we resolve the issue.

The matchmaking incentives weren't working as intended, so we have removed them temporarily whilst they get fixed.

Unfortunately I'm limited on what I can change with this, scrolling down is the only way it can be done I'm afraid :(
I will be cleaning up the Avatar pool in due course to remove some unused Avatars and keep them at a more sustainable level, so there will at least be less avatars to scroll through :(

Eggnog is not chicken milk. :). Eggnog has milk, cream, egg yolk, usually cinnamon, nutmeg
must admit I've never tried it (my boss raves about it however)...I just find it funny that it's called chicken milk here. It's rather offputting and not at all what it really is.

While I don’t like things in my coffee, steamed Eggnog is REALLYgood in coffee. Doesn’t froth up like regular milk though.
I am not sure how I feel about that "steamed eggnog"...I've arrived in Montreal and with the translation to French, eggnog is now chicken milk, and I do not know how I feel about that at all!

It’s such an amazing smell to wake up too.
I also enjoy that morning routine of brewing it, it's the first thing I do - then as it's brewing grab a quick shower, then sit and enjoy my coffee peacefully. It's definitely a huge part of my daily routine, and as boring as a routine sounds - I wouldn't change this one.

I've volunteered with them and it just so happens that they needed a "caretaker" for their local partnership with the pet store. Basically someone to come into the store each day to feed and water the kitties (especially water, they'll stay tiny and smol if you don't properly water your cats!) and change the litter box and whatnot. So in theory, we're about to see a lot more new kitty pics!!!
That's so cool! Well done for volunteering like that, I am sure the kitties are going to really appreciate having someone so caring looking after them!
And yay, we get more cute pics!

I think it's great to use the bots to practice if you don't have a full group for a custom match...they're not going to feel like you're playing against a "real" survivor for the most part but they're pretty good. It's also great for getting the hang of a killer power before playing on the Live game, I definitely like that time to practice and get to know the power...and for me, I'm practicing throwing hatchets at them, because I really want to get good with Huntress but my hatchet throwing skills are abysmal!

You might want to see if it’s possible to have the old forum URL redirect to the new forum URL when the old URL is hit.
that should be sorted now, the url has been redirected (for the most part at least)

Latest Discussions
Unlike in the past, the "Latest Discussions" section, which is the most frequently used section, does not show the number of latest comments. To view it, you must access it from each category's subpage.
Also, "Latest Discussions" shows the Meet your maker forum as well as DbD. I am not interested in that and find it intrusive.
Tabs in the upper left corner
The tabs in the upper left corner are very difficult to use.
They are Home, Latest Discussions, Categories, Information Center, and a selection of forum subcommunities (DbD, MYM, BHVR).
Selecting Home and BHVR takes you to the same page. That is, the page where you select whether you want a DbD or MyM forum.
Clicking on a category will take you to the DbD Forum home page.
The Information Center displays patch notes, rules, game information, etc.
Frankly, it doesn't seem to be organized yet.
Clicking on a category should give you access to a pull-down to categories such as lore, off-topic, etc.
Dark Mode
As someone already mentioned, the design is not suitable for dark mode.
Some areas are darker black than dark mode. The ribbon button on the favorite discussion falls into that category.
I'm sure there are many more, but these are the points I have noticed over the past day. I'm sure I'll add more, but I can't count on my voice being heard since the feedback section of the forum has been removed.
I can address a couple of your points right now.
Recent Discussions is still customisable, I'm checking which options that I can switch on/off to make it more user friendly (accounting for mobile users here as well).
The "home" button is temporary, it's to help fix an issue with the mobile version where there's no way to switch between sub forums - this is something that we've raised with the hosting company.
The same with the recent discussions pulling from both sub communities - this is something that will be fixed so that on DbD you will see only DbD related threads, and on MyM you will see only MyM threads.
Colour schemes can still change, there's some changes that we can make to make things more visible etc and we will be doing these over the coming days...we're still a wip on here right now. Those changes should help with dark mode as well.

I find it very hard to read the "new" after a thread's name. Need to get real close to make out there's even a number there to begin with.
I will be making adjustments to that over the next few days - changing the colour of that black as it really is pretty hard to read on the dark background.

Same here. I keep getting signed out, then my password (which I know I entered correctly several times) stopped working and I had to reset it to something new.
Not loving this so far.
I've just adjusted that function, it shouldn't log you out anymore only after really extended period of time.

no they are characters in our game. They can't be purchased any longer, but I am still able to use their images on the forums.

I will be updating Avatars - will be removing a lot as well as we are running out of space for everything. It also needs to be sustainable long term, each chapter with at least two characters, at least 6 perks and each one of these avatars have to be created.
I may drop the perk avatars completely, have all the characters that I can, plus have some charm ones in there. It's something I'm hopefully going to have completed by the end of next week, but as you see in the screenshot we have some people away at the moment so I don't fully have the time to complete everything on this, would have liked to have had them ready for the forum upgrade but that wasn't feasible. I'm hopeful by the end of next week they will be ready, that's my target date at least.

you'd need to check your profile, you can see where it shows your profile icon in my screenshot.

yes unfortunately the redirect hasn't gone through and the website pages should be updated tomorrow. If people have got the older forums bookmarked the redirect will also bring them here, hopefully that should all propagate fully tomorrow.

Where are the notifications? 😂 I'm on Android using Chrome and I don't see them anywhere like I did before. I only saw GoodBoyKaru quoted me because it popped up while I was looking at a different post.
on android, click on your profile pic - you will see the message notification, plus the bell icon there for forum notifications...with a gap between them so you can click easily

How is that going to work?
Will all DMs just be reviewed by mods or is it more like “you can flag/report it if it’s something bad and then it’ll get looked at”?
Either way love to see that it’s a thing now.
Not all will need to be reviewed by mods, you can flag the DM and we can review it - screenshots won't be necessary as we can access things.
I want to be able to trust our users, DM's was a highly requested feature when I asked a few months ago as was the ability to ignore a user. These are features I can toggle on/off easily also, if they turn out to be problematic then they can get switched off, however I would like to give these features a good trial.

whew that's a relief. During the building process of this, I was double checking everything with my mobile to make sure that there was no issues - we do have one or two problems (which is why there is a "home" button on the top bar temporarily) on the mobile version, but it's definitely a lot smoother and user friendly than the last one.

We will also be able to moderate DM's - I want our forum users to feel safe here, this is an important factor for me, which is why I was hesitant to use these features, but I also want you to have an enjoyable experience on the forum.

That should be switched on prior to the weekend! You will have the option to ignore a user and you won't see their comments or DM's.
You can also have group DM's on the go.

It is yes, it's changing a lot of things with the forum, software as well. Which is why I'll be putting it offline for a few hours - it might come back sooner, but I want to make sure that things are functioning before putting it back Live.
