SWF is not cheating, neither is using voice communication in game - please do not spread misinformation.
Giving Solo Survivor similar information to SWF is just bridging the gap slightly and a nice Quality of Live update for Solo Survivor which is unarguably seen as the more difficult role in the game right now.

Just want to be clear, this wasn't something that only affected UK server - it did affect other servers as well, although not quite as prominently.

Auric Cells do not transfer between accounts I'm afraid...so if purchased on Windows Store they would need to be used on the Windows Store version of the game.

Can say for certain, nobody is going to be banned for any perks that they use!
Deerstalker, sloppy, third seal and knock-out, that's a build for a specific playstyle, and a legit one at that! Yes it might very well be stronger against solo survivors, it's also a good slowdown for SWF - as it gets players off gens to get up their team mates.
Players are free to choose what perks they wish and to play the style of game that they wish to play as long as it's within the game rules and this is not something that will be bannable not now or in the future.

OK, I'm closing this thread - it's turned particularly messy with a lot of misinformation being spread.
Slugging/camping/tunnelling etc ARE NOT REPORTABLE...neither is bleeding out a survivor and closing the hatch in their face.
What is reportable under griefing is if this killer does this to you, and only you across SEVERAL matches, specifically targeting you and not anyone else.

I'm sorry, but in cases where you've left a match before the match has ended, a DC penalty will apply - this penalty increases, as you have found out, to discourage players from rage quitting and ruining matches, whilst also giving you time to cool off between matches that you've quit from.
We will not remove your DC penalty.

As someone who uses Head On regularly, with Deception...I object to the bullying reference. Head On has saved me many times, and saved my team as well - even when playing Solo. It's a great perk, you will normally die for using it and most killers will bait it out once you've used it once in a match.

The only issue is for people who had an existing forum account - as migration can then not occur. That's why those that have contacted me to be verified for the Alpha Surveyor role have gone through a verification process via their email address and discord ID's.
The badge is entirely different. Once the user has the Alpha Surveyor role, they are able to request the badge via the link that I supplied earlier in this thread. The role is required to do this, as it's set on permissions only to allow the mods to handle giving out the badges only to those who are entitled to them.

yes unconfirmed members cannot post pictures, your account needs to be verified first - you need to confirm your address etc.
This is not something I can do my end, as this is purely an email thing - you were sent an email when you created your account asking you to confirm your email address. You are allowed to post threads, comments without doing that but not images.

not just that you don't need to do a gen, you can't do a gen - the remaining uncompleted gens are blocked.

Not really, I still check the stuff that I particularly want on the bloodweb and work out the most efficient pathing...although what I have noticed is that I don't spend BP so frequently. Before I used to struggle to save up as I'd spend it after each match, but now I have a few million stored up at any given point.

I hope this is an optional feature if implemented. Or for it to simply be hidden only in lobby and shown in endgame only like with killers. What would be the point in me grinding as a survivor and prestiging to p100 if i cant show my dedication and love for a character i worked so hard for.
When you see my p100 David, i want to show my fellow players how much this character means to me. How i am treated/perform in game honestly just depends on gameplay mechanics that can be readily adjusted if needed which i hope the next midchapter will alleviate for solo q players.
I would agree with showing it in the end screen so you can show off your prestige levels a bit.
This isn't down to me though but I can certainly represent the general feeling from the community on this.

This wouldn't be possible I'm afraid, there's no way to limit what can be changed under the setting - so it's either on or off. And due to names being limited on a database, as once a name is used it's gone for good, we've had to limit name changes and we can only allow one per forum user for the lifetime of the account.

It's something that I've considered and I would like to do in a future update. It's not a simple matter though and a lot of API work would need to be done with the hosting company and tech departments etc. I would also not make game stats available to all to see, this would need to be something that forum users could opt in or out of.

It's just been adjusted, not sure how that was missed I'm afraid. So thank you very much for bringing the issue to my attention. It should now be showing as reduced in your game, you may need to restart game however.

Unfortunately there is not a light mode, we do not have that functionality to switch between modes like that I'm afraid.
I will have a check in with what we can do re the discussion information showing up and see if I can limit it, even if it's just limited on mobile.

Unfortunately this is a bug that's been raised to our hosting company, there's nothing I can do on my end to fix this I'm afraid (I have tried). It's a waiting game right now for when they will do an update to it - and unfortunately with this being the holiday period, I do not expect it to change until sometime in January :(

This is something that has been discussed within the Team...it is also something that I will bring up again in the new year after the holiday period as it seems a lot of our players want the Prestige number to be hidden.

No, because the killer is viewing the lobby, as a survivor you do not even see the killer character in the lobby at all. Which is why this is not against the platform specific rules.

All we need is a feature which makes our usernames hidden until the end, that way it won’t affect any kind of platform functionality or features - It is currently like this for the Killer usernames already and we can’t see it until the end of the match. Console Survivors should have a setting which would be essentially the same thing, only our names would be replaced with the Survivors we are currently using until the end of the match. If someone sends messages and hate after the match, we can block them and delete the message without even reading it.
Doing this would fix in-game targeted harassment for console Survivors and would retain all platform level blocking functionality. Not only this, but it would also reduce the disparity between console and PC users, making us feel appreciated. We could switch Survivors between matches to retain anonymity if we wished for a more definitive anonymous experience.
I don’t see any logical reason why this shouldn’t be considered when Anonymous mode PC users are running rampant in cross-play matches right now, while console users have nothing at all to protect us from this targeted toxicity and harassment. In my 4k hours of this game (80% Survivor) I have dealt with this targeted harassment for a very long time. When anonymous mode was accidentally put on console, I played it for about 50 hours and my escape rate was as high as 90% some days as a solo Survivor. I would really appreciate it if this message got seen by the Development Team and Leadership Team of Dead by Daylight. You have a great game on your hands and I’m a big fan.
Unfortunately this would be directly over riding the platform specific features which shows names - which is why the feature was removed from Consoles after it had gone live.
