@Leonardo1ita the OP of that thread has actually confirmed it on this very forum that I edited nothing. I don't deny when I edit a post because if I edit something it's because something isn't in our forum rules - I would never edit someone's post and write GG - that would be incredibly childish and not my style in the slightest. I also usually leave a comment as to why I've edited something.
-
that's most definitely a cheat. I've removed the video to not showcase it.

Can you, (mods), explain how exactly this information gets passed to the higher ups? We're aware that you have noticed the influx of threads, but how do we know that our posts are actually getting recognized by the dev team, if they are at all?
Because a couple of us are full time BHVR employees and this is part of our jobs.

That's already been discussed, but every single time it's been discussed the mods have moved it to a supervoid (superthread in Feedback) and it's hidden from everyone.
I even argued against it and won, yet it's still going on because they have the final word.
It's not "hidden" in Feedback at all - it's in the correct sub forum for what it is...which is feedback. So when people want to read feedback on things they go to exactly the correct sub forum.
FYI we've already taken the feedback internally (that is our jobs), so complaining at us for doing our jobs and not moving threads to where they need to go is hardly helpful to anyone and definitely a way to not get your feedback listened to is to be rude about it. Constructive feedback is usually read and listened to, rants, raves, insults - not.

Didn't you literally edit a discussion post that you didnt like to say "GG"?
No, I moved that post - so it marks it as an edit. GG was all the original poster wrote!
-
Nobody is censoring anything, people are free to discussing but organising attacks on our outlets is something that is prohibited in our rules - hence the thread you are referring to, being closed.
-
I'd like to remind everyone that attempting to organise attacks on our outlets is certainly not something we promote on our forums.
People are free to spend their money how they wish!

@Jakojo sadly not, I just checked. I'll do a full PC restart later, that usually kicks the updates off for me, it's happened before
-
There is a bug report logged for this issue. I'll close this and link to the original report which can be voted up : https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/199573/not-getting-the-right-amount-of-devous-credit-for-playing-trapper-for-tier-1-20-000-bloodpoints#latest
-
Steam is still showing me nothing despite a restart!
-
There's no update of which I am aware, Steam is not showing me anything either.
-
We do have a bug report listed for this issue, I do suggest voting up that post here https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/199573/not-getting-the-right-amount-of-devous-credit-for-playing-trapper-for-tier-1-20-000-bloodpoints#latest

True @TheClownIsKing those extra 20s of being broken is also a pretty long time in an actual match, the chances of finding someone is higher and then they are only one hit - I think a lot of people don't realise quite how powerful that is. A survivor who is injured is going to be less cocky about staying on a Gen if the killer is coming etc, because there's a lot more risk involved...so it definitely adds to the map pressure.
-
Worst one for me was Haddonfield, 4 times in a row as killer. :)
-
I rarely see it used in matches tbh, I did wonder if with the change to WGLF that we might see more of this being used.
-
Thank you for your well thought out feedback.
-
Did you use the Red Twine addon?
-
I've not seen this reported previously, I suggest you make a report in the Bug Report section so it can be addressed - https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs

I know this is not going to address all your concerns, but we really are trying to get this matter sorted. Please bare with us, whilst we do this and we really do apologise for what you are experiencing right now.
-
We are aware of the console issues, especially since yesterdays patch. The team is aware and is looking into it but we don't yet have a fix or an ETA I'm afraid.
I'm sorry that I don't have further news for you.
-
Thanks @SenzuDuck
@Jos_724 I didn't edit anything, the forum puts that notice when threads are moved...and I moved this one to the correct Sub Forum!
-
Because Feedback is feedback whether it's positive or negative!
That's the way feedback works
-
For future reference please make a post like this in the Bug Report Section of the forums...for right now, there's already a bug report in on this issue, please feel free to upvote that to show that it's widespread, thank you.
-
No it's not dying, there's always peaks and troughs in any game as your graphic itself shows...it's up 10k on average players from this time last year.
-
Patch size was 8.8GB's. What possibly happened was that your downloads got corrupted - it can happen due to poor internet I'm afraid.
-
No threads are being deleted except those that are against our rules. We are, however merging threads to avoid the whole of the front page of the forum being threads about the event as people do want to discuss other things.
It's also a lot easier for us to get Feedback when it's put in the correct place and when it's all combined.
-
I really like the lighting on the map, some areas of grass feel a bit bare to me though. The textures on the walls, grass, buildings etc are really good imo.
Breakable walls I am not completely sold on however.
-
We are really not going to have this conversation on our forum...it would definitely fall under the naming & shaming rules.
-
Can you verify your game files please to see if this restores the missing DLC.
Thank you
-
Right now the only information that I have is that we are looking into this issue.
-
Can someone get me a video of this please?
-
AFAIK there's no plans to put the game onto Mac.
-
I can't access the link on We Transfer I'm afraid - do you have a youtube link or another link in which I can check this - thank you.
-
The skins are absolutely incredible!
-
These stats are only regarding ACTIVE CHALLENGES - please don't try to read more into them than that
-
Aura reading is now the same across all Tiers, this is probably why the changes have been made - prior to this, T1 was better than T3...now it's not.
96m is already a huge range, I don't think that this is going to be a problem with the perk and I definitely don't think you can say the perk has been nerfed.
-
And for Make Your Choice, you need to be 32m away from the hook to activate the perk, it does light up to tell you when it is active.
-
We communicated this from the very beginning, and said that it would be at least 6 months before they were able to be obtained by other means. It's now been a year, so I think the exclusivity of them for that length of time is perfectly acceptable.
-
First of all, this is a Live game so some things are always going to change.
Secondly, as not much information is available with regards to the Licenced Characters in the Tomes/Rift/Archives, it's not clear whether you will need to play as these characters in order to complete the challenges. So it's probably worth waiting until more information is known before forming an opinion on it.
-
I'm going to add something to this - we do notify people with regards to when an exploit is bannable, and it's usually one that's pretty game breaking such as Legion's blades. It's not something that's done randomly.
-
Definitely I'd go for Agi over IG but I don't run either in my build as I don't have much problem getting to hooks.
-
I'd say definitely Nurse as well, also a lot of respect to good Huntress players as I can't hit the side of a barn door with a brick!

I'm so sorry @GoodBoyKaru . I don't think I interacted with him much, but I remember him being very kind. I can't say I feel your pain, only because you were the one who was hurting the most on this forum. My great grandmother died on my birthday, and my mom is also currently suffering from cancer herself. I can't comprehend the pain you went through.
I hope I'm not coming across as unintentionally insensitive.
Am very sorry to hear this, my condolences to you & your family.
-
We are aware of this issue, and it's being looked into - we will update with more information when it becomes available
-
I will DM you.
-
Head On, Q&Q, Iron will & Dstrike
I will often swap out one of the last two for Inner Strength when playing solo.
-
Please, when creating a poll do it constructively or place a feedback posts about your suggestion in the correct sub forum - ie Feedback & Suggestions.
-
As most people are completely disregarding what both Rizzo & Peanits have said with regards to the Archive/Rift/Challenge information, I'm going to close this as it's getting argumentative for no reason.
-
The only time I will drop the God pallet is if it's late in the match and I'm on death hook (I also have to be injured), it's such a strong pallet, it's not worth dropping any earlier than that.

Looking at the statistics and given their seemingly purposeful lack of clarity I have to ask:
Were the developers testing the community to see how they'd respond to statistics?
Given that parts of the community processed it logically and realized they weren't total statistics given the generator numbers were clearly wrong(It implies ~0.16 generators get completed per game).
While others used them to instantly harass other parts of the player base without even knowing the context or validity of these numbers.
The numbers being for the archives and thus are meaningless also adds to this idea.
So if it was a test I think the community failed mainly due to the numerous members trying to harass others using them and thus we won't be getting any more statistics for a long time.
Not in the slightest, it's purely a celebration of one year of the Archives/Rift. We wanted to share what was achieved by players during this time, they're not statistics in that sense of the word.
