But I am too lazy to post it for you 🙄
Curse our laziness

Like I don't get how nft's took off its a blatant and obvious ponzi scheme
-
Also reminder that Pic crew is free
Most of these nfts are just ugly Pic crews that you can't even customize yourselves
-
Again Don't be surprised if this happens again
Buyers got their NFTs, but a promise of a fighting game built around them went up in smoke. -

Everything I've researched about Boss Protocol seems highly suspect to me. Someone would either have to be really naive or brave to hand over their hard earned money to that company in my opinion.
I mean the people who participate and buy nfts tend to make themselves look like morons whenever they try and defend nfts
-
@DwarvenTavern said:
I hope boss Protocol gets a virus and loses everything then gets arrested.
Honestly I hope it's another evil ape situation where the people who participated in it get screwed over
Like it would be hilarious if the people who hold the hellraiser ip gets screwed over

They're most likely fans of crypto & NFT's.
I clicked on multiple accounts, I scrolled down, and YEP! Crypto, NFT retweets, and all that money wasting stuff! :)
So yeah, it's people who are fans of THAT stuff.
But I still want to believe they're bots.
I'm pretty sure they are bots
There's tons of crypto bots on Twitter
Like no joke if you mention the words nft and crypto you used to get 5+ bot follows and replies
-
Inb4 it's another evil ape situation

Like no ######### that the game will have a new peak theres a event plus the game is f2p atm

Between the BP codes, the tweet about NFTs and the free weekend, I think there might be some damage control going on.
Oh most certainly also I find it funny how we can't leave or take breaks because of our disappointment with bhvr without some bootlickers saying ######### like we're starting a boycott when all we really done is say that we are disappointed and will be Uninstalling the game until you show us that you won't lie again and apparently encouraging people to not buy the hellraiser chapter when they get back from their breaks because bhvr and that nft studio ruined it via bhvr lying to the community and the fact they supported a ponzi scheme
But numbers guyssss
-
Tool kits was the big one for me
-
If they do a full 180, give us an apology and make a announcement that nfts are a scam followed by a few patches I might come back to the game
-
They already have with the removal of number badges at the end of matches, the increase of wait times caused by the stupid sbmm system and the fact that they lied to us with the whole nft situation
-
That's good to hear

I had a stroke in April so I had to take a break from gaming in general
But I'm fine and back to playing games... yes including this one
Had a similar break during the anniversary event(had my first anxiety attack and ever since than I couldn't function that well until I got some anxiety medicine) hope you didn't have any issues recovering

When it comes to companies (and, indeed, anything capitalistic in our society), the only way to teach or damage is through the wallet.
Unless there are other options I'm not aware of?
Money talks and bullsheet walks baby.
Ooh I'm stealing that
That is such a good phrase lol

How exactly is it you think we can "cause damage"? The only way TO cause damage (and make them pay attention) is by hitting their wallet.
Yep and that's what I'm doing not touching the game not buying anything but still looking at fan made stuff as this community can make some great stuff

I been playing on the super mario 35th anniversary collection mainly mario galaxy on my switch which i got a week ago. Been having fun and will play mario 64 afterwords or give it to my brother.
Im hoping to see what vhs has in store as it look fun to play. Sadly i don't have a pc to play it when it come out so im hoping to save up when i can to get one,
I do hope that game will be fun and successful enough for a console port as I have a crappy pc
-
Lol ignore the bugs buy our cosmetics and we might fix the bugs
Oh wait your on console
Buy our cosmetics and we will take forever to fix #########
-
I have quit the game cold turkey and spending the free time talking to my friends more and playing other multiplayer games to fill that spot currently it's with back 4 blood(plz valve make games again back 4 blood is fun but it's no left 4 dead 3)
-
They could've at least made viking/knight/samurai themed skins or cosmetics for certain survivors and killers
Example viking beards
-
That's why I suggested that people look up ponzi scheme as it's an obvious ponzi scheme
-
Just hit the report message a couple of times followed by elaborating on what they meant in the can you explain further box and if you see the message deleted from your xbox inbox you know that the report worked and that they got communication banned

This is unfortunately, every other game for me.
They say that to skirt around Xbox's ban system.
I'll gladly take the abuse if it means someone else doesn't have to, but Jesus Christ it's getting old.
Oh trust me that stuff doesn't get around the xbox communication ban had a case where I was banned for a day for saying your favorite food must be white bread because your insults have no substance in a text message
Xbox's message report system has been overly sensitive
-
The answer is most likely the latter
-
Look up ponzi scheme and than look at the people who try to say nfts are great

All of this is completly false, im laughing right now 😂
And congrats you went too hard with the bait
-
Currently this one and it might be definite with all the recent stuff bhvr has pulled
It was originally because I hated how my search times increased 3 fold(for both sides) ever since they implemented sbmm and how the removed the number badges at the results screen but because of the fact they lied to us and are working with nfts that was a major dick move
If the current one doesn't count I would say a few days or a week as during the last anniversary I had my first anxiety attack ever at the movie theater and it screwed me up hard that I couldn't control my anxiety properly anymore

DBD matches provide some usefulness to the world in the form of entertainement, they are a form of leisure and people need leisure on their lifes. NFTs contribute nothing to society, they are just overpriced .jpg receipts that require a ton of energy to be generated and in the end anyone can "save image as" instead of having to resort to a blockchain. Plus Im willing to bet all those transactions consume much more energy than all DBD servers by a large margin.
On sidenote, I wonder what would happen if people start using NFT images ripped fom the web to print posters, tshirts etc and sell them, are NFTs recognized by any goverment? can you actually sue people saving the image from your NFT and using it without your consent? are NFTs legally binding in any way?.
Nope they are not legally binding in any way
-
And I don't blame them these last few decisions (sbmm, the removal of the number badges at end game, the way it seems they are ignoring the hacking issue going around and the fact they lied to us with the nft stuff) made by bhvr has done a lot of damage to the game
-
They're probably trying to squeeze out as much fun and salt they can before a lot of users drop the game leading to even longer wait times

Automobiles are a physical thing and are necessary for transportation for some
Nfts are purely digital and are a blatant ponzi scheme
Wait I got confused I thought you were the one making the original comparison my b

How much energy does a single nft transaction require.
How much emissions does a single automobile create in a year.
This is the second time I've asked you to answer that question.
Automobiles are a physical thing and are necessary for transportation for some
Nfts are purely digital and are a blatant ponzi scheme

But I HATE NFT ! I dont support it at all, but dbd is not related to NFT thats what people dont understand.
By supporting the hellraiser chapter and bhvr at this time you're supporting the holders of the license that had the idea to work with nfts and are giving the message to the higher ups at bhvr that people will forgive us for whatever stupid deals we make with licenses
-
1.Look up the definition of ponzi scheme and pyramid scam
2. Ok now combine that with tons of unnecessary energy waste that causes damage to the enviroment
3. Now combine that with people stealing art to make into nft's against the artist's wishes
4. And combine that with how some of the developers at bhvr are angry that their work is being used in a nft promotion
5. Now combine that with the fact they lied to us when they said they weren't working with nfts
-
@MyelinXCVIII said:
They might not sell them but they (at least the people making the decisions) knowingly made a deal that involved adapting content for use as an NFT.
We need to keep the pressure on them and keep threads like this relevant.
Agreed they are obviously trying to weasel out
Like they might not be selling nfts but they were working with a nft company and promoting them

Thats what I was thinking, you have no argument except "Im boycotting because im woke"
I dont care about the company, I care about the game, the devs, and the players.
But maybe your wokeness cant understand I dissociate workers and companies :x
If you care about the devs you would hate the nfts as well
-
Like for me sbmm had me go on a extended break but it's going to be a definite break now tbh from the looks of it the bad decisions are going to continue
-
@Superyoshiegg said:
You say 'skipping out on' as if the Chapter is still upcoming and hasn't already been out for a month and a half.
This post was meant for the people who didn't buy it yet as they could've been on break from dbd
-
By not buying the hellraiser chapter they will get the data that the chapter is a miss plus the current owners of the hellraiser ip won't be getting support from you

Indirectly supporting. I ultimately don't have control over where my money goes. When i buy anything from BHVR. That money could be in some person's paycheck, that could be used for what i would see as horrible things. I just don't see the point of worrying about stuff like that.
What do you mean you have no control over where your money goes
-
@[Deleted User] said:
I'm not defending them but i don't see the worth in me "attacking" them by stopping playing the video game that i enjoy. I just won't buy NFTs, that's enough for me.
If you buy the chapter your supporting nfts as the money will go to the people who currently own the license and are pulling this scam
-
Unless they get rid of the awful sbmm in 4 weeks those numbers are going to continue to go down you're acting nfts are the only thing causing people to leave
-
Crypto isn't a file system

@fogdonkey said:

NTFS is a filesystem
No they aren't
They are pointless urls/strings of letters and numbers that link to files with the appeal of you "owning that url and the file that's attached to it"
-
Also let's not forget the fact that they also lied when info got leaked saying that they had no involvement
Only to say they are involved
-
@Tr1nity said:

Even if they were made with good intentions, there will always be that one guy who cant sell their NFT, and many instances of people getting the money, and dropping out.
It's literally a blatant ponzi scheme/pyramid scam
