The word exploit can mean taking advantage of an advantageous situation. It doesn't always mean cheating. In the case of slugging it is clear that I, and evidenced by their plans to change this, BHVR as well, disagree with YOU. It is not working how either of us think it should, and using it is clearly an exploit that needs to be fixed.

Your opinion on the topic doesn't change those facts. You are wrong. Undeniably completely 100% wrong. Slugging can be exploited, and it is being exploited.

Also, if slugging were an exploit, Knock Out, Deerstalker, Tenacity, Exponential, Unbreakable, those would all not exist. It is more than obvious it's an intended game mechanic given it's existed since the game was made and they have literally built perks on the concept of its existence. They are updating it, but they aren't removing it, because it isn't a bug or exploit.

Just like tunneling. They added basekit abilities to help counteract it, but they did not remove it, and they have endorsed it in the past, and there are multiple perks to help against it, which there would not be if it were an exploit or bannable.

I could go more in depth, but someone else has already torn your argument apart.

Sorry, hun, your opinion on the topic doesn't change the facts. It sounds like you might be undeniably completely 100% wrong.

I guess according to your own logic, you must not have graduated basic education.

Next you'll tell me that proving you wrong is exploiting an unfair advantage in the debate 🤭

I only use NOED when i have an exposed challenge.

It really just isn’t that powerful anymore. Usually gets one down and or hook unless RNG puts the totem next to a downed surivor. Then i just is one kill because the other survivors just leave.

IMO there's better/easier ways to finish an exposed challenge. There are some good ultra rares for it, but obviously those are hard to come by. Make Your Choice, Devour Hope, Haunted Ground, Hubris, Starstruck, and Myers/Ghostface's powers are really good ways to get it done that don't require all 5 gens to be finished, and (except for haunted ground) can be used multiple times in a match.

  • I can barely understand what you're even saying, but wiggle progress doesn't regress. If you wiggle 50%, and you are dropped, when the killer picks you back up again, you will be even higher than 50% because you get a bonus for being dropped. If the killer tries to drop you when you're almost wiggled, it will even automatically let you break out because the bonus applies immediately.

I love how guard ground minion spotted me on second floor on dead saloon and flew to me to hit me. Ofc every guard killer I met camps the hooked person with their guards. Imagine Nemesis Zombies able to fly and always relatively fast plus get past pallets? Nobody thinks thats just too insane? You should atleast be able to stun them with a pallet or let them go around if you put the pallet there and not ignore everything. Otherwise Nemesis needs buff for his zombies too. I noticed they buffed guard minions, making their surveillance range wider since they walk further.

If the guard has direct line of sight to you and you're in the radius, it will jump to you. It also does so if you're in the radius and make a noise notification.

Nobody thinks that's too insane, no, because Nemesis zombies don't contribute in most matches. There's a reason Nemesis has an actual power that can explode pallets and whatnot, he is objectively the better killer. They can only fly when they first detect you, which is rarely relevant. The guards are not really "always relatively fast" either, 2/3 are about as fast as the survivor (whereas the killer is 15% faster).

Yes, Nemesis should get a buff for his zombies, they are total trash most of the time. At the very least they should fix the zombie pathfinding, almost every single match a zombie will somehow get stuck on a wall and not move for the rest of the match.

I agree, there's a lot of killers who need serious nerfing and killers who need serious buffing (Like why the hell would someone choose Trapper or fun billy when you have blight nurse artist or in this case knight). The power level difference between some of them is astonishing.

Also lmfao at all the people defending Knight saying he's not good.

Same goes to people saying the game is survivor sided or that vs'ing knight is a skill issue, like bruh... how is it a skill issue when all survivors can even do is hold W until they die.

I miss the old days where killers weren't loop-denying 5heads with a Press M2 to win option. Even more when the forums weren't a bunch of entitled 1 siders completely biased in their own opinions entirely overlooking raw facts (looking at the "this game is survivor sided" clowns🤡).

He isn't good. Holding W does not cause you to die or it wouldn't be counterplay. I understand you keep losing to him, but it's not the killer's fault, it's yours.

I can't believe you actually unironically compared Knight to Blight and Nurse and implied they were a similar power level. Wow.

    @kisfenkin said:

I think it needs to be made clear that the word exploit has a definition other than reportable and bannable cheating, because some people obviously don't seem to know that fact and therefore jump to conclusions.

To excessively use a frowned upon method of playing the game in order to win is obviously, to anyone that graduated basic education, EXPLOITING an unfair advantage. Slugging, specifically, can be referred to as an exploit in both ways, because we know the devs are trying to figure out a fair way to fix this unfair and unfun mechanic. It is clear they intend to stop those players that are overusing this exploit as a means to not only win, but to try to punish and torture their opponents.

Now, is the knight the best killer in the game, no, but is he the best at camping, tunneling, and slugging? Maybe. However, I don't think he needs nerfs, what we need is more punishment to dissuade against camping and to end slugging completely. At that point he will probably need buffs. It would be nice if there was an in game reason not to tunnel as well. I've brought it up in the past that maybe the killer should lose % bp if they hook the same survivor twice in a row, and give those bp to a killed survivor if they are tunneled to death.

Exploiting definitely isn't "excessively using a frowned upon method of playing the game". Slugging is not an exploit.

"In video games, an exploit is the use of a bug or glitch, or use of elements of a game system in a manner not intended by the game's designers, in a way that gives a substantial unfair advantage to players using it."

An exploit is explicitly the abuse of a bug in the game. Camping, tunneling, and slugging are not bugs, and in fact the devs have condoned those behaviors before, clearly proving beyond a shadow of a doubt they are not exploits.

In addition, playing the game in a way that makes you mad is not an unfair advantage.

I use the Anniversary skin, which is an improvement, but he still looks like Cucumber The Conqueror.

Oh, I didn't even know that skin existed. It looks badass in the concept art but not so much in game.

The new Bone Chill Dredge skin looks really cool from the concept art, it has no neck from what I can tell, hopefully it looks great in-game too

    Hey all,

Firstly, I would recommend showing survivors which perks and add-ons they have equipped in the lounge. This would allow solo and SWF to coordinate their perks and add-ons. I would love to see an option for both killers and survivors whether they want to play with/against an SWF of 3 or more; I don't find many issues with two-person SWFs. Finally, I would like more added for survivor and killer objectives, something to shake the game up and stop the complainers complaining about the game being stale.

    Thoughts?

Survivor loadout displays sounds like a pretty good idea; one more step towards unifying solo Q and SWF.

SWF option is never going to happen; they would make casual/ranked matchmaking before that, and that is also probably never going to happen.

More objectives would be nice, though. Events tend to do a good job of that, like I thought the rift energy voids were a lot of fun.

    @Unimatrix00 said:

Another idea I would like to see implemented would be the removal of map offerings to maps that aren't considered well balanced. So maps like The Game, Eyrie of Crows, RPD maybe...

Definitely not going to happen. Removing all map offerings is more likely, but considering Sacrificial Ward exists, that's almost definitely not going to happen either.

Besides, removing map offerings will make it a lot more annoying to get achievements like, say, the one where you have to open the exit gate and escape 20 times on RPD.

    @Rulebreaker said:

Survivors being able to see each others perks and item add-ons would defiantly be nice even with the dcs that would follow.

Giving people the option to play with/against swfs however probably would lead to extreme que times for them which would alienate a good chunk of the players who want to play with friends.

We would love side objectives as long as their optional and give some in-trial reward other than bloodpoints. That being said, the devs need to balance alota things before adding them.

As for your last idea, we'd them rebalance maps than remove the offerings. (And maybe make sacrificial ward override everything)

The real answer is in fact balancing the maps properly. If the maps are balanced then why would you remove offerings? They would also by nature be balanced as a result.

Lack of Coordination is Part of the Game for Survivors. Why don't you people understand that!?

The game was made for 4 Solo people to work together once they are Knees Deep and not go there Prepared for everything. SWF onl exists to allow freinds to play together however SWF's inherently offer a level of coordination and information that killers are not prepared to compete with.

YOU'RE NOT BATMAN WITH PREP TIME! And you shouldn't get that Prep Time.

IF you can't change killer once you're in queue then Survivors shouldn't change either. You're stuck with your 3 Builds on that character and that's it, same as Killers.

Information is Super Strong in this game and you people want to give Survivors all the information before a match starts!? That will only work if you give killers the same treatment. And while you can tell me: but Killers already have Lethal Pursuer" i guarantee you Lethal Pursuer doesn't win any match at all. IT let's you see where people Spawn and that's it. IT's precious information ( the perk works for too long imo, i'd make it 5 seconds base and 7 seconds with it's self buff) but it's not a GG killer wins. Survivors can just as easily spread and work on their objective 3x faster than killer can.

So Imagine the scenario where Survivors are already preped and the killer doesn't have Lethal Pursuer... What do you think is gonna happen!?

This is so against the spirit and intent of the game.

Listen, this isn't Evil Dead where you set up a team, and even Evil Dead as whole mid match progression system and loot system to make things more interesting than just picking the right characters.

You can say DbD does that with Perks but inherently every survivor plays the same, not so in Evil Dead, in Evil Dead you are looking for specific things which you may not get because you're unlucky or because you had no time to explore and get them. In DbD you can slap a Perk on any survivor and it will work the same way for all of them. That means the Perks keep their value no matter what. If survivors outside of SWF can coordinate like a SWF then Killers need to get stronger.

You can't buff Solo Queue without also buffing SWF's and you can't buff Solo Queue to SWF strength without doing something to help killers.

I'd go with Map design but that's a tricky one cause inherently Survivors are absolutly blank slates, so their first means of defense is the Maps themselves, the ability to loop and waste time.

If i know you have DH or Lithe and you're in a chase i'll just let you do whatever you're doing and i'll stay on the gen. If i know you have Deliverance then i won't go for you, i'll work on the gen.

Do you see where this is going? I'll always be able to be on the objective because i got access to Information that just makes the game irrelevant.

Uh, yeah, you just buff Solo Q to be on par with SWF and you buff killer to be on par with SWF and then everything is good. I don't know why you wrote so much about a topic with such a simple answer.

  • Buff the regression to 15% and lower the incapacitated duration to like 10 seconds, then everyone's happy.

  • Demogorgon, I love how he scream and teleporting is cool

Dredge, I like teleporting and also nightfall is really cool

Legion, I love how he looks and sprinting around stabbing people is fun

Wesker, slamming people into things is very satisfying and throwing people is hilarious

    @StarLost said:

As in - you really just need a fun game, whether that means an easy win or just a killer you like mechanically.

    For me:

Hag. Whenever I get tired of her, I give it a few days and I'm back on her. She was my first proper main and, by playing her as a non camping 'roaming' Hag, I have a ton of fun. Plus, she's one of a few killers that can actually scare people.

Dredge. Just...love this thing. The only thing I don't like is the silly visual design. Mobility, stealth, a fun anti-loop, great addons - all without being OP or overplayed.

Artist. Another killer that I loved from word one, and still do. Nearly infinite skillcap. If her addons were a bit less boring, she'd probably be my main.

Honorable mentions to Ghostface (tons of fun, just super janky at times when you get revealed by a passing breeze) and Wesker (just...overplayed).

Don't worry about the visual design, there's a free cosmetic set for him in the event tome that actually looks surprisingly good, so you no longer have to look like male genitalia.

Also there's the skeleton skin in the store for shards, that one's okay.

  • @gchiasson said:

I know people often are annoyed when people say to nerf the new killer 'because they don't know how to play against them yet' and while I feel that sometimes rings true, this is b.s.

Throughout all the games I have played against the Knight (maybe a dozen in total) there is not a single killer who exploits the game more than him. Blame it on the community, blame it on the individual killer all you want, but the developers LET this happen, and they're not going to care to fix it.

I've played killer, I've played survivor, I can tell you for a fact it is a killer-oriented game. That's not too big of a problem though, the win rate shouldn't be 50-50 and should be more 20-80 in favour of the killers, I'm not disagreeing. But I have not once won against the knight unless they are giving the game to the survivors once.

The main reason? Not skill. Not because the survivors are bad. The knight's are CONSTANTLY camping/tunnelling/slugging/any other exploit they can get away with. Even twice in the matter of 3 games in one night, the Knight has put someone on the hook, camped and used his green sphere to find others while staying put. Done this to every survivor.

What I hate is that the green sphere with the additional knight has no boundaries. Unless you have a few specific perks, you can't outrun it, you can't pull pallets down, you are 100% going to be hit. And the killer can just repeatedly do this while camping the person on the hook. If anyone goes for this person, they have to look out for the knight and his little buddies he sends. Over and over and over again. I'm not kidding when I say it has exclusively been a knight problem, the exploits are so easy to get away with with him, and that's why it's so abused. It's the least fun I've had playing, where you go on the hook once and you might as well not bother to get anyone on the hook either, because you're dead. Even when I think of how to counter him and this method of play, there's nothing. I'm not going to bother going for players on the hook now when I play against the knight because it is every game. The knight needs a nerf cause I'm not even sure I care to play against him. It'd be different if they played the game properly, but the knight is so clearly the biggest 'toxic and exploiting' killer that he is the easiest go-to of any toxic player, and that's the problem.

If you think the developers want the Knight to use exploits and don't care to fix it, then why would you think they would nerf him? And how do you explain the multiple hotfixes to his exploits?

Camping, tunnelling, and slugging are not exploits.

The Knight can't even see you while he's using the green sphere, but you can see the green sphere. The amount of information you have, coupled with how it takes several seconds for the guard to even actually spawn, makes it extremely difficult for a Knight player to actually spawn a guard on top of you to have them chase you. The general consensus seems to be that his guards are just a bad anti-loop. Also, nothing about the orb prevents you from dropping pallets, in fact you can actually stun the orb by dropping a pallet on it and it stuns the Knight himself.

Once again, nothing you mentioned is an exploit.

The main counter to his power is simply holding W. With the amount of info you get and how slow the power is, you can generally escape it with relative ease. Even if it actually starts chasing you, it takes a while just to actually start following you, and 2 of the 3 guards are almost exactly the same speed as you, with poor pathfinding (often getting stuck on walls).

The Knight is honestly probably one of the worst killers, if you want to camp you're almost definitely better off just playing Leatherface.

Bro, what is it in you defending the Dwight? You probably don't even play solo, try playing with a person who is not contributing after killer is ignoring them. How is that NOT teaming? It's an agreement of Dwight not progressing the game and deciding not to save any of his teammates left (we were like 3, game can still be played) and Killer also not killing him because he plans on giving him hatch. if that's not co-operation what is?

I hope for your next 20 games you get SWFs that tilt you off the face of the earth and make you reconsider if you wanna continue playing this games, jesus.

Considering that I reported the user, if their report system works, they should be able to take my report seriously and review the game themselves, but that doesn't change the fact of whether I would post the video or not - and would be more effort than I am willing to give, to blur out the name so that I can prove some random on the forums wrong.

Do you hold other users that complain about survivors to the same standard?

Yeah I'm pretty sure they don't actually have any sort of match replay function, even in-house, so there's no way for them to review the game themselves, which is why they would be reliant on your video.

We didn't refuse to commit. We were trying to do two gens to pressure the killer a bit more, and he would only enter the area, and at most send his guards after us to run us away from the area.

I already said we tried to do the gen, even injured and he refused to do the chase. Im tired of repeating myself tbh.

being on the other side of the map high-fiving =/= commitment

Yes, we stopped trying to get the gens, and did the snowmen objectives, and the killer didnt leave the area whatsoever. He'd injure the two dead on hook ppl and wouldn't just down them to secure the kills.

...so you're complaining about him allegedly holding the game hostage while you refused to do gens, thereby holding the game hostage? lol

I dont record my games with the intention of 'trying to catch people out', that's ######### and terrible. I benefit nothing from posting about my experiences because they already happened, and all i can ask is for future killers to be more sympathetic.

I've not talked down on anyone just trying to defend strategically, or using regression perks. I'm trying to condemn people that hold the game hostage, and in this case - the game lasted 50 minutes and the guy continued to stalk my profile afterwards for some reason. I have a clip of end chat where the killer was being an ass and admitting that he didnt care for holding the game hostage but I'm not going to post it either because im not looking to name or shame.

you know you can censor names, right?

  • Dude, you are way too butthurt about this. If seeing someone be good at Blight makes you so angry you have to go around crucifying people for having any amount of fun if it's not personally approved by you, and you have to basically say "if you don't play the killers I want you to you're EVIL", then you need to either get some help or take a break.

  • i like how he didn't even name the perks so everyone has to guess what he means lmao

Definitely not 85% of killers are using one or the other. I don't usually see them in my matches, NOED is mostly a low MMR thing to my knowledge, because a good killer is wasting a perk slot on NOED when they could use something that actually helps them all match and can't fail to activate the one time it does get to be used. I don't see much Eruption either surprisingly

NOED is kind of a lame perk though, since I almost exclusively see it used by people who aren't very good so they can get a free surprise kill at the end of the match. Often you can tell if they're using it part way through the match and you'll know you need to cleanse the totems.

The cue for it is hilariously easy to notice, they may as well put "OH MY GOD NOED IS ACTIVE!!!" in giant red letters on your screen. In fact, I'm pretty sure they literally put the perk's name on the screen.

The second perk you mentioned, you said it blows up so I'm guessing it's Eruption and not DMS. Eruption is not nearly as strong as you make it out to be. Killer can't see what gens are being worked on at any point with Eruption. People can work on the generator while it regresses, only specifically the people who were working on it at the moment of the down get incapacitated. Killer has to kick the generator to activate the perk at all, and it rewards them for downing survivors; kind of a win more perk. With the 3 gen scenario, every generator has to have progress, then the killer has to go manually kick each one individually, then they have to get a down after that. It doesn't trigger automatically like you seem to think it does. If you aren't on the gen when it blows up, you don't get incapacitated.

It doesn't even work on hooks, it only triggers on downs and furthermore it has a 30 second cooldown afterwards. Hooking does not activate Eruption.

I think you're mixing like 3 perks in your head. I'm guessing maybe the killer was running Jolt, Eruption, Pain Res, and Dead Man's Switch, and you for some reason think those are all one perk; otherwise, you forgot to read the perk or you're lying.

But then again, if you reach that stage than you need to ask what you are doing wrong.

Cause bloodlust 2 and 3 takes to long to get there, and the chase had to be ended long before that, either by a down or going on a different survivor.

Nowhere to Hide is a really cool perk, fun to run with a kicking build

Hex: Face the Darkness seems fairly mediocre to me so far, though then again I've seen it twice, once when I did adept knight and once when I was surviving against someone doing adept knight lmao

Hubris is kinda funny, I guess. It makes for an interesting pallet hate build, but I don't think it's actually that good.

No where to Hide - It's nice on some killer's that are mobile.

Hex:Face the Darkness - I love this perk, not strong on it's own but with Leathal Purser it's deadly on Artist, Huntress, Dredge. Also interrupts and can activate DMS during the hooking process. Dredge's Nightfall makes it activate with the undectable. It's also good on Pig to interrupt box searching.

Hubris - Meh tbh, no one is going to stun you once they realise you have it. They'll just Pre drop.

face the darkness synergizes with lethal pursuer? wow

I mean you have to take into account the amount off people that just pick piggy cause they are saw fans and don't even know about booing

and the amount of people playing her for a challenge or daily

I made this tweet "You receive: Removal of double lockers flashlight save (absurdly easy to counter). We receive: More consistent flashlight saves in general." and a bunch of killer mains were salty in my replies lmao

    "absurdly easy to counter" lmfao

only if you count throwing the game or disconnecting

oh here is the regular I will counter your arguments with my arguments about the other side

adrenaline - the survivors have to finish the gens to do even get value from this 1 time use perk and it still does not guarantee it will achieve anything unless you can coordinate some cool adrenaline play - which you cannot in solo q

unbreakable - are you serious? It's the killer's mistake he slugged someone, the killer made a risky choice, and if there's unbreakable in play

    it's on them

    dead hard - nerfed

    old ds - nerfed

off the record - nerfed, does not work end game

bnps and syringe are powerful yes but not in the same extent eruption is, unless you once again have 4 man team with 4 bnps which you won't have in your average solo q match

yes because I am able to control if 3 gen happens or no in solo :) and if the killer has gen-kicking perks there are high chances that at the point of the match where we are at 1 gen or 2 gens left all gens have been kicked :)

I personally have nothing against old killer meta with ruin undying as they are easily countered, even pr/dms has a counter when you are on your own, but Eurption is overtuned far more than those older killer meta perks

"this perk was nerfed at some point" =/= "this perk is perfectly balanced"

"it's the survivor's mistake he got downed, the survivor made a risky choice, and if eruption is in play it's on them"

People meme Among Us and it's not taken seriously because of it's cutesy artstyle and terrible public lobbies, but Among Us unironically would make for a good chapter.

Like, if we look at the actual situation of what is happening in-game, it's innocent people stuck in an (fairly, depending on map) enclosed space with at least one fake alien(s) who will viciously maul, stab, eat or shoot any fellow crewmate behind closed doors, and continue to do so until everyone is dead. They will use any means at their disposal to succeed in their goal, including causing disasters, sabotaging communications and making it difficult to figure out who it is. Even going as far as to fool the others when the innocent people try to get rid of who is killing them...

It's honestly the perfect horror setup.

You could take the characters and adapt them to DBD's artstyle, take one of the Among Us maps and make it more dark and sinister, and you'd have a good chapter right there.

This is just something I got online, but imagine how it could look in DBD's artstyle...

That's The Thing, yes, a horror classic

  • Not to mention DS and BT, the other two perks that you had to just assume were in every single match, are no longer that way - BT is basekit, so obviously it always happens and you know for sure, and DS got nerfed to the point if you do get hit by it, it doesn't even really matter, so nobody uses it.

Well it was pig on RPD so nothing too crazy, 200 is still a long time though!

If that was truly the case people wouldn't rage and moan about X killer.

Having a full team do nothing is not fun, the game went on far too long and died on my first hook.

The game physically punishes me and will put me with worse players when I want to verse people my skill. Its no fun otherwise.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3287957#Comment_3287957

Yeah but the issue is it's so common to get at least 1 player like this in most games which just shouldn't happen as its screws balancing because killers win games they shouldn't.

Today was a complete mess as survivor, every game was just a nightmare of me being misplaced and if I died I know I'm getting punished for it

Things absolutely do not have to be a big deal for people to rage and moan about them. People will rage and moan about literally anything, surely you know that by now.

  • If you don't want to play anymore then don't?

I have no obligation to keep you playing the game, so I don't really care if your next break is "permanent", as unlikely as that is.

Feel free to take a break, you sound very burnt out on the game, and eventually you'll feel the desire to return to it, perhaps when you hear about a new killer that interests you or something.

    Something’s amiss.

    Are you rerolling them?

  • Generally if it seems like the survivors want to be friendly (standing still, gesturing at me, crouchspamming in a non-toxic way, dropping an item, or otherwise doing something that would be a colossally bad play if they weren't trying to charm me), as long as they weren't toxic earlier I'll befriend them.

  • I think the Entity basically is that. Lol

It would give this game even more uniqueness. Right now , hooks and endgame collapse are not that immersive.

Survivors need to feel the presence of this being during the trials.

Perhaps it could have a mood meter in game ? Players could do things that might impress it or make it more curious. Or do things that would make it angry.

Both killers and survivors could fight to nudge its favor.

It could also act as a judge in the trial in some ways. It could punnish unsportmanship.

The longer the trial lasts the more it may want to intervene too. It could reward either side or hinder on the fly. It might affect the map and objects in game. All to make it more fun for the players.

Right now it is kinda basic with gens and hooks.

I think dbd gameplay would gain another dimension with this.

A mood meter sounds really interesting. Reminds me of Xom, the chaos god from Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup, and your piety (a representation of your devotion and service to your god) would change randomly as he had mood swings and would do random ######### to you and your general vicinity with varying degrees of niceness depending on his mood.

Only a small thing, but... Could we make it so that you can get Nancy, Steve, and Demo teachable perks at levels 1, 2, and 3 (dependent on prestige)? This is of cause for those players that had paid for the DLC beforehand.

Yes, this would be really great. Really lame that my three prestiges on Demo do nothing.

As funny as they are, they render Twins in particular virtually powerless. That’s a valid reason to complain, I’d say.

That could be a problem if anyone actually played them. Twins renders themself literally powerless often enough as it is through random bugs.

The monitor is probably the last thing to being a problem the specs in your PC tower are more likely to be the issue if you are using old and outdated tech some games especially ones that are endlessly updating for years will become harder for older PCs to run you will probably have to lower your game settings if your specs are not enough for the setting you are running your game on.

It could also be that the game is glitchy especially after the knight release and is causing lag and delays

could also be whoever the host of the lobbies internet or yours or the connection between the two

there are no lobby hosts anymore, dedicated servers instead

  • @BrightWolf said:

I agree, the number of times I've had people DC on death hook just to spite the killer, be it me or a random is just astounding. It should certainly count towards achievements and sacrifice. Vise Versa if the killer DCs, it should be counted as an escape.

Now I know that not every DC is a player throwing a tantrum, it can legitimately be because of bad internet or the DbD servers having a stroke. But nine times out of ten it is because the player is mad at "dying" first. Or in the case of the killer, because they're being outplayed, they don't like the map or killer etc.

If the killer DCs, it DOES count as an escape. That's how I got one of the challenges in the latest tome. Lol

The add on only activates if you are being HUNTED. So if you see the green orb just run out before the guard spots you.

And no, this won't affect new survivors as new survivors don't hang out in the exit gate as they are too scared and just leave as soon as the gate opens.

I mean, this guy is a new survivor and it affected him. :P
