Forced prestige is BS, the old method of getting perks at lvl 40 was fine. Why am I now forced to P3 EVERYONE just to have perks unlocked on other characters? On top of that adding BP cost to actually prestige.
Reducing the amount of BP gained in the shrine by 50k is also an asinine move.
"reduce the grind" LOL sure BHVR.
If you p1'd a killer/survivor you would get tier 3 of all their perks since it boosts you to p3 I ended up getting every killer perk available for me which saves a bunch of grinding
-
Blight requires a lot of map knowledge/understanding of collision and a plan in your head for where your bumps will be depending on where the survivor goes
-
Why does bhvr give survs the most insane toolbox possible for these events when the medkits/flashlights are much more tame. Very common to see 4 man toolbox squads with prove.

Built to Last requires sitting in a locker for 12+ seconds, for diminishing returns each time it’s used in a trial. How much time does it actually save, if any?
Prove Thyself is a necessary survivor perk option because of all the stackable gen damaging, regressing, and blocking perks available to killers. I think it shaves something like six seconds off of co-op repair times, from start to finish.
Items are completely busted in dbd especially toolboxes since you can save about 80% gen time with the strongest toolbox setups/perks. For built to last it's not that much of a time sink and you should only be using it at most 2 times. You can combine streetwise too for even more benefit if you can your buddy stack streetwise and one prove you can knock out a very important gen long before the first chase even gets close to finishing and spread out and use the rest of your toolboxes to crush the other gens.
-
I blame prove thyself & strong toolboxes with built to last etc. Gens can already be done very fast if people know what they're doing but add onto that commodious with bnp and perks to replenish your toolbox and you can end the game ridiculously quickly.

Personally I think Oni is above Artist. His snowball potential is absolutely huge, and he can get a hit on most any loop while in power. His early game is a weakness but he has insane comeback potential to make up for it. His addons are also solid.
Side note- the Yamaoka family lore is really cool, I wish they would expand on it.
Not even for oni you can just drop as many pallets as needed making him a m1 killer until someone messes up + strong healing options are available. Artist has insane anti loop + map pressure/info from the start.
-
Nothing will change in all honesty since hug techs are more for show than anything else besides at a few loops. It's going to suck trying to traverse indoor maps without it though and getting around the god awful collision some objects/maps have.
-
They're some of the most impactful perks in the game lmao
-
DBD forum impossible challenge: Try not to respond to the worst bait posts of the century
-
It's basically a wasted perk slot besides nemmy/slinger/demo and even then slowdown is always better, really satisfying though!

I don't experience vacuuming whenever I play survivor.
Plus, it was WAY worse in the past.
It's still rather strong/janky especially when doing it from the side which let's you easily guarantee a stun by baiting the killer into thinking you're being greedy and going for an extra loop. It seems some vacuum is needed though considering how sketchy it can be for the pallet prompt to even pop up
-
The whole point of no mither is the ability to get the effects of being injured for other perks. The devs have mentioned it before.

Doing gens is how survivors win the game. It's the killers job to stop them. There is no such thing as a genrush.
You clearly haven't went against a 4 man commodious bnp w/ streetwise/prove thyself/built to last squad if you think genrush isn't a thing. Even the strongest tier killers would need to 4 man slug a group like that very quickly if they want any hope of not getting 4 man escaped because the amount of gen pressure they can exert is insane.
-
Play a mobility based killer that's about it
-
Learn the building loops on this map before posting stuff like this. You can buy a lot of time for free by using then well them eventually go to a pallet.
-
Alien of course
-
You could be super boring and have a standoff on the open hatch and wait until you see them. No Way Out is also a guaranteed 4k if you close the hatch
-
Well when survivors win consistently they're going to go against the few killers that can win consistently.
-
It doesn't help that even though killers get a lot more bp it's still an awful amount of grinding. You're also going to have to buy many killers if you want a specific perk/build vs survivors where the best perks are generally available for free and pray you get it in your bloodweb sooner instead of 5mil bp later at lvl 50

I was going to say Call of Brine is weak, but then I read the loud notification effect. Was that added between PTB and live? I don’t remember seeing that effect before today. It definitely changes my perspective on it.
It effectively replaces Dragon’s Grip, due to that perk only lasting half as long and its terribly long cool down.
That effect always existed, but you can lock down a 3 gen very well with call of brine

None of this works when the wraith decloaks on your ass on a generator without a pallet or window within 15 meters. You just die.
I can think of a very strong healing perk that got released that gives no excuse for being caught out injured

The difference between Legion is, his Feral Frenzy cannot down you. Wraith gets a borderline-unfair postcloak lunge which often rewards him for a very easy down with little to no effort at all.
Yes a "free easy down" at tiles you can get the pallet down in a few seconds anyways on a m1 killer. You drop the pallet early and wraith can't do anything about it. Even better just spam vault the pallet so he can't even break it while cloaked making him waste even more time. This is ignoring the fact flashlights hard counter him and you have to play safe around them or eat a ds level stun. Don't even need to mention that most windows are a strong counter unless you dedicate bamboozle.
-
"Lock his camera vertically so he can't slide off wall faces"I assume you mean the hug tech mechanic? I'm not sure the devs stances on this, but actually being able to slide off stuff at angle is very much intended if you mean sliding at all.
"Give compound 33 a big cool down for using it to break pallets, 3-5 seconds, and remove hinder on pallet break. Hinder effect doesn't work on survivor in a locker."I agree compound 33 is very strong especially combined with adrenaline vial. He has a lot of problematic addons that make him much stronger with no downside.
"Don't allow him to immediately swing after starting a lethal rush as his lethal rush hit boxes are already scuffed as is. Reduce the directional lunge boost he gets during a lethal rush to prevent him getting a hit at 135 degree angles from the direction of his rush. Any one of these being implemented would make him better to go against and reduce his ability to get a hit from, even on both sides, would have been logically by every other killer, a missed hit. No killer should be allowed to have insane mobility with janky hitboxes."If this was the case then survivors could purposely get in his face to avoid a hit in tight loops which seems very unfair. If they reduce his starting hitbox he will be able to get juked way too easily since he has to commit to a swing direction and has limited turning for the most part. I don't think you're realizing blight has to use his rushes to get an opening to even hit a survivor before going for a swing so he's using his charges/ which are on cooldown to possibly get a hit and if he misses he's slowed down and becomes a m1 killer. His turn rate/flicks are very much intended to be the way they are.
-
@ItsJesseFFS said:
No. His post-uncloak lunge literally guaranteed a completely free hit.
Legion gets free injures with his power and more easily what's wrong with that? This just makes that first hit much harder which is the main point of his ambush attack. Unless the tile was very bad to begin with you were only making them drop a pallet a little bit quicker. At the end of the day he's still a m1 killer who has to eat pallets/pallet stuns with some mobility and stealth.
-
I'd agree with you on the survivor perks being pretty meh, but Floods of Rage is busted on some of the best killers and Call of Brine is a strong perk as well.
-
Yes dodge people running the weakest items in the game instead of being happy they don't have strong toolboxes/medkits at their disposal
-
Can't wait to see more cheaters
-
I've played a lot of nurse before the recode she had and never got stunned during fatigue. Pretty sure she only gets stunned during the swing animation/post blink period, but if she goes through fatigue before the pallet is dropped due to hitting them you don't get stunned
-
It's a tinkerer that procs at 90%, gives you no indication it's working, and rarely even works because people know how to press space.
-
I used to main wraith and the nerf made his anti loop basically pointless it was only strong on bad tiles anyways and at the end of the day he still can't do anything about just dropping pallets. COH being introduced just completely killed my interest in him.
People are pretending that he was somehow insanely strong after the buffs he got when in fact he was just becoming a mid tier instead of bottom of the barrel trash. Nerfed purely because new players can't deal with stealth
-
Yea there is no way this is intended
Watch "ZE1Fz5ufJo.mp4" on Streamable. -
Condemned is basically a joke mechanic unless you run Telephone + Ring Drawing and even then ring drawing is mostly countered just by using COH since it's just you self cared
-
I thought I was going crazy when I was testing out new nurse after the first huge nurse changes with range. Tried double range and it 100% seemed like you were going much faster and further. I imagine after recoding the range addons when they didn't work at all for a while they didn't think about the original issue.
-
Starting swing hitbox is massive on purpose she just ate it completely. If it was directional like normal lunges it would be very easy to dodge him in the open since he has to commit to a direction when swinging.
-
Skill difference

I don't know, bloodlust is a thing and you may catch up after 45 seconds, I wonder if this game can have literal infinites, those things would be blatantly obvious if it exists.
Most of them are locked behind rng with breakable walls. The Ormond double window vault is the most obvious and you can run very strong loops at Grim Pantry main if you know what you're doing.
-
The least they need to do is make it so normal hooks spawn inbetween each scourge hook so there is an even spread. Atm it's either you get a reasonable setup of scourge hooks or they spawn all on a bad side with no gens/all on an amazing 3 gen side

Yes. You said that she's so strong she doesn't need any buffs whatsoever, and that's usually reserved for S tier killers. So is she S tier Nurse level or not?
Nurse is just a whole different class of S tier since she ignores pallets, windows, and anything between you and survivors. Artist is a very strong killer and I don't have anything against buffing her since it takes a while to get very good at her. She's fine as is besides you being forced to run specific addons to really use your crows for prediction shots a lot which is the most fun way to play her.

Doctor has 2 types of tracking - his Static Blast and also his Illusionary Doctors. Illusionary Doctors work at all ranges. He can easily constantly detect survivors at all ranges on the map with the latter and with the former can much more consistently get pings on hidden survivors in his terror radius than Artist can get pings on hidden survivors using her crows. Also the fact that Artist can use her ability at long range more often doesn’t help when survivors can simply move out of the way, which doesn’t take that much “precious time”.
She’s better at loops, Doctor is way better at tracking.
Illusionary doctors are very very scary. I sure hope I don't go against a doctor ingame I might just loop them forever by predropping pallets. You're sacrificing his actually decent chase addons that make his anti loop manageable for a little aura reading. I don't understand the point about her crows being dodged. You have to be pretty far for you have to have reasonable time to avoid the crows and completely avoid the killer instinct no survivor is pulling comp team strats of calling out birds to gens lol. You only see the aura for less than a second.

Maybe read the rest of it
Her tracking is superior to doctor since it's not on an insane cooldown and works across the map. It's also an actual threat against survivors not just a m1 killer making you scream. If survivors are consistently hopping off a gen and completely avoiding even the killer instinct then they are wasting precious time which might be the difference between a gen popping before you get to it or successfully saving an important gen. If you're against doctor you just stick the gen and it pops before he even gets there. She's a 115% zoning ranged killer and is very strong.
Also my point wasn't that she was close to the level of nurse, but that she is closer to nurse in terms of strength than she is to doctor.

Did you read my post?
"she’s in the same bucket as Doctor in terms of tier lists"
-
@dugman said:
Artist is good at loops but I was hoping for better results from her long range tracking ability. Doctor is one of my favorite killers to play because of his excellent tracking and his ability is good in loops, and Artist is a similar sort of killer. But the long range tracking is pretty easily thwarted since survivors can see the crow auras coming from far away and dodge them, leaving many of those tracking shots to be misses against survivors who pay attention to their surroundings. Doctor’s tracking is just way more consistently useful.
Technically she’s probably a bit stronger than Doctor in a loop since her ability can in principle directly damage a survivor versus just keep them from vaulting or dropping a pallet. I’m not good enough with her yet though to really consistently get those hits though unfortunately, so I’m still way better with Doctor at loops than her. That’s a “get good” problem on my end obviously though.
Anyway I’ve said from the very beginning she’s in the same bucket as Doctor in terms of tier lists and that still seems to be the case. If you like Doctor you also probably like her and vice versa, more or less.
She's closer to nurse than doctor in terms of power lmao. You use her birds to pressure people off gens/for gen info and at loops to block off pallets/windows. If they either have to leave or take the hit you can easily catch up to them since they're getting zoned constantly.
-
Artist is the first killer in a while to even get close to being considered an S tier. She's on the border of S & A tier practically so I don't see how she needs buffs. Her major issue is her kit is just a boring playstyle if you want to be strong with it.
-
Nothing can be done about it really it's just a latency difference. Nemesis' tentacle can also be "dragged" which might make the hits look weird too.
-
Makes sense
-
I could see his best addons getting nerfed, but his basekit is just fine. Unless you're going against an amazing blight he can very easily be played around.

She will get more changes if needed. They gave her buffs that a lot of people were asking for.
The main point everyone made was that her TV's and her main teleport power can be very much controlled by survivors and they didn't touch it at all. No one cared about her "anti loop" gimmick and the condemnation buff is very minor.
-
50% chance? That's insane even for a perk that forces you to be injured.
-
Oh no survivors have to spread out and work on gens further away and actually think about gen spread more so awful! Why can't we just hold m1 immediately on a gen and then leave through the exit gates.
