Killer: Don't waste too much time on amazing survivors and instead go for the weak links and pressure them off gens.
Survivor: Hold shift + w and do gens when not in a chase.

The grind incentivizes you to keep playing the game since you've already invested so much time into it. There are youtubers with 1000s of hours in the game that haven't even maxed the killers yet. Think sunk cost fallacy.

You never get something right the first time, it takes trail and error to get something right. MMR has worked successfully in other games and will work successfully in this game unless the Devs take your advice and just give up.
The thing is though mmr works in other games because there is a ranked mode where people know what they're getting into and most have casual modes as well. They would have to split queues to add ranked and it would tank queue times. The only game I can think of that enforces mmr no matter the mode is COD and it basically ruined any fun in that game. I pray it isn't the engagement based match making bs they use because that stuff killed my enjoyment of the game.

3 gens left, 2 people dead, 1 slugged, one injured. You don't know how to loop and you didn't even think of sitting in the pallet and using the uncloak lunge speed? It wouldn't have mattered if you got stunned you can catch up as wraith in nano seconds.

Okay these are 2 very different uses of dead hard one is hoping the killer f*cks up and the other is legitimately uncounterable. I commented about how dead hard FOR DISTANCE had no counter play and you told me to just bait it out. Smart survivors aren't gonna get caught in a dead zone unless they have literally nowhere else to go, which means either the map royally screwed them over or they messed up what gens to do, so yes dead hard in a dead zone can be baited out but if the survivor has a few brain cells that's not how its gonna be used unless as a last resort.
Learn to zone people properly into deadzones

That doesn't help anymore. Yesterday I had 5 occasions where I hit them with basic quick attack, and 5 times they dead harded through that. Especially with that tech that allows a survivor to dead hard straight through the killer. You are literally at his butt, you click M1 (not lunging), and he is instantly behind you without getting hit. How do you counter that?
You gotta have some patience lmao. Only time someone effectively uses deadhard against me in the open is if I get greedy and lunge. Literally just kiss them and if they don't dh moments after they will get exhausted on ground even if they time it

What's ridiculous is how often you get hit mid animation and go down, exhausted on the ground, and killers constantly complain about a perk that works at best half the time. Imagine if it actually worked. Imagine if BBQ only worked half the time. Can't you just be happy they destroyed DS? Or do you not think survivors should have perks at all?
No idea what you're even going on about killers have the priority on hits and survivors have priority on pallet stuns. Seems perfectly balanced

Anyone who thinks DBD was better, more fun version didn’t play much back in the day. Sure, people usually didn’t know as much, but when you did find people who wanted to sweat, no thank you. Killers have so much more at their disposal, and so much less problematic aspects to the game.
Old DBD you could literally inf loop killers just by vaulting any room with 2 windows. No bloodlust no nothing
-
99% of killer issues are just awfully large maps with tons of safe loops that let one survivor that is decent get 2-3 gens out of you. Some of the stronger killers just ignore loops or have mobility to break up the w key playstyle so it can be managed.

Are you using flashlights with powerful add ons to stun killers outta of kills or bringing keys? I tunneling and camp those guys outta games. I do what I gotta do cause they’re a huge threat so be a good player if you’re gonna draw their attention with those items and gameplay
This a joke post or what? Keys I can understand since they all look the same but flashlight users are basically free hits if you can bait them in. Run agitation or lightborn if you're that worried when you can face a wall.
