or even better - significantly cut down the prices in the bloodweb, by 2000 each item for example; as i said, this game has the worst levelup system of all time, it's flawed at its core - grinding one killer to unlock the POSSIBILITY to make their perks appear in another's bloodweb, and prestiging gives zero reward in terms of grinding process
Or that. It was already bad, when I started 3 years ago and now there are about 12 more caracters per role to level up....

I don't think that a Hacker would be able to do so, otherwise cryptocurrency wouldn't be a thing if you can just hack in more bitcoin or whatever to the pool. You might be able to make it look like you've got more bitcoin on your end, but it won't be accepted by the system. Think of it like how Perk icon packs work on PC: You see the change, but it's not something that is seen by other people.
For some, that is enough if only they can see the effect, however for the people that this kind of thing is targeting, that prestige is something that they want to show off to others, not just something they experience themselves.
I just hope it's fake

How should I know?
I have already given up. They made him a rich architect from Bavaria, give him Lederhosen which look nothing like the real ones in addition to the clichee german looks with blonde hair and pale eyes. Do I need to continue? If they add a skin with him wearing socks in sandals , it will just put one more stereotype onto the list.

It depends, that receipt can be used to enable/disable certain feature of online services, or can be used as "verification" that you are the owner of something if the NFT "receipt" is for a real-world item (And whoever stores/supplies that item agrees with this NFT setup, EG: the Mona Lisa example, you could have an NFT setup for it, and take the actual painting, if the Museum itself was the one who setup that NFT)
In the case with Pinhead, it's probably going to enable/disable Pinhead features based on if you have one of these Masters of Horror NFTs. I'm wondering how they're actually going to link them, and if these are things that could be hacked and enabled on the server, or only on the client.
I have no doubt that the functionality to be able to enable/disable characters/maps without a hotfix plays a large role in whatever they are doing with Pinhead. Being able to enable/disable game features without a hotfix on a player-by-player basis.
This is so ######### up if you think about it. I'm just waiting for a hacker to give this to everyone just to ######### them all up.

considering the levelup system in the game (aka the grindfest on par with f2p mobile games) dailies are hardly 'a bonus'
Those 30k BP dailys don't even give you a full Lv 50 web. Survivor rituals are all 30k and one 35k missions. Killers have at least the possibility to get a 45k or 60k mission.
They should give at least 50k for standard rituals (use killer's power, do gens, sabo), 60k for some more luck envolved or tideous ones (get a 2k, open exit gate, heal, unhook, co-op), 75k for chasing rituals and 100k for the most difficult ones (Mori/escape with new item). Or something like that.
-
And as Survivor Main I don't want to see 5 Killer daylies in a row. And somehow it's always with the killers I never really play.

I have legit had a Dave and a Steve. Steve today and Dave yesterday. Just didn't even try to hide it. Dave started the game normally. When he failed the blind, I went a different route and ZOOM! There he went crouching like Sonic. The Steve just didn't even hide it. Got knocked down and boom was back up and unhook the person before my chainsaw finished its animation cool down. XD. Needless to say I just sat in the basement and watched TV until they got bored.
Luckily my experience was a bit weirder but shorter. The hacking Nea had a David accomplice, both were from Windows Store back when WS was the only other platform you could crossplay with and both had the crossplay icon. That Nea hat Legacy 3 (which is impossible on WS), had no collision, could fly, had infinite flashlight, could insta heal and prevent hooks. They also ddos'ed the server (it was so laggy at the offering screen), started EGC at 5 gens left and escaped before instantly ending EGC so me and my teammate just died. They instantly changed their names so you couldn't find them anymore. The match maybe lasted 3min and 1 of them was me realising that they were cheating.
Looking back to it, i think they were steam players who had a cheat to appear as WS players, so you couldn't report them properly via support ticket.
-
Here you go.
-
I met maybe 4 hackers in 4.2k hrs (2 of them lagswitchers, 1 speedhacker and 1 invincible Nea) over the past 3 years, although I think I missed some subtle ones. Maybe I'm just lucky, but I see that many content creators face a lot more hackers recently.

With the old pip system if you ran the killer the whole game the worst case scenario you got a safety pip, usually pip up. Now the game thinks you are bad and deserve to lose mmr. They just had to expand the pip system to higher ranks and make it individually for killers, it was more accurate that what we have.
Not to mention the amount of bad TEAMmates you get.

True. I still think it's a license issue. Because they don't talk about it at all. If it's a bug they usually say that's bugged, but this silence really suggests something else. They always said that they can't talk about licenses etc.

Ah, so if there isnt a "BHVR read tag" on he post, it was indeed IGNORED, no matter its content?
I don't think so. About 2.5 years ago I posted an idea of a killer (The Impaler, my version of the historically inspired Vampire theme) who could teleport once after hitting a survivor 2 or 3 times and used the already sacrificed Survivors as hindrance to the still living. They could detect other Survivors and hinder their objectives. One of his perks made his lunge attack longer.
Later we got The Oni who builds his power by hitting survivors and literally flys across the map. And we got The Nemesis with Zombies that basically do the stuff I had in mind. And a perk that altered your lunge came with the Twins: Coup de Grâce.
I also posted a complete Myers buff&add-on rework to make him better. They buffed Judith's and Vanity Mirror similar like I would have done and they also plan to bring the stalk music back what I also suggested.
These are just examples and I think there are a lot more people out there who had (similar) ideas and found them later in the game.
They do care and get the information but they are very sneaky. They just go in and out without telling you.

Only will happen when someone has a medical issue and then they get hit by legal action watch how fast it gets pumped out. It isn't even that hard or long to code, literally any conpany could have put a 1-5 second delay between the flashing unless held down and let's be honest, it will take someone literally having a medical issue to get this pumped out fast. But that Pride charm was pretty fast in it's release, medical issues for people don't get enough attention it seems. :/ shame. Maybe if the community had more journalists in the forums and they did some work this could be done. Within a week.
Pride charm (or any art related content) is done by a different team. They have nothing to do with game design and/or programming. Therefore it is understandable, that charms or cosmetics get pumped out, but fixes etc might need more time. And adding even a single line to an existing code of thousands of lines and commands might accidentally "cutt off the elevator's power supply while turning on the light". So not every simple problem has a simple solution.
-
I don't like macro clickers as well, but I never thought that it might be a safety and health issue for some people. This is very important and needs to be adressed SOON. Not in a year. Best would be in the next chapter or the mid-chapter after that.
-
That's called hook vacuum (the killer just sliding in front of the hook during animation) and needs to be fixed.
-
OP in general? No.
OP in current state? Yes.
Why? Having a survivor version of hexes is a great addition to the game. It adds a nice dynamic. But (unintentional) effects make them broken and op:
- stacking
- unlimited use
- swf abuse
- Noed and Plaything don't apply to boons
- hexes can't be cleansed (they are just "blessed over")
- The killer is stressed enough, they don't have time to snuff out totems all the time
Possible fixes:
- like anything else that gives global buffs (Prove Thyself, Open Handed etc), this mustn't stack.
- the Devs wanted it to be a strategic choice, so it should be single use only. It's bad enough that Survivors can chose where their totem is and killers can't.
- noed and plaything still prefer dull totems but if there are none, a random boon will be replaced.
- the killer can curse a dull totem of a Hex that was blessed
-
Without locking the killer MMR would be pointless.
You could just queue up with the killer you never play and then switch to your main.
-
Uff... That's bad

PH also has second power, can hit multiple survivors, doesn't need to reload, can hit through walls and yeah is 115%.
Not really same treatment deserved imo.
What about buffing his rage? To maybe 24m? And improving his reeling speed as well would be nice too. Or they could add a lullaby instead of the 32m TR where he whistles a song.
PH might have a 2ndary power, but half of the perks restrict him in what he can do.

I'm ok with them giving him the same treatment as PH, but PH could compensate, because he's 115%. So I think they should make Slinger 115% as well.

why should killers still tunnel/mori people with keys now? hatch only spawns if 1 person is left, so you can't use the key before everyone else is dead and the killer closed the hatch. many killers slug for the 4k anyways so keys are no problem anymore. the only key that needs fixing is the Broken Key (green), which doesn't open the hatch. Either remove it or give it a base aura reading.
-
Hmmmm, they nerfed Object, DS..... two very strong or annoying perks in the past. And now I can sleep well when I see keys too. I'm totally fine with Spirit/Slinger changes. Spirit was broken from the beginning and Slinger got the same treatment as PH got (finally). PH is still fine, and so Slinger will be.
Have you seen the add-on changes? EWII Mirror is finally useful, Pig gets more interesting add-ons as well and Nurse gets her 3 blinks back which are acually usable (i hope). Plus a lot of other add-on buffs we didn't see yet.

Franklin is only a defence against 4 items and chest items. You sacrifice a perk slot to make the match a little more fair.
And what about all those "nice" archive challenges where you need to heal yourself or sabo hooks or escape with an ultra rare item? Thanks for making these stupid challenges even more annoying than they already are.
Killer challenges are always part of their objective. Survivors' aren't.

Don't act like the overwhelming majority of killers aren't going to do that no matter what
True. Even if you don't bring an item, don't tbag etc they tunnel you because (insert any reason here).
One time I was tunneled "because you abused DS in a locker" and my teammate was tunneled "because he was camping a pallet".
It is ez to say "u abused DS in a locker" when I was hooked in Haddonfield's basement (without the God window) and you (as nurse) came right back and bodyblocked the exit. What should I think then lol? Of cause I go to the locker on the back of the house after I managed to squeeze through....
Some people need no reason at all. And that's so sad.

Killers have the spend bloodpoints before they join a lobby, I'm pretty sure survivors can do the same thing, it's not hard.
But you are also right, you could just lock survivors in earlier and give killers a chance to adjust.
Items aren't toxic, bring what you want, but accept if a lobby has a map, a key and 2 flashlights, the killer should be able to bring Frankie's to counter that or choose to dodge a lobby...cause it makes the 4v1 far harder for the killer.
I'm sure many will disagree....but the items get reworked, this should be the way.
I would be fine with a character + equipment lock, if I can level who I want (not role restricted of course!) during lobby and queue.

My god.. survivors really can't do anything in this game without getting crap.
So you want all 4 survivors to just try and escape? Which means you want them to all run the meta, all do solo gens and get a 4 man escape? Ok.
Personally I'd rather 4 flashlight users who try and mess around since it's something different and means they aren't trying to sweat to win.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2518501#Comment_2518501
As a said above survivors really can't win with people.
The problem with your example is that you guaranteed to get 0 kills with your basement strategy vs a good team by camping basement. The only time you get 2 kills is if your a good basement camping killer.
Thing is if your facing a 4 man swf you really want to win, they will escape probably 9/10. Exactly as I said above.
It was just an example. I know that you can't get more than 2k with basement plays if the team is at least not dumb. But that was the first thing that came to my mind when thinking about what some killers think is "fun". Same goes for 4 man slugging at 5 gens left etc.
-
It was the only map that I loved to play Mirror Myers on since they busted all the pallets on Lèry's.
And The Game is to open upstairs, and RPD is too large.
I'm sad when it's gone
-
@R1ch4rd_N1x0n said:
It's fine. If you're that afraid of it, just bring Franklin's 24/7. Franklin's Demise is more toxic than this if you ask me.
Since they changed it from "your item vanishes after X seconds" to it's current version it has become more annoying than ever. Even more annoying than it was years ago.
I just bring a brown medkit without add-ons. And if the killer has Franklin's I don't even bother picking it up, because I can't heal myself anymore. This is more annoying than the 5/10% of charge that was removed every time you got hit in the ancient version. I would rather have my item vanish after the timer ends than this bs.
-
@CashelP14 said:
It looks toxic but there's nothing else the team can do in some scenarios.
If a team decides to not do any gens and not try to escape, just for some fun with flashlights then they will need to do this. Otherwise the killer brings Franklin's or Lightborn and the are forced to not try and have fun, but instead work on gens.
Nice fun, if you give someone else a miserable time.
Fun goes both sides. How can it be "fun" to bully a killer with flashlights and/or head-on? It is the same for basement camping. How can it be "fun" if I make the match for at least one other person miserable?
-
Agree. As a German I vs a lot of players from Russia (as far east as Volgogrod or even cities in the Ural Mountains) and often I get those 5km hits after a window vault.
-
I know this system from PUBG and World Of Tanks and it was great to learn from your mistakes. As well as to see if it was just latency what screwed you or if you encountered a cheater. In PUBG you could also see what others did in a 1km radius. And that was with 100 players. Dbd has 5 players so it should be manageable.
It would be a real QOL upgrade for consoles and older PC systems who can't record themselves while playing or people who don't have a lot of space on their drives. (an auto delete function after 7 days/1 month would be great)
I think this would help a LOT.
-
@R1ch4rd_N1x0n said:
I think Distortion needs a complete rework. Here's how I think it should work:
Whenever your aura would be shown to the Killer, and they are looking in your direction Distortion activates.
While Distortion is active, your aura will not be shown to the Killer and you leave no scratch marks.
Distortion deactivates after it has been active for a total of 10/15/20 seconds depending on the Tier.
This would prevent whole ass tokens from being wasted from just 1-5 second aura reading abilities, like Doc's restraint addons, and also not waste up the perk in the event that the Killer isn't looking at you.
Alternatively, they could just add a way to gain more tokens, such as safely unhooking a Survivor, cleaning a totem, or completing a gen.
I like that.
-
Distortion was added almost 3 years ago, where there was few aura reading in the game and 3 tokens were not much but sufficient. Now with so many aura reading perks/add-ons added (wall hack Plague, oni, Lethal Pursuer, Undying etc) it needs more tokens.
-
I always said that to fix Iron Will (and not making stridor/spirit op) would be the following:
Iron will: When injured, you don't make any injured sounds but normal breathing (injured=healthy soundwise).
-> this way you can still hear anyone with iron will (also as Spirit) but they don't cry in your ear anymore.
Stridor: revert back to old state
Spirit: unable to hear injured sounds while phasing. Injured Survivors emit sounds as if they were healthy.
-> this way Spirit has no advantage against Survivors without IW and can't use Stridor to counter it. She would always be able to hear a survivor's breathing, no matter if they are healthy or not.
Problem solved.
-

More like "this is why i think killers should not able to use map offering". You want play mirrors myers than adapt to any map you get instead of trying to build comfy free hit bully simulator
Have you ever played a match as Mirror Myers on maps like Ormond or Red Forest on higher ranks or MMR?
You don't win there unless they are really stupid.

Whats your point here exactly?
Killers want to complain every hour of every day that survivors run meta perks, but then when they aren't running meta perks, they are told they should run meta perks to avoid certain niche builds?
nice, run meta perks, complain, don't run meta perks, get told to run them.
I didn't say that "they should(n't) run meta perks". I was just saying that you can't complain about stuff if there is a way to counter it. And I never said that you must run SC to counter it. I only know that some Survivors complain about everything because they are too lazy to learn. Which is often the case with something like Mirror or even Tombstone Myers.
And I am no killer main for sure. Maybe 25% of my matches are as killer, but 4k hrs of experience tell me a lot. So saying that "killers always complain about meta" is wrong.
I wouldn't need DS if killers wouldn't tunnel and teammates would not farm off the hook. Nobody would need BT if the killer doesn't camp or instantly comes back. I wouldn't need ruin/undying/Tinkerer if Survivors wouldn't extend chase for 30s or more with DH Etc.
It goes for both sides. I aim for balance. And sometimes it just needs knowledge to achieve that. That is why I told of possible counterplays.

The idea of giving only generic map offering is brilliant. Indoor, outdoor, license, original.
Though all license maps arent as good as original.
Yes some licensed maps are a nightmare, namely Haddonfield and RPD.
But since many licensed realms have only one map, grouping these together would be an improvement. And you would have about 30/70 mix of indoor vs outdoor as well (I consider Haddonfield and Springwood as outdoor).
