As someone who actually builds Unreal Engine games, the issue where collision is turned off when looking up or down and standing next to an object (Hug Tech) would be simple to fix. What I have found though, is that most game developers are not software engineers. Problems which seem complicated are quickly fixed with a simple script.

Maybe they should hire better developers so they can fix their bugs.

You could also reach out to them and explain what they can do to fix it. They also had someone from the community who helped them with the stretched res problem a few years ago.

There are also other things many people wish for (like a replay function), but the Devs said that it was "impossible to do at this state". Maybe you could help? I think many players would be very grateful😊

  • I think nobody really knows.

And I don't think they can really fix hug-tech as they have not answered this question again after it appeared and the Devs stated it was a bug. They tried to counter it by placing "anti hug-tech objects" at loops (e.g. on Borgo or GoJ) but that made more problems for all other players as they could not use their muscle memory or would get stuck at random objects). So I think they removed most of the objects again.

I don't think they will ever fix hug-tech at this point and made it secretly a feature.

  • I remember the early days of PUBG, when I was not plying dbd yet. The game also had proxy voice chat which was sometimes funny and sometimes annoying. True there were players who blasted some weird music through their mic or were toxic but there were also funny interactions.

It has pros and cons like many features.

In bdb there should be a mute button for specific players as well as an added category for report voice interactions (like harassment, threats etc and maybe even playing loud sounds). People who get reported for voice interactions a lot should be permanently muted and maybe should not even be able to hear others as punishment.

nobody complains about PH because you can hold-w and post-pone his trails by avoiding them. With wesker, his attack is harder to avoid especially point-blank. He also counters hold-w strategies if he uses the bounds at correct places where there is no obstacle to run around.

When your fully infected, He renders all anti-tunnel effects as useless. Like what your going to do? DS Wesker only to get downed 5 second later from hindered? OTR does not work and only makes it easier to go fully infected. that tunnel-off hook is what makes wesker such a potent killer. He is best tunneler in the game.

The only perk that counters his tunneling mechanic is Made for This. It grants you 3% haste. So instead of having -8% hindered, you get -5% hindered. Sure this is still speed differential but it is not as bad as -8%. MFT right now is good in every situation but with deep wound effect, it will be much more situational perk so if you run MFT, it is only for this exact type of wesker-type tunneling gameplay.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3590723#Comment_3590723

removing notification bubbles does nothing because cage always spawns directly on other side of the map. for reference, when PH first came out, you could see hook aura's of people in cages. When i am caging PH, I am directly going to the other side of the map to proxy camp the cage. Those cages are direct setup to tunnel-off hook. it is their main purpose and PH entire gameplay strength. It is similar for wesker, except wesker also has secondary tunnel mechanic where you can use killer instinct as info tool to tunnel when people use sprays. This ensures that you always chase the people with hook-states and ignore people that have 0 hook-states.

Why do all people say that Wesker is the best tunneler? He is not. Other high tier Killers can do this a lot better like Nurse or Blight (especially with alc ring or adre vial).

Instead of nerfing a single killer we should come up with ideas how we can make tunneling less attractive in general.

  • Because you had a perk which was uncounterable near windows or pallets as you actually gained distance. You cold also cross traps or other powers with it.

After they nerfed the distance gain and made it an endurance perk, the worst case was over but it was still too often used and a skilled player could drag chases for a long time. So they made it into an semi anti-tunnel perk. You can only use it once after an unhook. Even if the killer missed you in the first place.

It's fine now and still serves me well.

  • @TrueGuardian32 said:

Wesker and Pyramid Head are interesting when it comes to this topic. Pyramid Head for example can completely ignore anti tunnel mechanics. While Wesker can make those anti tunnel mechanics do nothing. There is actually something to help with these situations. Like making Wesker infection not progress after hook until a conspic action is performed.

And for Pyramid Head I would remove the bubble notif from cage rescues. And have the cage move close to the nearest survivor after a set amount of time. I would also prevent Pyramid Head from seeing caged persons aura so they don't have info to tunnel with.

Good idea. Then we could also try again what the Devs tested a while back: inflicting Torment via range attack. The problem now is, that PH can tunnel so easily if the player knows how. I tried it for a while and it felt disgusting, because it's so easy.

  • @OneGoodBoyDemo said:

It is undeniable how easy prey the survivors becomes after being unhooked and infected if Wesker decides to tunnel.

I just had a match where a teammate got tunneled over and over again and I felt so sorry for him because he was looping the killer very well until the penalty caught him twice and caused his decline.

It's okay for a killer to use his power to tunnel (even if no one likes it) but Wesker can tunnel you passively without using his power. okay he managed to use the power before but after being unhooked he can simply become an m1 killer and he will still be able to catch you faster because of the penalty.

    {Looks at Pyramid Head, looks at the community, looks back at Pyramid Head and wonders why nobody complains about him}

Seriously, it is kinda funny how many people complain about how "unfair the infection is if Wesker tunnels" but for some reason nobody complains about PH who can do the same as easily.

If you go against Wesker you have all the anti tunnel options you have basekit AND those you bring with you. If PH decides you go to the cage, you get nothing. No BT, no DS/OTR/DH, no Second Wind, no Deli, no We'll make it, nothing.

You just complain about Wesker because he is more popular than PH and therefore the chance of a Wesker who tunnels is higher than having a tunneling PH in that one out of 30 matches you see one.

Also: what do you define as tunneling? Was it reasonable for the killer to tunnel that survivor? How many gens were left? I can't condemn a killer who tunnels when 2 gens are left, but I can understand your frustration if that happened at 5 or 4 gens.

I think that reducing the infection to 1/100 charges after getting hooked is enough. Even with both infection addons you have about 60s until you get slowed down (this includes a M2 hit during endurance), which is the timer for DS, which is an anti tunnel perk. No need to remove it completely or make it stop in chase or what not.

Why would a player on PC not want to get close sole peeps in their games?

Because they are often having trouble with the controls (one button has 2 or 3 interactions bound to it) which can be detrimental and often have bad ping too.

Just 2 examples of what I heard people say. Not necessarily my opinion.

  • @Nos37 said:

I would really love to opt out of matchmaking against PC players because of the increased likelihood of facing cheaters from that platform.

Just had a match on Midwich (they used the offering for it), where I did nearly 2 loops around the entire map and not a single gen had any progress. Then bam! A gen I recently patrolled was already done. I assumed all 4 were on it and went over. Didn't find a single survivor.

I found a survivor while patrolling the next gen, and after 50 seconds of chase 3 more gens popped. I was at 1 gen remaining when I got my first injury of the match.

I opened the gates myself and went around breaking walls as soon as they popped the last one. Then spent 2 minutes ignoring them while they tried to milk blooodpoints out of me.

In the end-screen, they had no gen rush perks and only 1 yellow toolbox with some addons. I don't know which platform they were on (the game doesn't specify), but they were'nt on Xbox.

I also face cheaters and I play on steam. Just because you play on console you are not entitled to get a console only crossplay so you get less cheaters. Either BHVR does something against them or all players have to deal with them. No special care for anyone.

Btw: cheaters can also unlock crossplay and be matched with you anyway. They just trick the system.

I've disabled crossplay before, a couple months back. I gave up waiting in queue after an hour for survivor. Gave up after 40 minutes in queue for killer. Turned crossplay back on and haven't turned it off since. 😔

That happens because you are only matched with others who have it off.

Lol, show me the pro of ANY killer on console. Its not fair that there is an artificial divide by hardware, unless they want to let everyone use a keyboard and mouse. There are huntresses on pc that hit across the map. There are legions who hit and flick to dodge, impossible on console. Legion is easy, but its bs the top skill cap is hardware and they aren't doing anything about it

The Huntress cross maps or orbitals are also possible on console.

It is basically: look out for when the Gen aura changes, go a bit further, then look straight up and do an uncharged throw. Done.

This has nothing to do with a controller.

You also just complain about something so you can complain.

The only disadvantage I see is that some buttons are bound to multiple actions like heal/Pallet drop.

Then don't give me the constant feedback, that I got the hit. The sever deemed, that I shouldn't get the hit. I get it and that is somewhat fine (although this also has implications on this game's balance, if that many hits are laggy). But the part that really threw me and others off was the conflicting feedback. A survivor that goes down / is injured on the HUD, blood splattered across the camera and the audio clue to let you know, you hit the survivor only for it all to disappear a fraction of a second later. There have even been instances where you would get a stack of STBFL but the hit was validated anyway.

Do you have any idea how frustrating that is? It's no wonder there weren't many people playing killer at the time and it's a good thing that is no longer the case. Also, I live in western Europe. Not too far from the server, actually. And I have a very stable connection. So, that wasn't the issue but rather that the smallest of latencies makes a huge difference in this game. Do you want me to move to Frankfurt or London to avoid these issues? Sorry but that's a bit much for a video game.

If there was a way to implement hit validation without the conflicting feedback, then I wouldn't be against it. But that is not going to happen. Because (from what I understand) this isn't possible. The server would need to communicate with the killer's game before they actually get the feedback. We aren't talking about 50 ms here. Not even 30 ms (which is already very solid). But pretty much instantaneous. They could have servers every 1000 km or so and it still wouldn't be enough.

Where do we draw the line? At 15 ms? Well, have fun playing with 5 other people then. Because that is way less than can be expected from anyone. Everything up to 100 ms is considered a fine ping in different games. In DBD that makes a huge difference and looks awful but stocking up on servers and gate keeping the game from everyone who bought it and has a connection that is not at 15 ms or lower would definitely kill the game. 5 people can't buy enough skins to finance the game.

I remember that. It wasn't easy, but it was something. You still have it sometimes when you DH that the survivor screams but is still standing. But tbh I think it's kinda funny when survivors drive their invisible car when I play Wesker.

I wish there was a solution to those stupid hits, but I think there is none. No real one at least. Seeing the Killer's ping during the match when pressing ESC would be something at least. Then I can react accordingly. If I only see the "red bar" the killer can have everything above 150ms (I think) but you don't know exactly, which impacts the way you need to play.

In this post I made half a year ago, I showed a clip of a Bubba who had nothing but advantages with his high ping.

    @LapisInfernalis said:

I only know that Hit Validation exists in some cases, but I remember pallets being one of them. When the feature was added, it was said, that the server would reject unrealistic hits. But what happened here then? This is a situation which happened to me recently against this Bubba. The icon shows the killer has over 200 ( or even 250ms ping; can't remember the numbers). I checked my connection and I was at 40ms. I predropped the pallet and he still hit me. You can literally see the latency when he kicks the pallet and picks me up. This should not happen!

    https://youtu.be/hs_-utzPx1U

    This has to stop.

  • @Xernoton said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3589223#Comment_3589223

We had seen what happened thanks to hit validation. I don't want to sound too "doom and gloom" but to say that this had the potential to kill the game wouldn't be far from the truth. Survivor queue times at the time took forever and killer queue times were about 5 seconds at the very max. You just can't give the killer the feedback that they get the hit and then take it away from them. Sometimes multiple times per chase.

If that ever came back in this form I'd stop playing. Because this feels like a huge "######### you" from the devs even if it isn't. If you think it's bad to be hit from a distance once or twice per match, then imagine that 4 times as often. With some survivors even starting to pallet camp because 1) they can't be hit and 2) it's funny when the killer suffers. This cannot happen again.

Additional servers in specific regions though, sounds like a good idea. Only, you can't punish the players for BHVR not having them yet and maybe never.

It wasn't ideal but it showed the main issue: that there are not enough servers for the players to ensure fair matches.

If you have bad ping in a multiplayer fps, you don't hit. Simple.

It is a problem that killers have an advantage if they have bad ping. And because of that VPNs are an issue as well. The game needs more servers and a protection against VPN killers or a way to ensure that hits are fair.

After a person who plays in canada comes and says: "No, you are just bad, the ping is not a problem"

    Wow....

Sometimes (if EU central servers are full) I get sorted to the EU west server in London or even US east. These matches are always "fun". I have to predrop everything and still get hit though the pallet, windows result in hits no matter what etc...

And don't tell me about weird Huntress hits...

  • The Matchmaking struggles hard with backfills of any kind as it favour's quick lobby times than fair matches. I know that because I get dodged often when I play with my P100 Jeff (and the 6.7k hrs also don't help lol) and the result is either a killer who struggles or an insane Blight with op addons or a good Nurse.

The MMR also only counts escapes/kills. It doesn't care about how much you did, you will still loose pints while ultra sneaky Claudette who gets out after letting you die gains points. Same goes for killer. You play fair and end the match with 8 hooks but no kills? You get minus points. You tunnel and play solely for kills: take my points. The only thing they added last year was that if you are in a swf, you also get points for getting your team out even if you die. That doesn't help a thing if you play solo.

Also matchmaking seems to like putting 2 good survivors together with 2 bad ones to go against a medium killer.

So yeah, MM is bad. It is even worse than old Ranks as most matches are really sweaty.

  • @Seraphor said:

Killer seeing survivors. Survivors switching to 4 flashlights in the last second. Seeing players Prestige. Judging if the survivors are a SWF.

Mandy has suggested that the only solution to these issues is to skip the pregame lobby entirely and that they may possibly consider testing it.

And frankly, viewing the killers ping is in the same ballpark as dislaying SWFs. It's a free ticket to lobby dodge, ensuring that killers without top tier Internet never get to play. And if they wanted to enforce a maximum ping they could just make it a requirement before you enter the queue in the first place.

    @Xernoton said:

I agree with @Seraphor here. Going against killers with bad connection doesn't feel great but encouraging lobby dodging (exactly what this would do) is probably not the smartest move. These players payed just as much money as everyone else (unless they are on Epic Games) to play the game and if they can't get a match because of this, then that's definitely a terrible thing. There is no warning: "Your ping must be lower than X ms or else you can't play because everyone will dodge you."

Also, how long are you willing to wait for a match? Depending on how many people would dodge this could easily take forever. And worse yet, MMR wouldn't work at all because it's completely ignored when it comes to backfilling. So the overall quality of matches would likely decrease as well. Which in turn causes the same symptoms as the issue it's trying to fix.

This would give the Devs the motivation to finally add an additional server in the middle east (or any other region with the same problem). Alternatively they could also reimplement Hit Validation. It used to exist, but the Devs shadow removed it over time.

  • Either they should add a ping indicator for the killer in the lobby or put them on that list you can see when hitting ESC during a match. The killer can see the survivors' ping, why can't they see their own and why can't survivors see the Killer's ping?

Or they should protect players from unfair hits like they promised to in the past. There was something that was called HIT VALIDATION at pallets and windows as well that would reject unfair hits. It shadow vanished over the years.

Apologies, I meant PC players get free online multiplayer while console players have to pay a monthly or yearly subscription. I agree online should be free for all platforms, as we already pay for the console ($500+) and our internet connection

    Apology accepted.

Sometimes we get carried away. Especially if the subject is consoles vs PC.

My PC was 2k € because I had to get a new one during a time when GPUs of the middle class were out due to the crypto boom. My old one lasted 6 years despite of having a compability problem (it was unknown when I put it together) which caused a part of the Mainboard to overheat. So I did not have much choice.

I guess that console might sill be cheaper even with the online fee. I don't know how often you get a new console. But for a PC, you usually want it to last at least 5 years with the components you buy.

  • I am not rude, I just told you the truth.

It is just a money grab by Sony and Co. as nobody should be forced to pay extra just to play online.

If you think that we PC players "get everything for free" and therefore you are entitled to get an f2p game you are wrong. Traditionally console is casual singleplayer or party games you play at home, so what did you expect?

  • @Foempticol said:

DBD should go F2P. I'm tired of having to pay monthly or yearly just to play this game on console while PC players get to play for free

I vaulted the window in the back, did not move an inch and SM picked me up exactly where I was.

Completely "fair" hit though the window with 40ms ping (EU central).

  • They have that in mind and they also want to, but it is not the Devs who decide if there can be cross-progression or not. That is completely in the hands of Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony.

Well, they said the same exact thing about stretch res and looks like they are still playing the game. That was a lie and was a complete load of crap. We can apply the same things to this ridiculous logic. I have astigmatism in my eyes, but that's not going to make me all the sudden cheat, I'm going to have to learn to get around that because I'm not going to hurt the experience for others. Like I said play against bots or even just use the tutorial, but as for the live service portion of the game where players deserve a fair experience maybe just don't play it.

Maybe YOU should play something else then if YOU can't deal with it that some people don't want to suffer just to play a game they love. If you want to further strain your eyes with your astigmatism, do it. It s your sight or life that is ruined by this, not mine.

A cheater is someone who does not follow the rules. Using filters or modification of brightness/saturation or contrast is NOT AGAINST THE RULES as of this date. So anyone who is playing the game using this is NOT A CHEATER!

Maybe instead of crying about it, you should ask the Devs to implement these adjustments to the game so that everyone can use it the same way.

And I tell you again (something you see to ignore): Your monitor or TV has options where you can do similar stuff to the filters from your GPU driver or reShade. Since there is no way to ban the use of monitors (almost all of them can do this btw, even the really old ones), they won't ban it.

    Deal with it.

Edit: monitor settings so you see I am not joking. My monitor is almost 10 years old.

The second I mess with the contrast or brightness it turned the images into a nuclear fallout looking mess, so nope there.

I sometimes think our PC cousins greatly exaggerate the average setup us consolers are using. The couch a dozen meters from an not new TV and using that TV's speaker to play is very much a real thing. Using an adapter to get the three color plugs to meet up with the HDMI cable is the most advanced tech in there, and that was a gift.

In my head I imagine some PCrs perched three inches away from one or two monitors with a mouse set to half a trillion dpi and filters showing scratch marks & red stains visible from Mars and listening with a headset costing more than a car payment.

The average player is prolly somewhere in the middle! 🤪😂🤣

1 Monitor, my mouse has average dpi and my keyboard is more bright than my filters will ever be.

I know the struggle with the colored cables though😅

  • But you can't have that now. It is how it is.

I'm more concerned about how the cosmetics' flavor text has become blander than cardboard ever since Tools of Torment came out. We all have different priorities.

"He liked the goofy cat on the sweater."

  • Eh... This completely removes diversity because you would only see Meg or whatever survivor has the most meta perks.

So no. I like Jeff, but being stuck with his perks and the general ones would kill the fun for me.

Same goes for killer. None of the good regression perks is a general perk (Surge won't be for long). Killers like Myers would basically be unplayable because they can't stall early game by themselves.

  • Well, then you need to choose: do you want a quick game or do you want a (in your eyes) "fair" match? You can't get both.

  • PC Players were fine before crossplay was a thing. If you really feel that you are at a disadvantage, then disable crossplay.

I feel like a lot of people use them for accessibility but are often just put in a negative light since there are people who used them for an advantage.

People who need stuff like filters to see stuff (i.e. colorblindness or visual impairments which cannot be catered to with BHVR's settings) should not be held back by people taking things too far.

Also I know people love to bring up "people on Console are at a disadvantage" but Consoles/TVs have visual settings to help people see better as well; most of the settings through Nvidia are stuff that can be changed on your Console/TV display settings... I should know this, Im a former Console player.

Yeah. Exactly. Even old TVs have such options like I mentioned here:

    @LapisInfernalis said:

Or they could use their TV's inbuilt settings to up brightness, change contrast, color temperature or even apply any filter. Those options already existed for TVs from the 90s, pre LCD. It's not like they are completely helpless or something.

Sometimes I wonder if some players just complain so they have something they can complain about.

Then don't play the game, we need anyone in DBD who plays with an advantage over others who want to play the game fair.

You don't get it, don't you?

Or are you trolling right now.

not cheating. you're the one who is speaking through feelings. I personally don't use them and do not care that others do. EAC has whitelisted them, therefore the anti cheat has decided they're not cheating. it is that simple. You can turn cross play off if you really feel like you're at a disadvantage.

Me and my Xbox and my old ass TV didn't understand most of whatever you just said! 🤪😂🤣

Even old TVs can do this. And when I say old, I mean old.

I'm sure you can make it so it only applies to specific programs and not everything but yeah...

I don't know about Reshade as I don't use it. But AMD's Adrenaline does afaik.

Not true whatsoever, if you have an advantage over the other player it is cheating. It's actual common sense. If it allows it then they have work to do because they'll be bleeding players for survivor and killer. But remember stretch res was allowed until it was removed, this will be next.

Stretched Res was an actual modification to the game files. If you are using "filters" by your GPU driver you don't (Reshade does get into the files though). It just detects that you stated the game and changes color temperature, contrast etc to the values you chose as long as you are in the game or as long as you want them (there is a macro to turn it off).

From the last comment I read of you here, you seem to be pretty emotional. Did you encounter a streamer who had their game ultra bright or something? You are aware that I can just change the gamma (brightness value) at my monitor right? Or that I can use filters that come with my monitor? Even (old) TVs have these. It's not like console players are helpless or anything.

You just think that people with vision difficulties have it "easier" with filters because what YOU see is DIFFERENT to what WE see. If I play on Autoheaven, and a remotely dark (=non neon/flashy) character stands beside one of the jungle gym walls or even just rocks with trash I can't see them without concentrating really hard. I asked multiple people if they are able to see them without much effort and they said yes. So this has to do with my vision. I am at a DISADVANTAGE on that realm. Because I see worse than other players.

I tried all in-game options. They just make it worse because I am not color-blind. They make all green shades darker or don't change them making the map even darker for me.

So I use slight modifications to see about the same as people without problems, which to you looks like cheating.

Again: I think what comp players do (desatursting everything but red) can be considered cheating as this is just making things a LOT easier than it should be. But I don't think that slight alterations are like that.

And now, if you can't accept our arguments and that we have other opinions than yourself, I will not talk to you any longer as any discussion with you would be a waste of time.

  • @JPLongstreet said:

Unenforceable. Most of the filters and such that our PC cousins can use do not mess around with the game files. So their anti-cheat couldn't check for them anyway.

Do I personally think such gimmicks are actual cheating? As a DBD consoler I want to, but the others are correct about most modern games having wayyyyyyy more options built in. So that's on the devs, not on PCrs. And that's without getting I to any accessibility concerns.

Most of these filters are either done via a GPU driver or via the monitor itself.

Anf both do not change files, they change how the desktop looks in it's entirety as long as you play.

So if you make it more bright during playing and you tab out to open the browser everything will be brighter too.

no people can play any game they chose and no one should be forced onto single player games because of a disability.

being able to put on the same level as other players who are not disabled is not gaining an advantage.

    Well spoken.

I personally think that if this is an accessibility issue just stick to single player games, the game is designed a specific way to protect its players and provide skilled play through having to actually pay attention to what is going on in the trial plain and simple. If you are gaining an advantage over the other in any way since anything little in DBD can boost you tremendously, you are hurting the experience.

I am not gaining any advantage. I am literally at a disadvantage on Autoheaven if I do not slightly change the contrast/brightness. I am not ruining the experience of anyone when I do this. I am not making everything more saturated or a lot brighter so I get blinded on Eyrie of Crows or Ormond. I do not brighten red hues to see scratches better.

I just do a very small alteration on 1 realm so that I am able to play the game normally and not guess it there is something coming towards me.

I will not just "stick to single player games" just because you think you can tell me what I am allowed to do and what not. I know very well how filters are seen by a lot of people. Which is exactly the reason why I keep it as minimal as possible, as I do not want an unfair advantage. I just don't want to have a disadvantage.

Is it possible to add a recycle system? I have so many items in my inventory, most of them I almost never use, if the game can recycle them, say with half bloodpoints, that would be nice. For example, I spent 3000 bloodpoints to unlock an item, but I don't want it, I recycle it, I got 1500 bloodpoints.

With the new prestige, more bloodpoints would be welcome, so a recycle system would be nice.

I have multiple event offerings wich are unusable nowadays. I would like to exchange these (except one for the collection) for bloodpoints again.

Like the 300+ Arcane Dowsing Rods I have on Wesker.

  • Just return to ranks but leave current rank reset. Players who play a lot and win a lot will play against each other.

Also we would also have some not so sweaty matches in-between unlike now. It would be more fun.

Is it stated that Felix is from Franconia? I kinda assumed he was from Frankfurt/somewhere around there.

He is from Coburg, which is a city in northern Bavaria. But the region is called Franconia. It would be similar to call Scots the English.

Frankfurt is at the other side of the country in a completely different federal state.

Lowkey devastated by the latest cosmetic for Élodie... First of all, that is NOT a bonnet. That is a HEAD WRAP. Secondly, where is the silk?? If it was a bonnet, her hair should be tucked inside. Please I beg of you, either modify the description to be accurate, or update the headpiece itself. It's almost as bad as her Gold & Silk headpiece with the poorly done braids and no baby hair which essentially makes it unusable.

It feels like she is continuously being neglected and I don't know why. Also, what could you combine those shorts with? They're very questionable and I don't know why they couldn't have at least been cute shorts on their own like Mikaela's Cozy Break shorts.

It's becoming increasingly difficult to offer support or defend Dead by Daylight when the lack of cultural understanding/research is so apparent. Please, hear me. I have only good intentions and want to see change for the better as well as people actually being able represent themselves and feel good about it.

It is sad to see that this happens to other characters as well.

The only one I know of is Felix and his Oktoberfest Outfit. As a German, everytime I look at it see all the mistakes they made, the most obvious being the stockings which are way too short. If you really want do it right, ask someone from Bavaria to give advice. Since I am not from that part of Germany I cannot give you the help you would need.

The other cosmetics from Kate and Meg are OK, because I see them as "tourists" and they often do weird stuff. But I expect the Survivor from Bavaria, Germany, to use the correct clothes (even if he's actually from Franconia but that would be too much to ask😅).
