That's not me, my friend. I have that rare ability to make my own decisions and opinions on things. I do know many know-it-alls frequent here, but I try not to be that way. I hope they do get all these problems fixed, and matchmaking would fix many of the other problems, I believe. Sorry I came at you harshly again, but as you said, this forum can bring out alot of jerks, so being a jerk back is sometimes just a reflex. Good luck in the Fog!!

well im not lucky enough to have english as my native language + i easly spent over thousand hours learning it but my head prefers math over that and i cant do damn thing about it (i pretty much have everything in english on my pc and same goes with streams that im watching) and its still better than not doing anything
well so if you have such amazing chef, keep on "getting lucky and that other thing"
I do appreciate it. Sorry to come at you, but I wasn't trying to be salty, I just have a dirty mouth. I too love math, my friend, and I understand where you are coming from. For the record, you communicate in English quite well.

Rather an original survivor.
I can dig that. I am a bit burned out with the licensed characters. Just made me think of how badass she is when you mentioned an older African American woman.

And I did notice that while you are an Economic master, you should have taken a few more English courses.
Now some Dev delete this post for being too toxic.

well "i dont trashtalk" when you rly did but maybe for you trash talk needs to have bad words in it xd (it doesnt, you can trashtalk with most politely way possible) and as i told i can give them a lot of crap about their way of balancing, bugs and being slow at doing stuff but you unless you show me you finished economic studies (i did btw) or you have at least some experience in finance your opinion about that isnt valid for me, (because its just X opinion from someone that is salty and most likely dont know how things works xd)
So glad you got an edjamacation. Congratulations. I did pretty well in Economics, but didn't want to major it or anything. Just a Chef who knows how to open brand new businesses and then keep them afloat. Has nothing to do with money, problem solving, or preparing for the growth that comes with success. Just mostly Luck and sucking dick. Pardon my salty tongue, ole bastion of honor.

It's really sad to hear what he is going through. I wish him all the best as he was an amazing streamer and such a positive guy. He is missed by his community and is doing the right thing as this is obviously what he needs go get through it.
There are no words which can describe the pain of watching a loved one fighting that disease.
Its incredibly sad. My father had prostate cancer and then Esophageal cancer almost back to back about 10 years ago. He was very lucky to survive both, but it was horrible to see how it changed and weakened him. He still isn't quite the same. My heart goes out to anyone affected by the disease.

If only you could actually tell if it was SWFs after the match had been played. But I digress, people quit asking for that like a year ago after being ignored.

its their 1st game xd imagine ppl not knowing how to improve growth of their 1st game LuL
what you wrote can be summed up like youre salty because their game grown so much xd (you used bad words if thats not your intention)
as much as i would love to give them crap about balancing, breaking stuff but i cant give them crap about not knowing about their problems but (maybe its weird for you) solution isnt that easy to find, and about "sitting on money" its not like they made so you can buy their killers with shards not $$, if they would care about only money they wouldnt do that if you dont want to give them money dont buy skins, dlc's xd
imagine trash talking ppl because made sth that was success
I dunno man. Doritos Crash Course was pretty hot. And I didn't trash talk, I observed and stated their real problem. But it's all good, people will defend the shady business practices from their favorite game's mama company all they want. Fact is, they honestly don't care that much about their player base and fixing balancing issues because people keep throwing money at it. Why fix it even if it is broke? You can still sell ######### drugs on the street to all the junkies.

well but what to expect from community where majority of ppl never worked
I never worked anywhere I got 2 weeks off for Christmas. But whatever. The real issue isn't them taking off, it's the fact that they have a game who's popularity quickly outgrew the company's size, so many issues have come up, but that doesn't matter to them as much, because the profit has also massively outgrown the company's size and continues to,and when you sleep on piles of money, you don't feel like you have any problems.

I would like to find a well played female streamer. Nothing against the guys, but...you know...girls are cuter.

As for youtubers, Otzdarva is wholesome, TruTalent is kind of hated by the survivor side of the community (Hes the one that popularized the no stalk ghostface build) and i think of him as kind of an ######### but he hasn't actually done anything to warrant that lol, OhTofu is up there a well. All great players, none of them toxic
Monto and Noob3 both have series literally containing the word toxic but aren't really all that toxic. I seen some older noob3 videos before he played killer and he was but not so much these days (A common complaint is that his toxic series isn't toxic) Monto just a cool funny ass dude. Both really good, but more on the funny side than anything else.
Paulie Esther is as wholesome as you can get, hes an older guy taking care of his sick son and uses the game a way to connect with people. Literally no negativity whatsoever. His videos are mostly news tho but he streams like every night i think. He just uploaded a video about the devs putting in an easter egg referring to him and it made me feel warm as a #########. Hes also friends with Monto so that should tell you how toxic Monto could possibly be
Thanks for the list. I do follow Tru3 and Paul E on YT. I don't mind Tru3, he does have a different approach, but it's like going to DbD class half the time, and you don't always like your teachers in school even when they are teaching good stuff. I haven't ever watched Monto, maybe I will give him a shot.

I use the Trapper, find the basement, three gen them around it with all your traps. I finally got it once I got the Blood Lodge with the basement in it. I booby trapped the whole house and got lucky that I was playing an altruistic bunch of peeps. And got lucky that noone DC'ed once they knew it was a Basement Party.

Honestly I think many others including myself would find that lasting 3 minutes is way too easy, I think we might want to go for something a bit more challenging
I can dig that. This was just a base idea. There could be some kind of new objective tied into it to.

If you have it go with BBQ, seeing where someone is can be great for spirit because then you can phase and head right there.
Also bonus BPs if you’re getting 29k base that turns into 97k with double event and bbq
Hell yeah. Not sure I have it ranked up with her, but I have atleast BBQ1
-
If it's a Money thing because they can't pay enough coders to find the bugs, they should put out another epic cosmetic pack like the Charity Case pack. Nothing wrong with that charity being money that will be promised to be used on their bug issue by highering more peeps or paying their coders overtime. People who really love this game, which is a ton, would most likely drop 5 or 10 bucks for a nice big influx of cosmetics.
-
Been racking it up with Spirit, Averaging about 29K a match, and just had a nice 32k. I dont even play her much, but babygirl wants them BPs!! Been using Ruin(cause I'm an ass), Sloppy, NURSE'S, and switching up the 4th.

I do hope he is doing alright, I know he has said he is dealing with some mental issues, so I hope that he is doing that and that is why he hasn't posted any videos or streams lately. But the man is a class act, very non-toxic player, and overall a joy to watch and listen to. He has me in stitches cracking up during most of his YT videos. Any recommendations on another YTer or Streamer who is mostly fun but still knowledgeable in the game??
I hadn't seen that. That is heartbreaking. He seems like he has had it super rough the last few months.

Noob3 is just an old meme at this point ngl. Ayrun and Ussylis are the ones actually keeping up with the meta.
True that. Noob doesn't post much anymore. I have never watched those other 2. Any good?
-
That's why I want a Mummy who uses his bandages as a grappling hook. You should still be able to crouch and have it miss you,and depending on how long your catch was, another survivor could maybe run through it and break it? But the killer could have a standard M1 attack and then if he gets the catch on a healthy survivor and pulls them all the way, it could be an instadown.
-
Go Watch some Noob3 videos. You will quickly learn what toxic is.
-
The key is to balance out your playing time. Get used to one side and then try out the other side. Playing both sides really opens up a better understanding to the game. As Killer you get an idea of what the survivors like to do, and as Survivor you get to see the ups and downs for the killers.

Oh nice, I didn't know about the cosmetics. I only play as three 3 survivors so far.
I'd rather them not bring Alien. I'd like to see more classic horror stuff (Dracula, Wolfman, etc.)
I really want The Mummy and an Egyptian locale. I would love a map in the desert.
And yeah, Meg has an outfit from L4D, Jake does, and I wanna say Claudette has the last one.
-
I am currently a Green Killer after not playing killer for awhile. Most of my matches go both ways, I may have a red or a purple, but then also have a couple yellows. I guess the +/-6 levels is based on the killer, but that hardly matters. I am rank 9 and still get rank 2s half the time.
-
@The_Meh_Teh said:
@TheHoodiedOne Yeah I guess the Hag is somewhat similar. But she's not as scary at the witch... and dare I say.... bug like? Maybe they will bring over L4D survivors other than Bill.
They won't be bringing anyone else in for L4D, that's why they gave the cosmetics of 3 others to the survivors. So you could pretend. I don't know why everyone wants killers/survivors from other games. Just go play the other games. I'd much rather have an Alien with Ripley or Pinhead with Kirsty.
-
Moris are not equal to the Hatch. You can dominate a game, and if you dont slug the 3rd survivor, the 4k is pretty much a RNG nightmare that the last survivor usually finds the hatch with. Now, if you wanna talk about balancing Moris with Keys, I might go for that. I still think Keys are more powerful than Moris anyway. And Keys show up more in blood webs than Ebony Moris do, and that's really the only Mori people have a problem with.
I think the Hatch needs to be replaced with a different sort of end game for a final survivor. Maybe they have to last 2 or 3 minutes and then the gates open by themselves? Idk. Something that would end with a final chase would be nice, and not a chase that leads to a random hole in the ground.
-
Nurse is by far the worst, imo. But Huntress is actually the second hardest for me. In all honesty, I haven't given Nurse more than 6 chances, and I know she is dependent on really learning and studying in order to hone her craft. But...I have played Huntress a ton and really have trouble with her. Not sure it is a console thing because I am not too bad with the hatchets, but she is just such a slow mofo.

Basically, David is the BP KING.

Always nice if you have we're gunna live forever for the extra points on saves. Small Game can help give you points with totems and traps. Anything to give you quick heals or find hurt friends is nice for your Altruism, aka We'll Make It and Empathy. Then bring a nice Toolbox to rock out those gens!!
-
Meg is that Fire.
-
Every Bloodhunt, I exclusively play killer, because it's even more points for being able to play well. I rarely run into sweaty SWFs, have been playing almost 2 years, and rank around 3-8 most times as Killer. I usually have the opposite match with SWFs during the bloodhunt. They are all being goofballs just trying to farm as many points as they can. And screw it, Let's Farm during a Bloodhunt. The grind is bad enough in this game, might as well have a party sometimes.
-
The only thing I would add to Pig is the ability to grab people off Gens while crouched. Not sure how that can happen while keeping her unable to attack while crouched, but she loses that particular stealth ability. And I know, Wraith can't grab while cloaked, but he can quietly uncloak with the add-on and still get that grab, Pig always has her tell-tale weapon noise when she stands.

I had really been hoping that the Tome would bring something new and interesting to the game, but the challenges often aren't fun and the Rift requires extra grind on top of that which all just leads to huge burnout. Add the lack of current and future events and this becomes one of the least rewarding games I've ever played.
I finished the Rift a while back. I just returned home from traveling and played DbD for the first time in about three weeks, did the row of killer challenges in Tome Level 4 to unlock the charm, and as soon as I did that I turned the game off because I'd much rather play something with a winter event going on. Red Dead Online has some cool snow right now. Dying Light has viral zombies in elf clothes running around.
If DbD would bother to offer something different and fun rather than just new ways to increase the grind, maybe I would've actually missed playing it while I was away for three weeks. As is, I didn't miss it while I was away, and even a three week break didn't suddenly make the game fun again when I turned it on today.
Here here, my friend. They keep saying they are not focusing on events and instead working on better gameplay, QoL BS, etc, but I am not feeling that. I've always felt that this game blew up too fast for a company of their size, thus they are having trouble coping with the number of players and how to balance that all out, and then they hit a crazy niche cashpot with their horror theme and the sheer amount of cosmetics they pump out. People keep paying. Everytime they suck in one new player they milk them for a nice snag of cash, and fixing gameplay problems doesn't mean a thing anymore.
When people keep smoking the crack your selling faster then you can reup, you don't care, you just deal more.
-
I've been wanting a Mummy for a long time. I would love a desert/pyramid environment. I think that would be great. Give the Mummy an ability where he can whip out his bandages, catch a survivor, then pull them in for an instant down. Something like that. A night time desert map? Yes, please!

Devotion 6 Lvl 56, PS4
I have been playing for almost 2 years? Whenever it was free on PS+ Wanna say August of 18??
-
I am pretty burnt out. I finished the Rift in Tome 3 and really didn't have much drive to do much in Tome 4. Do we even get a cool 15 second video for beating it? Whatever. I got myself something else to play until the end of January, when I suppose the next Archive will come out.

All of these examples are damn great. Especially the sound issues!! I would also like the Devotion level to mean something, because it definitely does not. I am almost Devot 7, and it does absolutely nothing.

No, it's not "really easy", don't be a d**c. I haven't see trapper getting 6 traps in a while on red ranks. 1-5 most common.
Sorry for you. You must be facing people who dont play against him much. I can get Six people in traps without even trying. But...I am a Trapper God.
-
Trapping 6 people in traps is really easy. Use common sense with trap placement, don't trap in the most obvious places, and use one of the add ons that darken traps. #########. Are people really that bad as Trapper??
-
I always play solo. I am just about always in the red ranks. You have to have a completely different mindset when you do it. You are truly on your own and must do your best to claim as many points from the 4 different emblems as you can. Half the time you play solo in the red ranks, maybe even more like 75% of the time, you are the third wheel to a 3 man SWFs group, so they are usually just interested in themselves.
Biggest upside though, it makes you a much better survivor to play solo for a good while. You have to take care of yourself and learn how to truly survive instead of having 2 or 3 buddies talking to you the whole time and helping out. Not that that is a bad way to play! It makes it tough as hell on the Killer, but SWF is probably keeping this game alive.

I agree it is more fun overall. However, the times where killers get antagonized by toxic SWF groups are so malignant people just want to avoid it completely. Being bullied by SWF is quite literally the most miserable gaming experience I have ever had.
I agree. It is pretty awful and humiliating. Sadly, nothing will ever be done with SWF. I think that is how a large portion of people play the game. I only play solo survivor because that is how the game was intended to be played. Its scarier, more challenging, and alot more fun, imo. They wanted this game to be like the last bit of a horror movie when everybody starts getting wasted and the final person starts falling over bodies and stuff, but SWF kills that. The only movie I can remember the victims having comms was Aliens, and that wasn't a 4v1!!
