Wiggle is good stuff. Any time you can wiggle out, and it is mostly because your mates are helping out, you feel so great!! In my experience, if you do wiggle out a killer will usually go after someone else. It really hurts that killer's mojo!!
-
Actually, ruin should stay the same and all the other Hex Perks that noone uses anymore should get buffed. Devour Hope should only take 4 hooks to max out, Same with Lullaby. If these perks actually worked more often, they would slow the game down just as much. Lullaby is a rarity to get to work fully, extremely rare even, and Devour is rough once you get to Lvl 3 and all the survivors know you have it. Hell, the instantly know you have Lullaby, maybe quit letting survivors know you have a Hex before it even gets to begin to work. Ruin is fine. The other Hexes though, are mostly meme trash.
-
All done since about a week into the third tome. I did spend 500 cells early on to jump ahead and started on LVL 8 when they gave us that little.bonus at the start. Still had half of the challenges left in 3 to do once I popped 70. Still did them for some UWI points!!

Hilarious. I did pick up a few of those sweaters. Quite a few....

I don't care about the game being dark. All I want is a functioning and reliable sound system, like in the good old days. I might not be seeing that P3 Claudette being one with the bush, but I can hear her! Wait no, I can't hear her anymore!
Survivors footsteps are currently Mouse farts.

I love Ormonds, even as killer. It has a lot of potential with Trapper and Hag, it is pretty wide open for the Huntress, Oni,and Billy. And it isn't the biggest of the big maps. I find the maps in the Forest, Mother's and Puke Temple, much more difficult. It is also hard for most survivors to just hide at Ormond. They really pop on that snow.

What if I'm addicted ?
We all are. Its damn addictive and extremely fun. It's the epic moments that happen in this game that keep it going. Last minute escapes, last minute captures, scary moments when a killer walks right past you without noticing, awesome moments where you somehow down three survivors at once. We are all chasing those highs!!
-
I wanna hide up there. In one locker. The killer will never ever know. :)

You are not alone with this, and its not a platform specific thing.
Survivors sounds, and footsteps in particular (because they are the most subtle), always get broken into oblivion with every major engine update (which we got just recently), since the launch of Dead by Daylight. Generally this takes several weeks, sometimes even months for the developers to fix.
Though it never gets fixed to its original state, but just slightly worse than before, causing the sound quality to slowly deteriorate in since 2016, and continues to do so.
That seriously sucks. It has made it much harder to play Killer, imo. I like to consider myself a killer main, but it has been so much harder to play as Killer since the latest patch. My headphones seem broken! Such a huge difference in sound lately.
-
DS is the #########. If you are wise you save it for after you are saved Twice, by then the game has rolled along and the Killer is getting desperate. It can save your ass everytime you use it, especially if your team is helping out with distractions, why wouldn't you use it?? DS is a Beast.
Even if you don't have it, the Killer might think you have it, so they leave you alone. Great perk.

Why don´t you like the name?
Maybe because it is to specific. If it is called Witches Claw then there must be a Witch.
-
Complaining that you aren't good with a killer after playing less than 10 matches with him is what is actually Sh*t.
-
No one ever says...Oh boy! I get to play against The Plague!!
Hag is the worst for me personally though. I hate duck walking to hooks!!
-
Scary perk idea. I like everything but the name. Lol.
-
A single tear for all of you. Cry me a river. Go play Civilization.
-
I know for a fact I wouldn't Prestige anybody. I never use those bloody cosmetics anyway. If there was another incentive besides that, I might. Maybe Prestige 3 gets a 5th perk slot? That would make it more attractive.

Honestly, “killer main” and “survivor main” are commonly used as insults, even though being either just means you prefer a certain role.
No doubt. It sucks being labeled, but not so much by the DbD community. It is just littered with salty mofos!!
Also....
Play both sides!!

I swear people exaggerate about the state of dbd on console. Not sure if I'm lucky or my console was crafted by the gods, but I never experience these bugs nearly as often.
Me too! The worst I get is a little bit of lag and a random freeze if the killer quits while the match is loading up, but that's pretty rare.
-
Just man up and kill those bastards. I can't be sure how many of them I have faced, but there are some pretty obvious moments in game when you are facing the SWFs, it makes me that much happier to kill them. Yes...they can be rough, but it is so satisfying when you take them down. The reward is that burst of pride you get.
Maybe, less tears when you lose, because we all lose, even SWFs!
-
You need motorcycle Kate! I love that outfit. I usually run it with her dark hair though, then you can look like the mom from Sons of Anarchy in her 20s. ;)
-
The simple solution is to keep the Tome moderately easy in order to keep the majority of ppl happy with it, then ramped up the Daily Challenges so that they are more difficult. Or add Weekly Challenges if you are into the grind for 40 gen kicks type of thing.
-
Maybe we'll finally get a secondary game mode? I am not sure what they could do,I know the 2 killers/8 survivors idea is a fan favorite. Maybe even a chase mode for all the people out there who just want to run from the killer all game.
-
100% bullshit. All I got to say.
-
DS has already been nerfed to what it is. I remember when those sneaky buggers could pop you with DS any time after they had been hooked once! If you think it's a tough one now, you should have seen it then! Plus, if noone brings it, nobody is your obsession, and you know you can tunnel for days!! If that's what you wanna do.
-
I think Clown would be lower on this list. He may have once been Predator smart, but now he's just hungry for knuckles.
-
So you only have to be on the gen when it is finished?? That seems much easier than have to do them completely. Still tough, but doable.
-
Alrighty. Thanks for the info.
-
With that said, will the old Tome quit giving you Rift Fragments once the new Tome begins? I know they have said the Tomes will always be available.

Tier 37, but I did get 8 levels free when the archives opened and cheated for a 500 cells worth of insta-leveling

hatch grabs should only be brought back for a person who used a key
I like that idea. Or if a random key is found. It would add some real late grab moments that would be awesome.
-
@supersonic853 said:
It was also to end hatch stand offs as well though along with shutting the hatch. In the previous system the survivor would stand on the hatch and the killer would wait until they do the jump in animation. you wait there for about 10 minutes until someone finally made a move it took way to long.
I remember those moments and totally agree that they were awful, but that was a good while ago. I think the return of the hatch grab would be different. The way survivors play now, most would hear the heartbeat and get out of there and hit a door, especially if they new the killer was camping. Stealth killers could still do it, but the grab moment wouldn't last as long as the survivor would most likely just go straight for the hatch if they didn't hear a heartbeat.
When it works, it really works, no matter of the grab is successful or not. It's either a "Got You" moment or a "Good One" moment from the killer side. As it is now, survivors can stand there and Tbag forever with a killer unable to do a thing.
-

Only 2 keys open the hatch and the hatch needs to be found for said reason. I personally like how it works now its a who finds it first wins id rather not barely beat the killer there and when im about to jump in they grab me they didnt find it first so its my win thats how the hatch works right now.
But there is such an awesome moment when you are running for the hatch and the killer is right up your A$$, you find the hatch And jump in, he has a moment to get you....whether he misses you or snags you, you personally are pumped for the moment and having a great time!
Yes, sometimes they will get you and sometimes you will get away, but it used to be such a split second moment that it really got you pumped!
I just hate not having the chance anymore.

Ya, on the 13th, like the DbD NEWS has said since the Archive began.
-
Much like alot of you, some people are just ugly. Get over it.

You'll get a lot more as the next levels of the Tome unlock and you get new challenges to complete. The Serum stays in the Rift after the event ends, you don't need to rush.
That is good to know. It is taking a bit to climb these rift levels. I do look forward to the 13th.
-
Have my load out ready. If they have a key I switch something for Franklin's. That's about it. ######### your key.
-
It takes 8000 experience points to get one complete level. You average about 500 a game. You do get the 300 free for first killer match of the day and another 300 for first survivor. Seems bloody impossible. Before the rift came out DbD said you could complete the whole thing playing about 2 hours a day. I don't think so.
The event ends on the 13th.
-
I suppose the real question is, do you guys feel like you will get to level 46-47 before the event runs out? Is the serum still going to be available after the event? As far as I understood it, it won't be.
-
I meant two full cosmetics or 6 pieces all together. Doesn't all have to be the same character.
-
There are no rules at any rank. Sometimes you get a ######### killer who wants to be a butthole. Often times, when I am playing Ghostface, unhooked survivors just run into me while I am "invisible". If they do that, they get downed again. I may or may not pick them up again depending on how the match is going, but it isn't my fault. Survivors need to quite expecting killers to be "nice". This game is about survival, not compassion.
-
Atleast the 3 year Anniversary Gens farted when you finished them. This game just may need to die. It's basically a free to play phone game at this point. I hate to say that because I do indeed like it, but it has gone to hell over the last 2 years.
And still loaded with BUGS.
-
There is no real event. The special pumpkin gens only give bonus blood points and not all that many to be honest. The serum is in the Rift, which is of course locked behind the broken archives now. Once again, Delayed by Buglights has struck.
-
C U Next Tuesday.
-
Any match that ends with everyone being cool about the outcome. GGs all around!!
-
I say....No.

Truth. You can't tell a killer GG, you have to cuss them out. It's a tough love thang!!
-
Are you a Spirit Main or maybe a Freddy? Those are the only killers I ever see my survivor mates kill themselves on the hook against. Maybe the Iridescent Huntress too. Some people just can't handle the challenge. It's kinda sad. You are never going to get better that way.
