The splash from Huntress hatchets when you do a cross-map snipe
-
I'm still a survivor main. But just before Pinheads release, I haven't really played survivor at all. It's not because of Pinhead, there are other reasons why I decided to take a break from the Survivor side.
- Once I reached the higher ranks, people stopped playing the "fun" killers. And one year of facing killers that aren't even fun to face is not really that interested nor is it, well, fun. The only killers I got at that point were Spirit's Deathslinger's and Blight's. Don't get me wrong, Blight can actually be pretty fun. But that is if they don't use Ruin, Undying and Tinkerer. There sure are more killers that I dislike. But out of all of them, Deathslinger was the one I had the biggest problem with. There was nothing in this game that could frustrate me more than a Deathslinger. It came to the point that I would just beg all Deathslingers to kill me as soon as I knew it was him.
- Grinding Bloodpoints as a survivor is horrible if you're not running WGLF, but I don't wanna use a perk just for the BP's. So I wasn't feeling that rewarded for playing that much. And I couldn't et extra BP from missions because I only get killer dailys and I've completed every survivor mission in the Archive.
- I had too many games where either my team were doing gens way too fast, I got a dreadful map or a painful killer. So it wasn't fun anymore. And I'm all about the fun in this game. I don't like gen rushing, I don't like tunnelling, I don't like BM'ing because it's boring.
And after a long time with barely any interesting games, I got a Deathslinger on Léry's (dreadful killer on a dreadful map IMO). And because I was playing with my friend, I didn't really want to DC or kill myself on the hook. So I tried my best to get through the map. And then it happened, the guy tunnelled me. And that was the moment I snapped. I was done with survivor. So I joined the dark side... And it was great! Now I could play all the fun killers. I can now chill, perform good, get a good amount of BP and meme at the same time. I get accepted when I meme around, and I accept when others meme around. The only downside now is that I have to deal with Dead Hard as Huntress, but that's fine :)
-
I tried Stretched res once because I wanted to understand why some people like using it and why people think it's cheating. And oh my god, everything suddenly became so easy. Because you could literally see everything the killer did over almost any loop. I felt so bad.
I played like 3 games with stretched res, but then I had to stop. Because I didn't like the way it looked and it was really boring lmao
-
I use BT and Autodidact with WGLF. It's always a guaranteed stack with BT(almost). And I use Autodidact simply because I enjoy using Autodidact lmao
-
Someone called me "Dog Water Killer" once :(
-
The only problem I have with it is the immunity frames, but that's because I play Huntress. So if I would have the power to change it. I would remove the immunity frames and maybe increase the DH distance.
-
As a killer. I respect the survivor more if they don't use Meta builds.
And as a survivor, I actually don't use a meta build. Sure, I use 2 Meta perks, and those are Sprint Burst and Iron Will. But I often switch Sprint Burst with other Non-Meta perks from time to time.
Do any of you consider Balanced Landing as a Meta perk? Because I don't xd

This is what the devs listen to. Someone who is all about FUN and not LIKING facing certain killers and being EXCITED about bad changes and not even caring about half of the other stuff that's gone wrong. What a shame for competative players like myself who have to deal with these changes.
Is it wrong that I play for fun and that I don't enjoy some of the killers, and then when the frustrating part about them is getting changed, I get excited because the game will be more fun?
-
The Deathslinger Nerf is my favourite change :^)
-
I don't really fully understand it myself. But I can try to explain how it works.
Okay so basically there is a new Matchmaking system called Skill based matchmaking (SBMM). It means that every player has hidden numbers called MMR, and MMR is apparently what determines your skill level. The better you perform during a match, the higher will your MMR get. And the MMR will get lower if you underperform I think.
And because MMR determines your skill, the game will pair you up with other people with an equal MMR as you. And that's why you get paired with the "wrong" ranks. And that's also why you are the lowest rank on both sides.
The ranks have no longer any impact on matchmaking. They just show how much you've played since the last rank reset, and everyone will be set at the lowest rank every rank reset. And you will get more Bloodpoints the higher rank you are when the rank reset occurs.
I hope this makes things more clear. If you still have any questions, I might be able to answer them :)
-
Yea I also want an Old Lady survivor. I mean we already have Bill, and I think it's about time for him to get someone to love lmao
-
Imagine using a Gen-Rushing build with the new "Built to Last" lmao

Medkits with good addons will be a pain to deal with for killers. I hope this doesn't force Franklin's into the meta.
The killer brings Franklin's:
Me: "Haha jokes on you, I got Self-Care" >:)

Wait. Is the second part of this Developer Update getting announced on Monday?
Anyways, I want to see buffs to these perks:
- Sole Survivor
- No Mither
- Boil Over
- Buckle Up
- Mettle of Man
- No One Left Behind
- Dying Lights
- All Huntress perks
- Fire Up
- Hangman's Trick
- Furtive Chase
- All Demo Perks
- Gearhead
- Trail of Torment
- Coup de Grâce
- Distressing
- Monstrous Shrine
-
Probably Clown. Because he's just a clown lmao
-
I saw that they were changing one of Blight's Add-Ons, and I really hope that it's Alchemist Ring xd
And the perk buffs... 👌
-
What is wrong with my eyes. It literally took me like 10 seconds to find the totem lmao
-
Archive Challenges. And I want to get every Survivor to P3-lvl50

She was 100%. On the forums at least.
I really wonder whos the next "nerf X killer" now
I bet it's gonna be Nurse lmao
-
That is actually a pretty good build. I use Thana, POP and BBQ on my Legion. But instead of Surge, I use Corrupt. I'm actually gonna try Surge on my Legion.
-
Yea maybe it looks really good. But don't forget the 100 new bugs and glitches that will come with this xd

Because they use the belt to separate the pieces. All other linked dresses extend beyond the waist, which causes those holes in the torso when people tried to mix and match them.
I guess that explains why her outfit is linked. But Felix new outfit has no reason to be linked xd
-
His new outfit just proves that linked sets don't make any sense. Like, why is his a linked set, but not Elodies???
-
What? Keys are not that bad. They can only give survivors an unearned escape and end the game early. They can remove mind games by giving the survivor wall-hacks anytime with a duration of 45 seconds, and all they have to do is to hold a button. They also allow you to run through the killer when the killer is valuing or breaking stuff.
I 100% agree with you. Keys are ridiculous lmao
-
Just remove the Aura revealing and you're good to go
-
Not as a survivor really. Either my teammates gen-rush as heck, or my whole existence seems to annoy the hell out of the killer I face. But as a killer, sure. I can finally have some chill games.
-
I don't like to call perks "too strong". But yea, I guess you can say that Dead Hard is too strong in certain situations. I just don't like the fact that Dead Hard can save you from mistakes YOU made, that you can Dead Hard over Trappers Traps, and that killers like Huntress sometimes get robbed by Dead Hard lmao
I honestly think Dead Hard would be more tolerable if you removed the immunity frames and maybe increase the distance. But I might be wrong because that would just make "Dead Hard" for distance even stronger. But I think this change would make range killers more enjoyable.
-
Enjoy :)
-
For killer:
- Alchemist Ring
- "All Seeing" - Blood
- Pinky finger.
For Survivors:
- BNP
-
I find them a lot easier to get now. I don't get DBD gods anymore. And If I do, the requirements for adept are not that high thanks to the Rank Reset.
Like, if you were red rank, you would have to hook 78 people and do 5 backflips on a football while eating soup with a fork. But as a rank 20, you just have to hook -2 people and pet your grandma's old hamster.
-
I just meme around. It's really fun and keeps me from getting frustrated. Unless it's a Deathslinger. As soon as I hear either his Terror Radius or him shooting, I lose my ######### lmao

Is the nemesis one supposed to be him breaking a pallet or you flipping your taple
I guess it's me flipping my desk xd
-
I play Survivor because I'm a survivor main. I find survivor more fun and less stressful. And I like to run around the map doing dumb #########.
I play killer because Huntress is really fun. And because half of the killer roster is between really boring and painful to go up against lmao.
-
What do I think about Wraith? He's hot as hell!
Okay but jokes aside. Wraith is pretty good, he is finally viable against the average players. He's not one of the weaker killers anymore which is a good thing. But, "All Seeing" - Blood should get some sort of rework, or maybe just a downside IMO. Because I don't like the fact that a decently strong killer can see everyone through walls if close enough. And Coxcombed Clapper is really annoying lmao
But even tho he is a good killer with an interesting power, he's not really fun to go against due to his playstyle. Or the playstyle the majority of Wraith players use when playing him. Because in my experience, people usually use the "Hit and run" playstyle. Which is annoying because then I have to heal for 87 years. And I don't like to be injured, and definitely not against a Wraith lmao
Don't get me wrong. Wraith is still pretty easy to loop. Because his power doesn't help him in chases. And he still has a lot of counters.
-
Hello!? Why am I the only one that never gets Huntress??? >:(
Anyways, here's my list(I think):
- Blight.
- Spirit.
- Deathslinger.
- Nemesis.
You know what, I'm actually going to write down every next 100 killers I face. Just to get a more accurate answer.
-
I don't agree. I like actually RPD lmao
-
I would actually make an SS tier and put Huntress and Blight there, and keep Nurse on S
-
Wait, they are perk-shaming you? It's not like they have 3 DH, 4 BT, 2 DS, 2 IW, Adrenalin and Prove Thyself or anything, no no no.
I had a similar match once when I was playing survivor. The 3 other survivors in my team were an SWF with tryhard meta perks, and they also had 3 BNP and they send us to Haddonfield. We faced a Ghost Face and they all ended up DC'ing for some reason. So there I was with my 0 stack Autodidact, having a staring contest with him. In the end, I traded him a Broken Key that I found in a chest for the hatch.
In the Endgame chat, they were all complaining to the killer about dumb things. And they got mad at me for not using OP perks. Like, hey! Let me use Autodidact in peace! xd
-
WHERE'S DA BOB?!
-
Two, Huntress and Kate
-
If Spirit would get nerfed, I wouldn't care. But if Nurse and Blight got nerfed, I would cry
-
When I play survivor, I guess it's fine? I get killers that are on an equal skill lvl most of the time. But I usually get really "questionable" teammates.
When I play killer, it's only working well on Huntress. But whenever I play any other killer, SBMM is not even close to being good lmao
-
I mean, Spirit and Blight were almost the only things I faced before the SBMM, and they are still the only killers I get lmao
-
I don't know if other players hate him. But I definitely do lmao
-
I might be wrong, but isn't Freddy some sort of immortal dream demon, and isn't Pinhead just some sort of alien? I haven't seen Hellraiser or Nightmare on Elm Street, so I don't really know anything about them xd
-
NoED. I actually use Self-Care in my main build
-
Here's my opinion

Same. If I had to choose one perk I can't live without it is woo. No need to check which pallets are broken, loops available etc. Just run towards the light xD.
Imagine if there was no cooldown. That would be sweet.
Omg, I'm not the only one calling it "Woo". Thank god xd
