Stuff like Slenderman and Five Nights at Freddy's are no different from this stuff! They are fictional horror creations that someone dreamed up and wrote stories about, and then they became popular. Yeah, they became popular in different mediums and at a different time than the movie slasher stuff, but so what? They're still horror, and they don't deserve to be dismissed just because they didn't start out in a movie. I wouldn't regard Five Nights at Freddy's any differently than I do Silent Hill, in terms of what's "appropriate" or not for DBD.
I just don't see FNAF in the game, woooo big deal...possesed animatronics coming towards you, they can't even kill properly

And BHVR decided to sell their produce on said hardware. It is therefore their responsibility to provide a product that is able to be played. I'm not entirely sure how laws work in regards to selling video games but for all other products sold on the UK (where I purchased my switch copy of dbd) products be "Fit for purpose" under the Consumer Rights Act (2015), which does also include digital goods.
Having a game not work as advertised despite not officially cancelling support violates this law. Bearing in mind this was advertised at a solid 30fps, which the op complains it isn't. Bhvr should be aware of their own technical limitations and either optimise the game for 30fps or don't advertise it as such.
I am aware of the limited hardware and still bought the game on switch knowing the graphics would be sub par. I guessed the fps wouldn't be stellar but so many factors impacting performance is rediculous- everything you do basically breaks your framerate except running around on about 3 maps.
Having inferior hardware doesn't means a particular platform shouldn't matter. People still bought the game, let them play it as promised.
The fact that 3 maps breaks the game and also Oni/Spirit makes game lag is awful, their hair is the problems tbh!

@Peanits Wouldn't be fair to run a pc killer against switch isn't it right? Switch is inferior and less taken care instead of pc, sad to see the teams doesn't care about switch tho

The amount of time I won without using Adrenaline/DS/Unbreakable/Dead Hard/Key, is just funny, I run BT for my teammates...except of that, it's perks for myself, so I guess NOED is just for players who sucks (my bad) at the game and wants easy wins

Bro, Pyramid Head was never human, he is the imagination of James Sunderlands Guilt and Desire, that's that, there is 1 human who turned into a Pyramid Head and it's Alex in (I believe) Homecoming but that's all, in the movies he is just a protector for Alessa and becomes an ally in Revelations to Heather/Cheryl again the cult of Valtiel if I remember!

I legit got it first or second try, it was easy, just get a 4-man group, wait until someone is downed then hide close to the killer...easy, now I'm working on the Kate Denson challenge, the one I have to escape whilst death hook, this is a more difficult challenge imo

You guys should make it a mechanic, upon reviewing many videos, Pyramid Head does have it's sharp side of the knife towards the survivor, it should be a mechanic and not a bug, this kind of thing is fine because the way the animation is made, seems like it should have it's one hit if hit correctly.

That's actually a fairly good theory on why it's Heather and not James. He became the monster he brought to life.
Wrong, don't mix games, James never became Pyramid Head, in any of the Silent Hill 2 endings

And you can see him manifest some pretty dark thoughts and emotions throughout the whole game. Something almost all killers in DBD manifest, before they turn into what they've become. Survivors who lose hope and faith, become killers. And I think James is quite literally manifested as Pyramid Head and brought into the world of DBD.
I know my Silent Hill lore but yeah, I prefer by far Heather than James

I'd see a ptb for switch, since it's really an inferior console and has lots of bugs and massive lag spikes against Oni/Spirit on Hawkin's/Ormond/Yamaoka's but yeah, could be nice one day

Bubba isn't OP for sure, I played him with BBQ and STBFL and he's terrifying to play against because you can simply get 8 stack of STBFL, chainsaw obsession and you don't a stack, so when obsession dead, you keep STBFL at max, which is fun but destructive at the same time 😂😂

No...lemme explain, I'm a switch player, I already went against pc players becahse of hacks (possibly) and it was a pain, I had to camp to at least get 1k
Sorry if we can see a bit of last names guy but you still get the point...another proof I was on switch, again sorry to see Jonathan's name and my old name...I just wanted to censure the crossplayers

Tbh, placing traps isn't camping, I mean if I need a trap and place it to a loop...call my camper but I'm still being smarter than the survivors cause they won't loop me😊 so no, you're not camping, staying close and being smarter is the correct answer!

Tbh, my switch propably is 2 years old, well going on it's second year but it still crashes my games, smash to pokemon to DBD, idk how to fix it, I ain't gonna remove parts nor send it back to Nintendo just to fix simple errors, I live with it but it's a pain to have the penalty for a default I didn't commit, I never dc'ed cause I'm fair play, you play campy or like a ######### (my bad), I'm just gonna suicide hook and get my minimum bps but it still sucks to see errors and penalty.

Listen everyone, I want the doctor as it was before Deathslinger came to the game (madness decreasing overtime) you can keep current mechanics but make it madness decreases that's all, Clown really needs a buff but I don't know where he could get buffed?

There are reports of switches randomly kicking people from games for various reasons and DBD itself is very resource hungry.
Makes me wonder if it closes what you are not using to free up resources for the current app you are in to work better.

It sounds like doing this just tells the game your connection has been cut and kicks you out. That could be an issue with how the switch works itself.
Probably but I do it after I died and still makes me dc, maybe a problem on both ends?

They keep buffing the wrong characters man, hitboxes are all broken, vault a window or run, I get hit 2 meters behind, like seriously, buff like Ghostface or idk and those hitboxes ffs they are pissing me off..

That does seem odd that lobby would act differently, as killers have no way of knowing if the party is SWF or not. I mean PC players sometimes can by checking steam profiles but that's it.

It certainly would, although I suspect a vulnerability like that is a lot more major than it may sound like. It may be the sort of thing that needs the cross play coding adjusted from a very base level. I have no idea.
While I certainly am not one of those who has absolute faith in BHVR, I do give them the benefit of the doubt that if it was a simple fix, they'd have fixed this one already. People having that sort of ability to manipulate the network seems like a pretty big deal.
I mean yes, since it's kinds annoying to see people, play on 60 fps and easier controls than us running at 30

First find where you saved the pictures and edit them to scribble out the names; if you can't do it where they're saved try sending them to a phone and do it from there; gallery apps usually have built-in editing tools.
Next go back to here and edit your post. Remove the original and upload the new. Done.
Back to the topic though, I've seen this happen to Ardetha, a pretty well known dbd streamer. It's actually terrifying this can happen.
