  • Clown should be next. Though I'd love for it to be Pig, she's my favorite killer. I just want her RNG fixed so that survivors don't get their RBT's off on their first try so often. Its great for stalling the game... when it works.

  • Malicious Emblems - Play Legion if you have him. If not, then make sure you use a killer who hits twice and doesn't use insta-downs. Make sure to hook everyone multiple times.

Unhook 4 in one game - Kindred + Borrowed Time + Empathy + A perk of your choice. Whenever the killer downs someone, start making your way toward them. Wait for the killer to leave, unhook, and repeat 3 more times. Sometimes this one can be difficult to get because the killer doesn't hook enough people. But you'll get it eventually. Empathy should help you know where people are when they're about to go down. You could use sprint burst to make sure you get to the unhook first.

Protection Hits - Bring a med-kit. Also bring empathy and kindred. Whenever the killer picks someone up, run straight for them, force the hit, and then get out of there. Not really that hard to get. I was fortunate to get 10 in like one game because of a Deathslinger that decided to farm with us. He was just having a lot of fun trying out the harpoon. You could also use inner strength if you have it, and use that to heal after taking a hit.

  • I feel like 7 hooks should be a win for a killer. That's enough for 2.33 kills, regardless if anyone dies or not. The entity should be pretty happy, because it means its properly fed. But I'm probably the only one who feels this way >_>

  • Survivors should be nicer to killers who don't tunnel. I try my best not to , but then I'm always disappointed when they get to the exit gates and teabag me and all I can think is "Why was I nice again?" Like I'm a pretty nice killer most of the time. I get 4k's fairly often, but I also sometimes let survivors go. I farm with them when someone disconnects or dies way too early and they seem to be struggling. I've even helped a few people complete archive challenges (I do this as survivor too. Had a Spirit drop me in front of her haunted grounds. I knew what it was, but cleansed it anyway because I knew it was an archive challenge. She seemed to appreciate it, and let me go after downing me again). Giving us a hit on the way out, and maybe not teabagging isn't asking for too much. We enjoy bonus points too!

  • That's a HUGE Nerf to We're Gonna live Forever. Survivors need a double bloodpoint perk like BBQ+Chili.

I would say that's debatable. On the one hand, it would absolutely be ideal if we could have the penalties without punishing innocent players. On the other hand, if we wait until the game is crash-free before implementing the penalties, we'll be waiting a very, very long time.

I don't think my game has crashed once in the middle of a match since the penalties were introduced. I'm not saying these things don't happen or shouldn't be improved upon by the developers, but I do think they're a lot rarer overall than the amount of people raving about them makes them seem, and I would also be inclined to believe that if someone's game is crashing enough in the span of a few days for the penalties to be noticeable, the problem might be more with the strength of their hardware than with the software itself. Dead By Daylight is not a well-optimised game, and lower-end systems do struggle to keep it running stably.

I've had three crashes in the last week. And it's not my hardware because I'm not playing on PC. I'm playing on Switch. One time I was an inch away from escaping. Actually not even that, because I was AT THE LINE, but it wouldn't let me go through. I don't think it's rare enough or the DCs are so bad that we need Six+ hour penalties for these things. They should be capped at an hour. I also think they could mitigate some of the issues with DCs by allowing survivors to stay in the game if the killer disconnects and leaving a husk behind if a survivor disconnects (For BBQ). Also it should create a new obsession for obsession perks. (Neither of which issues are really fixed by the DC Penalty)

I mean I can't speak to experience on PC. Maybe PC works a lot better. But at least on Switch there's some issues.

  • Happened to me as well. Survivor wouldn't be sacrificed in end game either.

The screen cap you posted show the killer also disconnected. Regardless of a player disconnect, if the killer disconnect its game over, and thus his build would be seen. No advantage to your friends as the match is over. I suspect what happened is that you glitched out of the match (hence your post) and the killer needed a rift challenge. Since killer had no way to complete the challenge they quit... just a suggestion based on what I see on your screen cap.

Nope, cause this happened to me recently.

I was in a match against a Leatherface. He hooked and killed all three other survivors, and he had hooked me once. When the last survivor was sacrificed, he closed the hatch. I rushed over and opened the exit gate. I got the gate open, ran to the back of the exit gate... and the game wouldn't let me leave. He didn't have blood warden. Even if he DID, there were no survivors he could've hooked to activate the perk. The killer ran up to me, downed me, and that's when the game quit on me. It counted it as a DC for me and the killer. (I don't know if they got a penalty or not, but I know that I did). I seriously doubt he disconnected. What reason would he have? And why didn't it let me go through the exit, and then afterward he come up to me and try to pick me up?

Had a match as Pig today. Game kicked me out for no good reason. These things happen too frequently for there to be six hour penalties.

They could just turn off there PC/console or pull the power plug, kill there internet purposely, etc, etc... That wouldn't solve anything. The% of ACTUAL crashes is tiny. Most are user generated, or they have a bad network connection/Outdated PC. Bans are here to stay...

I've had 3 in the last week... "tiny".

  • I get there being a DC ban, but I think it should be capped at one hour.

  • @Peanits said:

DCing still ruins the match for the other people there, even if you're stuck at home. The other people in your match are probably stuck at home too, and disconnecting is going to make their time worse. They matter too.

Sure, they matter too. But I'd hope the rest of us matter as well. And sometimes you just get disconnected from the server. In fact I JUST had a game where the server disconnected me. I was scared it was my internet at first, but I didn't have to reconnect and I was still able to use the internet.

There being a penalty is fine, but the escalation is a bit much. It hurts people who's internet may not be immaculate or who experience issues with the game. (I've had the game crash on me at LEAST twice in the last week. Coupled with some internet issues, and that's led to me having a 1 hour penalty for an issue with the server where I had green ping.) And I know the NEXT penalty is 6 hours, so now I essentially have to quit playing the rest of the day so that my penalty has time to decay, despite the fact that not only did my internet not go out, but it was the fault of the game itself.

  • This happened to me too, only I'm getting a one hour penalty for something caused by the servers and not me. It wasn't even my internet this time because I didn't have to reconnect and I was still able to look up stuff online. Now I have to quit for the rest of the day.

  • Ahh, I get what you're saying. You'd rather the killer proxy camp. I getcha. Personally I'm not a fan of that, but whatevs.

  • I hook AFK's. They might disconnect, and then I miss out on BBQ.

I do agree that the game needs to start making it feel better for killers when they get 6+ hooks. I'd say 7 hooks should be a win for the entity, regardless of rank or how many people were actually taken out of the game.

  • Oops, voted wrong. I'd use it for the bloodpoints, then use a different tracking perk. Though I'd still use it if the bloodpoint bonus were base.

  • Bloodpoints. Meg needs all the perks, and I'd like to get other perks on other killers. Also some addons for my Pig would be nice.

  • Tunneling is bad at creating pressure unless the survivors just don't heal. If you're facing good survivors, they'll pound out gens while you tunnel that one guy. And then they'll use DS and use BT (both of which are also strategies for wasting the killer's time) to keep you off them a little while longer. Tunneling works well against weaker survivors, but good survivors will enjoy having zero pressure to pound out generators. Now if survivors aren't healing, then tunneling might be necessary. Or if you simply can't find other survivors. But if you have a choice between Unhooked Survivor and Guy Who Saved Him, I'm going for the guy who saved him 99% of the time. The unhooked guy will take time to heal (and might even take someone else off a gen for a while to get healed up if he doesn't have a medkit), and the guy you're chasing won't be able to do generators either. Taking potentially three people off generators instead of trying to get one person out of the game (and then getting DS'ed)

I'm no red rank killer, but I do decently at rank 5/6. Usually when I do poorly its for one of four reasons, and not because I didn't tunnel:

#1. I couldn't find survivors. Wrath of Scantum Claudettes, I'm looking at you. Or I assume I'm looking at you. Maybe that's just a cloud of dust. IDK. Sometimes I go to the wrong spawn location, and that eats up a LOT of time.

#2. I committed to chases that I shouldn't have. "I'm bound to catch up to this player eventually. I'm faster than them. Surely I can catch them when they're running around the central building at Crotus Prenn. "

#3. Stupid Styptics. I can't imagine how the game was with instaheals. But I imagine its not too different from the STUPID STYPTICS

#4. Mistakes I made. I misjudge the distance to a hook, and a player wiggles free. I lose a survivor on the ground and spend way too much time looking for them.

I guess #5 could potentially be pallets. But I haven't had a game where pallets just made me want to tear my hair out lately. So either I've been lucky or I've gotten better.

  • I tracked 151 games, keeping track of various stats. I escaped 70 times. (roughly 46% of the time). Which is pretty good, considering I'm often overly altruistic in end game and try to save survivors I absolutely shouldn't. My overall rate is probably a bit lower than that, since I didn't track some trials I played (either because I didn't find the perks listed, or I was doing a challenge running perks I'd never usually run)

Yeah which is why it would be nice, if possible to add a feature that lets someone rejoin with in like a minute or so [a time that seems reasonable]. IN case their internet is wacky, for sometimes it happen. That or if the game could between a crash and someone dcing.

That'd be nice. At the very least as an option for killer. Let them reconnect to the game. Gens would probably get done in that time, but at the very least they'd be able to get more BP. Not sure why the game ends if the killer disconnects anyway. Well, I mean I guess its because the killer used to be the host. But with dedicated you'd think they could leave survivors in the trial. I mean I believe there have been games with 5 survivors and no killer.

  • Killers camp because they're bad at the game. They can't get kills normally, so they camp. Often they run NoED to get 4ks to feel like they're actually good at the game, but even then one or two people usually escape. It just depends on how altruistic survivors are. They'll say "It's a strategy!" But if they're being honest, it's because they can't get kills any other way. And not just because 'gen speeds are too fast'. That's an excuse. I mean gen speeds are definitely an issue, but camping isn't the only way to get kills.

The exception are people who are memeing. If you go into the basement and haven't seen the killer all game, that's kind of on you.

  • @Ghostwithaface said:

Well since this is online game, i figure most would make sure they have a stable connect and if they lack that, wait until it is stable or try to fix it before playing. Now if the game crashes from time to time. Well my advice is to look up fixes online and hope one works for you, to stop the game from crashing every other match. I have no idea what platform people are on. When ever i notice the game starting to crash a lot. Restarting my pc tends to fix the problem for awhile for me. It rarely crashes anymore and if a five minute wait is bugging you. Going with the idea it is your first dc of the day. Well go listen to a music video on youtube for a few minutes or play something else for awhile, like dark souls until the time is up. That the best advice i can offer.

This ignores those of us whose internet goes out intermittently.

It's not like my internet is going out every other match. It's going out like two or three times a day at random times that I cannot predict. And when it goes out, its out until I restart my router. Then its back either for three hours or its back for 24 hours. I've NEVER had my internet go out on me more than twice in 24 hours, but I've still built up a 6 hour penalty (in part thanks to the game crashing on me. I'm sure it REALLY ruined the game for the 0 other survivors left in the game when the killer closed the hatch, I made my way to the exit gate, opened it, made it all the way to the other side only for the game to NOT let me escape. And no, the killer didn't have blood warden. And even if they did -- 0 other survivors were still alive when the exit gates were even powered. Oh wait, no. Only my game was ruined by that, and MAYBE the killers but that wasn't even my fault). The penalty decays at a very slow rate, too. It seems designed to punish people with connection issues (even intermittent ones) rather than people who ragequit. I'm fine with there being a penalty, mind you. But I think the penalties enacted escalates way too fast and decay way too slowly. I shouldn't be punished for having an internet connection that works 95% of the time. At least not this much.

  • Switch. My PC can barely handle solitaire. My cousin (who I like playing with) only has an XBOX One and a Switch. I only have PS4 and Switch. So I bought it for Switch so I could play with my cousin. I'd consider getting it for PS4 if they make the DC penalties a tad more lenient and include cross-progression. (Tad more lenient because my internet is schitzophrenic. It might go out twice a day, but those times are completely random and with no warning)

  • DS needs a small nerf, but I think it should be one thing: If you unhook someone, then DS is deactivated. I think this small change would be fair, wouldn't nerf the perk into the ground, and still allow those of us killers who use the perk strategically (I like changing obsessions without having to have Nemesis. I run STBFL a lot, and I like to eat a DS so I can go after someone i hadn't hooked yet without losing my stacks) to do so. It also forces someone without DS to come off a generator and make a save if someone else has been hooked, and you don't want to lose your DS. Just my two cents.

  • In my limited experience:

Across 55 games with NoED, 22 sacrifices were made thanks to the perk. That's an average of .44 extra kills because of the perk. Of course this is in part due to the fact that some killers got the 4K before NoED even activated. So NOED doesn't even always activate.

  • A lot of killer mains hate the idea, but I think it'd be fine IF they also made Hex Perks a lot better protected. As it is, most hex perks are cleansed way too fast. Especially since hex perks LOVE to spawn next to generators, and even when they don't survivors have their spawn locations memorized. I think they'd also have to increase the amount of time to cleanse a totem. Maybe to 24 seconds.

  • @Steel_Eyed said:

With Hillbilly you could’ve just chainsawed back anyways. Depending on situations I’d rather allow an unhook to happen because you get a lot more blood points then one-hooking a player. Survivors are less bickery when you let them, too.

I like allowing unhooks to happen too. Though I had a game recently where ALL THREE survivors rushed for the basement. I was coming out of the basement when I ran into them. They did eventually get the unhook, but I don't think the survivors were very happy because they killed themselves on their second hook each. If I see THREE survivors and have one hooked, I'm not going to go to a random generator and be like "Gee, where are the survivors at?"

  • Decrease times. My internet doesn't cut out 'every other match'. It might go out twice a day at MOST, and I was unlucky enough to have this happen three days in a row. Combined with a single game crash, this built up to a six hour penalty which I don't feel was fair. I waited 24 hours before playing again, only for my internet to cut out after 4 matches. This led to another six hour penalty. So I'm stuck unable to play today or tomorrow for fear of the penalty, despite the fact I'd never disconnect more than twice in a day. (And the one crash that was the game's fault, I was almost out the exit gate when it crashed. Like if it waited half a second longer, I'd have gotten a ton of BP for escaping)

I'm fine with there being a penalty, but it should NOT escalate so fast. My next penalty would be 24 hours I believe. That escalation is way too fast.

  • Cleanse one totem, keep in mind where the rest are. When the last gen pops, go looking for totems while someone gets the exit gates. If its lit, break it.

NoED only really sucks when one of two things happen:

#1. Your team rushes the gens so fast you don't have time to find all 5 totems, even though you didn't work on a single generator.

#2. Killer camps someone on the hook, or uses a mori.

  • Camping and Tunneling are no fun, and I don't think the Devs should've legitimized it as a strategy. But ragequitting isn't fun either. Bring DS if you get tunneled, and bring unbreakable in case you get slugged. Very powerful combination. Instead of rage quitting, punish their strategy. Bring a flashlight in case they camp, then blind them and go for the save. Especially if you also have Borrowed time.

Rage Quitting isn't the answer. I think the DC penalty is too harsh, but I don't think its too harsh at the 15 minute point. 15 mins is nothing. You should take a break cool down by that point. You're obviously not in a very good place if you choose to leave the game. Take a break, calm down, then come back to the game. At least you get to go back to it. I don't get to go back to it for a long time because my internet connection has had some issues (coupled with the game simply crashing on me). I'll have to wait a week for the penalty to decay so I can play without worrying that my internet is just going to cut out on me for no good reason or the game's just going to put me in a scenario where it forces me to DC. All because of players like you who ragequit. Be glad you can at least play once the 15 minutes is up. Just don't quit again. Suicide on the hook or stay in the game to punish the killer. You've got options. Be thankful for that. Some of us don't.

  • Though I agree the ban times are a bit ridiculous, you really shouldn't quit in the middle of a game unless you absolutely have to. I had some internet issues last week, coupled with a crash where NOBODYS GAME WAS RUINED BUT MINE -- I was LITERALLY half a second from the exit when the game decided "Nah, not going to let you leave." -- which led to a 6 hour ban. I waited 24 hours to play again. Things seemed fine until my internet decided "You know how I was working for the last 24 hours without any problem? Even allowing you to download updates for everything overnight! Yeah, I'm not going to do that anymore." And then got ANOTHER 6 hour ban. Which is a 48 hour soft ban if I want the penalty to decay (maybe longer, I'm not sure. They NEVER explain it for some reason)

I mean if you're losing, accept the loss. I'd love to be able to just turn on the game and play. Heck, I'd love it if my ISP fixed the copper wiring so my internet didn't go out once in a while. But that's not going to happen. If you enjoy the game, you should finish each match and be happy that you don't face these issues some people do.

  • @EthanW said:

One change I would like for Pig is that once a survivor has a trap that has already been started on their head, if a gen is completed, a quarter of their timer is depleted.

I don't like this idea as a Pig main. It wouldn't really convince most solos to stop doing gens. I'd much rather see them have a longer timer, but also be much harder to get off. And maybe instead of having just 1 for each survivor, have 5 total as base, with 5 boxes. I've always liked the idea of having two keys in two random boxes. That way they have to search minimum two boxes. That'd be a great slowdown method that relies less on RNG. And they could increase the timer to compensate.

  • Don't worry too much about the first 3 gens. Your job isn't to stop them from doing ANY gens. Its to stop them from leaving. If the generators are on one side of the map, that's good for you. It shrinks the map. You want the map to shrink. Its only really an issue if the gens they're doing are scattered. The first gens are the easiest to do, the last gens should be the hardest. Had a game today where the first three gens popped fast, with only one down. Got my second hook and the fourth gen popped. But the last three gens were pretty close together. The situation was perfectly managable. I got my third hook, and things took off from there. I didn't panic. Eventually got one of them out of the game, and I just kept fighting for that last gen. Did they almost complete it? Yes. Did my obsession with OoO try to finish it in my face? Yes. Did I have STBFL? Yes. Did I laugh hard when I got a grab? Also Yes. Then I hung her, popped the gen, found Jake hiding, downed him, hooked him a third time. Chased the Claudette, downed her and it was game over. First four gens went very fast. I think a lot of killers panic when that happens. But if the gens are close together, its working in your favor. You can't always protect the early gens. Sometimes you've just gotta know when to let go.

  • I just want to be able to play TBH. Maybe less of a grind. I didn't realize Myers was a vegetarian because the entity will NOT give him BBQ+Chili. Can't even play now because my internet can be wonky from time to time.

  • Just give all players remaining a 20k bloodpoint bonus for every disconnect. That way Rage Quitters really reward killers, rather than punish them.

  • Also the penalty does NOT decay after 24 hours. After having some issues and getting a six hour penalty I took a break from the game for almost two days. I figured by then the penalty would've reduced if my internet happens to go out or the game happens to crash (which isn't as rare as people make it out to be) and I got ANOTHER six hour penalty. I thought my internet was fine this morning, played a couple games. My internet goes out just once and I get another six hour penalty. For one disconnect in 48 hours? Yeah... that's Stupid. Don't care what anyone says.

  • The DC Penalties are there so that the Devs can focus on making overpriced cosmetics instead of fixing a real issue. They can say "See! We solved this really minor problem!" And the players will eat it up because they're more than happy to spend $3.00 or more on an outfit for a video game character. Including ones they can't even see.

  • I did this once. They brought four toolboxes. So I turned invisible (I was Wraith) and hid in the basement. Someone showed up at the end. I hooked them, and got a 1K still.

  • I hate that survivors hunt totems personally. My devour never lasts as long as I'd like it to.

  • You're not really outclassing the survivors if you can't hook them enough before 5 gens pop. Sometimes survivors are just really good. Just because they're getting caught doesn't mean they aren't good. But run whatever perks you like. I run Unrelenting. I'm sure people would laugh at me and say I'm terrible for running that perk. "Don't miss!" I just find it useful sometimes. Same with Franklin's. Are they the best perks? Absolutely not. But I like them and it makes my experience more enjoyable. I don't think NoED is particularly useful. It might get you an extra kill sometimes, but I honestly think I'm a better killer than I would've been if I had run NoED most of the time. Because I got more practice against survivors than I would've otherwise. I'm still not a red rank killer (though I often face Red Rank Survivors, cause I'm within that range anyway so I can't even complain about matchmaking) but I don't think I'd be a purple rank if I ran NoED a lot.

  • Moris are a problem because 95% of the killers who use them use them one way: They tunnel straight off the hook and mori you. This means getting hooked once means you're out of the game unless your teammates happen to have Borrowed Time. Moris are really cool, but this strategy makes them HIGHLY annoying. They definitely need to be reworked (and probably in secret, otherwise we'll see Ebony MOri's every game until the update)

Keys are a problem because they take away a lot of pressure from the killer. You get them into a 3-gen situation, and get them down to three players, and they can all just leave through the hatch. Doesn't matter that you've played well until that point and hooked each of them once or twice. Doesn't matter that you can defend the last gen. If they find the hatch, they all get out.

  • I had two games in a row like this the other day.

Game #1: It was on The Game, and I found survivors pretty quickly. I put an RBT on one of their heads, hooked them and left. Used BBQ to find the next survivor, put an RBT on their head and used BBQ to find Survivor #3 to do the same thing. Then I got the first guy (who had gotten their RBT off) and downed him. Hooked him, and.. he suicided on the hook. Found the other two who did the same thing, last guy got the hatch. I safety pipped off a pretty decent 3K with maybe 2 gens done.

Game #2: I forget which map, but I found Pink Feng near the basement and managed to down her. I put an RBT on her head and hook her in the basement. On my way out, I see not one, not two, but THREE survivors rushing for the save. (Keep in mind these are all purple ranks, same rank I am). Now what am I supposed to do? Go patrol gens I know aren't being worked on? Pop a gen with ZERO progress? I went for the Adam first, cause I saw him first. Hit him, hit purple feng (I wanted my STBFL stacks) and then downed Adam. Claudette gets the flashlight save, Purple Feng gets the save. I go and down Adam a second time. Put an RBT on his head and carefully watch for Claudette and her flashlight (which are right behind me). I hook Adam. I go to a generator and pop it (they've still only got one done at this point). On my way, I see Purple Feng hiding, preparing to go to rescue Adam. So I chase her, and hit her again and put an RBT on her head and hang her too! While leaving Purple Feng, I see Pink Feng -- she's already got the RBT off -- and hook her. She commits suicide on the hook and it spirals from there. I run into Claudette, having enough STBFL stacks, and down her quickly. Adam saves Purple Feng, and I hook Claudette who also gets an RBT on her head. Using BBQ I see that Adam and Purple Feng are together. So again, at this point my options are to go to generators I know aren't being worked on, or toward the two survivors grouped together. When I get there, I see Adam still has his RBT while Purple Feng got hers off. So I go for Feng. I down her. Adam sticks around I guess for his protection hits, so I hit him and he runs off to save Claudette. I hook Purple Feng, and Purple Feng also suicides on the hook. By then, Adam is in the process of unhooking Claudette, at which point I again only have two options: Patrol gens that aren't being worked on, or go for the two people I know where they are. I chase them both, but Adam loses me for a bit. So I go after Claudette, who vaults the pallet the wrong way, I down her and... she too commits suicide on her second hook. I manage to down Adam before he finds the hatch, and hook him, and its game over. Pretty well played in my book. But nothing but a safety pip.

I've had games where for some reason its says I only FOUND three survivors, when I hooked all 4 of them and got a 4k. I play pretty fairly. I mostly don't tunnel, and I rarely camp. I try making things fun for survivors, but at times I still don't pip however well I play. The system is a bit confusing. I guess some of my chases weren't really chases because the survivors were standing still or something, and I snuck up on them and downed them thanks to Make Your Choice. But I feel that should've counted in those games.

  • Some people don't care about pips. Killer and survivor alike. Some killers just want 4k's, and some survivors just want to escape.

  • Nah, the healing speed is a good trade off. Plague can make players totally broken at the cost of relatively fast healing, but with the reward of vile purge.

  • @Awakey said:

No, no, no, and more no.

Tunneling is a LEGITIMATE STRATEGY used by killers to eliminate a target from the game. Once one player is eliminated, you can start snowballing easy. Like this:

-Down and hook, which forces a save.

-Find the last person on gens. Start chasing.

    -Down and hook.

    Rinse and repeat.

No penalties to tunnelers. It's a perfectly balanced strategy.

"But wait!" You say. "What about the Survivors having fun?"

News flash: I. Do. Not. Care. Whether. You. Have. Fun. It is not my job. My job is to kill you and reap the rewards. Nothing else.

Cool. Hope you enjoy survivors hopping in lockers with DS and making you wait it out. Cause that's a LEGITIMATE STRATEGY too.

  • I think the key challenge is a lot worse. You're going to piss off killers, who'll bring Ebony Mori's just because you're trying to do a stupid challenge. And then you have to FIND the hatch before the killer and open it. And you can't really listen for it then.

  • Keys are pretty annoying. Had a game the other day where 3 escaped through the hatch with 1 gen left. I still pipped, but felt so bad seeing them all escape. I had an idea they might have a key, since there was an ash with Ashy Slashy. Went way out of my way to not tunnel him too, cause I downed him early in the match, then a second time and was going to hook him -- I was hoping to eat the DS, but he didn't have it. Would've been okay if he left by himself.

  • I mean after you hook the second to last guy, slug the last guy and go looking for the hatch. You can listen for it then. That's how I did it.

  • New status effect that reduces gen repair speeds (but only lasts a minute) combined with making base regression on generators a little faster. Way too slow as is.

  • 2 minutes is fine. The idea is to shrink the map for the killer to give them a strong starting game. Then two minutes into the match, the killer has 3 perks instead of 4.

  • Slug the last guy, go find the hatch. Pretty simple.
