I'd like to at least transfer my auric cells and shards and leftover BP to PS4. Also my cakes from Cheryl. I'd love those. I had 95 of them. They'd come in handy getting back to where I was. I have 4180 Shards, 1000 Auric Cells, and 634,643 Bloodpoints unspent.
-
I've switched to PS4 from Switch. I'm not counting on Crossprogression ever coming, so I'm earning BP to get myself back to where I was. So far I've unlocked BBQ from Leatherface, all of Meg's perks, all of Feng's perks, Iron Will, We're Gonna Live Forever. I still need roughly 40 million BP, but I figure if I stay on Switch it'll take me forever. Sony are really strict about allowing cross progression. Maybe they'll allow it once I've maxed out everything on PS4.
-
Step 1: Play Plague.
Step 2: Play other killers less than you play Plauge
Congratulations, you are a Plague main.
-
A pretty decent huntress gets more than 10k BP with or without Iri Head.
Probably a Rank 2 who never touched Huntress much. Not super meaningful.

Know what's most fascinating bout this thread:
So many of you would cut Killers that require a slight change in your gameplay, and that says everything one needs to know about your skill as survivors.
Amateurs.
The topic is that you HAVE to cut the roster in half. If you have even 5 killers you like to play as/against, that's half your list of 'keep' right there.
-
Axe:
- Clown
- Oni
- Leatherface
- Deathslinger
- Hag
- Doctor
- Huntress
- Wraith
- Demogorgon
- Nurse
This was hard. Immediately decided not to cut: Myers and Freddy (Too iconic) Pig (Love piggy), Ghostface (As much as I hate going against him, I do enjoy playing him sometimes), Trapper (Too big a part of DBD) Legion (enjoy playing, enjoy facing), and Plauge (love playing as her too). And you gotta keep one of the Chainsaw bois. So I took Billy over going camping with Leatherface. That left ONLY TWO SPOTS. I like Pyramid Head a lot, and Plague is a lot of fun to play as too. I do like Doctor, but I don't particularly care to face him.
-
The other night I loaded into a match. Freddy was the killer. Badham was the map. A teammate DCed within 10 seconds of the match starting. Do you think that match was fun? No. It wasn't. Not even remotely. Especially since the Freddy had no interest in mercy. Which is fair enough. Not his fault our teammate decided to 'nope' out of there. If you think Freddy isn't fun, how do you think survivors feel when they're at a disadvantage against him down one teammate within the first 10 seconds of the game?
-
Had it happen to me 4 times. Seen it happen to someone else once. They're supposed to fix it in the next patch.
-
I've only ever gotten nice messages as killer. But I've been lucky so far. As survivor I've gotten salty messages from other survivors. But never the killer.
-
Introduce an early game that does the following:
-Makes finding survivors easier
-Makes survivors vulnerable if they stay in place too long (even if working on a gen)
-Doesn't waste hex perks like Ruin
-Includes some sort of secondary objective to end the early game opening.
-
I don't think so? Doesn't seem like it to me at least.
-
I doubt it. I think they'll put it in a PTB before they put it live.
-
Sometimes it feels like the game has it out for you.
Me: Time to play Hag and get the challenge and the daily. Sure I only have one perk slot -- and sure, I'm pretty bad with Hag. But I can at least complete the challenge and get some bloodpoints.
Game: Did you say you wanted two SWF teams, one of which is red rank, and the other a purple and a brown? YOU GOT IT!
Also every time I do survivor challenges, I swear I get killers that make it harder to complete said challenge. LIke "Sabotage 3 hooks in the killer's terror radius." Game: "Have a Wraith! Or Ghostface. Or Deathslinger!"
-
It comes from people thinking they're better than they really are. And either anyone who plays differently is 'bad', or killers who beat them (or survivors) were 'cheaters/unfair'. After all, can't ever be their fault they lost.
-
Also, how are we supposed to avoid them if we don't know who they are? Do you want us all just to play Forever Freddy for the rest of the night?
-
How can you even target a killer, you can't see who the killer is in the lobby?
-
We don't need post game chat. Sometimes I'll get a nice message from players post-game on PS4, but sometimes I'll get nasty ones from the toxic tools out there. We need less of that in DBD.
-
I like whispers because finding survivors is really hard, especially early in the game.
-
I had a game once where the killer brought a shroud. I thought it was a Mori, and played super carefully. He didn't get a hook until end game.
-
I'll take the survivors who do nothing over the survivors who farm you off the hook. I can't get 2 feet from the hook without getting downed again because my teammates don't know how to do a safe save.
-
Tbh I'm not even sure you have to unclock. I wonder if it'd count if you cloak near them. But I haven't tested it and can't test it. Since it just says ring the bell.
-
Just have to uncloak. Make sure you find the survivors, maybe not even chase them. Maybe try not to look in their direction too much in case of spine chill. It's a bit hard to get too close sometimes though because they can see and hear you a little.
-
The Grind should be reduced. It puts off new players, and doesn't really serve much purpose. With as many killers and survivors as there are now, I think it's time to reduce the grind significantly. Maybe reduce bloodpoint costs for everything by 1000 BP. That'd cut the grind by 25% and I don't think it'd have an adverse affect on the game.
-
-Complains about teammates not doing anything
-Totally okay with teammates DCing/killing themselves on the first hook.
Weird.
-
They're just cocky. Had a Jake do this to me yesterday. He was pretty good in chase, but eventually I got him. Then he disconnected.
-
They need to fix it first.
Though it will be nice for archive challenges and dailies. Playing Trapper against a 4-man SWF with toolboxes and flashlights with just 3 low level perks was not fun.

SURVIVOR PERKS
This is Not Happening - (Rework) When healthy, receive a 2/4/6% boost to repairing and a 3/6/9% boost to healing, and totem cleansing speed. You are permanently oblivious.
Up The Ante - 1/2/3% luck increase. Great Skill Check zones are 20/25/30% bigger
Slippery Meat - Increase chance of escape by 2/4/6%
Deja Vu - (Rework) See the Aura of all Generators and Totems you have interacted with. Bloodpoint gains from working on gens increased by 50/75/100%
Babysitter - Unhooked survivor also sees the killer's aura
Lucky Break - Activates every time you are injured. Leave no blood trails for 30/45/60 seconds
No One Left Behind - Activates as soon as the gens are completed, instead of the exit gate being opened
Solidarity - Med-kits count.
Camaraderie - Works even when not in the struggle phase.
Open Handed - Extended to 6/8/10 meters
Small Game - Add a Totem counter
Autodidact - 25% more likely to receive skill check while healing survivors
Off the Record - Killer does not receive a sound notification when you are saved from the hook.
Buckle Up - Heal survivors from the dying state 20/25/30% faster
Sole Survivor - When you are the only survivor alive, you also gain 7% haste
Poised - 8/10/12 seconds
Boil Over - Increase hook aura range to 16/18/20 meters
Red Herring - Works on lockers instead of Generators.
Diversion - Only takes 30 seconds to activate.
Fixated - No healthy requirement
Distortion - Cleansing a totem will give you one token
Flip-Flop - See the aura of hooks within 20 meters of where you are when in dying state. Also increase to 100% of your recovery, but keep the 40/45/50% total wiggle progression maximum
We're Gonna Live Forever - Combine with Kindred.
KILLER PERKS
Monstrous Shrine - (Rework) When survivors enter the basement, they are afflicted by the Oblivious Status effect. This effect remains for 5/10/15 seconds after leaving the basement.
Mindbreaker - Works on all gens, not just those with less than 50% completion. Timer increased from 3 seconds to 10 seconds.
Overwhelming Presence - Survivors in your terror radius also suffer a repair penalty of 6/8/10%

Territorial Imperative - Also applies to the Killer Shack.
Unrelenting - Cooldown of missed basic attacks by 40/45/50%
Predator - Scratchmarks appear brighter and last 1/2/3 seconds longer
Hangman's Trick - Hooks automatically repair themselves after 20/15/10 seconds. (This sounds familiar...)
Bloodhound - See the aura of bloodspots within a 4/6/8 meter radius
Coulrophobia - Healing skill checks become tremendously difficult in your terror radius as well.
Beast of Prey - Gain Bloodlust 3/5/7 seconds faster
Cruel Limits - Map Wide
Unnerving Presence - Also removes Great Skill Check area entirely
Gearhead - No Skill Check requirement. Just reveals any gens being worked on during the time its active. Now requires 3 hits to proc.
Third Seal - Also applies Exhausted status effect
Dead Man's Switch - Generator also regresses 12% if let go and blocked and continues regressing at the normal regression rate until worked on again.
Dying Light - Obsession's healing speed is reduced to 20% instead of 33%
Huntress Lullaby - Start with 1 token. Now affects Jigsaw Boxes.
Spies from the Shadows - Instead, you see the aura of the survivor who disturbed the crows for 2 seconds.
Overcharge - Additional Regression buffed to 10/12/14%
Surge - 40 meters instead of 32

On one hand, this is definitely unfair. I've had it happen to me before. Had a trapper DC because I got his NoED 5 seconds after the last gen popped after he didn't hook anyone all game.
On the other hand, it's also unfair when survivors DC when the killer downs them. Had a Jake do this to me today. And it's unfun for survivors when their fellow survivors disconnect and it becomes 3 vs 1.
-
Sure they should. People should run whatever perks they want. Except OoO. Screw OoO.
-
How Killers think SWF with comms is most of the time:
"Okay where's the killer now?"
"90 degrees north. Converge on the gens for exactly 30 seconds. I'll let you know when he's headed my way!"
How SWF with comms actually is most of the time:
"I stunned the killer! Ha take that."
"Man this killer is stupid. Oh #########--i'm dead. I'm dead."

let's be honest, that'd be fun
We'd at least get new topics:
Survivor Mains: "Why don't more killers play Freddy or Spirit? Revert the Billy and Nurse nerfs please. Also can we buff the speed boost of NoED?"
Killer Mains: "Why don't more survivors run DS and Unbreakable? Can we get the old insta-heals back?"
Entity Mains: "Survivors and Killers are the REAL power role."
-
@White_Owl said:
Actually I have the impression the Entity pulled the strings to make the alchemist become what it is now. Plus it's not like it cares about the killers' well being since we already knew it tortures many.
New game mode: Survivors + Killers team up to kill the entity. (Represented by 4 flashlight clicking Nea's)

@kaeru said:
Good point. I think if survivors could have as much bloodpoints as killers, it woult be great for game health. It means more people play survivors and instant lobbies for killers. Queue tmes are better with crossplay, but there is still a room to decrease queue times for killers.
Killers need more BP than survivors. They are far more add-on dependent, and each one plays very differently. A good perk for one killer, might not be a good perk for another killer. Survivors are just skins.
-
Then I took an arrow to the knee.

@KateDunson said:
Just salty players that can't accept they're bad, can't be their connection imo, because let's be honest, u lose your internet right after the hit? Lol
Happened to me once. Also happened when I was hooking someone.
-
Mitochondria Eve.
-
Were you in one of my games? I've had it happen four times. I think the devs say that the next patch will address it?

how to lose in a nutshell, lol. i dare you to try this when there are 2 gens left and you got 0 hooks.
I've done it. Got my first hook with 2 gens left, from there I snowballed. Ended up with a nice solid 3K.
-
One more:
There should be a 5th BP category: Participation. Everyone gets 8000 BP from it as long as they don't disconnect from the game. This encourages continuing to play until the end, and makes the grind a bit more bearable. This also makes those games where you get mori-tunneled a little more bearable.
-
Killers who do that deserve every DS and Unbreakable they get tbqh.
-
Adrenaline is overrated.
Gen speed is fine. Early game is the issue.
NoED is detrimental to new killers because they don't learn to deal with end game without the exposed status.
3 or 4 gens popping doesn't mean the game is over, even if you've only hooked one person.
Meg is the best looking female survivor
-
No thanks. I'm not interested in 14 year olds screaming obscenities.
-
Chat usually goes one of two ways:
Killer: GG
Survivor: GG
Survivor: GG
OR:
Killer or Survivor: (If they win, and sometimes if they lose) GGEZ (If they lose) (Insert Slurs and Expletives as you see appropriate)
Doesn't seem worth it to me.
-
Got stuck for the third time yesterday on that stupid rock. Plague took me and hooked me in the basement. My team could've took a protection hit, but didn't. Managed to finish 2 gens afterward, and got out with decent BP at least. But I was stuck there for a good while. Hopefully this'll be fixed very soon.
-
Mori Fix:
Grants the ability to kill all/1 survivor(s) by your own hand after you have hooked 5 survivors or the exit gates have been powered.
-
Chat would just be two things:
"GGWP"
and
"Expletive Expletive you Expletive. You suck. You camper/tunneler/gen rusher/useless teammate/idiot/moron/racialslur/homophobic slur/whatever!"
-
The problem with horror is that none of it is really scary once you've experienced enough of it. I still get a jump scare if I step on a trap before I know it's Trapper or Hag. But I don't think any game could ever outright scare me. Horror is a complex genre that's hard to do well because viewers/players etc... have to be completely immersed to be scared. The horror elements are fine. There's just not enough immersion. And you can't really add it because it's difficult to do in a competitive video game without making the game unfun to play.

One of the reasons I left DbD on Xbox for PS4. I played on there for a year and finally left because good god, the children that play this game on there. I got so many messages that are downright disgusting and I wouldn't say it to my worst enemy. I feel like because it's on the Game Pass it's attracting the worst possible kind of players to the game since what do they lose by playing and getting to bully someone across the internet. But, it is the internet so what can you do these days?
I have a theory that most of the DBD toxicity comes from teen edgelords who think they're amazing and never at fault for anything.
-
I'm a former Switch player. Glad I moved on to PS4. If I had a better PC I might try it on there instead. Hopefully they'll optimize everything soon.
-
I was a Legion's pet one time. One guy DC'd, the other suicided on the hook. Legion found us, and she let us hit her with pallets, do gens, took us to the basement for boldness points. She hooked us each once, then let us go out the exit gate.
