I was going back in between gate to gate after the last gen gets done, leave one of the them to glimpse at the other, and the gate is open with claudette tbagging like she actually did something.
No faster progression perks were used and it took her 15 seconds.
Gate speeds are too fast, gen speeds are too fast, and killers cant do anything.
And dont tell me to bring perks that slow progression, because that is why everyone brings the same four perks every game.
In other words, something must be done.

But then how do you balance it? I play both and I get your point on gens flying fast vs some teams even when you use slow down perks or put constant pressure on survivors.
On the flip side, and being a solo survivor, I find myself often doing gens because most of the time, my ######### team mates don’t.
Another thing is, if you play with someone who is rubbish and gets killed or DCs in the first 2 minutes cause they got downed, it’s hard enough to win after that.
If a killer kills a survivor before 3 gens are finished, it is most likely that Survivors will lose.

Then uninstall the game if it stresses you out lol , you ranting about how killers play in a forum is giving them more of an ammunition to play that way. 😂
Like I said suicide or hang there for a bit to help your team get those gens done. You'll have more respect for it.
Yes it's may ruin your side of it, but everytime someone DCs ect that killers laughing because they got under your skin. This thread is based on salty players based on messages not salty players based on how a killer plays. I agree it's a massive pain, but the bottom line is they're not breaking game rules, jus double checked myself of the rules. Tunnelling/camping isn't rules breaking. And that goes for those particular killers who complain of gen camping... its annoying asf. But it's not rule breaking.
Well then uninstall the game if salty dms stresses you out instead of b****ing about it on an online forum.
Clearly from your original message above seems like you unhooked the guy unsafely and like a punk just ran to the exit gate without taking a hit for your team mate. Though I think the guy shouldn’t have wasted his time on you.

You all guessing that the Resident Evil Killer for DBD is going to be Mr. X or Nemesis but you fools don't realize this is BHVR running the show. You getting the Chainsaw Man from Resident Evil 4. They're gonna rehash Leatherface and Hillbilly's ability to this guy and call it a day.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/NRKXAJQV5RU2/chainsawguy.jpg
All jokes aside, for real, it's not going to be Mr. X nor Nemesis because Resident Evil Village is the hottest s**t in town right now. You think BHVR is going to miss the opportunity to bank on one of the biggest video game memes right now. You getting the big lady walking around all fancy-like suffocating the survivors between her delicious giant *****.
Let me tell you BHVR. You put this lady in your game, you will have so many players flooding in from all around the world throwing money at ya so fast that not even RE: Village can compete with your sales figures. People gonna be playing your game instead of RE: Village.
Is it possible to read a post, and feel you got dumber after finishing it?

I don’t think the game is even confused about the win / loss conditions.
Yesterday I got Ruthless Killer, and still Depipped.
Another game, Killer was AFK whole match, I did like three gens, opened a couple of chests, got like a totem or two, escaped and still somehow depipped. Lol yeah ok

It’s harder, but doesn’t mean you can’t be amazing, it takes practice.

Welcome to dead by daylight where players are free to play how they want! 🤙
Unfortunately camping/ tunnelling is against the dbd rules. Its game play and tac tic.. it doesn't benefit the killer as 3 gens are automatically and almost instantly blast in their face. Complaining or giving salt is exactly what those particular killers want you to do. If I come across camper they can bet their sorry butt's I ain't playing that BS and will suicide to for a different match (sorry team but that game play is wack!)
Just suicide the hook and move forward. What ever you do don't DC nothing worse than any player or killer DCing.. may as well uninstall the game if you're easily aggy about how someone plays.
People can play how they want, still doesn’t mean they won’t get criticised for it. It’s a ######### way to play. It ruins someone elses fun of the game and it also makes them depip because they were unlucky to get found first and caught, it’s just a toxic way to play. If you teabagged though, you probably deserve it then.

That doesn’t make sense to suicide, if anything it rewards the **** player cause he doesn’t have to stand anymore waiting for you to die and takes time away to do gens and punish him.

Yeah man that whinds me up too, but I wouldn't give them a pants inbox over it, I'd just happily move to the next match... ranting in their DM isn't gonna change how they play after all.
I can’t cause I’m console and it’s a PC player, so there’s no communication afterwards.
I understand if its end game, but for the first guy you down and then just stand there until he dies, it’s a **** way to play and even ruins that guys game.
-
Honestly I only get salty at killers who camp a hook until a player is dead, what a **** way to play.
-
80 minute game?!!!! Oh my god!
-
It’ll probably be Claire and Leon, possibly Chris or Jill. But Claire and Leon are such obvious choices.
For the Killer I don’t see anything other than Nemesis. Mr. X is like a weird Michael Myers, and I doubt it would be Wesker. Though I think Wesker would be more interesting than Nemesis.
-
2 V 6 doesn’t make sense since 1 killer has 4 survivors to contend against. It has to be 2 vs 8 and maybe increase gens to 8-10.
-
As a solo survivor, I go in expecting one or two of my team mates to be useless and so expect the loss, I’m pleasantily surprised when that’s not the case. Still it doesn’t matter, as a survivor I go in wanting to help the team and this getting as many points as possible to pip.
As killer, it’s a more relaxed experience, I play all killers, and my focus here is to make the game fun for others too like a horror movie. I’m usually content with one kill, but even if it doesn’t happen, I don’t feel bad.
-
@BioX said:
its actually the other way around, it only works well for killers who do have skill, because its those killers that apply so much pressure that its barely doable to finish just the gens and you certainly dont have time ot also look for totems, and that is when NoeD hits.
If the killer has "no skill" then they apply no pressure and thus you have all the time in the world ot find and cleance all the totems.
Interesting point of view.

In my experience going up against Trickster has produced some of the funniest games ever, he’s just that bad.

If a killer has played really well all match and hooked everyone and even killed one or two other survivors I really don't mind getting hit with noed.
The only time it annoys me is if I've outplayed a killer all game without even getting hit and they've pretty much struggled to get anyone and then get hit by it.
Yeah, fair point.

I accept tunneling is a part and parcel and I don't have an issue if you're the first survivor they see - of course they're going to go for you and I think that's pretty fair game.
Literally out of all the games (about 12) tonight only 1 didnt have someone tunnel. Just to clarify I mean direct tunneling as in I said ok let's actively take the chase and a hit to make me easy target only for them to then ignore me and keep tunneling out the hooked person!
I think lucky break is needed more than ever ATM! Maybe it'll give some people a chance! (These matches are all mid rank btw) - maybe due to rank reset.
I can live with tunneling, the worst thing for me is hook camping, why the hell would you play like that? It’s not fun for anyone.
The thing is as a solo player a lot of killers get away with it cause you don’t have players that are actually doing the objective in the meanwhile to make the killer pay for his stupid tactic.
It also means that you likely have to run Kindred a lot of the time.

I've also hit someone directly with deathslinger's spear but because they used deadhard they were given an invincible frame so even though the spear hit, it didn't spear him.
Such BS this perk is broken
Do you know how hard it is to Dead hard just when a shot goes off? The timing has to be done just right, I guarantee you most players won’t pull it off. Seriously, I don’t even use Dead hard and the complaints about it are BS.

@kyogul said:
I think the explanations as to why Dead Hard is such a busted and unfair perk is pretty simply explained, but yet you have some people who don't quite get it and think it's just simple to "bait it out" when that only works on bad players.
The problem with Dead Hard is that it's a ctrl+z command for survivors in an exhaustion perk, and is the only exhaustion perk that is all reward, no risk, and has exploitable i-frames. If you get outplayed at a chase by a killer, all you do as a survivor is press E to deny an instance where you would otherwise get downed and extend a chase for longer than it should have been because you got rewarded for being injured and received a quasi-third health state. In many instances where Dead Hard prevents you from being downed can be swapped with having Endurance from Mettle of Man. And you did nothing of substance or effort to get said Endurance effect either.
Why saying "JuST BaIt oUT DeAd HaRd" is ignorant:
Dead Hard for distance can't be baited out. You can't make someone use Dead Hard, let alone does baiting matter when there's a pallet or a window right in front of them. Baiting only works on ######### players.
Exploiting of i-frames:
You can Dead Hard to prevent from getting hit by exploiting its i-frames. Examples: Dead Harding through/into Punishment of the Damned (POTD). If you were to use Lithe or Sprint Burst and run into POTD, you'd get injured. If you used DH to get across POTD (or even to launch yourself in the same direction as it), you would prevent from getting hit.
Likewise, if I used Lithe or Sprint Burst and walked into a trap by Trapper or Hag, it would activate. If I Dead Hard over those traps, it would not activate. How is this not a busted perk?
Dead Hard is the only exhaustion perk that is all reward, no risk:
Every other exhaustion perk involves some sort of setup and/or exhaustion management. Dead Hard is available to you whenever you need it and you have no need to put effort into maintaining to get it.
Lithe involves setup. You can be in a dead zone where there is no vault near you, and even then there are times when you need to vault while being looped but fast vaulting in that specific instance would be a waste.
Balanced Landing is very hit or miss as there are many maps where there are not even elevated platforms. Even when you're in a chase you may not be near one, either.
Head On is...Head On.
Sprint Burst is very much, objectively, the strongest exhaustion perk in the game in terms of effects, but not in actuality because of how you have to maintain it. It's the most tedious exhaustion perk in the game to maintain as it overrides the normal running function. You have to be in constant management of your exhaustion in order to properly have it available when you need it.
Dead Hard is the only perk that involves no setup, no risk, but all reward. You get injured and you get a free third health state on command with no effort to use on your part. Congratulations you can now outplay your opponent because you pressed E on your keyboard.
Conclusion:
Dead Hard is so problematic because it's such a powerful perk and involves no effort on the survivor's part to use, and it feels cheap that when you outplay your opponent in a chase they instead outplay you not because of skill, but because they tapped a letter on their keyboard. Dead Hard can be compared to old DS in a way; anti-momentum, because many times it wastes so much of your time that you have to leave them alone.
Also side note:
Also to the people who say Dead Hard isn't a strong perk because "eXhaUsTed oN thE GRoUnD" and whatever other non sense, then why is it arguably one of the most used exhaustion perks in the game, and more specifically the most used exhaustion perk in red ranks (or in other words, the highest rank in the game) ? Why is it always included in meta builds? Do you think people run DS/Unbreakable/Borrowed Time but put on a "#########" exhaustion perk, or an inferior one compared to something else stronger they can use for shites and giggles?
I didn’t read much after the second paragraph cause your post couldn’t be any more wrong and I can’t believe you have that many people agree with it. I play both Killer and Survivor and Dead hard is probably one of the most misused exhaustion perks, simply because in most cases it won’t continue the chase for longer. If I’m killer and I’m chasing someone down, I give them like a second when I catch up to use dead hard, if they don’t use it after like a second or two of catching up, it’s not there.
The only way it’s used right is when the survivor is very very close to a pallet or a window and need that extra bit of distance to make it, in such a case, knowing the survivor could have dead hard, you still take the chance as killer and swipe at them, if they don’t have it you’ve downed them, if they do have it, you’re not getting them anyway but still take the gamble.
In my experience most people just use Dead hard wrong where they extend the chase to maybe like 5 seconds more and end up going down.

A 3gen is a strong tool to win as killer. Mostly its the survivors fault for letting it happen, but are there killers who can decide at the start of the game to hold a 3gen and never leave it?
Strong contender for this are territorial killer like trapper and hag. But can they really do it reliable?
Which perks would this killer have?
And how map dependant is this tactic?
If non of the survivors are dead by the time there’s 3 gens left, you’ve pretty much lost the game.

From your description True sounds like your average killer player that thinks they are better at the game than they actually are..
i would advise looking at smaller Streamers, nothing stops you to just watch 5 mins and after that try another stream or just watch another 5 min. I tend to never watch those well-known streamers..
No to be fair, he's actually very good at the game, both killer and survivor. His ego gets annoying sometimes though, anytime he plays against a tough team, he accuses them of being sweaty, when the sound of his voice starts getting faster and anxious lol. Everybody that plays good = sweaty.
He also criticizes some people for doing tactics as survivor or killer, but then you catch him at times doing the same tactics. And as mentioned, if he's getting destroyed by a team, oh this map is good for survivors, oh these perks I have are not optimum, oh Survivor goals are much easier and quicker to finish. There's always an excuse lol. Honestly I'd be less harsh on the guy, if he got destroyed by a team and just said, these guys were very good, well played. But there's always an excuse for getting outplayed.
Credit to him though, he still posts those videos on youtube :-P

Is this not what majority of people said they wanted in regards to a change to the Mori for years, only allowing it to be used after second hook? Why is it getting so much backlash now? As someone who is typically more Killer Biased, this is a great change and a step in the right direction.
I play both Survivor and Killer. I've never used a Mori, ever and every time I see someone that has it I groan, it just makes the game unfun. So yeah I think after a second hook it's fair to use it.

I was thinking for Legion they could make it interesting maybe, in his frenzy, he could hit one player, and then he could hit another and if he manages to hit the first player again before the frenzy ends, then he downs him. Could be interesting.

Killler gameplay isnt to easy to come by. Most of the dbd streams or YTs ive seen are mostly survivor. obviously beside Tru3 Otz Tofu and a couple more. I enjoy the killer side ALOT more. You have more to lose as killer where as survivors and make mistakes left and right and still survive. A killer makes a mistake its 100% of the teams mistakes where as a survivor makes a mistake and its only 25% of the teams mistakes. So I enjoy watching the side that takes more attention and planning. This is simply my opinion and how i feel as i play both sides and that is what i see as a ambi player.
One person does not make a team.

Yeah that’s what I was afraid of, my internet connection is fine. Who knows if they’ll even solve this now since others don’t seem to have a problem. It started since they began experimenting with MMR.
