The first cat is named Shelby and the other is Midnight. Midnight was the first and he likes to sleep and eat a lot. Shelby likes to chill by that window. I couldn't find better photos. :/
When I saw Shelby's picture it made me think she'd say "You, a mere mortal, should bask in my presence." Or something like that =P.
Now I'm curious as to what the dog's name is. @Boosted_Dwight

Ooh, that's an interesting concept in needing to interact with something to lower the gate opening time. Could even be considered the frequently asked for second objective.
-
I love this idea for a killer. Especially with how the spirit moves the dolls through windows and such and is what hooks survivors. Such an awesome concept. Porcelain dolls have always been creepy to me so I would definitely be frightened going against it as survivor.
-
I'd love a new killer with a battleaxe that moves at normal speed. Maybe the scarecrow could use one?
-
Not sure if it counts as a double post but I wanted to break it apart to avoid too large a wall of text.
As for equipping certain perks to counter a killer. It's a choice the individual makes unbeknownst to the killer. Killers can see items but not perks, while, the survivor does not know what the next killer is so can't prepare accordingly. What perks or even what survivor you choose (example: females are generally more low profile) answers the question of what you have at your disposal to lessen or prevent being tracked. Iron will, urban evasion, self-care (healing stops grunts of pain), distortion, breakdown, spine chill (my absolute favorite), etc...
My point being is that stealth is a viable option in a great deal of situations and does require skill. If in a situation where stealth is not immediately beneficial then adapt. Attempt to break line of site during chase and lose the killer (is very much so possible). If you get found again then attempt to lose killer again or loop. Adapt to the killer.
In regard to being adaptive, or reactive, survivors can be reactive as well but it depends on you to make that choice and equip yourself accordingly. Perks like bond, spine chill, lithe, balanced landing, decisive strike, empathy, alert, and so on, can help in adapting to different situations. It might seem as if the stealth approach didn't matter but what is important to keep in mind is that the killers time has already been wasted before you've even attempted looping.
-
Stealth vs looping. Which is more enjoyable for survivors? Which is more enjoyable for killers? Ultimately, that is what this discussion is about.
Stealth is a playstyle but can also be a great counter to a lot of different killers that aren't Nurse. Barring some exception such as bear traps which would also require weariness. If they can't find you they can't hit you.
Personally, I enjoy playing stealthy as a survivor and it does take skill but I'd argue that looping does too. Stealth involves more than just hiding behind a rock. If you've been working on a gen the killer will most likely look around the area a bit. Killers will attempt to anticipate where the survivor is hiding or if they already ran off. Survivors can base this choice from how the killer has been playing so far or whatever the survivor is comfortable/confident in doing. Should I run, urban evade, or walk away? What would be the best route to avoid line of site? If I'm going to stay in the area where do I go that can block line of sight? Then watching how the killer reacts to a progressed gen and continuing to avoid line of site as the killer looks around.
What perks could this killer be using that could track me and what do I have at my disposal to lessen or prevent from being tracked? BBQ&C, hide behind gen in relation to where other survivor is being hooked, hide in locker, fake direction or stand still for 5 seconds after the hook then move out of area. Thrilling tremors, once confirmed killer has it, stop working on gen so it becomes blocked and doesn't stick out to the killer. Nurses calling, don't heal in terror radius. If small terror radius then try to spot the killer then head in opposite direction to heal. Etc... I don't want to go through all of them.

Wow, that's really cool. It looks like a pink and bloated Squidward.
-
I thought that Feng's technician reduced wll sounds from a generator being repaired
-
I wonder how many of the people here arguing in favor of Nurse argued against the Legion. The complaints are quite similar such as "game breaking" and "unhealthy for the game." Also, someone here posted that a dev stated that base Nurse won't be touched when it's also been said by a dev that she be reworked to the point she won't be recognized.
Overall, if Legion was unhealthy then so is the Nurse for the same reasons.

plz define "excessively"?
is maybe more DCs than half of matchs started? (if play 10 matches and DC 6 got banned, if DC 5 not)
They don't want it to be known what is considered excessively dcing as it would be abused
An example: I've dced 4 times this past week so I can dc 6 more times before getting punished
-
A streamer and swf group all rage quit on me for playing Legion. Went to his stream and clipped the part where they actually said they are going to dc to "prevent me from getting points" then dced. Reported it and they told me not to report disconnects.
*Shrugs* There's your answer. Don't report disconnects no matter the intention
-
I've faced only two decent Nurses on PS4 where they got more than a 1k. Almost every other time she gets bullied which tilts her who then tries to tunnel. When gens start popping the Nurse disconnects/gives up.
It was fun playing against the decent Nurses though my teammates relied far too much on looping when they realized this one can land a hit. As for myself, I'm terrible at looping but great at escaping a chase and hiding so I faired pretty well.
From a killer's perspective: I would love more methods that don't rely on looping to stall a killer. It's incredibly dull.
From a survivors perspective: I'm bad at looping and don't care enough to learn as I find it abhorrent. So, again, more methods that don't rely on looping would be great. I do well enough, as is, in trying to avoid chases but If I'm found I try to lose los and escape as soon as possible rather than attempt to loop.

@ElusivePukka I have a better idea: have everyone register with their Steam account and display the number of played hours above every post. If a 50 hour poster said something silly, it would be forgivable. But if it's someone with over 1500 h, we'd know it's time to ridicule them to ashes :)
Mine would say 0 hours played as I play on PS4. Good idea though.

Any game will have bugs no matter how long it is worked on. At least with DBD it is continually being tested and improved. For every bug that you experience there have been 100 more that were squished or are in the process of getting squished.
So, if you find one, please do report it in the bug report section of the forums.

Starting with all his traps wouldn't change what the traps do so I don't think it would be overpowered. What it would help with is the early game in allowing him to have map pressure sooner.
How about if he starts a game with all his traps but after placing them all he can only hold one at a time without add ons?

Yup yup, his name is Kabu. Chrono Cross is one of my favorites as well. Alongside Legend Of Dragoon

Hah!
I got you to give it away to a person who can't even begin to guess! 😜
That's okay. I highly recommend trying it out if you don"t mind PS1 graphics.

My Gizmo likes to lay on my controller when he wants my attention
-
@MegaWaffle What is that last picture of?
-
Oh no you're right =( shame on me. Also, go to my post in the off topic section called Pets!
-
No Haddenfield being mentioned? I hate that map

A little bit of the latter, but mostly neither: I have no idea what you're talking about.
It's from a game called Chrono Cross. One of the characters that can be unlocked is named Kabu who is a turnip knight that speaks in old English.
I've used his name or a variation of it as usernames and such pretty much since I started using the internet.

Today I learned. Didn't know that about cats. Thank you for sharing @My_Farewell !

My killer main is myself. I'm in the game you just haven't seen me yet. When you see the burnt spot in the grass near a hermits house you gotta use the ice gun and I'll appear.
I wonder if people don't remember or don't care. Hint is my account name - Kabu

What is your cat's name? @My_Farewell

My kitties name is Lila-belle. She's very spoiled and happy though she likes stealing food and running away with it.

Ooh a rogue Legion. Like Sasuke? On the run and you should be chased down?
-
It is of the utmost importance. Where is your pin @Plu ?
-
Oh man that looks nasty
-
@AetherBytes Keep in my that it would be an exchange. Removing keys is a big deal so I would still think green mories should be a part of that exchange. Even if they were changed.
-
Remove keys and in exchange remove ivory and ebony mories as they are. I think cyprus is fine as it is.
The best change to mories I've read on the forums is have them be an alternate way of sacrificing survivors that are on their last hook.
-
Ooh interesting. I liked stab stab stabbing a wall at the end of the game for fun so I see where you're coming from.
-
Legion for reasons already explored, needs changes. Leatherface, for sure, needs something. Buffs, rework, changes, whatever the poor leathery man can get.
-
Spirit was my first P3 and fully perked followed by Legion pre nerf

@Kabu Why, howdy 'dere pardner.
Perfectly balanced, as everything should be
-
As a baby survivor, flashlight blinding a killer at a pallet and escaping them
As a Spirit, finding multiple survivors on a gen, chasing them off and feigning going after the one who runs away while listening for the one who gets back on the gen. Then, phase walking while they are in my terror radius for a gen grab. So satisfying.
Survivors trying to gen rush and getting punished for it which has led to disconnects quite a few times. Best part is when I got called a hacker because they didn't hear me phasing despite not using prayer beads. Taught them a lesson about Spirit's mechanics =D
-
I love the one in Crotus Penn Asylum that is right in the middle of the field. Nothing surrounding it at all.
-
As a fellow PS4 player I'd love this. Though, I can see all platforms enjoying this as well. Billy would be another killer I'd want to practice with alongside Nurse.
Would be important to have moving targets as well as standing ones. A sprint bursting Meg and sneaky blendette in a corner
-
@Blueberry Wow, really? Today I learned. It looks so strange sometimes. I'll go for a hit and it curves to the survivors side. Better yet, on PS4, a survivor will turn little circles in front me during a chase causing my swing animation to freak out.
-
With that buff to no mither it might decrease the amount of slugging
-
There being so few of them shows what state they are in
-
On PS4 I get survivors who message me while waiting in the lobby so it's not just killers who are able to see profiles. At least on PS4.
