Those survivor builds are triggering.
-
This was just a poorly executed killer game. He made a lot of mistakes and gens got done with ease. Sometimes the survivors are just better than the killer as well. The game is hilariously easier for killers these days. They still come on here to complain about not getting their "deserved" 4k every game.
-
They weren't wrong. No kills, and you DC'd to spite them. "######### killer" fits.
-
This is where the killer mains write in their diaries.

I see that you always say that the killer has the advantage because "it beats you in loops, jukes" you definitely don't know how to loop to say these arguments. The SWF advantage is "a bit of information" Imao that little information destroys the killer's strategies and it is not that i lack skill, it is a FACT that SWF has the advantage. I'm not asking for SWF to be removed, needs a nerf.
I stated that if the killer is being beaten, not me personally. I'm not sure what you are on about here. I said if the survivor beats you, not the killer. Comprehend what you read, please.
The killer always has the upper hand, and Behavior has given them more and more advantages since launch. It is a lack of skill, no argument. If you can't catch them, that's on you, not them. You are going to encounter players that are simply better than you. The game should not cater to your skill level, you simply don't meet the skill cap.

In a game without any swf, neither side has the advantage and that is when it is balanced. SWF is the one that really has the advantage. I guess you have never faced an SWF.
lets say SWF was removed, the killer still has the advantage. While SWF is active, the killer also still has the advantage. See what I did there? The only advantage SWF has is coms and a little information. If they are good and outplaying you with jukes, loops etc, that has nothing to do with them being SWF, it's you lacking in skill.

Just because your team loses 90% of the time doesn't mean 90% of all teams lose. My team and I escape more often than not and we're just two people. Maybe the problem is you and your team, not the game.
Same could be said about the killer against an SWF.
-
Killers always have the advantage (Information, speed, easy to counter loops, doors in the walls now that counter any chance to gain distance besides using perks like lithe, dead hard, or sprint burst etc). This game has become hilariously easy for killers, and they still complain and get upset when they don't win EVERY match. A good killer usually does pretty well against any group, and bad killer the opposite. You are not going to win every game, there will always be someone better than you. This obviously applies to both sides.

Looks like someone STILL has not read the post. I was simply looking for an answer to get into the mindset of survivors that do this, since it gives the survivors themselves a disadvantage, and if they didn't know this, I want to help them. Please can you stop talking nonsense?
Salt..

Wanna bet? They're not all 4 mans, but at least 70% of my matches have at least a 2 man.
I would bet everything I have.

How are they triggered???
Spending time making a post asking why people do it sounds triggered to me. Why ask the question if you already know the answer. He is just spitting out all the built up salt in his mouth.

What happens when the only thing you face is rank 1 swf? That's the whole point of this thread, at the very top, survivors destroy killers. If you're dying as survivor, you can improve to the point of never dying. Asking for nerfs to killers will only widen the gap at the top, making killers leave the game.
That leads to red ranks sucking up the entire killer base, making life miserable for everyone except red rank survivors.
Not a chance that all your games are SWF, that is a flat out lie.
-
Another killer triggered by a flashlight. 😂
-
What loops? All the new maps have updated loops, and they are a joke. Even the new updates that added doors for the killer to walk through and smack survivors are a joke. The game is definitely favoring killer sided game play going forward. Playing killer is not hard, it's easier than it has ever been, and they still complain. They get bullied by a SWF Rank 1 squad and the game is survivor sided.
Can we just stop treating this game like an e sport, and just have some fun, no sweat, etc?
-
Probably one of the best perks out there atm. Gives information and increases gen repair speeds, totem breaking speeds etc. and Helps you vault faster in chase.
-
Spine Chill perk tells the survivors you are heading their way.
-
Having Supernatural would be amazing. I would definitely main a dean. :D
-
How is it broken if you caught him in a minute?
-
@DrDeepwound said:
Spine CHill should not have infinite procs though. Killer perks like BBQ you get 12 procs max
Perks like Alert and SPine Chill proc miimum 25 times per match, it needs to be tokened or something like Distortion is.
What? It has 12 procs because that is the max you can hook anyone in a given game before winning. You would never need more than 12.

Right, totally balanced. That must be the reason so many people have complained about many aspects of the game being abused right? And the game being popular right now? Sure, new DLC, more players want to see it. Hype dies off, and playerbase slowly trickles back to the usual players until the next. Not to mention, more and more people are questioning the broken state of the game daily and streamers even starting to question where the fun is. But sure, one of us is lying for sure.
A small minority of people complain about the game. Most of those complaint threads are the same people over and over. The complaints range from killers being OP on release, only because no one knows how to counter them yet, then we have the killer side who complain about not getting 4ks every game. The game even months after DLC releases is vastly bigger than it was last year for example.
This type of attitude reminds me a lot of the WoW community. Every expansion that sucks or is coming out is going to end WoW. Not to mention the millions of people who continue to complain about how bad the game is and still sub. 15 years later and guess what, it's still vastly popular even with constant complaints. IF you are unhappy with DBD, you are a minority, and likely take the game to seriously. Just have fun, if that is not the case, uninstall and be miserable somewhere else.
Streamers are just regular dudes, what opinion or qualifications do they have to judge someone else's enjoyment of the game? and as far as I can tell have no good ideas to improve it. Most of the streamers who play this game are toxic dicks who do ######### things like what is pointed out in this post. They aren't the voice of the community as a whole. This game was never designed to be competitive, it's not an e sport, I wish people who stop treating it like one.

It's the sad state the game has become, but the Devs seem to pretend it isn't happening. This game is literally losing more killers by the day, and the wait times show it. And the cause? This bullcrap. SWF abusing MM just to bully killers because 'they can'. It's sad that they spend their time on a game making others miserable, when some of us just want to have fun. But let's face it, fun left this game long ago. The only ones having fun are the camping killers and bully squads.
Game is more popular now than it has ever has been, not to mention the most balanced. Someone between the two of us is lying, I wonder which one it is.

If they go into the locker with DS active, what does it matter? Even if they were not in a locker they would still have the DS for you to eat.

It would appear that it has been deactivated.

Right, you almost can’t blame them for it either because we are HOOKED. It’s a tried and true method, get people to put so much time into a game that they feel compelled to stay even though it’s buggy or they don’t enjoy it. World of Warcraft is still making money selling pets and mounts despite its best days being LONG behind it.
You even see forum posts on a lot of game sites saying, “I don’t even enjoy this game anymore but I’m so invested in my character I’ll play til they shut down severed.”
I am guilty for game investment, I have played WoW since 2004, and sometimes I feel like I play it out of habit or obligation. I have never spent money on in game pets or mounts though. I don't hate people for getting them, but I hate that they aren't in game obtainable and they look better than what Blizzard gives us for in game rewards, aka reskins and different color variations of the same mount. (A little off topic, but a good example).

And you know what's sad? It works. The community STILL throws them all the money they have just for new content. As long as WE don't change our behaviour they have no reason to do so aswell.
I by myself stopped already and only will continue spending money when things change.
It's a problem in many games today. From a business view point, it's genius, but as a consumer it is pretty shady. Sports games is where I feel like EA started this flagship trend. People were paying thousands of dollars for in game players, cards for FIFA etc, it's insane what people will pay for in games now.
-
They are just evolving into other gaming company business models. If it doesn't make them money, they ignore it. They focus on cosmetics and chapters. I have seen bugs that were here in 2018 still happening. I gave up on that a long time ago, I just play the game for what it is.

well its like opening a chest near the killer... don't to it, just wait the killer to leave.
Yes, but the killer was coming there anyways because he can hear the gen, doing the totem changed nothing. Plus it's ghost face in stealth. Stupid survivors will be stupid. Potato life.
-
I had 3 red ranks tell me that doing dull totems shows the killer survivor locations and gives an audible que when I am working on it. RED RANK SURVIVORS. I guess this explains why no one does totems? 3 teammates literally surrounded me while I did a totem next to a gen they were working on and blamed me post game for alerting the killer to their location. It had nothing to do with the loud sounds coming from the gen. Even the killer agreed with them. I was in shock that anyone with that much experience could be so stupid.

Yeah but since there wasnt one yesterday i thought wed have one today.
There are dates on when all rewards are released, date and week. You can read it here https://deadbydaylight.com/en/news/4th-anniversary-event
-
-
You need to look at the dates for cosmetic releases. You don't get a new one every day.
-
I feel like since this event began I have seen more toxicity than I have ever seen in this game. I actually had 3 Red rank survivors say I sabo'd them by alerting the killer to their presence by doing a dull totem by a gen they were working on. They actually thought that the killer could see totems and got a loud audio que when you pop them. I am still shocked that Red rank survivors thought this was a thing.
Survivors and killer have just been really hard to have fun playing with. The events bring out the worst people.
-
I was a little disappointed when I got it on my Nea (My main) and it could only be equip on the ugly toque cosmetic. Guess I won't be using it..
-
Yeah, no one cares about Male/Female ratio.
-
Killer main using all meta killer perks complaining about survivors using meta perks. What is life.

Ah, it's a Provincial Holiday. Makes sense. Thought I came into work when I could have stayed home.

i dont get it, either. like if you hate the lisa skin so much just dont buy it, why ruin other peoples games just because they bought the skin?
It's the principle, not a "If you don't like it don't buy it" situation. That doesn't make the growing issue go away. No one hates the Lisa skin, they hate the money grabbing greed associated with it. It's kind of a loot box fiasco all over again, not entirely the same, but still. The skin costs more than a chapter. Cosmetics should not costs that much, people who are buying them are suckers, and targeted consumers that are making the issue worse.
This should not be hard to understand. A company is scamming you and taking advantage of other peoples lack of self control.

Healing is investing your time into future. While you healed you can waste much more of killer's time. So as a Killer I prefer you keep ignoring your injured teammates when they asking for heal. But as a Survivor I wouldn't want to have a teammate like you.
And survivors like you who can't see what I am saying are why gens never get completed. Potato's are funny.

@WheresTheGate said:
Intentionally run a killer towards other survivors hoping to take the heat off yourself, Or ignore another survivor that needs to be healed when you can see the killer is nowhere close I have a question.
Do you actually get upset when the person you screwed over won't take a risk to heal or unhook you during EGC?
While I will not sacrifice myself to unhook or heal another survivor I do attempt to play this game as altruistically as possible. That means I won't intentionally run the killer to you, and I won't unsafely remove you from the hook. I will attempt to unhook or heal you even if you have screwed me over. The moment EGC starts though one thing changes... I will still attempt to help anyone that hasn't screwed me over during the match. If you have screwed me over I will not take a risk to heal you or unhook you. If I can do either without any risk to myself I will still help, but If you showed no regard for me during the match why should I have any for you when I have the opportunity to escape?
I ask because I just had a match where another survivor ignored me while injured even though kindred was active and we could clearly see the killer on the other side of the map. The same person later ran the killer right to me in an area there was no reason to run to that area other than hoping to get the killer to chase me instead of them. This same survivor was on the hook during EGC and I made no attempt to unhook them. I actually got a nasty message from this person because I didn't take the risk to unhook them while the killer was still close.
Don't get me wrong. If you play that way it's your prerogative. You should have that right. I'm just curious why anyone would actually be offended when you get the same treatment as you give others.
Healing in some cases is a waste of time, if you can't handle the heat, go play rank 20. Stop wasting my time standing next to a gen I am working on refusing to help until I heal you. :)
-
I'm ready, but this is probably the least excited I have been for a chapter release since launch. Perks are meh, and killer is not really something I am interested in playing.
