You have to have at least one gen regression perk to have a chance, most of the good streamers I see run multiple, consistently. Corrupt and Deadlock are solid choices, Jolt on M1 Killers. Meanwhile Survivors have 4 free perk slots and can do just fine with any build.
dude............ theres people getting 1000+ win streaks as killer. theres no way this should be a thing.
-
I prefer original chapters, because they have more freedom to release more skins however they want and aren't restricted to just the licensed outfits.
-
dude, theres nothing that can be done about dc's. the dc timer is the only thing to be done, blocking the right to dc is horrible for this game. the game would be literal torture without it, also some people have technical issues with their internet.

No. That isn't required. The original statement was said to a dev, and the devs have access to the data.
Besides, this isn't anything that people (besides you) even argue about. Dead hard was the most popular exhaustion perk in my games by a lot, and I'm sure that at the mid to high MMR range, it was definitively the most popular exhaustion perk. Unless you want to provide a counter argument, by claiming some other exhaustion perk was more popular, then you're not even attempting to make a good faith argument.
dh is now super limited and is significantly weaker, if you are struggling with dead hard now its 100% a skill issue.

Whatever the anniversary killer is gonna be, i'm expecting someone somewhere to be disappointed about it.
i dont blame them, bhvr has been on a really awful streak of horrible changes lately.

comp in dbd... lul
-
they wont quit until 2 survivors automatically spawn on the hook at the start of the game.

Because patch 6.7.0 shouldn't be released. It seems like the first time when both survs and killers agreed that changes are bad. But killers suffer more from this patch.
survivor got the worse
-
this entire rift sucks in my opinion. the only thing i like in it is the mikaela recolor skin.
-
i wouldnt feel any type of way if she got removed from the game. she is an abomination, and should be deleted from existence.
-
Lithe, WoO, Resilience, Spine Chill. Spine Chill only because I am hearing impaired and I require it and the new heartbeat sucks in comparison.
-
couldnt agree more, pip downs make everyone more frustrated and causes more toxicity within the community.
-
dude, dead hard is borderline trash now.

Solo Survivor has been playing very comfortably since the HUD implementation. If you have trouble with treatment, why not bring a combination of Self Care and Botani or Bond?
Also, if you think it's so unbalanced, why don't you play Killer once in a while?
you couldn't be more wrong lol, solo survivor is still miserable.
-
killer actually is at its easiest

Yeah, the fact that there is a tome for the next month or so that encourages people to play as Dull Merchant has me considering an extended break from the game. Genuinely don't think that I've ever had a fun or exhilarating match against a Skull Merchant - win or lose, they've just been a pain.
this 100%

DH isn’t weak.
it is now

killer main, decides to come here and complain about survivors being too strong (false) to start a torch & pitchfork riot to get more survivor nerfs started. Nothing to see here folks, just another killer main pretending survivor is a breeze.
-
ive played like 8 clowns today all playing with the same purpose, to make us suffer in every possible way imaginable. this update is a complete abomination.
-
even the slight sound the lullaby makes is still heard, hard of hearing people deserve to slightly hear/see the same thing.

IW is fine the way it is.
no
-
yeah the exhaustion aspect ruined the perk lol
-
I suffer from this playing survivor due to killers being too strong currently. Solo q survivor literally gives me grey hairs on the daily and i dread queuing up.
-
intended
-
same, i get atleast 5+ weskers per session and its annoying
-
nah, people shouldnt be forced to play when they dont want too.
-
one of the only counters to nemmy you mean? no definitely leave as is.
-
killer is just in a better place than survivor currently.
-
the game is actually more killer sided, but ok.
-
2019
-
if the healing changes make it to live unchanged I swear to god the game will die.

For survivor veterans? Boredom
For killer veterans? Anger at how unbalanced the game is
In general? Lack of a sense of progression, aka hiding mmr/lack of rewards. People like to be able to flaunt "I'm plat rank ect". Seeing goals to work towards gives people purpose.
Boredom for survivors? no. It gets rather lame dying every match because killer is busted lately.
-
i honestly wish console had it

It already was nerfed showing itself.
You can always do bones throughout your game and will never see NOED.
If you know it and fear it, do totems. If you don´t, don´t complain.
not in this current meta, its already near impossible to escape as a solo q survivor. your chances of escaping is shambles if you do anything but try to sit on a gen. noed needs reworked/nerfed bad.
-
Worst killer in the game to play against. I instantly die on first hook if i know its a SM. Every match is the literal same and i couldnt be asked to play for 45 minutes just to lose.

"I suck at using DH and so it shouldn't be nerfed"
I use DH every game, and I run into it every game I play killer. It needs a nerf yesterday.
"Medkits"
Medkits are far too efficient. I've done a thread explaining this before. A single medkit with two heals is more efficient than a BNP for the survivor team. Survivors don't only need medkits when they "win" a chase. There's also SWFs rotating to take a hit, then resetting in seconds with medkits to do it again.
"PR"
Although I'm not a huge fan of this change, I like that they at least made it so it incentivizes spreading hooks. The slower healing alone may do wonders for the speed at which gens get done.
"COH"
It's gonna be a very strong perk still, considering healing is slowed down further. COH creates a beacon for survivors to regroup and reset much faster.
if u think CoH is still going to be good and used then you have zero clue what the hell you are talking about and absolutely nobody should take you serious.
-
yeah, now CoH & DH will never be used.

Alright yall, the proposed changes have finally broken me.
I've been playing DBD for quite a few years now and have always been able to find some way to make it fun or enjoyable. In the past I've mostly run altruism/healing builds with We're Gonna Live Forever being probably one of my favorites.
My enjoyment of the game started going downhill around when the big perk change happened. I feel like some things were changed for no reason for the worse (Calm Spirit comes to mind). But it has also been on a steady downhill since then with the 2 most recent killers being not enjoyable or down right boring to play against.
The game meta was also very unfun for me, devs letting Eruption run rampant for the longest of times before devs even acknowledged it and running Dead Hard has never been very fun for me. It feels like it's necessary as a perk but I also feel as though I wont improve at the game itself when I'm using it so it's a lose/lose.
At the same time as all of this has been happening, camping and tunneling greatly increased after the big perk change which means you have a 25% chance as survivor to just not get to play the game from the outset. And even when you are in the 75% that don't immediately get tunneled out of the game, your solo queue teammates do absolutely nothing, urban evading around the edge of the map and wasting a ridiculous amount of time healing with Self-Care.
This brings me to the reason I have finally decided to leave, the proposed Dead Hard changes. I will not sit here and say that Dead Hard is healthy for the game, but the idea of a perk like it does not go well with how DBD is played anyways. These Dead Hard changes just encourage unskilled killers to tunnel people off of hook even more, it makes me feel as though they should have just removed basekit BT (which I remind you was a band-aid to the tunneling problem in the first place).
tldr:
Dead Hard changes will ruin the game even more and I'm finally leaving.
yeah, ill be quitting as well.

Survivor entitlement where? Your comparing a few small killer nerfs to some pretty huge survivor nerfs
couldn't be said any better
-
man this game just keeps getting worse on the survivor side.

@VideoGameMage said:
That's what I also realized. People are excited about the healing and gen regression nerfs thinking it will lead to a chase oriented meta but they left gen progression perks unchanged.
because even with prove thyself im 85% of the time doing gens alone since im a solo q gamer. gens already take too damn long now as is, they need to leave prove thyself alone.
-
dh isnt balanced its trash, its barely going to get usage and now sprint burst will be in every single loadout.

There’s a difference between nerfing a perk and deleting it.
People use Circle of Healing for self healing. It doesn’t do that anymore so everyone will immediately drop it.
People use Pain Resonance for consistent slowdown all match. Now that it can only be used four times people will immediately drop it.
People use Dead Hard to compliment a more aggressive chase-oriented playstyle. Now it forces an altruistic playstyle and won’t even get value if you’re consistently being chased people will immediately drop it.
People use Call of Brine because its the perk that has a fastest regression speed. Now that its regression speed is much less noticeable and its outclassed by another perk at max value people will take it out their builds ASAP.
This patch is pretty extreme and seems like they want to force a full meta shift instead of trying to open up different varieties of playstyle. Nerf the strong perks and buff the competition for variety don’t nuke the strong perks and force people to find another stale meta of the scraps leftover.
Yep, I will be forever removing Dead hard and CoH from all my perk options. They took these nerfs way to far, they are both absolute shite now.
-
Nobody will use Dead Hard thats for sure, time to go back to Sprint Burst lol.
-
Well its official, CoH is truly dead now.
So is Dead Hard, literally who would use this now? lol
-
new iron will sucks.
-
shes an abomination to play against thats for sure.
-
survivor is far from easy, obvious bait.

Overpowered af. People trying to justify it are incredibly laughable. Perk literally erases all your pressure and potential to snowball just because they finished the last gen allowing them to greed the last gen when injured especially when Resilience and Dead Hard reward not healing. Also ridiculous in SWF who can coordinate gens appropriately or when multiple of them have it. Perk should not heal a health state, Adrenaline robs you of so much pressure and snowball potential just because of that.
skill issue
