I see her average amount.
Remembering that there is 27 F'ing killers atm, every killer is rare to play lmao.
-
Rework damaging generators so that every kick causes 5% regression.

Entitled killer player? You didn’t follow the killers rule book? BM.
(:

Just watched a streamer bm and tease low rank killers by smurfiung. There was no way they should have had the killers they were getting without side loading new accounts (the 3 swf buddies) to cheat mmr, or spending their life de-ranking off stream.
I know, these are the worst who encourages such behaviour. There is a ton of videos like this. Not gonna name the streamer or YouTuber, but it’s pretty obvious. I don’t see the joy in doing this, but still the comments are filled with people making fun of the killer.
I try to watch streamers or YouTubers who actually have honest play styles.
-
I live and play with the golden rule in mind.
“Treat others the way you want to be treated yourself”.
I never BM or play toxic. If someone bully me I don’t go and bully another person. Grow up and be kind :)

Agreed and it should be disabled during EGC

I don’t think they changed it, no.

For me, Doctor is very underrated. On the other side, Oni is incredibly overrated.
I love Doc. His static blasts gets you into chases instantly and shocks counter loops very effective. He is very good when played correctly.

The issue with the old keys was a single key allowed multiple survivors to escape. It wasn’t uncommon for survivors in a swf or even savvy solo survivors to just follow the key holder after the killer closed a hatch and all escape down it for an easy win at that point.
The new version of hatch where it only spawns when only one survivor is left is probably a little weak, I agree. It could spawn when all the gens were done, BUT in that case I would also make it so:
- it spawns closed and only opens when one survivor is left
- And if a survivor uses a key the hatch lets only that survivor escape and then it immediately recloses behind them. So the key is only an easy escape at that point for the survivor holding the key, not everybody else.
I’d be ok with that system as a killer personally. 🤷♂️
I agree with this!
The problem was not the hatch spawning itself, it was a whole team escaping before the end of the trial.
-
When they reworked the hatch they should also change the challenges.. I believe that the Devs are laughing at me now for not doing the "Escape through hatch"-challenges earlier. I always felt they were toxic and I didn't like to bring a key to end the game early just my own sake. Now these challenges are almost impossible.
-
Underrated: Billy. He is so good in the right hands, even with the overheat.
I also agree with Clown from the above comments. He can be really scary and snowballs fast. Most people see him as bottom 3 killer.
Overrated: I don't know if there is any. Some would say Hag and I can agree with what they say, but I rarely play or play against her so I can't say that she can be slotted in as overrated in my books. Meeting a good Hag is very difficult, like Michi - it's insane.

If your opponents had a bad match, you shouldn't be able to write GG. Kappa.
I obviously meant in a toxic way. The game just knew that..

“GG” was censored for me the other day

The game according to Survivors:
Killer Meta? EVIL! Nerf it! No META should survive! Force the Killer to use subpar perks via nerfing! Nothing should be effective! If it works; it should be nerfed!
Survivor META? Should only change if we're given better perks! Only ever make Survivor meta better! 🙃
You truly believe that is the consensus of this forum and community?

What is this supposed to mean? You only ever get four scourge hooks, regardless of how many scourge hook perks you bring.
Really? I was sure it added up. My bad then.
I feel every hook on the map is a scourge hook when facing a killer with this perk.
-
Equip 2 scourge perks and you are fine
-
I use map offerings often, not for a beneficial way but to make sure I don’t go to Midwitch or RPD. Those maps are the worst and I’d rather die on first hook then to play on them.

100 Solo Queue Red Rank Survivor Games Over the Last Couple Weeks — Dead By Daylight

Like you mentioned, it almost always feels like its more your teammates than the Killer that is causing you to lose games. Survivors insta DCing/Suiciding, not doing anything, hookbombing, etc. but if the survivors had any sort of brains, the games were pretty easy.
60+% escape rate, running Kindred/Resilience/Small Game/Spine Chills at Red Ranks. Not even playing selfish. Always tried to take pressure off survivors with lesser health states, working generators instead of hiding when team numbers dwindled.
It's weird that there are people who doubt players who have OK escape rates as if that's impossible(like Bwsted and Marigoria in this thread). I've seen so many people who claim to never be able to escape and that having 50+ escape rate is complete bullshit... THOSE are the people I want to see stream. I don't care about your 70% escape rate OP, but THOSE people who NEVER ESCAPE. They're the ones I want to see play.
Feel free to watch me then, I don’t think anyone else will. I die 7/10 times while playing solo. I feel like I have to bring DH to even stand a little chance.

Do survivors slow down gens or stop looping when the killer is struggling? Do they give the killer free kills if the game was easy?
They're not entitled to anything. If there's a DC then that's their own d*rn problem.
I do those things :)

Thank you so much for this!

Hillbilly is still strong, you just have to use your head a little bit in terms of chainsaw usage.

What timezone do you play in?

Great to see you returning. Facing more Legions and GF's will be good - I wish everyone welcome!

Anyone who has performance issues on any platform is free to post it on here.
Elden Ring is very very well optimized.
Can you post any clips?
I actually booted up and played some rounds one night on my PS4 again when I was away at my cabin last weekend.
Still the same problems that I had 2 years ago that made me switch to PC. I don't know if this is just a PS4 that hasn't been used in a while but I'll post it nonetheless.
When I play survivor it laggs/spikes when
- I get hit by a killer with Sloppy butcher, so the effects shows up
- Whenever I fall asleep when vs Freddy
- When I dead hard
- At the moment a exhaustion perks activated
- (Probably more, but these are the ones that comes to mind)
When I play killer it laggs/spikes when
- Bloodlust activates
- When I hit survivors with sloppy butcher
- Traversing underground with Demo
- Sometimes when speedbursting after uncloaking with Wraith
- (Probably more, but these are the ones that comes to mind)
-
Myers.
It's long overdue and what wouldn't be more perfect than a Myers rework/slight buff than making it at the same time as Haddonfield rework.
-
I think it is because you've played the game too much and therefore are nok spooked by it anymore. I remember my first game, I thought it was so scary haha. Now, nothing is scary because the game is just a routine..

Basically, yeah. That's how I want to play, and I see no issue with it so I will continue to play like that.
You know you can just camp survivors in the bot mode right? There you also don't have to face CoH :)

The aura even gets revealed without BBQ equipped afaik. It’s pretty much always after booking someone.
so to OP: it’s actually best if you at least play the game normally until the first book, then go to the glyph and search for it (still moves) and after that continue to play the game. That way you get even more BP and you don’t waste an entire match for you or the survs 🤷♂️
How do I book someone? hehe ;)
But yeah, it's very easy - much easier than survivor glyphs. I especially hate the white one. That glyph you really have to throw the game.
-
I would not call this a rant, it's actually pretty interesting that they removed.
But for Propnight, the game is not a big game I believe, when I look at the Steam charts Propnight peaked at 2500 players in March while DBD average at 34000 players. I remember trying the game and the queue times was insanely long. This might've been a reason for them to remove it.
Then again, good for the player base if they are happy with the change.
-
I think there should be a cooldown after the Boon is snuffed by the killer. 40 seconds should be enough.
-
Maybe he had 99'd his power before T3? In that case I can understand him.

Which IS INTENDED (by the devs to please the masses at the expense of the minority) but still stupid. As ridiculous as it sounds.
Yup. I'd rather wait a minute then to play an unbalanced game.
Sadly - the queue times needs to be held down because that is a reason for a lot of people to not play this game.
-
@Zozzy said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2864904#Comment_2864904
No. You balance around the top 30% and let sbmm do the balance work. That's what it's for... To put good against good and bad against bad. Then when the bad get good and figure out what to do they still have a decent game to play instead of an unbalanced mess.
Well, as we know - SBMM does not work as intended because it prefers short queue times over actual skillrating.
-
@Zozzy said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2863298#Comment_2863298
You can't... and that's why this game usually has a wait time for survivor que vs killers getting instant lobbies. Anything you add to help the bad players is abused by the experienced players.
I agree with that and I do see the problem, but nonetheless - I believe that if you balance the game around the tier players it will be more devastating for newer players.
If the game was "bigger" you could make an argument for ranked and casual game modes.
-
@Zozzy said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2862621#Comment_2862621
Then why do you want them to balance around new players?
I don’t.
I want them to try and balance around as many players as possible. Like they are trying to.
-

You don't think tournaments are evidence?
You really think a clown or wraith is going to win against equally skilled survivors?
By your logic we should balance the game around tournaments? Smart. Balance around 1% of your player base.
Your second point is exactly my point in an earlier post. A skilled Wraith or Clown are most likely not going to win vs a team of skilled survivors. A newer Wraith or Clown can easily win vs a team of new survivors.
-

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2861813#Comment_2861813
Why does that matter ? The interesting thing about human beings is they have the ability to learn and get better. mmr is in the game to sort the good killers and keep them away from bad survivors, giving them a chance to learn the game and improve. It does the balancing for you!
So sick of people bringing up the terrible argument That bad people are bad and that the dev's should cater to them like they won't get better or there isn't a skill sorting system attempting to be added to the game.
You also don't need the finest decision making or skill set to win as survivor either.. you already have the numbers and resources. It all comes down to holding m1 on a gen or wasting time and getting your team killed.
My point matters because there is no correct or 100% objective answers to the question "Which side is the strongest?". I think all these threads pretty much shows that.

IF this game had a working matchmaking that doesn't excuse itself everytime queue times get a little too long.
But it doesn't so you can pick nurse as "pro" and expect pro survivor for a hard right tbut instead stomp on noobs or you pick wraith as a beginner and hope for other beginner but instead get curb stomped by aforementioned veteran survivors.
Both not fun in addition that killer is already more mentally demanding/exhausting than survivor for the majority.
Totally agree with you. Sums up a big problem this game has!
-
@fulltonon said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2861813#Comment_2861813
Yeah, that's the reason why nurse is the weakest killer and she should be buffed, right?
I actually believe this game is pretty balanced. At least as balanced as a game like this can be.
We don’t need every killer to be just as powerful as the other one.
Nurse is bad for beginners and Godlike for veterans who has learned her.
Wraith is good for beginners but struggles vs experienced players.
This is how the game should be.

Still survivor sided at high mmr solo q
Just watch streamers and you will see it game after game after game.
Well - the game is not only high mmr though is it? Do you believe streamers accounts for the largest part of this community? In that case - look at Otz 😂

My solo q teammates enters the room - now it’s killer sided.

How do you people still think Spirit is a 50/50? You really don’t have to like her, but you at least have to acknowledge she’s balanced now.
Spirit is in a really good spot right now. It’s super fun to get chased.
-
I really enjoyed this, spot on! 😂
-
It doesn't seem to be much correlation between strong killers and your tier list. There is some, but for the most part it is just random.
Fun is also purely subjective.
I'll rephrase your title: "Why don't I like to play vs strong killers?"
