5 stacks of flan. got camped to death and got a grand total of 15k BP...
I will no longer be using any flans this event unless I play killer
You will most likely get a buttload of cakes. One downfall or even multiple shouldn't stop you from using them anymore. You'll still have an abundance of them when the event it over.
-
I'm glad I haven't been the only one who's noticed every killer trying their absolute hardest.
Maybe it'll slow down once it's been a few days into the event.
-
Just a friendly reminder that this is your reward for using your cakes. USE THEM!
I hope DBD Devs choose to make them expire so that people will stop being annoying about it.
-
There's no point in stacking your cakes up if you're not going to use them. Just be cordial an use them.
-
If you don't have gen rushers you win, if you do... you most likely lose. If you use a build to slow down gens it gets "boring"
... if they nerfed gens then using these specific perks would slow them down even more and make matches unbearably long.
You really can't win in this situation. There's honestly very little they can do about stuff like this... it's hard to balance an asymmetrical game.
-
I only ever suicide when I notice my teammates when I'm on the hook are doing literally nothing. Solo que just sucks sometimes. Edit: Sucks most times
-
I just used like 3 rpd badges in a row yesterday but that was only because i was getting tired of seeing the basic maps
-
$15-20 USD maybe? I think the conversion rate of money to auric cells is too expesnive imo, so I limit my purchases with this game.
DLC counting to the outfits, it can get extremely expensive... I mean two outfits of very rare status is $20 usd. Sucks because I like the outfits too, just far too much for me.
Wish they'd put out more discounts or permanently lower the prices of outfits and do smaller discounts. Still waiting for the big anniversary sale.
-
I wonder when they implemented tea bagging, all I know is crouch spamming!!

Ive even crawled to the gate when a slug, killer closes hatch, it procs adrenaline, I am on my feet opening hatch and out the gate before killer can get there.
One of my favorite escape tactics LOL I always run adrenaline just in case
See but that's an incredibly lucky and rare scenario that most don't face... but I also want to mention that the killer in that case honestly probably just waits around thinking you're going to bleed out not paying attention that you're up with adrenaline.
-
@Tsulan said:
I´m not sure if you´re asking for the hatch to be removed.
Its a free escape if you find it first. But can be tricky if the killer finds it first. Best chances of survival are to go to a gate and wait for the killer to close the hatch. There might be sufficient time to open the gate and escape.
I'm asking why this scenario is even a thing, it's a time waster.

hey so i've played 6 matches on RPD in a row.
I would like someone else to take these matches pls
Omg I wish I played 6 matches in a row with RPD. My favorite map.

Bro really got left in the basement by his teammates and blamed it on the killer smh. Out of all the "killers should be nerfed" posts, I think this takes the cake for the most unnecessary nerf ever.
Literally no, but ok. I've already said it winds up being my teammates. I've said this idk maybe about 3 times? I never go into basement even when teammates are hooked down there. The only time I will is at the beginning of the match and i'm near basement for the chest.
-
No they aren't, speaking that a lot of survivors actually get rid of totems for noed, and some just because they want to.
-
@derppug said:
I really only play this game around 11-1 AM EST and I swear the game quality is so poor. If I play killer, I can smash each game without any addon and meme perks because the survivors all, generally, suck (, outside of Friday nights).
The same goes for killers at this hour, but at least the survivors off-set the bad killer (and make the game fun).
Anyone else notice this? What are good times to have good games?
Yeah... I've noticed the survivors around 7PM est start playing like they haven't played a single match when I know that's not the case, any game before around 6 PM you find quick games and you're teammates actually play somewhat well.
-
yes lets nerf the two most beneficial end game perks to make everyone die at end game yes

@sulaiman said:
Usually, people only run circle of healing, and thats not worth the risk of noed for me. If more people would run shadow step as well, it would be different, because the amont of times i lose a killer easy while in range is just wow.
I always run both of them

That because killers didn't tunnel you.
Oh I get tunneled all the time, which is why I run dead hard.

Sound like a personal problem if you can't blessed.
So who's the more ignorant one here? The one trying to help the team by blessing them or the one destroying all chances because of one or two bad experiences? I mean come on now.
-
@SunsetSherbet said:
And later you'll complain NOED is OP after telling everyone to not do bones.
No, because I escape instead of staying around.

@katoptris said:
If I goes down after a noed I'm going to sandbag you. If I see you blessing instead of helping I will cleanse every totems.
Sounds like a personal problem, not everyone is like that

If I catch you booning a hex totem with TOTH; im cleansing all the other totems, wait for the killer to snuff the one you did boon, then cleanse that one. Its painful to watch someone reboon a totem over and over again

BP and removing a killer perk is not pointless, it's actually 2 points.
No not the killer point part but if you want the points, just bless them with boon perk it's really not that hard

I'm just going to keep cleansing all the totems to get that sweet BP and not worry about end game instadown to stop me from escaping.
But that is beyond pointless?
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Ok, booner.
Sorry, but there's nothing funnier than triggering Mikaelas and Nancys.
But it doesn't help the team by letting someone not use their perks??? Are you trying to be toxic?
-
@bm33 said:
Nope, too many killers running NOED and it's easy BP.
But also you could just escape the trial instead of griefing the killers?? Noed is only strong when you don't escape the game like you should.
-
@ObservantOfTime said:
I cleanse every god damn totem I come across for those sweet survival points after single-handedly repairing 3 1/2 generators.
Just run one of the boon perks if your going to cleanse them, boon perks are high ranking perks for a reason when one cannot find them then they can destroy a game for help
-
Well I get hex totems BTW i'm saying this for normal totems, Boon perks are some of the best support perks stop destroying normal totems!
-
Why are players themselves playing against some of the most broken perks in the game???? What in the hell where is the logic?
-
@SuzuKR said:
Bless it before they cleanse it. That’s a you problem. What if they want the points? Or they have a perk that needs to cleanse totems? Or a challenge?
bruh, what if I am going to go to the totem, to bless it but they hop on it before I can?/?????/??

@Marcavecunc said:
You only start seeing red blood all over if you don't mend, running pauses the timer, so if you're in a chase, you're fine, it's if you stop running and don't mend that you're in trouble. So if you have troubles with the status effect, it means you're not mending and yeah, it's all on you.
You just comprehended yourself? I was in a chase and could not see, and obviously could not mend myself.
-
@GentlemanFridge said:
You mean Deep Wound? Being in the dying state doesn't dim your vision.
Yeah, it can be kinda dark. Map awareness is key.
Well I mean you are technically bleeding out as if you don't mend yourself you will go down into the dying state.
-
@AsherFrost said:
You don't need to see, I'm sure the killer who slugged you will keep an eye out so you can remain undisturbed 😉
Seriously though, there are a lot of random visual things like that in this game.
Well no, I was trying to do a tomb mission (90 second chase in one game) and the killer had me bleeding out and I was on the Plague map (don't remember the name) which is already decently dark, and so when I was bleeding out I straight up could NOT see where in the hell I was going

Oni is fun to play against. His demon dash is incredibly scary. He also had a awesome chase music
for me hag, pig, huntress, bubba and legion are complete snooze fests. They are so boring
These two killer really depend on your team. Pinhead and Plague can be fun if your on a good team. If your playing with potatoes, they can be miserable
Good god, the pig imo is actually incredibly boring to go against. Even if they're bad, you're probably gonna get a trap on your head and it's just so time consuming with the traps, it's just becomes annoying.
-
Because people take a game too seriously.
They need a new hobby.
Because they drink "Gamer Fuel"
Because they like the sound of their keyboard and just want to have a reason to type.
Because they have serious mommy issues.
Because they need to take a break.
Many things, most of which lead to... get off the game for some time and be nice to people.
-
Because I'm a survivor main...
I have yet to play killer for maybe more than a couple hours across all my time of playing DBD.
Just don't like it.
-
@Brimp said:
I mean... nothing will change as saving against a billy or bubba will still result in either 1 hook and a down or a trade. Disabling basement really only nerfs trapper even more.
I honestly don't think trapper is that bad, but maybe that's just my very unpopular opinion idk.
-
YES.
Even with just one bad player, the entire team can crumble depending on who you get in solo que with you. Every player and their skill level counts.
Even for someone like me who's seasoned at this point, you still have to use your brain to figure out what you're gonna do when you're in a chase, IF you get in a chase etc.
What door will you take if all exits are powered, oops you chose the wrong one here's the killer.
You get the point, it does take skill for sure. Maybe not a lot.
-
@Majin151 said:
Something tells me this guy gets hooked in the basement a lot but I can't figure out why
I actually do not get hooked in basement very often, as I've said it's usually my teammates in solo que that do. I stay away from it as much as I can, unless I have a rift mission i've got done and do not care about escaping.
-
I would say but maybe they just didn't want you to bring a certain thing in as killer.
but also I feel like only try hards would do this to annoy the killer, so I kind of agree.
-
First
Streched res is ugly.
Second
It's cheating, and it is a big deal
Third
It's basically a performance enhancing drug, not everyone will take it but one will use it and have the advantage.
So... no.

It doesn't matter with easy down killers or not, people should be more careful against all those killers but when they didn't it's 100% on them.
Guess it's time to make a discussion for DBD to make a new tip for the loading screen.
"If you're in solo que, and you're playing against Trapper, Hillbilly or Cannibal... don't go near the basement, your team needs you."

Removing basement is equal to removing punishment for downing in good loops, you are asking for it.
Yes, I agree 100%. Just not with the easy down killers. I am not speaking for every killer. It is rewarding yes we know this.
-
Oof scuffed poll and I can't edit the polls, but also make a discussion of how many times you escape!
-
@HaunterofShadows said:
This is why the basement is usually so close to a powerful loop. You can loop the killer at a shack or building for a while but if you misplay or get outplayed you get punished by one of the strongest hook places in the game. Also the basement is probably the easiest place to cause the killer's auto aim to go crazy and hit the hooked survivor. Aside from that trapper is one of the weakest killers and doesn't need a nerf in any real way. Bubba in general just needs something about his camping potential and I don't feel like Hillbilly is in general a fine killer.
I agree, it's a strong loop for survivors, BUT risky already when it isn't one of the killer i've metioned, When it is one of the killers i've mentioned, it's an easy win for the killer, and fault on the survivor right? But I don't do this, other people in solo que's do.
-
@fulltonon said:

You know, "other players are extremely bad but I think they shouldn't be punished" is weird.
Do you think every killers should be 3.8 because there is a survivor who gets downed within 5 seconds? it's your logic.
I never said they shouldn't be punished... I didn't even quote that and it's not what i'm meaning but okay.
-
Y'all aren't understanding that i'm speaking from a place a solo que person, I DON'T GO NEAR THE BASEMENT.
Let me requote myself
"But when you're in solo que, you're matched with other people that will not pay attention to where they are... I say this from personal experience of other people in my solo que, not because I do it myself."
-
@JoByDaylight said:
No a killer should not have any disadvantages to others.
Pay attention to where the basement is and don’t go down near it.
Looping in shack or main building is good for wasting the killers time but could be risky because you can end up in the basement. As it should be.
In general, the basement is fine. But with Trapper, Hillbilly, Cannibal..?
My point is with any killer that cannot down in one hit, the basement is already risky enough. However when it's one of these very easy one down killers, it becomes inevitable that the entire team will crumble.
You say to "Pay Attention" but when you're in solo que, you're matched with other people that will not pay attention to where they are... I say this from personal experience of other people in my solo que, not because I do it myself.
