  • Its bugged just leave when the gate opens or risk dying unless you have to go for a save. The sound for it is not bugged. Just listen for the bell chomes if you can count tjat way

  • Your playing wrong or badly, or just dont know the map yet.

Its a killer playground lol. I love getting that map. Yes theres a crapton of pallets. But most are unsafe. The worst thing about that map is going agaisnt survivors with balanced landing.

Also its a fairly new map. Survivors dont know it well and will literally run into dead ends or walls and its pretty hilarious. I average 3k or 4k on that map with every killer i use.

  • @indieeden7 I didnt know that but i dont think thats the issue either. But what i mean is closer to this. Theres 1 survivor left and i close the hatch after they are the last living survivor. Then they go to a gate and power it. It opens. Then i literally go to the other side of the map to do my own thing. 8/10 games the last survivor wont leave. They just sit in the gate area (waiting for me to pop in??) So that they can then run out or t bag tc etc and leave.

But lately i wont show my face so they literally just end up dying because the EGC Timer is bugged. And they refuse to leave only to sit at the gate and die.

  • The most complaying i see from console players are about the bugs. Lol

  • I play the doctor just to ruin any stealth survivors day. Lol

  • Yay i dont have to read his name every other post. And its pretty depressing if he is. But oh well.

As far as them deleting post. I think its basically just causing alot of issues. People who do want him vs people who don't. Which is nothing new. Maybe the should just add another thread where these kind of post can go because its annoying when almost every other post is "pennywise this/that"

almost feels like those chinese spam bots have taken over.

  • Honestly i love the map as a killer. The pallets are super unsafe and survivors seem to want to rotate towards using the pallets as opposed to using the rooms with stairs to loop.

Ive played as The Plague, Freddy, The Hag, Demogorgon and the Doctor so far on the map and havent had much trouble at all.

Also it seems most survivors havent even had the chance to play on the map yet so for the time being its mostly feast central for the killers since they dont know how to traverse it and stuff like that.

  • Its bugged. Survivors just need to leave ASAP they can. The sound for it is not bugged tho, so if you must stay for what ever reason(???) Just listen to the bell chimes. I dont play survivor so cant tell you how to count down using those. But plenty of people have posted on here about how to use it if you feel like searching.

  • Bloodhunt is the only time i show mercy. No moris in any of my games. If someone DCs i dont just auto stomp the rest of team. Ive carried an unknown number of people to hatches. For me its the equivalent of holiday season in game.

But i know alot of people do the conplete opposite on both sides.

  • The first video it definitely something weird happening there.

But honestly I feel like the last 2 are maybe more latency related than anything? There wasnt a wall when you went to swing for Nancy (and trust me ive clipped enough corner walls to know, sometimes the game wants to hit the invisible edge but there was literally nothing there)

With the teleport hit, there no other reason why you didnt connect. So thats why i think it might be latency. But honestly i dont know, its the only answer i can come up with.

Ive never had anything like this happen when i play the hag or noticed anything like you showed in the videos.

  • Best: Doctor and Clown

    Worst: Myers

Special mentions: Demogorgon. They did a pretty awsome job there but im biased to hearing eerie laughs as opposed to monsters

  • I mean hes nothing like the hag or freddy. By your comparison ghostface is another myers or vice versa except one can crouch and the other has 3 levels to the stalking. The huntress and plague are the about the same except one throws hatchets and the other vomits once her vile purge turns into corrupt purge.

Its the difference in powers that makes each killer what they are. You cant just classify one as the others because those 3 have teleport mechanics because all 3 mechanics are actually very different from one another.

Its a shame your not enjoying him but the way you make it sound its as if they were just reskining killers pretty much

  • I agree that how it currently is set, his portals are a little underwhelming.

Id much prefer if he could destroy them than if he could just cycle through them. That way theres counter play. If you placed a bad portal or one that no longer has any use, Demo should have to walk/traverse the upside down to destroy it.

In its current state i wouldnt really play Demo for any other reason than unlocking the teachable perks. His shred is cool and all but I enjoy the portal play much more than another lunge/pounce ability.

  • I dont play survivor but the obvious answer is David. But that might be just a thirsty answer... Lol

  • Dailys and sometimes if i see a 3 or 4 group swf just in case. Most of the time its a wasted offering which i dont even use.

I dont think ive ever gone into a game thinking

"Im going to make these survivors miserable"

I lose out on BPs if i use it. unless its a new killer and im curious i dont use one and honestly these days you can just watch them on Youtube and in much better graphic rendering. (I play on console)

  • Ive had so many survivors die to EGC bug lately. While it was hilarious at first, now its just plain sad/annoying.

    Let your survivors buddys know!

  • Farming is not a bannable offense in most situations. Only can be considered bannable if they are holding you captive and forcing you to farm along with them. Which ive only been in 1 farming match, 4 swf and they all offered cakes. I dont play survivor so i was happy to let them get their maximum BP.

  • I had to pretty much wait till late hours last night to get fast killer ques. After like 10pm (Eastern Daylight Time GMT-4) i was consistently able to get killer lobbys in under a minute.

    Ps4.

  • @Kilmeran

I would also think that too but i guess not. Times zones come into play i guess but I never like to get my head rolling behind all that. Too much math. Waiting till later during the hours i stated to see if ques seem to take less time.

  • @Kilmeran we both seem to play on ps4. For me i seem to find the quickest games around 11pm or in the am hours. Which is to say also odd since i would think the usual prime time hours are ideal. Maybe PC peaks since some have access to the game at work or school? We on consoles would need a sick(cool) job to get away with having a TV and our Consoles out to game. Might be an extreme case but its something that comes to mind. Lol

  • Its a shame seems most people have been dealing with toxic peeps on both side. I play killer only. Wont bring moris during event. If someone DCs i dont auto stomp the remaining. Have carried several survivors to hatch or gates now. Just trying to counter act all the negativity while still getting good amount of BPs for my less played killers.

    Spread the love people

  • Im getting the same expirience except im a strictly only killer player. Seems like some people jump ship to play killers for maximum BP gain. Also i know that a few other games have been dropping new patches so there may be less overall people playing.

I was playing earlier today and ques seemed longer, i assumed it was because school/work hours. But it doesnt seem like much has changed even at night. Ques arent as long but they feel about the same.

Least those are some of my speculations

    (Also ps4)

  • While i dont think your incorrect it also brings out the best in others. I know a few killers (myself included) who wont bring moris during event. If anyone DCs we wont just stomp the rest of the survivors because someones...(reasons?) Ive played maybe a total of 5 games today and one was a farm match agaisnt a 4 swf who all offered up cakes. Im not really fund of farm matches but I went along with it since they seemed like a cool group. It was probably my first match ever farming and I had no clue what to do so they would point and hint at me that way.

Another where most of the survivors kept playing really cocky so i carried the least toxic of the group to the hatch.

My last match a person Dced before i even found them? Guess they didn't want to play vs Doctor maybe(? Just assuming) so I killed one and let the other 2 escape while making sure they got a decent amount of BP for their struggle.

Not every killer is an A hole during these things.

  • I played agaisnt a 4 swf. All offered up cakes. Within the first minute i realized they wanted to farm. I went along with it. End game i recieved nearly 100k BPs. I think it was worth while.

While these events bring out worst in people you also have alot of goodness going around. Some people wont use Moris (me) or some survivors wont use their nice new toys from the x2 BPs.

Then there's always the opposite of the spectrum which as someone stated, want to deny as much as possivle to the opposite side.

To me i see this as the ingame holiday season everytime it comes around. You have your saints and your scrooges. For me the worst time is after the events. Where everyones back to the usual slaughter fest (both sides) and the ones like myself have an abundance of moris waiting to be used up... Just how it tends to go

  • Ive been itching to use some moris but for the sake of everyone enjoying the event im holding off.

Due to the double BP both sides get nice toys while leveling up so its often brings out the worst in people. After the event its going to be a rather sad few days for any survivors (since i play killer only) in my trials since I'll have an abundance of moris to get rid off...

For now this is the equivalent of holiday season (Least for me). Already have carried several struggling survivors to the hatch, ive put off using any moris for the duration of the event. All for the sake of those juicy BPs.

  • Thank you for the replies guys! I feel better equipped to make any future farming matches efficient and enjoyable for any involved :D

  • I bought him but have only played a handful of games as him. Only because im ranking up other killers which i do enjoy playing as and want to unlock their teachables for when i do get around to playing him. I dont really enjoy playing new killers with just their base perks because its rather frustrating more often than not. Or the perks are mediocre at best.

The only time ive gotten the urge to play him is when I get on the forum or reddit and see survivors posting about how scary/spooky it feels to go up agaisntn him.

I hope you get to vs him soon.

  • Lmao this is great! Thanks for sharing.

  • @Madjura

He was answering the question. In games both 2 sides it will always be an "us vs them" scenario. Doesnt mean they arent trying to balance issues on both sides or minimalize it. Because one side will always feel that "this change was made to make things easy for the other side"

And no not everyone feels this way. But as stated most people play one or the other. Not both. Even when playing both sides, some favor another. Ive never touched survivors aside from 1 game. But im also mature enough to not take things to heart when it comes why survivors think xyz is unfair or why killers thibk xyz is unfair. Not everyone can take that stance and thats where alot of the back and forth comes into play on these forums.

    "Us vs them"

  • I normally play consistently for about 2 or 3 months before going on a much needed hiatus. The longest ive stayed away from the game is probably 6 to 8 months but my shorter breaks only last about a month or two. It might be shorter sometimes but thats only because a game will be released which grabs my attention for X amount of time. But i always revisit this game afterwards. And it is always a much better expirience after ive taken a break.

  • Yeah Peanits said it well. While some members play both sides. Even more prefer one over the other. I personally play killer only, ive played survivor once and probably wont ever play survivor.

I just enjoy being killer and not being dependant on a team and also cant handle the anxiety of my poor game play being the teams downfall.

If i played both some scenarios probably wouldnt feel/seem as unfair as they sometimes do. But thats a choice I personally choose to make.

At the end of the day, it comes down to people being unable to have a civil conversation without attacking one side or the other.

  • They made it so they dont have to re invite everyone after every single game to the lobby again. So I personally feel that while the amount of people playing SWF hasnt increased or decreased. Its a much smoother overall interaction and this has had this weird effect on it seeming much more common than previously. If that makes any sense?

  • Dont really use ruin unless im playing the hag and thats only really because shes only lv 12. So I have little to no other perks I can use instead of it for the time being.

So basically i dont play with ruin. I honestly prefer gen regressing perks and the likes as opposed to having to depend on ruin. Which honestly is very map dependant or totem spawn dependant. Hate gambles.

  • Yes. Up until this change, survivors were able to have a low ranked create the lobby and invite their high ranked friends and be paired up with a low ranked killer. Basically giving some the opportunity to bully killers way below their skill.

Now theres a choice to be made. Do low ranks survivors using swf want to

    A) group with their high ranked friends and play agaisnt the high rank killers. Which means the high rank survivors would have to teach the low ranks on what to do and not to do.

B)group among same level friends and learn the game that way. Which would mean going agaisnt a killer in the same skill level as them.

The killer has always been alone. 1 vs 4. They have never had a choice of what survivors they wish to play agaisnt. It also elimanates boosting and is an overall much better experience for new killers.

I turned away from this game for a long time because being new and being bullied by high ranked survivors was not fun in any way or shape.

  • Last night someone posted about trapper being one of those killers who something seems to break every single patch. So most likely its another bug.

  • The most annoying thing to have to deal with is survivors that actually sabo. Which I expirience maybe once every 300 games as a killer. Lol

  • Most game time: The Doctor

    Most fun playing: The Plague

Then I'm bouncing inbetween The Hag or The Demigorgon when im not playing those other two.

  • As much as i loved old freddy he was more headache than anything to play as towards the end. Glad he was reworked. It was pretty silly having an 'unseen' killer when survivors had so many ways of 'waking up' and towards less skilled survivors it was mostly stomp city. Dont really find that much fun, but just my opinion.

Tldr: Loved old freddy, dont really miss him though.

  • But for the most part a big chunk of the people who stream this game dont really need the extra BP as someone else stated. The only would be so that they could now also max out everything for the Stranger things DLC. Seems unfair regardless of wether the developers knew about the event', having already announced it. The community is right to respond how they have...

  • I feel alot of peoples frustration with the map is that its an indoor map and they are unfamiliar with the gen spawns. (I dont play survivor)

As the killer, My only issue is the extra ambience noise that it seems to be plagued with. So much unnecessary loud noises.

  • The Doctor was my first good killer.

These days i only play him for nostalgia and to hear his laugh. The Plague is my new favorite.

  • @GrootDude said:

I’d just like post-game chat, it’d be nice for those of us that want it and people who don’t want it could just close the chat.

If ever implemented if they had the option for it be disabled from settings then I wouldnt complain. That way both sides would get what they wanted and one wouldnt have to deal with closing said chat after every single game.

  • I specifically switched from PC to console because i dreaded post game chat. Was mostly flame and BM city, not always but mostly. As a player with terrible anxiety issues, its a relief knowing i dont have worry about anyones comments after game. Wether good or bad. Wether helpful/constructive criticism or not.

So even if it was a simple GG or well played, id rather them not.

  • Exessive Teabagging and obnoxious vaulting? Think its the rushed action ones over and over and over. I dont play survivor so dont know. The latter I often ignore since I often assume its someone trying to get me to chase them on purpose. But sometimes its really unbearable having to listen to that notification sound as the killer being spammed.

At least the teabagging is silent.

  • Either im on this forum or on the DBD reddit for the memes

  • Aside from the achievement. I see none. If there was a casual mode thats where id play most if not all the time. But there isnt so instead I have to balance how much I want to climb at times because I for one prefer to find games in a fairly decent amount of time and to not always feel like i have to try extra hard to get at least 1k. And I also enjoy being able to play the killers I want as opposed to the few who dont get stomped outright at higher ranks unless i have optimal perks.

  • Ive had games where its felt like I was powerless as the killer, even while having been well equipped with meta perks or the such. Honestly i dont think the game was survivor sided since day 1. But sometimes you do just go up agaisnt those kinds of survivors.

Both the bullying kind and the not toxic type.

Till recently it was very frustrating. But I accepted that it only happens only so often and as much as it is frustrating, ive had the same type of games where ive stomped survivors. And just as many where those type of teams have made mistakes which have costed them. Sometimes you win by a land slide, sometimes you get stomped. Other times its a close match and somehow i still 4k. You have to try and take this game in strides. In the end it is a game and as much as id love for it to feel like i could of improved or done better, even me at my best has not been anything but optimal agaisnt the players ive faced. Theres alot of ways the trials can go. Just try not to take one match to heart.

  • @joan LOL. That is pretty one sided solution which would only serve to make the rift between killers and survivors bigger, and eventually probably be killing the game or its longetivity

Also why assume that the killers are camping if a suvivor DCs. Ive had survivors DC just from being hooked for the first time, some DC the moment they get downed, some DC after the first 2 situations but its obvious that its because the killer i choose to bring into the match.

  • @Rin_is_my_waifu said:

I would release doctor to help survivor mains git gud against certain killers and cure them from the urge of dcing

This made me Lol. Not that your wrong but please only release him if his crazy laugh gets passed on to some new killer. I think i play him these days just to hear it.

  • Been going around for a while that killers wont actually try to reach red ranks till right before reset or at all period. Ive never have gotten to red ranks and frankly i wouldnt try to because as someone said above, its a sweaty feast or famine tier from what I've heard.
