Pyramid has been mentioned several times and I think his perks are underrated.
Forced Penance is good against SWF teams which tend to tank a lot of hits for their mates and also this perk usually activate simply by hitting a survivor near another one. It is very good with Twins for example, I use it with them.
Trail of Torment is not that bad, you force the survivors to touch a generator again for disabling it and also i'm a big fan of stealth perks in general. Now this perk can even be combined with the new aura reading Knight perk by kicking gens.
Deathbound force a survivor to stay near the healed mate.
-
If they reveal you while they're almost marked just chase them without hitting them and activate the power again and finish the marking. You can finish the marking even in mid chase before they can reveal you again.
-
The "oooooh oh" of Felix when he get a hit sometimes is the funniest survivor sound of the game for me.
Bill is also very funny, I laugh sometimes when I hit him.
-
Nowhere to Hide - Good and fair, very nice against the typical stealthy players who hide near a generator as soon as they hear your terror radius.
Hex: Face the Darkness - Useless.
Hubris - Unfair, specially when combined with enduring and spirit fury, a perk which reward you for being stunned with a pallet #########.
Addons: Most of the green, purple and red are too situational imo, not consistent at all, the brown and yellow ones are just ok, the most useful ones imo and when the most useful addons of a killer are the brown and yellow ones it is not a good signal.
-
It's funny how the basement is the safest place in the maps as long as the killer doesn't know you are there, the place which is supposedly the most scary and dangerous. xD

If you dont mind getting teabagged and gg ez after they escape, that's cool.
I stopped worrying about the tbags and gg ez since I was 600 hours or less in the game.
-
That depend of the mindset you play the game. If you try to achieve a 4k at all cost it promotes bad gameplay, but if you play chill and just want to have fun chasing survivors (as my case) the gameplay is good. Unfortunately a lot of killer players are obsesed with the 4k and play like scumbags taking the game too "competitive". In my case is more satisfactory to hook the survivors 8 times and by winning chases and mindgames even if they scape than killing the four survivors by tunneling, camping and usind disgusting perks like NOED. I only tunnel and camp when they rush gens and I almost don't have hooks for obtaining a little satisfaction at least and for punishing them for playing like scumbag themselves.

It happened to me with a tree in the shack yesterday.
#########.
-
Fluorescent bikini Claudette.
It would looks like a floating bikini in dark maps.
-
To the bonfire.
In fact If I remember correctly, you can see a bonfire ahead when exiting if you pay attention.
-
Until I've read the Mod comment I thought that the map was simply The Game 2.0 that's the confidence I have for the map design team.
-
I'm also one of the few people enjoying him, in fact for me is more fun than Wesker. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
-
It's funny how this gif would feel awful and reprehensible if there was another survivor, but being a bald Dwight with that old free skin make it very funny an pleasant, haha.
-
I'm very disappointed with the release skins, only the overpriced legendary and full of recolors, not any "regular" skin like Vittorio.
I'm ok with his armor, but I don't like the helm very much, I expected for cheap skins for just buying a different helm.
-
Well, unpopular opinion here. People tend to compare him a lot with the Artist for his antiloop mechanic, but for me the Artist is way more boring to play as and against. I can't even explain why Artist is more boring to play for me, maybe because the Artist feel too sluggish? Ok, the Knight stop completely to put the guard, but you put the guard in one second or less in a loop and can continue running. Also he is very good in 3-gens and when you zone a survivor, even in a long loop, is very easy to achieve a hit because you can use the guard to break the pallet while you continue chasing the survivor and hitting him/her quickly. The main drawbacks for him are the indoor maps imo (well, like most of the killers).
I stopped playing the Artist when I prestiged her and when playing the Knight yesterday I had tons of fun with him, idk.
-
Keep running until you can zone the survivor, the same as artist.
-
Maybe a lot of them are from Epic Games, DBD was free some time ago in that platform.
-
Camping at the end of the match is ok. It is one of the few scenarios in which I don't consider camping something bad.
Also, it is the stereotype of any killer who want to get one more kill (sometimes the only kill), not only the knight.
-
I've been playing him several matches and for me he is fun mostly if you have aura reading perks for putting the guards more strategically to cut escape paths and of course he is anti loop by inmediately putting a guard in any loop. He is also strong in the shack, you force the survivor to get out the shack by putting a guard patrolling inside and a power anti shack is always welcome.
Ther worst things for me is the guards cannot be selected at wil and some bugs, for example in RPD the guard stayed still in one of the corridors instead of patrolling the path I created.

This isn't something we're looking to add at the moment. The rotating guards are a core part of his power. That said, if there is one you want to appear more than others, there are add-ons you can use to make them appear twice in a row.
Why not?
What's the point of having different guards with different features if you can't use them at will strategically in any given moment?
-
No.
Dead Hard is still a strong and annoying perk but it isnt as ridiculously OP as before.
COH is still strong, but the nerfs reduced its popularity a lot, you no longer see 2-3 COH every match as before, so still annoying but less frequent and less OP.
-
I plan to buy both but I'm buying the knight first, the survivor at the end is simply another skin and 3 perks, the killer have a new gameplay and addons aside the perks and the model.
-
I used to play Killer 90% and 10% survivor because it was underwhelming the little amount of BP a survivor win, specially in soloQ, but since they reworked the prestige system, reduced the price of the bloodweb items and put the bonus for the least played side now I play de survivor way more than before, now I play 60% killer and 40% survivor, more or less.
-
That's the problem of some maps.
Eyrie of Crows.
Badham.
Fractured Cowshed.
AND The Game obviously.
-
Tryhard is not simply playing good as killer doing insane moves and reads, those survivors of the chat were simply angry, a tryhard killer is the one who try to get the 4k at all cost, trying to force a 3-gen every match, camping, tunneling, slugging the penultimate survivor for avoiding the last one to get the hatch, always full meta perks and usually strong addons, that is a tryhard killer, being good in chase, downing people quickly and having game sense is not being tryhard. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
-
Strong Main Building.
Plenty of strong pallets connected to each other.
One of the worst maps if not the worst for trapper, an already weak killer.
-
Eyrie of Crows
Ormond
The Game
Garden of Joy
Springwood
Fractured Cowshed
-
One of my dreams for this game is the map offerings getting removed, I always found them unhealthy for the game, most of the times are used by survivors for abusing strong maps and some map offerings are never used because nobody likes them.
BHVR released the Sacrificial Ward as a counter offering for maps, but I don't like it, not using a BP offering for using the ward just in case someone is using a map offering is ridiculous, a lot of times nobody is using a map offering and you are losing BP for using that (mostly) useless offering. At least they should implement the lower chance offerings which were removed, removing the current ones and become the lower chance ones an ultra rare offering.
-
If BHVR choose to keep the original music for Trapper I hope they at least remove the old chase music from killer perspective and put the same chase music the survivor hear as happen with all the killers who received a new chase music, I always disliked those melodies when chasing a survivor and considered that doesn't fit in the game, and over the years I have liked them less and less due to the tedium of listening to them for so many years.
-
He is not OP but he is ridiculously easy to use, have strong addons and doing well against a group of average soloQs result in a 4k a lot of times causing the feeling of being very strong. I usually play Solo Q and he is one of the killers in which I have the highest percentaje of loses when playing against him.
-
Some killers being too strong.
Some addons and items being too strong.
Some maps sizes being too big and having too strong layouts favoring survivors.
Solo Q being an awful experience.
Those are the main problems in dbd currently imo.
-
She doesn't get outfits because almost nobody play her.
I've seen about 4 or 5 Haddies since 3 o 4 four weeks after the release when people stopped playing her for being the new survivor, I think the only survivor less frequent is Quentin and he is a licensed one, even Jeff is more frequent than Haddie. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
-
Since I started playing in octobre 2018, a few weeks after Spirit release.
Worst: A Binding of kin (Twins and Elodie), boring killer to play correctly and bad or mediocre perks in both survivor and killer.
Best: Demise of the Faithful (its funny it is mentioned as the worst in this thread haha). One of my favourite killers, good or fun perks (Corrupt Intervention, Infectious Fright which was semi-meta in one shot killers a time ago, and Head On), a cool survivor with a different type of female body.
-
Feng Min is not even the one with more cosmetics.
Meg have more, and Dwight and Claudette have almost the same amount, yes, that three original survivors are older, but Feng is also very old, released before the game had 1 year old (11 May 2017) and other interesting info, Kate have the good amount of 77 cosmetics and was released more than a year after Feng (12 June 2018).
There are a tendency of hating Feng just for getting skins like she is the only getting skns almost every time while specially Dwight and Claudette get skins almost as frequently. I even saw a post in DBD Reddit in which a guy uploaded a screenshots in which he showed that have all survivors but Feng like it was a prowess and the post received around 2k likes and several Reddit awards.
Please stop it.

This is partly why I was against a flat increase to gen times. Gens were going too quickly, but simply increasing gen times across the board makes survivor less engaging and leads to situations like this.
Instead, there should be a dynamic scaling system, that makes gen repairs quicker when survivors are eliminated, or slow if gens are repaired without any survivors being eliminated.
When the gen time was 80 second it was still almost impossible for 2 survivors to win with 3 gens remaining.
-
No, it benefict killers, easy free hits and a pallet wasted.
-
I'm going to play Vittorio, the only non licensed male survivor that doesn't looks like an idiot along with Felix.
-
Enduring, Spìrit Fury and the new perk with Exposed Effect of The Knight, I'm going to have fun times.
-
The bonus is almost always in survivor side simply because the game need 4 times more survivors for a match to start, not due survivor not having fun.
Anyway, at least in Europe there are killer bonus sometimes at night.
-
If you mean the ones i think, thay are the typical trash pallets to throw in middle of a chase to waste a little of the killers time by forcing them to turn a bit, I think they're not intented to be looped.
-
Steam is a better platform overall.
-
I'm not sure they had fun, specially that Rebecca with only 6k points and the second players with more points only 16k.
-
In my opinion he is bad against good players, good players dodge your power 90% of the times unless you use it in windows or very narrow places, the same thing happen with Nemesis tentacle. I like both killers but they feel very inconsistent for me.
-
I miss more hits with certain killers and I don't know the reason, with Pyramid head, Doctor and Pig I think they are the killers in which I have more misses and with Trapper I rarely miss a hit. Also, with all the killers I miss a lot of hits in windows, because I always have the need to try that hits, because when you achieve one it feels very satisfactory.

At least they have a bit of an excuse they have been in the game the longest.
Feng was released only 11 months after the release of the game, and I'm not sure but I think Claudette and Meg have more cosmetics than her.
-
6/10, if the maps were more balanced then would be 8/10.
-
Claudette, Dwight and Meg also get cosmetics very frequently but people only complain about Feng.
-
I don't DC in the moment I hear the first Nurse blink as some people do, but if the nurse is good and have strong perks I suicide in first hook.

Having Dwight dressed up as the PUBG guy or having tricker or having the current Halloween killer weapons doesn’t fit dbd, so shy can’t we have emotes
The emotes are way too much, the meme outfits are not that anti-immersion.
-
No, because you can let the killer kill you and end the match if you are bored of trying to repair.
