I'm on xbox. And lately I just been playing just for achievements considering the chaos mmr and rank and such going on. Well, I been accused of things. And not feeling this game and these forums. I'll admit i may seem to come off as an A$$. The way i make fun of things. But I'm not abusive. I just like to tease. (In a manner of speaking/expressing).
But anyways, on to the good. Like I said I just been into getting achievements done because I enjoy them. 100%ing games and such. There was one I thought I never ever would think I'd get. A whole day dealing with long waits and lag during this crossplay. Teamed with newer teammates more often than not. DCers most. And even game crashing. This one time I was 3rd to last survivor and I was doing most of the gens. There was a wraith. In Midwich. And the killer's constantly bell ringing. The first 2 downed, unhooked, healed,downed,hook over and over. Die off and I'm 1 gen away from opening the gates, the other survivor I watched with Kindred just hiding the whole time. Finally, I'm 3/4 from finishing the last Gen. But the wraith finally found me and I book it. But I get caught and hooked for the first time, I didn't feel I was in bad shape til I noticed the other survivor just standing close by but never moved. I go into struggle. And I'm fighting it off to the bitter end. The other survivor finally. When I'm near the end goes for the rescue. But I come to find out they were waiting for me to die because they found the Hatch. Dunno why the at the end went for the rescue. When they could had long before I was first hooked. But anyways, long story too late to shorten, killer knocks them and me both, wraith passes me over and takes up the apparent greedy survivor, hooks them. They die. Picks me up. I thought it's my end. Wraith brings me towards a hook. PASSES the hook and takes me to the Hatch. Let's me drop. Let's me CRAWL and gives me Hatch escape
Killer gave me
Outrun Evil.
The achievement I thought I never would get. I bout had a heart attack I was so surprised and excited.
Thought I'd share this story since the thread asked. Sorry for the length.

Pretty much why my only objective is doing gens as fast as I can. Let the others worry about other objectives. Like saving others.

Not really. Two identical Survivors with identical loadouts. One grinded the whole thing out, the other sped things up with cells. What is the difference between the two if they get into the same trial?
That's just it. One paid their way to getting those perks as the other one worked for it through playing the game. Paying for them just makes it easy for them to getting perks that are essential. Considering characters are just skins of themselves. The perks are what matters.

You ACCUSE me for being a troll over what?? That the devs having not added into this game a coms application but instead have needs for 3rd party voice chat which the devs have reason not to btw, to do so over what?? I stated that xbox has an app for these. Which also if I'm not mistaken through windows 10 users as said I cant speak of ps players. Where in this bloody forum is there any butthurt, except may yours, which again accused assuming there's trollish remarks abound?? You come in this post and jump on me for expressing that the comms issue is the reasoning for the devs to implement, where as pc has it, consoles don't. PC has xbox compatible comms 3rd party use through windows 10.

Yes. As long as you level them up. Doing so is "time consuming" so just buying cells to get them is essential paying to essentially win. The reworking of the shrine oughta to be truly rng not just devs restocking at their whim based on the rift and who's on the path

When did Clown get reworked? He's basically never been touched since his release. And the Legion update wasn't a "rework"; it was just a large-scale number tweak.
Clown was buffed abit. Sorry not reworked.
Legion was rearranged I guess is a better word. He/She use to down with FF. But still it being fairly recent. It's do6btful they'll be the ones worked on was my point

If you do a bit of all things you pip really easily and consistently. It's not always that you can complete 3 or 4 gens but 1 and a half maybe can be way easier to achieve consistently. Loop the Killer for the whole match also is just as unlikely but just outlast him in a chase for a bit is manageable and enough, same for altruism rescuing/healing one or two is enough.
But that's just it. Most times. I'm matched up with teammates that, like I said get downed, get hooked, rescue each other and I'm the one doing gens. And more often than not, the one who gets the GateS (both sides) open. Avoiding the killer altogether in general.
My inquiry is more of a "joke" because, since I dont pay attention to the pip system. I never realize if my game style is less of a pip than those others. My objective is to get out alive. But their getting downed caught and basically potato playing. They get more pip? 🤷♂️

So... in essence, if I'm more of the type to just do gens while most my team get hooked and unhooked. Heal themselves. All the while I done 3-4 gens myself. (It happens most often with this mm) that I wont pip up more than they would?? (Mind you I never minded the pip system, until this topic and your comment)

That last sentence of yours is where things get complicated. More often than not, it's becoming increasingly difficult to do so by the hundreds of other players who, aren't so humbled in their gaming. The competitive advantage is of the mindset that they're MLG Players they believe.
Rare to come across anyone in their own platform a player who plays for fun unless they already know the players they are having fun with.
But then again, I'm a solo player. With casual Tendencies. Who never learns to turn off texts messages post game 😖🤷♂️

I recently just wanted to do a daily. Legitimately. It was for The Clown who I haven't played as since before his "buff"? And I'm not really into this crossplay but I was going to give it a chance.
And..... 3 games into Crossplay. Me on Xbox..
I get this...
Why? How do you even lag switch? I mean I heard of this term but dunno crud about it. (Not to mention I only replied once before being accused as suspicious)
And they're still texting me after this. I had 1 stinking kill. And they were on YouTube apparently when they texted. While I was minding my own dbd business.
Are we gonna be getting accused of hacking and lagging now? I normally like to keep texting allowed. I wonder if anyone else gets this?

I was thinking of making a post about this subject.
But personally. I'm on Xbox. I don't wish to play across platforms. So I unX'd the box for crossplay. And I gotta say. Queues for matches are no different than before. Tad quicker maybe but no ling waiting period. Not seeing it personally
Edit: I can't say the same for survivor teammates though. Getting stuck with lower ranks. And I'm doing most (4outta5) of the Gens.

To be fair. Xbox at least has An App. With features such as Text AND Voice Chat capabilities. Cant speak for PS players but Windows 10 can communicate also through it.
I dunno about anyone else, but I tend to keep my phone with me. It depends on the person but honestly, who doesn't carry their phone with them anymore.
Use it as a way to comms. Xbox to PC.
Again, can't speak for PS Players.

Its not that easy. If he disables it, there is a good chance he wont find a lobby since most people will switch to crossplay.
There's bound to be a myriad of console players opting out.
But the devs seem assuring the queues will be decently longer.

I know I will be in the minority here, but as a 50/50 player. And lately have been enjoying solo survivor... 😐
I for one would love to do more than 5 gens to open the gates.
All things considering, since being a Kindred user. I just love watching other survivors... crouching and hiding,. Far in the distance. Nowhere near the Killer. Not doing gens.
To be fair. The speeds alone by hand and no perk or tools to help. To me seem pretty easily done in a fair speed.

Wendigo have been discussed before. And I seen plenty argue Hag is that fact. Considering her back story and cannibalism. Much like Until Dawn's lore of their story lore. Ojibwe, Eastern Cree, Westmain Swampy Cree, Naskapi, and Innu lore (Google).
Question is, since there is a Billy, and then Bubba. Would BHVR again rehash Hag for a Wendigo. Albeit, opposing to The Hag's transportation abilities. And her Mori kill. Which Mori Kills are hated for.
And still exists in DBD Lore and gaming style. As Demogorgon was able to run along walls in Stranger Things, even run on all 4s for speed. But in DBD was dumber down to jog bipedal and jump a short dash distance.
A wendigo by aesthetics would be A Hag mixed with A Demogorgon in this style of game play.
Although Oni just got a Minotaur skin. Still is Oni. So in essence, Demo would just as fair get a wendigo skin.

Considering that he didn't outright kill them off. Gave them a chance for a myriad of BP. Then didnt just finish the game but instead rub it in the killer's face.
