I like it just because it makes the time you have more consistent. Something to work with.

And wiggling shouldn't be stronger. Seriously, what is with all these posts that count losing a one-second-if-perfect post as some big deal? You're not meant to get off if the Killer picks you up most of the time. It's literally the last thing that ever needs buffing.

Not saying it needs buffing. I'm saying it didn't need a nerf and should be reverted.

This only applies to the baby brackets. Low-MMR Survivor is hard but Low-MMR Killer is easy, High-MMR Survivor is easier and High-MMR Killer is harder. I don't really think you've played long enough if you think Survivor is the only role that requires 'skill' and knowledge

I'm quite aware thankyou. I've played a lot of killer and my mmr on my favoured killers is pretty high. I'm often seeing players with 100s of days of solid playtime and extremely organised swfs. I'm still getting the better of them a decent amount of the time. I'm beating players who have over 10 time the play time that I do.

And through this experience survivor has always been the hardest by a fair margin. I'm not saying playing high level killer takes no skill. But it is much easier to be good with killer than survivor.

  • Yeah idk why they decided to take away the extra wiggle progress. It certainly wasn't broken. And this is speaking from survivor and killer perspective.

As killer I often had enough leeway to reroute to a second hook if one got sabo'd without my cargo wiggling free. As survivor there's something uniquely frustrating about hitting every skill check and not seeing the bar go yellow. Reckon wiggle disruption should be just a little stronger if they want to nerf the speed. Atm feels like good wiggle checks achieve absolute nothing.

Survivors dont have control over which 3 Gens the Killer wants to defend. I mean, sure, if your SWF manages to do that (not everyone plays in SWF) AND the Killer is dumb enough to leave the Gens which are easy to defend, yeah, you can pull it off.

But if the Killer wants to stay in their 3-Gen, there is nothing the Survivors can do. You can leave every other Gen on 99%, but this does not change the fact that at some point you have to repair one of the Gens in the 3-Gen. Especially, because a 3-Gen is basically guaranteed to spawn on RPD, often enough it is even a 4-Gen.

A killer forcing a 3 gen is risky when there are 4 players. They give up every other gen and even a tight 3 gen can be broken, 4 v1 is pretty steep odds. Admittedly if they are running decent regression then it can be extremely hard. Thing is you don't even need killer to fully engage in chase. You just need to flip flop them between the 2 furthest gens.

And yh 3 gens in solo q are awful, it's why I nearly never play solo q. And I've been suggesting all sorts of buffs to exclusively help solo q. Yesterday's update helps a bit but solo q still needs more love particularly at low mmr.

  • @rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr said:

they also added a new bug.. you cant see victors aura when he's attached to someone

No that's intentional. If the surv is trying to crush victor you can see his aura.

  • Twins for all their weaknesses are the worst killer(s) to come up against when you're playing for gate in endgame. I didn't know victor could body block the gate though.

I know charlotte can't. She loses collision after being idle for a few seconds.

Idk I've sab hooks and the killer just drops the guy and waits for it to come back... Not much of an advantage since we have two people of gens and how risky it is to pull off.. I agree with op don't bother with sab

Still buys time and gains them wiggle progress. Like I said it's extremely hard to pull off a sabo play and it should be. Idk if you play killer but losing a hook because of sabo plays is the most insanely annoying thing. Especially if it results in a struggle out

It's easy to identify thus the killer identifies it also and camps with eruption

Well it's no secret swf works better and solo q is an awful crapshoot. But you can still do it on solo q, even on solo q I always beeline for that central gen, you can often solo it if you're careful.

  • @ReginaldVonBartlesby said:

I've been playing the Twins for a while now, and I absolutely love their character both in-game and lore wise, but I can't seem to get good at them (1 sacrifice per 5 or more games, I dunno if that's good or not.). Any tips/tricks?

Most simple advice is play dirty. Twins are one (or rather two) of the weakest killers in the game. Unfortunately their design lends itself to slug play and hook camping. Solid regression is important because you spend so damn long picking up survs if you down with victor.

Utilising that adorable little hell baby is obviously central to playing twins. If you injure someone with charlotte, instantly disgorging victor is an excellent follow up. It's so easy to follow injured survs with victor because of the brighter blood and the noise. While he's attached he still reveals nearby survs not involved in the chase so you can use that to get free hits/avoid ambushes. But personally I don't tend to try hitting survs after attaching, they have ample time to make distance while you switch back. Can work sometimes if they are in a corner and have no option but to go back towards you.

But the other way I like to use victor is use him to monitor hooks. If you switch back to charlotte and leave him idle. He'll ping killer instinct on any survs nearby. Personally I like to run him with both KI detection range increase add ons. Gives you early warning of unhook to get on your way back and often survs will hide if they hear your TR so you can get an easy down if they don't rush the unhook. When you set him idle he does have a cooldown, the end of which he will disappear and reform on you. Switch back to him resets that cooldown.

You can also use him to pressure gens. Send him out to scout and pounce someone on gens. They will almost always abandon the gen and run away to get rid of him. While you tie up another survivor in an m1 chase. By the time you injure your chase target, the victor pounced surv will have crushed him and you'll have him recharged to follow up with him for the down. It's good pressure.

Bear in mind if the game goes south having attached victor to someone means they can't leave via gate, or for a few seconds after they they are downed. I had a bully team kicking my butt the other day, finished gens when I had like 3 hooks. I walked to a gate, opened it, dropped victor and left charlotte dormant next to the gate. Toxic flashlight dwight and a nea came up to look at my dormant killer and flashlight click. I'd circled victor around and pounced the dwight from behind. Followed up with charlotte, injured nea to scare her out the gate, downed dwight before he squished victor. Then he was sealed in right at the threshold long enough for me to pick him up and slap his butt on a hook and he went through all 3 phases. A very satisfying kill. 😈

Perkwise I always run sloppy. That slowdown is vital and victor likes it when you keep survs injured. Good regression and a decent aura reading perk, usually bbq. The add on for making survs broken when they crush victor is also excellent pressure.

  • It's about the order you do them in. Me and my swf always go for lower centre first after someone baits the killer into chase. It's the most dangerous gen because it's so central and visible but the most vital to get done early.

The problem is when survs spawn, It's always near one of the outlying gens. And more often than not people jump straight on the gen in front of them.

If you do the outside gens first on rpd, as far as killer is concerned a whole swathe of the map becomes dead space and they won't go there.

But if you get the 2 central gens done first then you split the map and killer has to haul ass to get between the gen clusters. Then you're laughing all the way to the exit gate.

  • I'm not a fan of the new version. Size is fine but having the main building squished up to one side of the map kind of sucks. Should still be central and just have smaller outside sections on both sides.

  • Sabo plays are supposed to be extremely hard to pull off. Really a successful sabo should only cause a carried surv to struggle out so the hook shouldn't stay sabo'd for too long.

For a killer having a surv struggle out is a huge loss. And as mentioned above most teams that regularly pull off sabo plays are remarkably awful to play against.

  • Know that feel. I get maaad sweaty teams when I play demo. But my less used killers still seem to be sitting at low mmr. And their matches are extremely easy.

    TOTALLY AGREE.

SWF and comms isn't the game changer everyone makes out. I've always played with at least 2 and I escape the same amount of time as when we played as a 4 man on comms with 2.5k hours average as when I play as a duo.

SWF is extremely broad term and there are huge degrees of efficiency between them.

Scott Jund literally just did a vid a couple days ago and he said he went from soloQ average escapes at around 2/10 games, then to playing as a 4 man SWF and his escapes went up to 7-8 or so on average - HOWEVER NOBODY WAS ON COMMS. It was purely that they were efficient and playing to a higher level. The comms weren't there so didn't affect anything.

SoloQ is weak as i'm sure we will find out from the new HUD because randomers are too busy doing nothing or the 'wrong things' in the game at the 'wrong time'.

Yeah it's weird. People always complain about 4 stack swfs but the game is designed so accurate callouts are pretty difficult to make. Bully teams need 4 high skill survivors to make things hard for killer. My usual swf is certainly competent, I'm the newest with 21 days play time and we have people who have right up to 225 full days of play time. And we still die very frequently. 0k games are very few and far between.

    Another role: The healer

His job was to run around and unhook/heal everyone. Nothing else.

    Then the Mechaniac:

His job was gens only. Everything else was unimportant.

Finally, we decided that one of us name a perk. Then, the others had to search for perks which somehow synergize. We had Potential Energy as starting perk once, and, of course, one round with 4x No Mither was part of it.

If we met a full tryhard killer, we just suicided. Our goal then: Killer gets under 20k 🤣

I've always wanted to try a no mither meme build lol.

  • @mr_Beast_Artist said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/361953/distortion

You need to make 5 tokens since the new knight perk spends these tokens just like that + I agree that the killer has several perks and for some reason each perk takes a token even though there is a time when you cannot be seen.

It is necessary to make it so that the survivor would write what kind of perk took the token from him or make 5 pieces, this would be fair

Nah 5 tokens is too much. There aren't many builds that aura read enough to counter distortion. Demo's iri add on, aura read huntress, wraith aura read addon.

Every perk needs a counter, and distortion has few enough as it is. Most games it'll work well and you never run out of tokens. Specifically nowhere to hide, you're regenning token as soon as it's spent, and killer will charge it more when they circle back to that gen. If you lose all 3 tokens to NTH then you're not going anywhere near killer at all and that isn't good play. Gotta take chase at some point.

  • I love hacker accusations. I always take it as a compliment to my skill and big brain plays. I've been accused of wall hacks on lery's before. I'm good at predicting surv's routes and taking short cuts to cut them off. Plus my headset is insanely good so I can follow those footsteps and pain grunts very easily.

I have to share my last evening with you, it was the most fun Ive had for a long time playing SURVIVOR.

We (4Man) decided to not run pure Meta, but to run "Theme-Builds".

    What do I mean?

Well, one gives another a role. For example: the Treasure Hunter

This guy had to use perks which allows him to search chests multiple times and create our own "Basement" of Items. It was the shack. I founded 3 Medkits, 2 Toolboxes, a key and a Flashlight prepared for me in the shack after I won a chase.

Another guy was the Aggressive Leader: He run pure chase-build and has to job to run into the killer every time.

Another game, we devided to run all the same, stupid, build. The "Peng-Build":

Flashbang, Wiretap, Repressed Alliance, Partycracker etc.

    And so on...

Even one killer thanked us a lot in the aftergame-chat for this change instead of 4x Deadhard, OTR, CoH etc. every game.

Of course, we just messed around, but it was so much fun, its worth a try for all of you 🤣.

🤣 might have to give this a go. I'd love not to need to run windows and DH just to stay alive. I'd also advocate people doing this on killer. I have a deathslinger meme hex build I like to muck around with.

Plus I oftem like to take the surv team right up to the brink them make friends. I'll play normally, and identify which 2 survs I want to spare. Ones who make brave plays to save their friends, new players or anyone who tries to offer me their item anyone who plays yoichi. After I kill 2 I get the last 2 on 2 hooks. Then down them, go to hook, shake my head and take them away from hook to a gen.

They usually get the message and a lot of them are grateful for the release. I lose a few points and emblems but the BP loss is minimal, and IDGAF about my monthly rank anymore. I still get the challenge and sense of achievemnt of a proper match and the survs get an unexpected survival even when they got outplayed. Made my killer games much more enjoyable.

  • Problem is game has been around for 6 years. The skill curve is crazy bad for newer players, ESPECIALLY survivor. Mmr will still put newish players against people who've been playing since release.

Plus the fact that anyone with a functioning brain stem can play killer effectively. Versus survivor where you need a lot of knowledge and skill to effectively run a killer in chase long enough to be useful.

Doesn't help we have toxic ppl like this ^^

Who go out of their way try and humiliate new players who are frustrated with getting repeatedly sacrificed each round. Probably because they are killer mains who hit their skill ceiling by bullying solo q games and now can't compete with sweaty swfs at high mmr.

I would say that's not true. If there was an exemption that killers without movement powers only played on maps 9200m² or smaller then that would make them a lot more interesting to play.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/5AW59ZP0NVDP/image.png

Or if we added a killer only teleport that might fix certain maps. Imagine for example if the killer could teleport from one end of this map to the other end by moving through some kind of "gate". See the yellow dots? What if every killer lacking serious mobility could use a teleport like this on "large" maps.

If you are familiar with Monster Hunter World you know that the big monsters could take shortcuts the player (who in this case would be survivor) could not.

That's an interesting suggestion. I prefer the teleport gate idea. Locking certain killers out of certain maps isn't ideal, especially when you look at map offerings.

Would need to make aure the teleport gates arent too near a gen to avoid more gen situations. It could make a loud noise prompt so survs know killer is teleporting and have a few seconds windup and cool down.

Could definitely benefit trapper, doctor, artist, deathslinger, bubba, nemi. To name a few. Deliberately leaving huntress out because she can snipe from silly distances.

  • I personally think it's a lot to do with nowhere to hide. A LOT of killers run that perk now because it an excellent way to catch stealthy survs and force them off of gens.

Distortion is a hard counter to it. Because if killer doesn't see an aura they'll just check a couple lockers, bash the gen and assume the surv cleared out. Then you jump straight back on it again.

I've been running it for a couple of months now and love it. So nice knowing what aura perks a killer is using and when you're recharging the tokens it's a bit like a budget spine chill.

Yh had that yesterday. Set of 3 aces all with the same suit and flash lights. They were all insane chase jockeys and were running prove. I was using my demo farming build. Had a cheryl load in who wasn't part of the team.

Set my bbq to lightborn, didn't engage with any long chases and repeatedly ambushed them. Facecamped 2 of them out of the game for a 2k 🤣 don't think the game went as they planned lol.

  • @sanees said:

    DH:

DH is a practically permanent third state of health therefore

dead hard will have a debuff that slows healing by 75%

this way surv still be wasting a crazy amount of killer time, but if the killer leaves surv, surv most likely have 2 health states next time

    eruption:

the entity will close the generator for 30 seconds

But dead hard already gives you a deep wound to mend. And it's far from an auto 3rd health state. It's hard to get that trigger consistently. I hit maybe 50% of my DH trigger attempts. And it's verybeasy to bait out.

And that's literally a buff for eruption. Its doesn't need it.

Genuinely unsure if this is just a troll post or you're actually being serious.

  • I very rarely run out of tokens. And it gives you amazing info, if you know your perks.

When you lose a token then you can often identify why, e.g. start of the match lose token? Lethal Pursuer. Lose a token when someone is hooked? Bbq. This info lets you avoid aura read trigger and preserves tokens. Try to blind a killer and lose a token? Lightborn.

In a swf it's extra useful because you can let your teammates know how to avoid aura reads too. Plus with the killers using nowhere to hide they assume you've cleared out if they bash a gen and don't see your aura. I run distortion most of the time rn.

It even works as a budgetbspine chill, if token is recharging? You're in terror radius.

  • Yeah it would be nice to have the hook count. Would prevent people using exact same outfits to bamboozle you.

And I personally would use it to actively avoid tunneling people. Couple of times I've intended to let a surv go and accidentally sacrificed them because they had one more hook than I thought 🥲

  • Michaela's witch outfit.

    Jeff's pirate outfit.

Deathslingers black suit and hat outfit

    Hunk legion

And defo kate's rocker outfit with the leather jacket. Looks dope.

  • Tactically it's smart. But if you get the impression the survs are weak and you won't struggle with the match? Let them get unhooked. You get more points for more separate hook actions versus letting survs progress on hook.

Sure it's unpleasant for the survivors if you do it. But that's really down to how you play and whether you care about the other players enjoyment.

Personally I'll only do it if I'm struggling late game and get that lucky.

The sub 1600 MMR cushion period IS the safe environment. Baby killers against baby survivors. You know what I did when I was bad? I watched online videos and got better bit by bit, and that's what everyone does.

You say you know people who quit at 100 hours, I know people at 100 hours who are motivated to play than ever. What do both of our anecdotes have in common? Neither is an argument. If we start putting the opinions on balance of baby survivors on a pedestal, we're gonna have even less balance than we currently do.

Not saying we need to balance solely around new players. But the game does need to be accessible. Atm the skill ceiling is crazy high for a new surv.

That may be true in your region but it is definitely not the case if you watch two streamers who are in the same region : Truetalent/Otz.

The sweatiest games you will see are earlier in the evening not later (on average).

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3324984#Comment_3324984

The thing is that you can play the bad killers at low MMR just fine. But low skill ceiling killers don't have a MMR cap (and they should until something changes). The best doctor in the world using the most powerful addons will be humbled by a mediocre Blight with no addons. That's messed up. There should be no more than 15% difference between the best and worst killers. Right now there is much closer to something like a 55% difference.

It's impossible to balance the game that well. Without totally removing killers that are ineffective or OP. In an ideal world evrytjing would be perfectly balanced but asymmetric games the blance is going to be a nightmare. Especially since bhvr needs to release a new killer every 3 months. They can't really do much work on older ones.

It's always nice when you get a gift 😄.

I'm wondering what's the proportion of players approaching the game like this.

I think the "nicest" I've ever been to a survivor was in a game where one courageous Meg was the only one who didn't gave up immediately and tried to do the gens. (A beginner, that was too cute) I've done everything to give her the "Left for dead" achievement and she got it.

I know killers aren't supposed to be babysitters but ... sometimes ... 😅

I'm kind of bummed when I think the new Mori mechanic will probably make playing nice way more difficult.

God I hope they mothball that mori change. I'd straight up stop playing if I have to sweat a 4k just to get a mori.

The proportion of nice killers seems small but they're out there. Feels like I get deliberately released rarely but as a whole seeing teammates get released isn't uncommon.

Be the change you want to see I guess.

It's not so much about pleasing them. It's kind of hard to explain why, now that I try to. When I know I've won, I don't see the point going further.

Bullies, bullies now get wiped out, if I can, which is most of times. I find their elimination particularly satisfying if I'm on a killer I don't use often or if I'm using no perks.

I know what you mean. I enjoy the challenge of proving I'm better than a team of survs. But I don't need a 4k to do that.

I'd like everybody to enjoy the game if possible. And if I know I could have the 4k? I'm more an happy to down a surv, go to a hook, shake my head then carry them to a gen and let them get on with gens or if they're last one alive take them to hatch.

They know I outplayed them and they get more BP for gen work and surviving. Since I don't care about BP or my rank anymore I find the game much more enjoyable. And I love those interactions where a surv realises you're being nice and you get offered gifts, have slug races etc.

  • That's weird. Idk if it's platform specific but I'm on xbox and I still have the noose icon for my dead dawg offerings.

Also personally don't see the issue with them changing it. There are more important things to worry about than the imagery being changed.

Anyone genuinely against changing it from to avoid suicide trigger warnings is pretty sad imo.

I'm not sure we are even disagreeing that much. The queue length isn't factored for me. I only look at "fair" (for lack of a better word) matches.

As for the prediction on how a casual/ranked queue would go, it's only a guess, from both of us. There isn't really anything to defend there.

I've stopped letting two survivors (or more) escape, even when I crush them. The MMR was trying to balance the outcome and it wasn't pretty. (I still do it if I get the pretty rare early double-rage quit.) The nicest outcome in my opinion is to give hatch. Usually who to doesn't matter.

I also get the ones ranting about who I've chosen, obviously. It's kind of funny because I seldom really "chose" and the ones ranting tend to be weaker (from my point of view) than the one I let live.

It's a bit like when I lose (because of course I do, even as a Nurse) the ones making noise and being obnoxious in the chat are usually the incompetent ones.

Yh i almost always give hatch. It's hard to please survivors isn't it? 🤣 someone will always complain. It is nicr to know that other players let survs go fairly often. So many always try to force the 4k so hard

Dotcor's add on that creates illusory pallets for mad survivors. It's always funny as hell watching someone run for a pallet loop and have the pallet disappear just before you down them 🤣

Wraith coxcomb clapper. I love stealth plays and making people jump. Nothing like silently uncloaking and dropping a surv round a corner.

But by far my fave is driving licence for ghostie. Blowing up a gen by marking a surv is one of my favourite things to do. Especially if we're doing a custom pm voice comms 🤣 so funny scaring my mates. And it's mad good regression lol.

I think I understand your point but I don't think it would really go that way.

As killer I usually try to play casual myself and only go hard when I see the team plays efficient. (As survivor, since I either play solo, either play with beginners friends, casual is the only way I can do it)

But not everyone considers the same things as being casual or sweaty. When I go against a team that has no chance winning, I usually pace myself and slug a survivor once or twice instead of killing him. Some survivors really enjoy the match more and give me praises, some loathe it and insult me. Yesterday I was even called a cheater because, after having massacred a team for the first half of the match, I suddenly stopped being so dangerous and failed several chases (and apparently suddenly forgot I had to hook them, a detail that had escaped my accuser's analysis). The accuser had more than 4000 hours BTW, which was a surprise to me.

I believe the only way to ensure a casual vs harsh play would be a working and accurate MMR. And, believe it or not, but in my experience it mostly works. (The only reason I go against easy survivors is that I play nice too often)

Getting rid of most cheaters would be a prerequisite though. I've noticed that after I utterly "lose" a match because I'm going against cheaters*, my next few games are way too easy.

*) I go against way too many of these stains, I'm fed-up having to upload gigabytes of videos to report them.

We'll have to agree to disagree on the solution. Problem with accurate mmr is you'd be waiting forever for a match. High mmrbplayers would always see the same people in matches. At least with 2 different playlists people will generally be pulled in the right direction.

I tend to play the same way. If I sweat killer I usually win. And it's gotten boring so I also play hard to start with and chill out late game if I have control of the match. I'll usually let 1 or 2 survs escape. More pleasant experience all round.

I usually get GGs from the ones I release but the ones I kill sometimes get salty because I spared someone else and not them lol.

Evolve died much quicker than DBD, and for much different reasons than a rough skill curve. That's why SBMM exists; it provides a safe environment for new players to learn until they get released to the adult world. There's plenty of very successful online games that have high skill floors (TF2, CS for some big ones) that continue to get more pop. DBD's numbers are fine, stop being a debbie downer.

But those aren't asymmetric games they still have balance and for the most part, casual playlists, dbd does not have that. That "safe environment" doesn't exist. A new, inexperienced surv has the worst time of it rn. And I'd know, I started back in august.

My early surv games were extremely punishing. Surviving a match was extremely rare and usually a product of thebkiller deliberately letting me go. My second ever surv match was a farming wraith who got us all to 2 hooks in before we had 2 gens done. Then spent the rest of the game just keeping us injured and just let us do gens and chased us out of the exit gate. Remember sitting there afterwards thinking the learning curve was going to suck.

Maybe I'm a masochist for sticking with it idk. But not many players are willing to put up with that. I know so many people who quit after 100 hours or straight up won't try dbd because they know it'll be punishing.

You sure you're really happy with the game being that offputting to new players? Because I'm certainly not.

it's not necessarily whichever line is higher succeeds - more like what the curves look like in comparison. Surv learning curve is super steep until you reach a certain point from where it pretty much goes flat again. For killer the curve is not nearly as steep for the longest time -- only toward the end it becomes somewhat steeper (and at the very end is probably a very sharp uptick, depending on the killer, that determines whether or not you can take on those survs who climbed the mountain without relying on the most busted addons and perks the killer in question has)

    Fair enough,makes sense.

this illustrates what my impression of what the "skill progression needed to succeed curves" look like. Blue is surv, red is killer. Everyone starts out as a newb but once you leave the absolute newb area where no one knows what they are doing survivors very quickly have to smh make it past a wall-like increase in skill before they can deal with killers who have some idea of what they are doing. Once they have managed to climb that wall (few people do; very few people want to invest dozens, or more like hundreds, of hours into a game to be able to actually play it and enjoy themselves) however, only very few killers can take them on.

With your 300 hours total you're out of the "kiddie pool" and are at the very foot of that wall of a mountain. Your killer experience is alright for the foreseeable future; you won't run into survs who climbed that wall for a while - and even if you do: until you manage to beat them consistently you likely lose enough MMR quickly enough to fall out of that bracket again (after a handful of matches). - As survivor on the other hand.... you either climed that wall ...or you didn't. If you put enough effort in you can get the "game knowledge side" of it rather quickly: learn every killer perk and how they synergise, learn every killer's power and add-ons and how they change the game (aka how you approach the match as a whole but also how you approach certain situations). Then there's also the mechanical side; learning how to loop from scratch and by trial and error will be a long and frustrating thing (because for a good long while you'll get maybe ten or twenty seconds of chase per health state; which doesn't add up to a lot of practise). If you go watch videos and do an hour or two of 1v1 against each killer to focus on working out how they work you'll automatically get enough chase practise to significantly improve. ..... But seriously: how many out of 1000 new players go to those lengths?

That is I think also why you find a lot of survivor mains with a lot of playtime going up against relatively new killers; they probably never bothered to learn perks or add ons or do 1v1s. They're just there for the fun of it and never have and probably never will climb that mountain.

Start point of that red line needs to start like a 3rd of the way up the chart lol. My first ever killer game was a solid 4k. Took a while for my mmr to throw a team at me who served me a 0k.

Anyone have any cool or fun suggestions for killer builds not aimed for being sweaty and going for 4ks every game. I play mostly m1 killers and just want to play some fun builds. I don't care about winning as much as I used to. I just want to have as much fun as absolute possible with killer. Even if it ends in a 4 man escape i don't care. Just want to to for chases and as many hooks as possible without brining a bunch of gen slow down perks.

Meme hex builds are a blast. I run one on deathslinger. Retribution to get aura reads, haunted ground because aura reads on a full team of exposed survs is a lot of fun. Ruin just to get a bit of gen pressure and devour hope. Jusssst in case survs get bored of cleansing and you manage to get a mori off 🤣

It's a funny af build to play, usually horribly ineffective but when it goes off it's utterly hysterical. Nothing funnier than mori'ing someone on their first down.

hm. I could record with playstation easily enough, but I've never done it on the PC; whats the easiest way to set it up? Any ideas?

Not a clue for PC unfortunately. I only play console. Just hit my xbox record button lol. Sorry I can't be more help.

  • Some survivors are just real ######### like that. Thankfully I have more positive thsn negative interactions with ppl i play against. But the salty ones do make me laugh.

ok, I guess you have a point. But does their game gather data? I mean, I reported in game, I can report what I saw, but most people dont record their game. Am I going to have to start just to catch what might be the second hacker i'd ever run into?

Basically yh. Idk how effective the in game report tool is. I'd imagine not very effective at all. Not 100% sure but I'm sure their game does not record match info/logs. Like I say unfortunately just gotta let this one go and now you know for next time. Clip it and then send it to BHVR so they can nail their butts to the wall. 👍

And like I said best to edit that post. A mod can still take action against you if you leave that gamer name up.

  • Hahaha what? Survivor is just fine?

You have actually played survivor right?

Killers are often just as toxic as survivors. And absolutely rofl stomp low mmr survs most of the time.

Good for Blood Warden too, if someone opens the exit gates. Step in, lose a token, either leave or prepare to wait it out. Also gives away scratched mirror Myers pretty quick. It's become a really solid perk, I'm seeing more survivors running it.

Good shout. So glad I don't see that perk often though lol, can't stand blood warden plays. One of the most useful perks in the game distortion IMO. particularly if you're on VC with a swf group. Even the ones without distortion get the info necessary to dodge getting their auras read.
