This just has to be a joke. Just because they both have a gaping maw they are "so similar"? They are COMPLETELY different aside from this one similarity. One is a writhing mass of corpse parts stitched together by darkness while the other one is a mutated scientist, who still has human features.

I still think scourge of the purge is the dumbest challenge ever, but at least it was a one time thing. Blood debt, triage and engineer's guild are awful because you need to rely on teammates to get them done or even make any progress in those challenges.

Fair enough. You must be one heck of a killer to only "need" 3 Perks in the game to aid you. Respect.
I no longer play to win. 4 bbq stacks and 2 hooks on everyone is my goal. After that I try and max out the bp categories for maximum bp gains per trial and do some tome challenges
-
@DangerScouse said:
Genuine question. Do people really think bbq is so "meta" for the BP?
Personally I think it's mainly for the aura reading ability.
I would use the perk even if it only gave double bp and did nothing else. That's how desperate I am for bp
-
as long as it's just a cosmetic I don't care. If it is something that affects gameplay then I agree with you
-
The only one I don't agree with is BBQ. Unlike the other perks it isn't op and in 9/10 cases it is used for its ability to earn more bp. It doesn't deserve a nerf
-
not modding the game might be good idea
-
Not really. We'll get the chapter 24 reveal (big surprise there), some content creator clips, some fan art and that will most likely be it. Maybe we'll get news on a new idea they are working on that will surely 100% be implemented soon-ish, like what happened with the early game warm up
-
if I am on hook and I see a claudette self caring at the edge of the map, a dwight going into a locker and staying there and a meg looting the basement chest, I really don't see a reason to continue this game
-
Onryo. She desperately needs buffs

If it were stronger people would be using it more than dead hard
You don't understand. The survivors are nice enough to nerf themselves and use an inferior perk out of the kindness in their hearts
-
He is top tier when it comes to face camping, which, as we all know, is the pinnacle of skillful plays

@MandyTalk herself said that they don't appear from the start, you need to complete certain objectives, and from what everyone shares in experiences, that's basically what I said if you're a survivor or a killer.
but I've literally found them right at the start. I spawned in, checked a totem spot and one was there. Nothing had happened so far in the game and I already had glyph. This has happened multiple times. Should I report it as a bug?

You need to hook at least 2 times as a killer for them to appear on the map (slug from the start of the game will not make them appear) . As survivor, make at least 2 generators.
That is just plain wrong. I've spent entire games doing literally nothing but running around the map as wraith and found glyphs when I had 0 hooks and no gens were done
-
Really weak. Condemned does nothing because it takes an eternity to build it up but it can be removed very quickly, TV cool down is also way too long considering they are the only thing she has going for her, her stealth is ruined by giving her a lullaby (static sounds), her teleport has global and directional audio cue, she's a normal m1 killer so looping her is easy and hit and run died when CoH came into the game.
TLDR; she needs buffs
-
the only "unfair" thing is the free medkit for everyone, but at least they seem to be monitoring its performance and weren't afraid to nerf it. Bootleg lucky break/distortion, wannabe hope and boon: ultimate twins counter are pretty niche perks
-
It's complete bs that other players can get your glyphs. The glyphs should work like literally every other glyph where it spawns 2 for each player and only that player can interact with them
-
I'd really appreciate better console optimization, but we all know this isn't going to happen. Something to reduce the grind would be nice. The grind is so atrocious, it's what makes dbd a horror game. Also maybe an update on the dead hard issue they said they were looking into.
-
This depends entirely on the player's preferences. For me it's a toss up between legion and deathslinger

I think it's Ottomania/Ottomaniac honestly.
Otto? We've heard of an Otto in dbd lore before. The doctor's lore mentions someone called Otto Stamper. He was the doctors' mentor before his skull was cut open and the doctor started doing weird experiments with his brain. The lore states he wasn't dead when he was found, but in a vegetative state. His fate afterwards was never specified... Maybe the entity took him?

I like the new "chase" part be the old "near" part was better imo.
-
undying probably not as it was another anti-soloq perk that didn't cause swfs any trouble; however they could give it back its aura reading on hex totems. Thrill of the hunt could definitely be reverted though.
-
If it wasn't physically impossible to hit that skill check on the switch, I might consider using it again
-
maybe they weren't selling well enough and this is a "reminder" that they exist?
-
it used to be a pretty solid totem protection perk, but it got an unnecessary nerf when boons were introduced because they needed to sell Mikaela and her boons
-
They said they are looking to find a non abusable solution to fix face camping
-
Well, you are supposed to do the box before the chain hunt starts, but if it's already too late: the box spawns chains in waves. One wave spawns 3 chains. After that, there is a window in which you can solve it without being interrupted.

The theory is you burn these items in the campfire before the trial as an offering for The Entity (it's why it "burns" on the screen showing everyone's offering).
But isn't that just for offerings? We've never seen add ons being burned
-
Maybe against 4 man swfs but definitely not against every team, and 5 would be more than enough
-
Plague. She already has a unique lobby theme. I was genuinely surprised that she didn't get a unique theme when she got her big qol fixes
-
Legion tries the "Freddy gamble". Like old forever Freddy, legion isn't trying to kill survivors with his power, but with boredom. The combination of mending simulator, thanatophobia and some other regression perks means that while legion isn't a threat, the sheer boredom players experience because matches take ages, is.
-
Legion doesn't make soloq unplayable (at least not any more "unplayable" than it already is), but mending simulator is a very boring play style and combined with thanatophobia and his new powerful add ons, legion tries his best to reintroduce the beloved old forever Freddy play style
-
Same bug is also affecting nemesis. You can't pull out the tentacle but you do get the speed penalty. Apparently the same is happening to pyramid head but I haven't tried yet.
-
If I suspect a swf, I dodge. It only takes 5 seconds to get into another lobby, so I don't waste much time.
-
Because they can't run around the same pallet multiple times and be completely safe while doing so
-
Camping: if a killer exists on the map after hooking a survivor
-
Always have been.
LegionMending simulator wasn't changed that much, it is still the same, but because more people use legion now, it's becoming apparent that legion gameplay isn't really interactive or engaging. -
Then use the purple oak offering and bring a full wiggle build with flip fop or something; you aren't supposed to wiggle out under normal circumstances
-
Balancing killers, who already struggle against high rank players, around low level players would be disastrous. These changes would make 90% of the killer cast unplayable even in mid mmr. New players need to learn how to run tiles and get better, there are more than enough resources on most maps to give survivors a good chance of running a killer (exceptions do exist; looking at you, shelter woods)
-
I ran a head-on/deception/quick and quiet/iron will meme build. Map was Badham, killer was trickster. I was repairing the gen in the boiler room. Trickster chased Feng. Feng got downed above me. I ran into basement and to hide in a locker (definitely not because I didn't want to be chased next). Trickster carrying Feng came into basement and I head on saved Feng. I should mention that this wasn't a coordinated swf move. The stars aligned for this to happen.
-
The problem here is, like in many cases, swf
-
I'm a switch player so I can't get any messages. I did get a friend request from a fellow switch player though, which was nice
-
I like Jake's deliverance tome cosmetic because of the backpack
-
I can't comment on the "vaseline" issue, but old haddonfield was terrible and unbalanced, the new version is far from perfect, but it's better than what we had before
-
I kinda like it...
-
nothing can be worse than the disaster that was scourge of the purge, so I'm not worried
-
Plague and oni. If the survivors stay injured, they give you your power. If they cleanse, they give you your power. It's a win win situation
-
Imagine you're working on a gen and suddenly the Jane on the other side of the map gets injured. Now you have to hear her moan all game.
-
I agree. It would be a good event to fill gaps between larger events or chapter releases.

Yeah especially if you are old gen or switch hitting that skill check consistently can be quite difficult
I've given up on using DS on the switch. It's basically a coin flip whether input lag screws you over or the game randomly decides to stutter at the most inopportune time.
