All the time.

I like this a lot, especially since I have had quite a few days where I'll do this too.
Sometimes it's just the thrill of the chase, you know?
-
Nah she's strong, it's just that she's competing against a huge roster of killers and her power isn't all that exciting. She's gonna...shoot a bird at you. She might also place a bird head or two at a loop. Thumbs up!
If you're happy with her, roll with it. I main Trapper and everyone tells me he's hot garbage but I'm humming 'We Will Rock You' but the clapping sounds are replaced with bear traps closing. It's all how you work with the tools you've got.
-
If I say I'm high MMR, it's because I'm joking and since I'm goofy 70% of the time it's a backhanded insult to actual tryhards because I'm just messing around. If I'm higher MMR than a tryhard that means that guy dancing around with boxers on his head is better than you and that induces salt.
My actual behavior is to say I'm bottom MMR because if the game goes south I can just shrug and say 'Yeah I've been bad forever.' and if I win I can go 'lol you got beat by bottom MMR.' Who knows what the truth is, I don't but my way of doing things entertains me so we go with that.

Some can argue that the killer themselves are the monster however it does lack a shrine to the corresponding killer when used... or any shrine unless you are packing one of those entity totems.
If survivors bring offerings like toolboxes, medkits and stuff to the monstrous shrine the killer should recognize it. I want shrines dernit. Make them monstrous. Nobody uses the perk anyway and this would please me.

I've not been able to play during the matches where they've been hidden, but I'm all for it on paper.
What are they replaced with, btw? I'm curious, personally I'd want to see character portraits.
It's just the generic killer and survivor icon you see on the main menu when you pick your role. I think character portraits would be pretty darn cool too. You brought them into the game HUD, might as well go all the way.
The simple fact is that everyone that beats me in game is at max MMR and tryharding and anyone that I win against were at the lowest possible MMR and I should have played nicer. That is the way of things; because of this I feel nothing but love for my fellow gamer, despite the fact I'm only trying to complete my rift challenge and they didn't let me do it. I forgive them, but only this once.
-
All I know is more players will receive iri shards for the Leatherface thing.
-
Monstrous Shrine retains its name as the 'Worst Perk in the game' for there are no shrines nor monsters brought into the game when you use the perk.
-
I'd give him two stances. One would have madness slowly build up passively as you walked around and allow you to shock but the second stance would be your attack stance where you can swing your weapon to injure the survivors.
...but I'd add an attack that gives you more range if the survivor is in higher madness similar to the Nemesis whip so like...if you're chasing a survivor in tier 3 madness they'd see an electric whip come out of the Doctor's normal attack and it'd be able to down them but if they're in madness 1 you'd just have Nemesis' floppy garbage noodle. So there is a benefit to maddening the survivor first before going in for the kill and suddenly Doctor would become anti-loop in a WHOLE different way.
-
What
-
Trapper has inactive bear trap locations picked for you and you can't pick them up, only set them.
-
Default chase theme is still my favorite. It's the one I'm most used to and it goes hard as soon as you get into an actual chase.
-
Visionary or Deja Vu for Survivor. Just knowing where the generators are helps people a lot more than Dead Hard ever could. Doesn't matter how good you chase if generators aren't getting done.
Discordance / A Nurse's Calling are still favorite perks of mine. You don't see them often anymore but they can make a difference.
-
Trapper and Dwight since they're my mains and I'm happy with them. I have everything, but they're still my favorites five years later.
-
I'm usually the last one alive and I don't even struggle anymore when they get me out of habit, even if I know darn well the hooks nearby are broken and I could. It's that common. Take me to the hatch good sir, you have won, I would give you my item if I wasn't bleeding more blood than an elephant.
On the flip side I give people the hatch/escape ~70% of the time. I don't care about the 4k and it makes me feel good.
-
You should try typing 'Blight is a mobile killer' after facing one. I did that once and felt horrible but recalling it now, well, fix your censor lel.
-
You know with this knowledge you could be really cheeky and lure both zombies to the basement if you have time. That way they get stuck down there and if Nemesis tries to bring someone down they'll bodyblock for you.
-
Every time I bring a Skeleton Key on The Game map I get a P3 Nurse that hates me and acts like I insulted her family and kicked her Daddy in the shin.
-
The better to grab you with my dear.
-
As survivor I usually complete the storm checks with no issue. (Save for that one time...)
On my Onryo I run Merciless Storm and Ruin together, and survivors fail to weather the storm a surprising amount of the time. Then I just pop over with a nearby TV and Ruin regresses the gen while I'm in a chase with them.
I haven't tried it on any other slasher but if you see a gen turn white and can pop over there, I can get value out of it.
-
I'm already at 5% progress!
-
The cheeky way to get the stun is to run it with Tenacity and Flip Flop. Then just crawl under a pallet but you're devoting a lot of perks to one gimmick.
Killers don't seem to fear walking through pallets nowadays though so if you just passively run it I guarantee a killer will absentmindedly walk through a pallet sooner than later.
-
People complain about it, so people read those complaints and use the perk to gain an advantage.

I don't tunnel, i very sneakily follow the obsession with rancor equipped
This is a player after my own heart. I don't know what's better, if they realize what you're doing and spend a few minutes trying to lose you or if they don't realize it and turn friendly.
Seeing the personality behind a survivor is always a pleasure. Well, at least until you Rancor them.

Streamer mode only hides names in the match, great for YT terrible for streaming... its funny because even if you hide names you still get "being healed by X" in game lol
Oh, I hadn't really fiddled with that setting too much, but it's good to know. The current HUD gives the information it needs to, but I think it would be neat if they let you adjust it to your preferences.
-
I'm pretty sure Streamer Mode in options hides names and a lot of things you want hidden.
As far as first person survivor, it's cool until you start repairing a generator. Not every killer has a terror radius.
-
I've always gone easy on survivors if they have an early D/C. That's just how I play. There is no challenge in bodying 2 survivors and a potato.
-
Not everyone plays this game competitively. You've now seen it in the wild. I'm happy it was a 4man escape, that always feels good.
-
It's so rare for a killer to vault a window save for the shack window maybe. I doubt people would really notice such a change on a niche perk.
Wouldn't really hurt anything, but I don't think it'd help either.
-
I think it'd be great, a lot of people know all the loops and could do them with their monitor off.
Working on generators would be nerve wracking however. Grabs for days.
-
I know people are going to say run Decisive so I'm going to say if you're being tunneled, run Windows of Opportunity. In order to get killers to stop tunneling you have to teach them tunneling is a mistake. If you can't do anything about it, then at least queue times are short and it's not a big deal. At most you lose your item.
My problem is as soon as a match starts I instantly hop on a generator, which means most of the time I'm the first survivor in a chase. If the killer is gonna tunnel, they're gonna tunnel me. If I quit every match I got tunneled then I'd have lost all my items a long time ago.
You just have to show them that tunneling is a mistake, which require solid survivor play. Can you always do that? No, but it's possible even with window blockers and all the survivor nerfs.
(Bring back infinites, I dare ya.)
-
I like it.
-
Did you guys know the killer FOV is set like a foot in front of your actual model because you used to be able to walk your slasher to a locker and look inside of it via clipping?
-
What I've always found funny is people will play killers with high mobility/teleport options but they'll never be further than 40 meters from the hook.
Like, just play Leatherface.
-
I'll never understand why they deemed Technician powerful enough to have a downside. The item that gives a similar effect is a yellow in the survivor toolbox options, and the brown toolbox makes your skill checks smaller. Taking up an entire perk slot with so many options...you gave it a downside?
Whomst.
-
If you're in a chase with a survivor the only ones they can benefit from are Shadow Step and Dark Theory which you won't see often. It's mostly circle of healing and if they can get a heal off in chase you've got bigger problems.
Boons are a pain against hit and run but if you just chase normally then boons don't exist.

I'm down for it. I wonder why we don't have a map with flowing/knee high water yet? Dead by Daylight water physics. Tubes spraying water. Splashy killers and survivors. Water balloons? Blood in the water. Squirt guns?

not what it say in the news 50k on the 6th and the 7th was purdy dress.
Their day resets at around 7 or 8 EST, which rolls it into two days for most of the world. So if you logged on like 4 hours earlier you'd get the 50k BP, but now you're stuck with the blue dress. Just like many fantasy gamers before you. There are even songs about the purdy blue dress.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2z29Rk8814wSing it while sacrificing survivors. For now you own the big blue dress. It's yours. Wear it proudly.
-
Today is the day we get the purdy dress.
-
It really does. I made some comments about it early on but since they're not gonna fix it you might as well mess with it.
-
What if the Red Forest had trees?
Edit: Red trees.
-
Pentimento.
I'm not talking about the players (usually) but I imagine a lot of the slashers that aren't Myers, Pyramidhead etc are so brain rotten that they don't have anything going on up there other than slash survivors and put them on hooks. Breaking something other than a pallet never occurs to them.
-
Nurse isn't that bad, but to me she's 'nerfed' since I learned to vs her when she had 3 blinks by default so naturally to me she's always going to be easier. HOWEVER if the other survivors are going down real fast then there's not much you can do. Just get her attention and run forward as far as you can so she has to max her blink to catch up to you, then juke her on the second blink. Rinse repeat and hope someone's doing generators.
I do escape Blights but he has the same issue as high level huntress. If they're tryhards then there's not a lot you can do. It's just as Blight you play as the huntress hatchet, and you can turn.
Is there a way to fix it? Dunno. On the lower end of the spectrum those guys are free escapes but when you hit the ceiling and you've lost half your team because they want to play and the killer doesn't, well, what can ya do.
-
Killer is only getting easier and easier. Just relax and left click on people. You'll either get them or you won't BUT you'll get better each time you do it.
I play killer to relax. I enjoy the hunt but I'm also not limited by the pipping system. I do what I want.

Freddy is still around. You just need to be asleep to see him.

It sounds like you need help timing Leatherface's chainsaw when coming out of a locker.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vARkhgypyjoI hope this helps you in your future endeavors.
-
I would absolutely open the gates, farm with survivors and just hook one of them when the timer is halfway down to activate blood warden. They can just heal each other for altruism points while I smile and hope they don't figure out what I just did.
Oops timer is almost gone better get out of here little fellas.

I'm a...decent killer, without any false modesty. If I'm on Hag, Artist, Demo or Plague I can usually hold my own.
I'm an awful, awful survivor.
Same.
