Sure, why not. They can even call it a "quality of life update" so they can pretend it's not a massive survivor buff, like they've done with the last few buffs.

Because Ruin became overbearing the moment the survivor team lost one person; they had no chance of keeping up when the killer already had gained a huge advantage
Why should a killer get punished for winning?
-
"Just apply pressure"
With passive gen regression?
"No, not like that"
With gen kick perks?
"No, not like that"
With strong killers like Nurse or Blight?
"No, not like that"
With 3 gen killers and perks?
"No, not like that"
With tunneling?
"No, not like that"
With camping?
"No, not like that"
With slugging?
"No, not like that"
With hit and run using anti-healing perks?
"No, not like that"
With end game perks?
"No, not like that"
With anti-loop?
"No, not like that"

How am I supposed to slow down gens as killer now?
You aren't. Slowing down gens makes survivors sad. Sad survivors don't buy Feng Min cosmetics.
-
Bloodlust should be stronger.
-
Killers will never get basekit anything.
-
The only thing corrupt is good for is wasting a perk slot.
-
There does seem to be a new bug where fast vaulting some windows results in me kind of stuttering/stopping for a split second that has allowed some killers to get hits they wouldn’t have otherwise. But it’s not every window, and I’m sure it’ll get fixed. Not very consequential but something I noticed yesterday.
-
Easy peasy. Maps are still gigantic, gen regression is dead, and there enough safe pallets for anyone to run a killer for 2-3 gens.
Survivor is a cakewalk.
-
Yes, it should have been basekit since the introduction of boons. It still should be basekit, but BHVR doesn’t think killers need anything good basekit and wants them to have to use perks and addons to even get to a break-even point.
-
Yeah, it’s a godsend. Great work on this BHVR!
-
Many maps should be half the size they are, if not even smaller than that. Huge maps are a major reason only a couple killers are viable.
-
“I’m converting to killer main”
No you’re not.

The last time they put out stats about the playerbase way back in 2019, they showed half of all survs in at least a two-man. With solo-queue just so delightful since then I have to believe to those numbers must have increased.
Showing SWF in pre-game would lead to lobby dodging on a truly epic scale, completely compromising matchmaking and destroying queue times.
It would be better to address any issues with SWF (imagined & real) with changes that won't kill the matchmaking.
Maybe BHVR should start balancing around SWF then, so playing in a SWF isn’t so inherently advantageous.
-
I thought survivors hated situations with no counterplay??????
-
Gates should automatically regress at the same speed survivors can open them.
-
For real though, they need to show who is in a SWF in the pre-game lobby. "Oh but SWFs will get dodged," you say. Yes they will, and that's fine. Per BHVR's own stats, being in a SWF gives a real, confirmed advantage. And yet the game is not balanced around SWF. It's unfair that killers may have to play at a distinct disadvantage and have no say in the matter.
If people want to play against that, that's their choice. But it should also be a valid choice to say "no thanks, I don't want to play a game that's inherently unfair from the get-go."
-
Hag, no contest. Especially when they use the addon where the traps go off invisibly. I'd rather get 3-genned by skull merchant 10 times in a row.
-
It'd be great to get a trans character.
Related, I still would love to get Jamie Clayton's hell priest as a skin+voice for the Cenobite. I thought the new Hellraiser was pretty middling overall, but she was one of the high points and I loved her in that role.
-
It's so funny when survivors say that killers are "abusing" perks by using them at all.
-
A concede button for killers that auto clicks itself upon the game loading into Garden, Borgo, Cowshed, or Badham
-
Don’t teabag, don’t BM in general, don’t exploit bugs to climb to unreachable spots, and leave once the exit gates are opened.
-
No, if anything I think bloodlust should last longer and have fewer restrictions.
-
It’s absurdly survivor-sided.
-
weird how a killer gets majorly nerfed and then that killer stops being played, leading to much less variety and more stagnant gameplay, hopefully there’s some kind of lesson we can learn from this
-
For a perk that’s apparently terrible and hard to use and easy to counter, it sure gets picked a lot.
-
Whoa whoa whoa you want playing killer to not feel clunky and bad???
-
Survivors don’t want chases. They want chases where they are guaranteed to not get caught. They want chases where they can teabag at every pallet and window and type “ez” in the end game chat.

I don't mind blight, you can have some really fun edge of your seat matches with him.
But Nurse continues to be horrendously unfun to go against. The recent nerf, from a survior perspective, made absolutely no difference to her in terms of making her less miserable go against. If I hadn't read up on what the nerfs were I wouldn't even have known any happened it was so poorly handled.
What would make nurse fun to go against for you?
-
Remember years ago when they “balanced” pallets by removing a single pallet from maps? Same thing here.
-
It’s garbage
-
survivors won’t be happy until killers cannot win in any scenario

"DH still keeps its annoying aspect of not being able to lunge with confidence,it's been meta since release and probably the most complained survivor perk, can't we just remove it already?"
It's literally been killed off. You're only ever gonna encounter DH now if you're tunneling.
Oh word, does DH automatically deactivate after a timer like OTR and DS?

They switched their Twitter handle from DeadByBHVR to DeadByDaylight. And the new handle is still active.
Also Twitter is on fire because it’s being run by the world’s dumbest, saddest man, so who knows what’s going on with reliability there
-
Bhvr is TERRIFIED of making big survivor perk changes. Can’t piss off those feng min cosmetic buyers!
-
You can tell it’s a good perk when you’re incentivized your avoid using it.

Okay.
You also don't have to travel to kick the gen and it applies instantly.
But yes, I understand. You must run 4 gen regression perks or else you insta-lose as Killer.
👍

25% total regression is nothing to scoff at.
25% total regression on one generator once per survivor assuming hook RNG works out in your favor is, in fact, quite a lot to scoff at
-
Honestly, with this change to Pain Res, it shouldn’t be a scourge hook perk any more and should work on any hook. Only being able to use the perk at most 4 times and also have to deal with scourge hook RNG really makes it not worth it.

POV: You ignored the med-kit and DH nerfs and also ignored the PR buff.
PR is still only going to be usable once per survivor, you call that a buff??
also overcharge and call of brine are still getting massive nerfs
-
It’s a relatively tiny nerf to the single strongest perk in the game, every survivor is still going to run it, and its effects are going to be the same after the first couple chases.
bhvr try playing killer, I’m begging you

It wouldn’t surprise me if they reverted the healing/medkit nerfs but left all the gen regression nerfs in place.
Called it
-
I knew they’d revert the healing nerf and keep the gen regression nerfs, predictable as hell.
bhvr maybe try playing killer at least once
-
IMO it’s been a better game than regular DBD since basically the beginning.
-
Just apply pressure in multiple places simultaneously against very powerful items while playing as a 110% speed killer, easy peasy lemon squeezy*
*difficult difficult lemon difficult
-
I had wrist surgery a couple years ago that took one of my hands out of commission for a while. I don’t have too many extra buttons on my mouse but I basically bound one to shift+w and another to space and that worked pretty well for playing survivor. I never tried playing killer that way though.
-
I like the DBD mobile grouping of perks by category
-
It wouldn’t surprise me if they reverted the healing/medkit nerfs but left all the gen regression nerfs in place.
-
Definitely sounds worthy of a kill switch
-
what a weird thing to get mad at
