You’re not my dad.

I agree with OP wholeheartedly. Over a long enough chase, the killer should always catch the survivor. It doesn’t mean the survivor shouldn’t be able to delay that long enough to where a skilled killer will bail and go chase someone else.
And yes, there are still true infinites in the game. The SM base in Sheltered Woods can spawn at least one if not two.
(Also for the both-sidesers: I think Made for This is fine).

Lucky Break. Absolutely one of the strongest survivor perks and it’s bananas to me that more people don’t run it. It’s the first thing I equip in almost any survivor build.
-
My hot take: Solo survivor is easy
-someone with 2000+ hours as solo survivor
-
They want Wesker nerfed hard enough that no one ever plays them (see: Spirit)
-
If your point is “BHVR makes lots of bad killers,” then I agree.
-
Wesker was the last good, strong, fun killer. When multiple killers in a row are weak and bad, it’s not surprising people want to compare them to the last success.
-
e: never mind
-
They removed it to make it much easier for survivors, which is their design philosophy for all maps
-
Why would I bother to learn a clunky, bad killer with a mediocre power when I could play a fun, good killer with a strong power like Wesker?
-
Massive failure
-
Killers aren't supposed to have fun.
-
Third awful chapter in a row. Bad killer that struggles at all levels of play, as intended.
-
Killers should absolutely have a concede option. Survivors should have a concede vote as well.
-
The only killer play style allowed is “do what survivors want, then lose”
-
Horror is famously a genre without variety or subgenres or comedy or campiness or bright colors or people who talk.

These kinds of posts are very funny because horror fiction has been deeply intertwined with queer culture for decades if not centuries.

lmao, DBD players just can’t stop themselves going after obvious bait, in game and out.
-
A completely undeserved Wesker nerf to reduce his pickrate as it’s unacceptable for killer players to have fun.
-
Buff Myers, Nerf none, Rework Skull Merchant
-
It is objectively unfair, it gives survivors a huge advantage, and the devs continue to balance the game as though it doesn’t exist.
-
This happens to me nearly every time I play. It’s not my internet because other stuff is still working, and it’s not my video drivers or anything like that because I can still interact with browsers while the game is locked up. It’s clearly either the game crashing or the server crashing.
-
To be fair, knight’s guards couldn’t catch survivors before Made for This. They’ve always been terrible and worthless.
-
TBH I think a werewolf could be a really good reskin of Demo that would enable more people to play that killer without it being tied to the license. He could have the same pounce, he could dig holes instead of placing portals, etc. Same killer, new skin.
Maybe if you already own Demo, the werewolf gets merged with him somehow, or you get him for free or something.

Devs literaly play the game every day, and being one isn't as easy and rainbowy as people think.
They have previously stated they play about an hour total per week.

Is he really even a ranged killer? He has to reel you into melee range to down you. He’s as ranged as trapper.
-
He’s very easy to counter. I’ve died once to him because I got farmed.

The only thing anyone is abusing is the word “abusing”

I really wish they hadn’t opened the basekit floodgates by adding basekit BT

Then why should ds deactivate when all gens are done?
IMO DS (and OTR) shouldn't deactivate when all the gens are done.

if anything it’s designed to just end the game for a killer who refuses to hook and can thus hold the game hostage, or to penalize a survivor who was downed and revived multiple times. Just because things are in the game doesn’t mean they’re meant to be utilized and killers aren’t meant to just bleed out survivors. Survivors were never meant to just hang around after all the exit gates were opened and they added a feature to prevent it. It’s about time they do something about this as well. Sorry it’ll make you have to play more skillfully and strategically it they do.
For the record, I don’t typically slug unless forced to (like survivors running to hookless dead zones). But your argument is ridiculous. “Just because things are in the game doesn’t mean they’re meant to be utilized” is an absurd thing to say.
Also, for the record, I agree that being slugged is boring and I would welcome a change that would eliminate it, as long as it wasn’t just a straight-up massive survivor buff (as the Unbreakable basekit was).

I don’t remember saying that the bleed out mechanic doesn’t exist… but it’s not your objective to down and then do nothing. Maybe you should ask the devs why they added hooks to the game if you’re not meant to use them?
It’s the killer’s objective to make survivors die. They can do that through:
- Hooks
- Moris
- Endgame collapse
- Bleedouts
It’s not like they slipped on a banana peel and accidentally coded a bleedout mechanic on the way down.

Actually, no. If their objective was just to kill survivors then the game wouldn’t need the hook mechanic at all. The game was designed for hooks to be their objective: they are sacrificing for the entity. There’s a reason that moris are only available with certain add-ons, powers, and perks that are even then still quite situational. It’s because their primary goal is to hook survivors. Allowing survivors to bleed out is not.
Whoa you should tell the devs, they have a huge bug where survivors die after being on the ground for a while!

My question is why is it considered “abusing dead zones” when survivors knowingly run to areas with fewer hooks yet so many people are still inclined to want to defend camping, tunneling, and slugging? The former is far more of a strategy than the latter. A lot of killers are gonna slug anyway even if hooks are plentiful. I had a Trickster today who just kept slugging Kate until the point that there wasn’t even time to pick her up again because your bleed out timer doesn’t reset. I’d much rather bleed out against a killer that abandons me because they think it a poor strategy to pick me up in a dead zone than to be sacrificed by a killer who camped and slugged so they can easily put me on the same hook my teammate just died on. Furthermore, I don’t think killers should receive any points for survivors that bleed out. A killer’s objective is to hook just as a survivors objective is to repair. Survivors can’t escape without doing their objective so killers should have to do theirs as well.
A killer’s objective is to kill survivors. Hooking them is just one way to do it.

Oh yeah. And also let's autodown flashsaved survivors too after some time. Because the alternative is just no good... This is absolutely bonkers. Hooks already spawn WAY too leniently for killers. The only exception can be named - and BTW midwitch from around patch 6.5 is not part of them (they added quite a hefty number of new hooks into that map).
How would you like it if survivors were able to say remove your perk after 3mins of game, because "you had enough time to use it already" - no matter if it's NOED or NWO... Your "idea" is about the same caliber.

Yeah, that’d be crazy

The purpose of the Singularity is the same purpose as 80% of the killer roster: bamboozle people out of a few bucks with a bad killer no one will want to play after a week.
-
Nah, I’ll keep lobby shopping as long as SWF is so overpowered
-
Gens haven’t been fair ever in the history of the game
-
Managed to get a Haddonfield game done, but it did have a real big hitch about 6 minutes in, which is when it normally freezes. It definitely gave a good long thought about freezing but managed to recover.
-
I get this a lot, especially on Haddonfield. Like I'm pretty sure I haven't been able to finish a single game on Haddonfield since this started.
-
It's pretty funny that the devs were like "we're reducing the number of EMPs available" but it's still more than the number of survivors so everyone can still have one 100% of the time with a guaranteed spare, so the nerf had literally no effect.
-
Bhvr does not design or test their maps for gameplay, it’s 100% aesthetic design and they shoehorn gameplay in afterward
-
Apparently if all survivors go down it’s through no fault of their own, they have no obligation to do anything to help each other or run away or hide and should just win by default.
-
Most of them considering that “add 30 safe pallets, 15 breakable walls, and a couple god windows” was their guiding principle
-
I don't really have easier games but I have more fun ones. Not having to bait out Dead Hard in every chase makes the game overall more satisfying to play. Even when I hit a survivor and they DH it, it doesn't feel as annoying, because it's not every goddamn chase, every goddamn game.

“Thats a player problem” the killer slugged never picked up and had a perk that blocked auras so i cant see my teammates and they cant see me. How is that our fault?
”clearly you dont think slugging is a problem” i made a whole thread about it an im here discussing how to fix it. Also i dont bring unbreakable because i like to run different perks. Using meta is just boring
honestly we are going knowhere with this so its best to just drop the convo. Have a good day
How highly did your team prioritize breaking the hex totem?
